Ben has been absolutely brilliant while we were away. We had so many pictures and videos of Alfie and Noah getting up to high jinks and it really put us at ease. He was very communicative throughout and understanding of Alfie’s needs. Alfie looks like he had the best time and was well taken care of.

Chester enjoyed his time with Lone and her young family . I would fully recommend Lone to look after my puppy again in the future. Chester was not stressed or anxious on collection. In fact he was still happy to be there once I came to collect him. Thank you Lone it was a big help today see you soon 😀

First time using Jade and I’ll definitely use Jade again! She made sure to keep me updated with how Winnie was getting on and send me loads of photos which made my heart melt, Winnie had the bestest day to the point where she didn’t even want to get back in the car! Jade looks after your pup like she’s her own and it’s amazing to have that when it’s needed!

We approached Lynda to see if she had availability to look after our cat, Chester, so that we could book a much-needed last-minute holiday. Despite the short notice, Lynda was incredibly accommodating and quickly arranged to visit us, meet Chester, collect the key, and familiarise herself with his routine. From start to finish, the service was flawless. Lynda kept in touch before, during, and after our holiday, providing regular updates and, at our request, daily photos of Chester. As Chester is our 13-year-old son’s beloved cat, this gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Lynda visited twice a day, as requested, and took excellent care of him. She ensured he was fed and watered, spent time playing with him, changed his litter tray, and even took care of small details such as switching the lights on and off. It is clear that Lynda genuinely loves cats. Chester warmed to her immediately and remained happy, relaxed, and settled throughout our holiday. Thank you, Lynda, for taking such wonderful care of Chester. We wouldn’t hesitate to use your services again in the future and highly recommend you to others.

About: Previously I held a canine first aid qualification, in which I was the youngest on the course to complete it. Using the money earned from rover and my other little jobs on the side of university, I will advance my qualification and hopefully expand broader than just canine and go to feline, small animal etc! I am a final year university student so my contact hours are low, and I also have a car to commute to jobs. I work at IKEA part time so I’m pretty flexible and can see clients regularly Caring for pets in an owners home means not only respecting the pet’s personal space but the space of the owner too. I have plenty of knowledge in the area of canine body language and I understand the difference between a submission and a pup asking for a belly rub - important to keep me and the pup safe and happy. Respecting the owners space is vital, growing up with someone who has OCD means that I understand deeply how to respect when people don’t want certain things left in certain areas, and I know to respect which areas I’m welcome to and those I am not.

About: Here’s what I can offer:
 🐾Home visits & house sitting
🐾Dog walking & playtime
 🐾Feeding & fresh water
🐾Medication administration (oral & injectable)
 🐾Regular photo and message updates
🐾Loads of cuddles Your pet’s happiness and well-being are always my top priority! As a final-year Veterinary Nursing student, I do a lot of my university work from home, so I really enjoy the company of pets throughout the day. I only attend classes two days a week and have large gaps in my schedule, which gives me plenty of time to provide care and attention. During holidays and study breaks, I’m even more flexible, making pet care a natural and fulfilling part of my routine. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort by tailoring each visit to the pet’s usual routine and personality. I offer house sitting in the pet owner’s home, which helps reduce stress and anxiety, especially for more nervous pets. I also provide free pop-in visits before the booking to help anxious dogs feel more at ease. With my veterinary training, I confidently manage pets with medical needs, including oral and injectable medications. I always maintain a clean, secure environment and provide regular updates so owners feel reassured while away.

I was very nervous about leaving Tucker with anyone, as he is a very anxious dog around both people and other dogs. From the very beginning, Chloe’s communication was fantastic. She was happy to meet beforehand and do a meet-and-greet so Tucker could be introduced in a calm, relaxed way, which immediately put me at ease. The way Chloe interacted with Tucker made me feel comfortable straight away. When we dropped him off yesterday, her communication continued to be excellent. She kept me updated on how he was settling in and sent regular updates throughout the day, including lots of photos, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be using Chloe again. In fact, I’ve already booked her for next month and plan to continue doing so to help Tucker build familiarity and confidence. We’ll then be introducing overnight stays, which will make such a difference for us as a family, knowing we finally have a reliable and caring person to look after him when needed.

