Pet care experience

Your Dog’s Home Away From Home

I have loved and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, having owned a dog since I was three years old. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies needing patience and guidance, to gentle senior dogs who require a little extra care and understanding. Friends and neighbours have always trusted me to look after their pets and check in on them while they’re away, because they know I treat every animal as if they were my own. I understand deeply that pets aren’t “just animals”, they are family, our fur babies and having experienced both the unconditional love and the heartbreaking loss of a pet, I know how important it is to leave them in safe, caring hands. When your dog is with me, they will be safe, happy, and genuinely loved every moment you’re apart.

Our Reggie was well looked after whilst staying with Rebecca. Regular updates showed him having a good time and can see he really enjoyed being with his new friends. I would 100% recommend and I will definitely ask for him to return, I think Reggie is missing them already xx

Rebecca has looked after my dog a number of times and we would recommend her to anyone. She's reliable, very caring and sends us plenty of updates! My dog, who is of a nervous disposition, is always well looked after and enjoys his time there!

Becky looked after my dog recently, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. My dog isn’t the friendliest and can be quite wary of new people, but Becky was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding from the start. She took the time to build trust rather than rush things, which made a huge difference. She kept me updated, followed all instructions carefully, and clearly put my dog’s comfort and safety first at all times. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was with someone so experienced and compassionate. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Becky to anyone, especially if they have a more nervous or challenging dog.

Rebecca is a very kind and caring young lady. We have trusted her on many occasions to look after our fur baby. When our Boxer dog was poorly Rebecca sat with her whilst I went out showering her with love and kindness. I have no hesitation in recommending Rebecca to look after your treasured pets

I’ve known Rebecca for many years, and I can honestly say she is one of the most caring and trustworthy people I know. If there’s anyone I would trust with my dog, it’s her without hesitation. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how naturally loving and attentive she is with animals. She doesn’t just “look after” dogs she genuinely connects with them. She’s patient, gentle, and incredibly intuitive when it comes to understanding their needs and personalities. She’s also one of the most responsible people I know. When she commits to something, she gives it her full attention and care. Whether it’s sticking to routines, making sure a dog gets enough exercise, or simply giving them the affection they need while their owners are away, she puts her whole heart into it. Beyond that, she’s simply a good person kind, reliable, and dependable. Any dog in her care will be treated like family, and any owner can feel completely at ease knowing their pet is safe, loved, and well looked after. I truly couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally and happily into my daily routine. I work from home three days a week, and even better, I work for a pet food company that welcomes dogs into the office — so your pup can be by my side whether I’m at home or at work. This means there is plenty of time for play time! I’m an early riser, and the day always starts with a lovely morning walk to stretch our legs and get some fresh air, fresh water followed by some breakfast. During the day, dogs have the freedom to relax around the house or settle beside me while I work, with plenty of reassurance and company. At lunchtime, we head out for another walk and, of course, some cuddles. In the evening, after tea, we enjoy one more walk before winding down on the couch with lots of love and attention. Bedtime means tummy scratches, comfort, and sweet dreams — ensuring your dog feels safe, content, and completely at home.

Safety, trust & environment

When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family from the moment they walk through the door. I create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they can relax and feel completely at ease. I stick closely to their usual routines — whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, medication, or bedtime habits — because I know how important familiarity is for their comfort. They’ll have plenty of space to explore, cosy spots to rest, and constant supervision to ensure they’re safe at all times. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, whether they’re playful and energetic or gentle and laid-back, so I can give them the exact care, attention, and affection they need. My goal is always for them to feel secure, happy, and loved — just as they would in their own home. I have a small Astro turfed front & back garden that is fully secure, & 2 Small parks that are round the corner. I don’t currently have my own pet living at the house. But do see and look after my parents & my partners parents dogs often.

A typical day

Every pet is different some want non-stop action, others just want to curl up next to you. I’d tailor the day to their personality, energy level, and needs. Mornings are all about burning energy and starting the day happy. Morning Walks, feeding time, quick groom, fetch or tug of war. Afternoons are for enrichment & exploration, Brain games like puzzle feeders or treat hunts, Short training sessions, light brushing or bonding time & calm cuddles breaks. Tea time nature walks & park social time. Evening is wind down and snuggles, dinner time and light play, couch cuddles whilst watching tv, final toilet break and off to bed.
