“This was the second time Michelle and her husband Graham have looked after our 2-year-old whippet, Walter and they were absolutely fantastic again. Walter has a few whippet quirks, but they handled him perfectly and made him feel right at home. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind. When we collected him, it was obvious that he had been well cared for. We highly recommend them and will definitely ask them to look after Walter for us again.”

“Geoffrey was cared for so well, we will definitely be booking again. He was so happy and I loved seeing the pictures of what he was up to and all the updates we got. Thank you so much for having him!”

“Holly was amazing, the perfect person to look after our dog for our wedding. She was so accommodating and gave us constant updates which made us feel at ease as our dog can be a little nervous sometimes. We are very grateful to have found her!”

“So friendly and brilliant with my doggies. Had loads of pictures sent through whilst I was away 😊 The doggies well and truly looked like they were on their holidays too! Would recommend to anyone 👍”

“Maria was great with communication and we left our dog in good hands for 12 days with Maria when we went abroad for a family holiday. We had the opportunity to meet Maria and her dog Bambi at their home before making the booking to ensure it was a good fit for both sides and to discuss any concerns. Received plenty of photos and updates and on returning home our boy is very happy and has been well looked after, definitely recommend and will use Marias services again if needed”

“Emily and her son took care of our Lab Nala for 8 days and Nala had a fantastic time, she’s come home and is happy and content with no issues whatsoever, I’d highly recommend Emily and her services ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I have always loved animals and dogs in particular. I do think of them as family members and have always taken care of them in this way. I have learned a lot from training and taking care of my own dog. I am currently working part time in an ad-hoc capacity so choose my schedule. I do have a little boy who will sometimes need to be with me, he is used to dogs and very gentle. We are at home a lot of the time so looking after another dog would fit into my schedule very well. I have a fenced in garden and one friendly dog, lots of dog toys and we are often out playing in the garden. They are welcome to come inside or out as they need while they are here.

“Our first time using dog boarding for mollie so I was unsure and uneasy about a few things and I can 100% recommend celine and Leigh, nice and easy drop off/pick ups and so friendly. I felt at ease knowing she was being well looked after the whole time, and had lots of photos and messages updates etc. Mollie will definitely be returning for our next holiday! Thank you!❤️”

“Alison is a lovely lady who clearly adores animals. My boy has bad separation anxiety so I was worried about leaving him overnight and away from home. After our initial meet Enzo went to stay with Alison for a few hours a handful of times to get him used to being somewhere new and with someone new. He was totally happy and relaxed with her on his smaller visits and while I was away. Alison was so accommodating and helpful and we will continue to use her services in the future.”

“We needed a dog sitter for our three dogs at quite short notice and find Ian! I am so glad we did. The dogs loved their stay and were so well looked after, being able to run around in his lovely garden. He has a lovely pug called Nelly who was very friendly and welcomed our dogs into her home with a waggy tail 😊 He sent us regular photos so we could see them settling in. Highly recommended 😊”

“Helen and Andy were absolutely amazing with our dog, Kobe! This was Kobe’s first time staying away from home, so we were a bit nervous— especially since he’s an energetic miniature cockapoo, but they made the entire experience really good and reassuring. From the start, it was clear they were both experienced with handling high-energy dogs. Kobe instantly took to them, which says a lot. They kept him active, engaged, and happy the whole time, and we could tell he was getting plenty of attention and care. We also really appreciated the regular updates—they gave us peace of mind knowing Kobe was doing great and having fun (especially playing with Bonnie!). We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Helen and Andy again! Thank you!”

“Sandra looked after Bailey very well, with regular updates, pictures and videos as well! We couldn't fault the care the family have given to Bailey and will be more than willing to book Bailey in their care again. We can't fault anything about the care and attention given. Many thanks 👍”

It was clear he was very well cared for and happy with her. Thank you so much - we wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

“Hayley looked after our cats for 11 days whilst we went on holiday. It was our first time using someone we didn’t know and we were very nervous! After meeting prior to us leaving though, I knew they’d be in great hands. Both cats went to her immediately! Sure enough, she was fantastic.❤️ One of our cats needs medication twice a day, monitored food etc and both need a love n fuss and they were covered with abundance on both fronts! Hayley sent us updates and photos twice a day, every day whilst we were away and I never once had to worry about my pets being cared for❤️ their litter, feeders, fountain etc were all kept immaculate. Never once had to worry about her being in my house etc. Always on time, everything we’d asked of her sorted (even cheekily asked her to water a couple of my plants and they’re thriving ahaha). Plus after returning off the back of a loooong travel day, she had left us such a cute welcome home gift and custom card 🥰 I truly couldn’t be more grateful and will deffo recommend her/use her services again any time I’m away from now on. Thank you so much again Hayley, you are amaaazin! Xxx”

About: Hi! I’m Emma, a lifelong cat lover and proud human to our distinguished senior gentleman, Bean, who we’ve had for the last 14 years. We’ve always had cats in the family, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. As Bean is an indoor cat, I’m very comfortable with litter tray duties, administering medication if needed, and understanding the little quirks and routines cats can have. I’m DBS checked and have recently completed a feline first aid course for extra peace of mind. I also work from home, which allows me to be flexible with visits and availability. I know how important it is to feel your cat is safe, comfortable and cared for while you’re away, so I’d love to provide reliable, caring visits along with updates and photos to help put your mind at ease.

