“What an amazing dog sitter Helen is. How lucky I was to find her. It was a last-minute decision to leave our Labrador, Flo with Helen when we went on holiday. Fortunately, she had availability. We had not left Flo with anyone apart from family before. When Flo and I met Helen , she put my mind at ease and I could see that our dog was going to be so well cared for. She kindly met with us beforehand and arranged for both dogs to get acquainted, which really put us at ease. Vivien looked after our dog for 10 nights while we were are holiday. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018.
