Hi! I’m Laura 😊 I’ve always loved dogs and currently have a French Bulldog called Gus, who keeps me on my toes! Looking after him has taught me so much, from daily walks and playtime to understanding different behaviours and making sure he’s happy, healthy and well cared for. We have lots of family and friends with dogs (of various breeds) and I have looked after many of them over the years. I’m confident caring for different breeds. I have plenty of experience with brachycephalic breeds (like French Bulldogs) and I’m more than happy to stick to your dog’s usual routine, training and any instructions you leave so they feel comfortable and settled. I’m a teacher, so one of the best things about my job is that I have all the school holidays free, which means I have lots of time to give your pets the attention and company they deserve while you’re away. I can also be available on some weekends and evenings. I live with my boyfriend too, which means extra love for your pup 😊 I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, and I’d treat your dog just like my own. I’ll make sure they have lots of love, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in safe hands!

Laura has always been amazing with dogs and I’ve seen first-hand how much care and attention she gives Gus. She is patient, responsible and really takes the time to understand a dog’s needs. I’ve trusted her to look after my two dogs and cat and know that any animal in her care would be treated like one of her own. She’s reliable, caring and a real animal lover.

Schedule
As a teacher, I have all school holidays free, which means I can completely work around your dog’s usual routine during those times. Whether they need early morning walks, lunchtime visits or evening cuddles, I’m happy to fit around what works best for them. During term time, I’m available on evenings and weekends for walks, drop-in visits and pet care. I’ll always be upfront about my availability and will only accept bookings that I know I can give my full attention to.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground-floor flat with a small private terrace, so dogs still have access to fresh air and a safe outdoor space for toilet breaks. My own French Bulldog, Gus, is used to regular walks throughout the day (he prefers not to use the terrace for toilet breaks!) and lots of attention at home. For dogs staying in my home, I’d need to know they are comfortable around other dogs, as Gus is very friendly and playful and still thinks he’s a puppy! Having said that, he will listen when a dog tells him off. I’d always arrange a meet and greet first to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. I’m also happy to consider staying in your home if that’s what works best for your dog. I’d follow their usual routine and make sure they feel settled while you’re away.
