Animal lover with rescue experience
I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up in a family that absolutely loved pets, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats, dogs, parrots, rabbits, iguanas and even wildlife while volunteering. Because Romania has a serious stray-animal problem, I spent many years rescuing, fostering and rehabilitating stray cats and dogs, often working alongside veterinarians to help them recover and find loving homes. I’ve cared for animals ranging from newborns to elderly pets, including animals that were traumatized, seriously ill or needed extra patience and intensive care. I always had my own pets too, bith dogs and cats. I’ve also looked after many friends’ and family members’ pets, including walking and caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. I always dreamed of becoming a vet, and although life took me in a different direction, animals have remained a huge part of my life. I’m patient, attentive and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for.

We had the best experience with Cristiana as our pet sitter! She took amazing care of our two American Bullies, Toffee and Mabu, as well as our two cats, a Sphynx and a Scottish Fold. Taking care of four pets with completely different personalities is definitely not an easy job, but Cristiana handled everything so naturally and responsibly. She was attentive, caring, patient, and made sure all of them received plenty of love and attention. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our pets were happy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyed having her around. We would absolutely trust Cristiana with our pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, loving, and responsible pet sitter. ❤️
She looked after my mum’s 19 year old cat, Gruba, for a few days. Gruba had missing teeth and could only eat wet food, and as an indoor/outdoor cat her fur tangled easily, so she brushed her every day. She also noticed some mats and overgrown nails and, with our permission, took her to the groomer. Gruba loved her from the start, and Cristiana was very caring and attentive. I would definitely trust her with a pet again.

Schedule
I’m a tattoo artist with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability during the week, so I can give pets plenty of time, attention and care. For suitable dogs, I can also offer evening adventures in the Peak District if the owner is happy with this. I can host small and medium-sized dogs in my flat, provided they’re comfortable in a flat environment and don’t bark excessively. My priority is for every pet to feel safe, relaxed and happy.

I live in a quiet, green area with two large parks nearby, perfect for walks and exploring. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and keep pets safe, supervised and comfortable while maintaining their usual routines. I’m experienced with animals of all ages and needs, including rescue animals and very young kittens requiring bottle-feeding, so I’m attentive to changes in behaviour and know when a pet may need extra care.
A typical day
A perfect day starts with a morning walk and plenty of sniffing, followed by breakfast and some relaxed cuddles. Once we’re settled, we can play, practise a little training and enjoy some mental stimulation before heading out for a longer adventure in one of the nearby parks. After all that excitement, it’s time for a good nap. In the afternoon, we can enjoy some quieter enrichment, playtime and cuddles, followed by another walk around dinner time. We’ll finish the day with a calm evening and one last potty walk before bed. 🐾
