We have over 30 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from German Shepherds and Rottweilers to our beloved Shih Tzus, Rolo and Wispa, who were part of our family for 14 wonderful years. Having retired, we now have plenty of time to give your dogs the love, care, and attention they deserve. Your furry friend will be treated like part of the family, spoiled with cuddles, walks, and plenty of one-on-one time. We understand the needs of different breeds, from pups to senior dogs who need a little extra care. The grandchildren visit once a week, so your dog will also get the chance to enjoy some extra attention (and belly rubs!). We know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and we’d love to welcome them into our home while you’re away.

Christine & Ray are a lovely couple and Tyson felt relaxed almost immediately at our meet & greet. He was well looked after, including cuddles during his stay and it was evident in photos and videos that he was very happy. Highly recommended.

Schedule
As retirees, we have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your dog, ensuring they get all the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Our day typically starts with a morning walk, followed by plenty of playtime, cuddles, and relaxation throughout the day. We love spending time outdoors, so if your dog enjoys walks and fresh air, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore. For dogs who prefer a more relaxed pace, there’s always a cosy spot on the sofa for naps and belly rubs. Mealtimes and routines will be followed exactly as you set them, ensuring your dog feels at home. In the evenings, there’s more time for play, another walk if needed, and lots of affection before settling in for the night. Once a week, our grandchildren visit, providing even more love and attention for dogs who enjoy being around children. Your pet will always be part of our daily routine, receiving the same care and affection as our own beloved dogs.

We offer a peaceful, pet-friendly home with plenty of space for your dog to relax and feel at ease. We have a secure, enclosed garden where they can play safely, and we always supervise outdoor time. Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy level, whether they love long strolls or gentle potters. We maintain their usual routine, including feeding schedules, medication (if required), and bedtime habits to help them feel at home. If we’re caring for your dog in your home, we ensure they stick to their familiar routine, keeping stress to a minimum while you’re away. We respect your space, maintain cleanliness, and provide regular updates so you have peace of mind. We have years of experience with all breeds and temperaments, from energetic puppies to older dogs needing extra care. With us, your furry friend will always be safe, well-loved, and treated like family.
A typical day
We start the day with a morning walk, tailored to your dog’s needs. After breakfast, there’s plenty of time for play, cuddles, and attention. Whether your dog enjoys curling up for cuddles or simply resting in a quiet space, we make sure they feel comfortable and loved. Throughout the day, we follow your dog’s usual routine, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and right at home. Plus, we send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands!