About: Hi, I'm Emma! I'm a fully licensed and insured pet carer with a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care & Management, as well as Pet First Aid certification. Caring for animals has always been my passion. I grew up on my family's farm, where I helped hand-rear lambs, calves, and foals. From there, I went on to work with horses, greyhounds, and hunting hounds, giving me experience with animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I started my pet care business because I struggled to find someone I truly trusted to look after my beloved pug, Teddy. That experience inspired me to create the kind of service I was looking for myself—a safe, loving, home-from-home environment where every pet is treated like one of the family. Whether your dog loves long walks, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having company throughout the day, I'll make sure they receive the care, attention, and affection they deserve. My priority is ensuring both you and your pet feel completely comfortable and confident while you're apart. Pet care at In The Doghouse is around the clock! Our bed is your bed, your pets needs is my priority, they're not just your family they're mine too. I have a fully secure good sized garden with plenty of toys. Double locked gate, with CCTV. Dog cam is also used inside the home.

For a first time ever at daycare I'm really pleased. Obi is a nervous little guy sometimes and Dilma and co. really helped Obi feel comfortable. He even had a little nap which I was surprised at. I didn't know if he was going to be able to settle in a strange environment. Will definitely be coming back for another play day x

About: Dog lady, love dogs! Owner and carer of dogs for 20yrs. Recently studying dog behaviour course and have clients for both dog walking and behaviour therapy. Kisses and cuddles a plenty!! I’m a (young) retired teacher. Retrained as a dog behaviourist. I have two primary age children and need to be around for school pickup and drop off but I’m flexible with the rest of my time. I’m available Monday to Friday I have a fenced garden and two crazy fun pupsters to play with your fur baby if they enjoy play. Or an 11 yr old guy who likes to snooze if that’s what your little one prefers. Alternatively, for dog walking I have a dog mobile that I can pick up and safely collect and return your furry family member. I never walk more than three dogs at a time and by arrangement can walk separately if needed. I’m calm and patient and love my time with four legged friends so, their health and safety is paramount to me at all times 😍

About: I've taken care of dogs for my entire life. From alsatians to chihuahuas I've looked after them all and know that no two dogs are the same but all dogs deserve love and attention. I'm currently working part time and from home so I have plenty of time for cuddles and snuggles. Having your companion will be my excuse to move between online meetings meaning we are looking after each other. I have a fenced garden and live on a very quiet estate with country walks and fields less than 5 minutes away. We have an open plan living room so even in the house there is room to wander.

About: I had 2 beautiful staffies that have now passed on due to old age and I know how hard it is to find good people to look after your pet last minute or even for holidays or days out, I miss having dogs but like to travel so can no longer be a permanent dog owner, but I'm happy to share the love and look after your furry friends In your time of need. I have experience looking after cats and dogs in my adult life and had various other pets as a child (all had fur or feathers) I do not allow animals on my furniture or on/in my bed, these are my non negotiables as I like the spaces I use to relax to be free of dog hair and dirt. This doesn't change the fact that your pet will be loved and fussed (if that's what they like) I prefer dogs to have a crate as my 2 loved theirs and it helps keep boundaries in the home, however, I am flexible with each pets individual care needs, I can sleep downstairs or have your pet sleep in their bed in my bedroom if needed for anxious pets or those used to sleeping in bed with their owners. I would prefer a visit/meet before any official booking to ensure I am the right fit for your pet and vise versa, but I appreciate this won't always be possible, communication is key, as I want to offer the best care possible for your pet. I have experience in crate training, muzzle training and puppy/toilet training and have looked after other people's dogs before unofficially for neighbours and family member etc. I used this service myself for my boy years ago and was very anxious to leave him with a stranger so please ask any questions you may have, I'm an open book. I work from home on certain days of the week, this can change as sometimes I may need to visit clients but this is rare and usually pre planned. Pets will be walked first thing in the morning before work and then again after work, or whatever is required for each individual. It's important and animal is stimulated and gets exercise if they are able. I have a small grass back garden that is fenced off for fresh air and toilet needs, there is a park 2 minutes form my house for walks etc. I don't currently have any pets at home

