About: I live in Ripley and work in Matlock Bath so flexible across locations between this radius. I recently joined Rover after previously providing pet care through Cat in a Flat. **Not available during the day on weekends - Primarily available for early morning/evening visits - but can factor in more dependent on my work schedule** I grew up with Maine Coon cats looking after them from their kitten stages right through to their senior years. I understand grooming needs for furry friends, and know that every cat has a unique personality and I always take the time to get to know them in a way that they can feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs. I am confident handling smaller breeds and am familiar with larger dogs through my partner's lurcher. When caring for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and relaxed whilst the owners are away. Before taking on any bookings, I like to learn as much as possible about the pet's individual needs so that I can provide the best care possible. I keep lists of where important items are kept, and times for feeding schedules etc. While I am mainly focused on walks and drop in services for your pets, I can look at offering care in my own home if the dates match with my schedule.

 Step 4: You just need to confirm your booking and then we're all ready to look after your best furry friends! Cass works from home some days and only four days a week so is flexible. Lucy is available nearly every day, just ask. We also have a car so can get about quickly and reliably. “Claire was wonderful with my two older dogs. After a bad experience with another sitter, it was a difficult decision to leave my dogs with somebody else but the risk was well worth it. Claire loved my dogs like her own. I've never returned from somewhere with them being more content and settled afterwards. My house was left spotless too. About: I have five years of personal experience caring for my own dog. He is now 9 years old and lives with my mum in Ukraine, but he was part of my everyday life for five years. Caring for him taught me a lot about a dog’s daily routine, walks, feeding, playtime and the importance of patience and attention. Although I’m new to Rover, caring for my own dog has given me genuine hands-on experience with dogs. During walks, I keep dogs secure and pay close attention to their surroundings and behaviour. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have everything they need, including fresh water, food if requested, and plenty of attention and playtime. I treat every pet with patience, kindness and respect, and I will always contact the owner if I have any concerns or notice anything unusual.

“What can we say?….. SUE-PERB ! Never used a service like this before and felt really nervous about letting someone stay in our home. We needn’t have worried. Sue was lovely and we felt like we’d known her for years almost straight away. Going away for a week and leaving our 16 year old Wheaten Terrier Oz with a stranger, in a strange place was not an option we relished, so we took what we considered a risk and let Sue stay with him and Luna our younger German Shepherd. Great decision. Came home to an immaculate house and two obviously well cared for dogs. They clearly loved Sue too and they’re no fools. Even smelly old Oz had had a bath a spruce up! Shall definitely ask her to help us again!”

About: I have babysat dogs since I was 13 it is my dream job and I hope to make a business one day, I love animals and It makes me so happy and gives me joy in the life doing something I love with the best and most loving animals. I do love my walks too I go very far in some beautiful places and atmospheres I love to give dogs the lovely experience on or off the lead. I also am a freelance photographer on the side of babysitting animals and serving pints, so if you ever want any photos, free of charge let me know and I will take some beautiful photos of your pets, if not that is totally fine, just an extra free service on the side for my portfolio and you can get some free lovely photos of your pets. Babysitting cats does fit really well into my schedule since I do work at a pub too but I do babysitting on the side so I don’t do as many shifts anymore. If you have a cat that is independent that doesn’t like interacting that is lovely and if you have one that loves cuddles and some love that is also perfect so either way I will always make time for them even if I’m at work. I care for pets in anyway the owner wants me to, I follow the rules and requirements any owner has, some cats like to be left alone and not interact and if I that’s the case I will give them the space they need but also try and make them comfortable around me. If a cat wants a lot of attention I will reciprocate that back to them and give them as much love as I can, I will spend time with them and make sure they get fed and they are taken care of as many times as the owner requires me to do.

About: I had 2 beautiful staffies that have now passed on due to old age and I know how hard it is to find good people to look after your pet last minute or even for holidays or days out, I miss having dogs but like to travel so can no longer be a permanent dog owner, but I'm happy to share the love and look after your furry friends In your time of need. I have experience looking after cats and dogs in my adult life and had various other pets as a child (all had fur or feathers) I do not allow animals on my furniture or on/in my bed, these are my non negotiables as I like the spaces I use to relax to be free of dog hair and dirt. This doesn't change the fact that your pet will be loved and fussed (if that's what they like) I prefer dogs to have a crate as my 2 loved theirs and it helps keep boundaries in the home, however, I am flexible with each pets individual care needs, I can sleep downstairs or have your pet sleep in their bed in my bedroom if needed for anxious pets or those used to sleeping in bed with their owners. I would prefer a visit/meet before any official booking to ensure I am the right fit for your pet and vise versa, but I appreciate this won't always be possible, communication is key, as I want to offer the best care possible for your pet. I have experience in crate training, muzzle training and puppy/toilet training. I have also have experience with teaching dogs of all ages new tricks, commands and stimulating their minds so they are more receptive to learning. I have been looking after other people's dogs before for years including family members, friends and a few friends of friends. Ive had dogs stay with me for weeks at a time too. Whatever your needs are give me a shout, I used this service myself for my boy years ago and was very anxious to leave him with a stranger so please ask any questions you may have, I'm an open book. I work from home on certain days of the week, this can change as sometimes I may need to visit clients but this is rare and usually pre planned. Pets will be walked first thing in the morning before work and then again after work, or whatever is required for each individual. It's important and animal is stimulated and gets exercise if they are able. I have a small grass back garden that is fenced off for fresh air and toilet needs, there is a park 2 minutes form my house for walks etc. I don't currently have any pets at home