“Loki and Midnight were in great hands with Julie; she even left them a little present at the end of her visits. Julie came to meet the cats before we went away and I was able to show her where everything was. Would highly recommend and wil definitely be using her again; it was far less stressful for the cats to have someone look after them in their own home and Julie was fantastic and even gave me updates while I was away.”

“I highly recommend Lucia for anybody needing a pet sitter. Lucia was so helpful and kind in picking up a very last minute 10 Day booking, (after we'd been let down terribly by another sitter only few days before we were meant to leave). Lucia was always polite and quick to respond to any queries we had, and was very kind in picking up additional visits during the time span also. Lucia did an absolutely amazing job of caring for our foster cat, who took to her straight away. We received photos and updates on every visit. It was lovely to see him playing and asking for fusses. Lucia was also extremely kind at the few accidents our foster cat had outside of litter trays, and we are very grateful for her handling of these with absolute kindness. I would absolutely recommend Lucia to anyone. Thank you so much Lucia :)”

“We were really happy with the care Cleo received. She was well looked after, and the updates gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We’d be very happy to book Armish again.”

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently have a friendly Labrador who is well socialised and used to being around both dogs and cats. Outside of pet care, I organise an annual dog show with the charity Friends of Middleton Park and, this year, I'm also organising a free community dog show for the Belle Isle Gala in partnership with Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation. I have animal first aid experience and access to veterinary advice and emergency support 24 hours a day, giving you added peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I have my own transport and, at weekends, weather permitting, your dog may enjoy trips to local parks and beauty spots for extra enrichment and exercise. Of course, you'll receive plenty of photos, updates, and messages throughout their stay so you can see just how much fun they're having. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like part of the family. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home environment where your pet's wellbeing is my top priority. I work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. Pets are never left alone for more than two hours, and in most cases are with me almost all of the time. Before the booking, we'll discuss your pet's routine, preferences, dietary requirements, and any special needs to help them settle in as comfortably as possible. During their stay, your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. I will stick as closely as possible to their normal routine to help them feel at home. Inside the home, pets are never left without companionship, as I have other friendly pets to keep them company when I’m out. I also use multiple water fountains and automatic feeders, which are monitored and will alert me when levels are low. This means fresh water is always available and feeding routines are followed on schedule, even when I’m not at home for short periods. When out on walks, dogs are always kept on a lead for safety. If appropriate and with owner permission, I also use extendable leads so they can enjoy extra freedom to explore while still remaining secure and under control. As I work from home, pets are supervised for most of the day and are never left alone for more than 2 hours. I maintain a calm, safe environment and follow each pet’s usual routine closely to help them feel settled and secure. Regular updates and photos are provided so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for throughout their stay.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have two family dogs at my mum’s house, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my day-to-day life. During secondary school, I volunteered at Tia Rescue in Doncaster, helping care for dogs with different personalities and needs. While living in Canada, I also provided dog sitting for guests staying at Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, caring for dogs while their owners were out exploring or relaxing. I’m patient, reliable and genuinely love spending time with animals — whether that’s walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping them company and comfortable while you’re away. I currently can’t have a dog of my own where I live, so this is honestly the next best thing for me. I love getting to spend time with different dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe and well cared for. I currently work part-time at a coffee shop, so my schedule is flexible and gives me good availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting. I enjoy getting outdoors more and love spending time with dogs, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m happy to keep owners updated with messages and photos so you know your dog is safe and happy while you’re away. I live in a home with a fully fenced garden where dogs can safely play and relax. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and understand how important routine, patience and reassurance are when caring for someone else’s pet. I’ll always make sure dogs feel comfortable, well looked after and treated like part of the family while in my care.
“I would highly recommend Lucia. Very trustworthy. Definitely could see her love for all dogs. I couldn't recommend her enough if you want your dog to feel loved like their own, safe and happy. Incredibly happy with her services.”

“Would recommend Danielle, she came to meet me and Dottie before the first dog walk. Everything went well on the day and I would definitely be happy to leave Dottie with Danielle again. Thank you.”

