“Megan has been absolutely fantastic, from initial communication, meet and great and throughout the time she took care of our cat. We have not felt anxious at all whilst away, because Megan had been reassuring us, sending pictures and a very detailed card with the cat’s day. Came back to a very relaxed and looked after cat ! Highly recommend and will book again”

“I would definitely recommend Kim, she’s been doing drop in visits with Penny this week while I’ve been working extra hours. Penny is always well fed, watered and happy when I get home. I’ll continue to use Kim regularly going forward, I’ve also made myself a new friend.”

About: Both myself and my partner Matt have grown up with dogs all our life. Up until August 2025, we also had a Samoyed who unfortunately passed away. Max is a highly energetic dog who loves to play so we’ve got more than enough experience with him alone. Our garden is fully fenced off and quite large so lots of space for your pets to run around! We also live close to Waverley lakes so have lots of great walks nearby! We already walk Max each day so what’s the harm in one more!? We have an 12 year old son who absolutely adores animals so is very excited to join us on this venture and give your pet all the love! We also have a newborn baby. Currently Matt works Monday to Friday so ideally we keep to boarding on the weekend so that we are both available for your pets. I am currently on maternity so I’m happy and available to do drop in visits and walks during the week. Myself & my partner Matt will be looking after your pets so you’ll have both of us to provide that extra care. Feel free to ask any further questions you need! Matt works Monday to Friday whilst I’m currently on maternity leave. Our preference is to board on a weekend as we are both available to look after your pets. I am available for drop in visits throughout the whole week. We have a secure garden and we have a dog to offer your pet lots of play time if wanted! We are happy to crate your dog if needed but you will need to provide the crate.

I’m currently not working so I’m available all day and weekends of daycare, boarding or pet sitting. I’m an outdoorsy person and couple so walks will always be common with any services. I have a ground floor pet friendly apartment with a riverside greenery area just outside common with city suburbs dog walkers for socialising, walks and playtime
“We were happy that Ellie could look after our two kitties again, she was great with them, they were well looked after and Ellie was patient, understanding and asked questions when some of my care directions were not clear (which I appreciate!). She was always on time, shared lovely pictures and updates and we are happy to keep using her services!”

About: I will choose a day with an animal over anything else. I have always had a special spot for them in my heart. In my ideal world, I adopt all the stray dogs and cats in the world. I currently work part time, mainly from home with a flexible routine which enables me to pet care. I have no children, or any other commitments, therefore I am able to be flexible. I live in a house with a nice gated garden with enough room to run and move around. When I’m at their house I take full safety precautions to look after the fur babies and keep them both safe and happy.
About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life and have always had a genuine love for them. My partner and I recently bought our first home together and are raising our own Golden Retriever, Barney. He is friendly, polite with other dogs, happy to share toys, and usually ends playtime curled up on the sofa for a cuddle. I have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs, both crate trained and not, as well as dogs with neurological conditions and severe anxiety. I’m patient, attentive, and always adapt my care to suit each dog’s individual needs. All dogs are welcome in our home, and I look forward to giving your pet a safe, loving, and relaxed place to stay. I’m a freelance a gigging musician/singer while my partner does shifts as a paramedic. Generally if I’m not doing a gig I’m at home with my Dog. I always treat every dog as if they were my own. Safety and routine come first, so I take the time to understand each pet’s needs, habits, and any instructions from their owner before care begins. In my home, dogs are supervised at all times, kept in a calm, clean environment, and never left unattended in unsafe situations. I make sure doors, gates are secure, and I only walk dogs on suitable leads and times unless otherwise agreed. I stick closely to their usual feeding, exercise, and sleep routines to help them feel settled and relaxed. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I respect both the animal and the space. I keep everything as familiar as possible for the dog, follow all care instructions precisely, and ensure the home is left exactly as I found it. I’m attentive to behaviour, body language, and any changes that might indicate stress or illness, and I’ll always communicate promptly with owners if I have any concerns. My aim is for owners to feel completely confident that their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away.

About: Always had animals from being so little, we had a golden Labrador when I was 11 and she was my baby. I now have a cat who I love to bits. Animals are just the best thing on earth! So Monday Tuesday Wednesday isn’t possible for me as I work 7-7 but the rest of the week I don’t work so I can fit around the cat/ dog perfect! So I have a huge garden with fencing around. I do have a cat but she’s really friendly with dogs and people, she can be with cats but that just depends how the other cat is around her.

I currently have two working spaniels who enjoy walking miles every day. Pet first aid certification completed in October 2025. I am available any time Monday to Friday and some times each weekend. I am looking to make this my permanent venture as it is my passion for as long as I can remember. I have a fenced garden for my dogs to enjoy safe and fun outside time. We have an unlimited supply of tennis balls so the fun never ends should one go missing or get destroyed.
“Marie and her partner did an amazing job coming round our house and looking after our 3 cats whilst we were away on holiday. One of our cats is very skittish around new people and even she was comfortable around Marie which means a lot! Marie played with our cats every visit, emptied litter trays, made sure they were fed, and gave them lots of dreamies too! I could not recommend Marie enough!”

Rotherham cat owners share their Rover experiences
We had never had someone we didn’t know come into our home while we were away to look after our cat, so naturally we were a little apprehensive at first. However, we initially spoke with Megan via message, and she then came to our house before we went away so we could meet her and she could meet our cat. I showed Megan everything she needed to know, including food, emptying the litter tray, changing the water, and general care instructions. Based on that first meeting, we felt confident booking her, and she was absolutely amazing with our cat. She sent us photos on every visit, and every instruction we left was carried out to a tee. We will 100% be booking Megan to look after our cat every time we go away. Thank you again.

I would definitely recommend Kim, she’s been doing drop in visits with Penny this week while I’ve been working extra hours. Penny is always well fed, watered and happy when I get home. I’ll continue to use Kim regularly going forward, I’ve also made myself a new friend.