I work from home, which means your cat or dog will receive plenty of company, supervision, and attentive care. Whether I’m boarding your cat, house sitting, stopping by for drop-in visits, or taking your dog for a walk, I tailor my care to their individual routine and needs. For boarding, I only welcome one household at a time, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. I know how important it is to feel confident when leaving your cat or dog in someone else’s care. As a doctor and Pet First Aid & CPR certified sitter, I provide attentive, safe, and compassionate care. Whether I’m caring for your companion in my home or yours, I carefully follow feeding routines, medications, exercise requirements, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure. My home is quiet, clean, pet-free, and child-free, providing a peaceful environment for boarding cats.
About: I have grown up with a variety of animals my entire life, all varying in ages and sizes. I currently provide pet sitting and walking in addition to my current full time job for friends and family. This includes looking after my sister’s 11 month old puppy and training where possible. I am currently working full time Monday to Friday in a college. With my weekends free, I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which allow me to pet sit on these days, I can do overnight stays so long as I don’t have an event. With my job I sometimes do overtime which allows me to book off additional days for pet sitting should I need to. I prefer looking after pets in the pet owners home as I believe pets deserve to feel at home and safe, what safer space is there for them than a space they live in. I will provide the upmost care and respect in your home, I am also DBS checked
“Our dog adores Liam, always happy to see him. Liam brings with home many years of living with dogs and academic qualifications, not only is he giving our dog the daytime exercise and attention he needs, but also experience on how to raise and train a puppy. Thank you Liam”
About: Hi, I’m Poppy I treat every dog like they’re my own. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a shy rescue, or a sweet senior, I tailor my care to fit your dog’s unique needs. Here’s what makes me different: ✅ Puppy Know-How I’m experienced with young pups and their routines — from potty breaks to basic obedience and playtime structure. ✅ Senior Dog TLC Older dogs need patience, gentleness and sometimes meds or mobility support. I’m comfortable giving medication taking slower walks, and making sure senior pups stay cozy and calm. ✅ Reliable, Loving, and Communicative I believe in total transparency and trust — you’ll get regular updates, pics and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. ✅ Personalized Attention No rushed walks or overbooked days — I focus on giving your pet the care and attention they deserve. Whether your dog loves long walks, quiet cuddles or playtime I make sure they feel safe, happy and loved every step of the way. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around walks, feeding times, play and check-ins to give each pet the attention they deserve. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon drop-ins or overnight sitting I make sure your pet’s needs come first. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s something I truly enjoy, every single day. I live in a cozy pet-friendly flat with plenty of space for your dog to relax. While I don’t have a garden, I’m located right by a beautiful lake with walking paths so your pup gets plenty of fresh air, exercise and outdoor time throughout the day. We go on regular walks and I make sure each dog has a comfy spot to rest, play and feel at home indoors. Safety, routine and individual attention are my top priorities — your pet will be loved and well cared for every step of the way.

About: I have grown up fostering dogs and since moving out of my parents I have rehomed a cocker spaniel that was in bad shape. I have brought her to the amazing, well mannered, highly trained girl she is now. She gets on with all dogs, though can be nervous. I believe that pets are part of the family and think they deserve to at least use our furniture, we are their whole world after all. I have extensive experience in training puppies and dogs alike and also pick up on any signs, body language and behavioural issues and can address these promptly to ensure a happy time for your pets. My mum is a dog groomer too so I have grown up knowing the ins and outs of many different breeds and temperaments in dogs. Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly, being self employed allows me to take control of my own schedule. I love going for walks and hikes so what’s better than being able to also take pooches for long walks and adventures, as well as nice chilled time on the sofa. I have a large fenced garden and a cocker spaniel girl of my own to keep your furbaby company. We can crate our dog or your dog if needed. My mum is a dog groomer so I have picked up dog first aid from her, as well as tips and tricks to bathing tricky dogs too! I am in a large house so theres room for indoor play and cosy relaxation alike.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life - I have had multiple pets so I have experience - I currently have a French bulldog who my partner cares for when I am dog sitting. As I work from Home, this means your fur babies get 100% attention while I’m there :) I currently work from home and I am in control of my hours so I can fit in the pet care around my job.

“Sharron is a lovely person, very caring and just perfect for our much-cherished Labrador. She made him feel at home and he seemed very happy, which was important to us. Highly recommended.”

“Anastasia did an absolutely fantastic job looking after our puppy. She asked all the right questions beforehand, which really reassured us that he was in great hands, and she kept us updated throughout with messages and photos. It was clear he was very well cared for and happy with her. Thank you so much - we wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

“Jennie and her partner were fantastic with our 2 girly labradoodles While I was on holiday I felt bambi and raven were safe and getting the love they needed Jennie sent me updates every day with photos which really put my mind at ease I would definitely recommend Jennie she is a caring animal sitter who puts your pets needs first We will definitely be contacting Jennie for future holidays 🐶🐶🐶🐶”

“Sally couldn't give better care to my reactive border collie. With all the walks, play at home and her ability to help her calm down and relax I feel fully confident leaving Peppa in her care.”

“Thank you for taking such good care of Bonnie and Mabel. I received regular updates and the girls went out for a few walks too. Bonnie even came home with a new tennis ball :) Many thanks”

“Danielle was fantastic with our doggo Stanley. She was really friendly, easy to communicate with, and clearly great with him. We felt completely at ease leaving Stan in her care and would happily book with her again. Highly recommended!”

“John & Marion are amazing, after meeting Barney and showing him around their home we booked him in for a couple of days and he had a great time. We received pictures and updates which was very comforting after leaving Barney for the first time at 4 and half years old. He is already booked in for a longer stay and the stress of leaving him when we go away has been taken away. Thank you guys & see you soon”

About: Lifelong Dog Owner Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Being a lifelong dog owner has given me years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, needs and behaviours. I understand that every dog is an individual, and I believe patience, consistency, kindness and understanding are at the heart of responsible dog ownership. Experienced Dog Foster Parent My experience as a foster parent has allowed me to care for dogs who have needed additional support, reassurance and stability while preparing for the next chapter of their lives. Fostering has helped me develop a deeper understanding of how dogs can respond differently to new environments and experiences. I have learned the importance of allowing a dog to progress at their own pace, building trust gradually and providing a calm, safe and supportive environment. One of the most rewarding aspects of fostering has been watching dogs grow in confidence and helping them become ready for their forever homes. Animal Charity Committee Member My involvement as an animal charity committee member has given me experience beyond my own dogs and foster care. It has allowed me to contribute to the wider welfare of animals and support the important work carried out by charities and volunteers. Being involved at committee level has also given me an appreciation of the organisation, commitment and teamwork required behind the scenes to support animal welfare, fundraising, awareness and responsible pet ownership. Dog Boutique Owner As the owner of a specialist dog boutique, my passion for dogs is also part of my everyday working life. Meeting dogs and their owners regularly has broadened my experience considerably. I enjoy getting to know individual dogs, understanding what their owners are looking for and helping them choose products that are appropriate for their dog's lifestyle and needs. My aim is to create an environment where both dogs and their humans feel welcome, comfortable and valued. My Approach to Dogs My experience as an owner, foster parent, charity committee member and business owner has taught me that there is never a one-size-fits-all approach to dogs. Every dog has their own personality, history, preferences and way of communicating. I believe in taking the time to understand the individual dog, treating them with kindness and respect, and always putting their welfare first. For me, working with dogs isn't simply an interest — they have been a constant part of my life, and that lifetime of experience continues to shape everything I do today. Looking after your dog would be a structured but flexible part of my day. I would plan morning and evening walks around my existing schedule, making sure your dog is fed, exercised, and given attention at consistent times. Short check-ins during the day would help maintain routine and comfort for the dog, while also fitting around my work or personal commitments. My dogs are very much part of the family, and their happiness, health and wellbeing are at the centre of their daily routine. They have a safe, comfortable and loving home environment where they receive plenty of attention, companionship and affection. I believe dogs thrive when they feel secure and have a consistent routine, so their days include regular feeding, exercise, enrichment, play, rest and quality time with us. Exercise & Enrichment My dogs receive regular exercise appropriate to their individual needs, age and energy levels. Alongside walks and physical exercise, I understand the importance of mental stimulation. Enrichment, play, toys, scent-based activities and interaction are all used to keep them engaged and prevent boredom. Feeding & Treats I take a responsible approach to feeding and choose food and treats with my dogs' individual needs in mind. Fresh drinking water is always available, and treats are given appropriately as part of their overall routine. Health & Wellbeing Their health is taken seriously, with regular veterinary care and attention to preventative healthcare, grooming and general wellbeing. I also pay close attention to changes in behaviour, appetite, mobility or general demeanour, as these can sometimes be early indications that a dog isn't feeling quite themselves. Companionship & Individual Care Most importantly, my dogs receive plenty of companionship. I spend time getting to know their individual personalities, preferences and boundaries rather than expecting every dog to behave or respond in the same way. Their routines are adapted when necessary to suit their individual needs. Whether they want to play, explore, have some quiet time or simply settle down nearby, I believe dogs should be able to feel relaxed and secure in their home. The same principles would apply when caring for someone else's dog. I would respect the routine and instructions provided by their owner while making sure their dog receives the same level of patience, attention, safety and care that I expect for my own.