About: I have been passionate about dogs my entire life, having grown up with them and always surrounded by their wonderful company. I currently have two dogs of my own, who are truly part of the family, and I extend that same love and care to every dog that stays with me. I have extensive experience working with dogs, including volunteering at my local dog grooming parlour, where I handled a variety of breeds and sizes. For the past 6 years, I have been running my own dog boarding and daycare business, and I absolutely love it! My home is a semi-detached house with a spacious, fully enclosed grassed garden, secured with 6ft fencing for safety. Right across the street, there is a large playing field where I take dogs for walks at least twice a day—this is always included in the service. I take great pride in providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog in my care, ensuring they feel right at home. As I run my dog boarding and daycare business full-time from home. My entire week is dedicated to ensuring that every dog in my care feels safe, comfortable, and well-loved. Each day includes plenty of playtime, walks, and one-on-one attention, with at least two walks a day on the large playing field just across from my home. I also make sure to follow each dog’s individual routine, whether that’s meal times, training, or quiet rest periods. Because I’m home all week, I can provide constant supervision and companionship, creating a stress-free and enjoyable environment for every dog that stays with me. Their well-being and happiness are always my top priority! In my home, dogs enjoy a secure, spacious setting with a fully enclosed garden for play and exercise. Each day includes plenty of supervised socialization, enrichment activities, and at least two daily walks. I tailor my care to each dog's individual needs, following their usual feeding, exercise, and rest routines to help them feel at ease.

About: Hi! I’m Jade, a huge animal lover who has grown up around dogs and horses my whole life. I offer fun, safe walks and loving home-from-home stays. Dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention and cuddles, and I always treat them like part of the family. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes, especially larger breeds, and I’m used to strong, energetic dogs who love a good adventure. At home your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving environment with my friendly dog Reggie. I also have a young 5 year old son who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them. Whether it’s a walk, daycare or a sleepover, my goal is always the same — a happy, safe and tired pup by the end of the day! My day starts early with breakfast around 8am before the school run. I do the school drop-off at 8:30am and I’m back home by 9am ready for morning walks and pet care. Late mornings are usually spent out walking, playing and giving dogs plenty of exercise and attention. Lunch is around 12pm followed by more walks or outdoor time, depending on the dog’s needs. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house during the day which means dogs are rarely left alone. In the afternoon and early evening we head out for more walks before dinner around 5:30pm. Evenings are relaxed with cuddles, settling down and a final toilet break or short walk before bedtime around 10pm. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and included in our daily routine Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and personalities and always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, behaviour and needs. Walks are carried out safely using secure leads and suitable walking routes, with plenty of exercise, attention and fresh water. At home, dogs have space to relax and settle wherever they feel comfortable. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house, meaning dogs are rarely left alone. I also have a friendly dog at home who is used to being around other dogs. About: I’ve spent my life in a home where there was always a dog or cat around, and I honestly can’t imagine it any other way. For me, pet care is just about making sure your animals feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I’ve had two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, but I am more than happy to walk and care for any breed of dog, big or small. I also have plenty of experience with moggies and am equally open to looking after cats of all kinds. I’ve learned over the years that every animal is different, and I’m happy to follow their lead-whether they want to be active and play or just be left to nap in peace. I’m a local here in Mansfield and mostly just want to provide the kind of reliable care I’d want for my own pets. I’ll make sure they stay in their routine, keep everything clean, and send you a quick photo so you know they’re doing fine. Since I work a hybrid schedule, I have a lot of flexibility during the week. I can easily pop in for morning or evening drop-in visits to make sure your cats or dogs are fed and settled according to their usual routine. On the weekends, I’m available for dog walks at any time that suits you. I’m happy to work around your pet’s specific schedule so their day stays as normal as possible while you’re away. I know it’s a big deal to trust someone with your home and your pets, so I make safety my top priority. When I’m dropping in, I’m careful about more than just the pet; I always double-check that doors are locked, alarms are set, and windows are secure before I leave. I grew up in a household where the pets were part of the family, so I’m naturally mindful of things like keeping 'human food' out of reach and making sure gates are properly latched. I’ll always treat your home with total respect, keep everything tidy, and stick strictly to the security routines you have in place so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

Tom met Barley for the first time today. We were a little anxious as Barley is an energetic, young cockapoo who has never been walked by anyone other than ourselves. Tom arrived early. Discussed Barley’s needs and then took him on an amazing walk. Tom was professional, polite and showed a natural rapport with dogs. Barley returned happy and tired. We have no hesitation in recommending Tom and hope in the near future to book boarding with him. Many thanks Tom.

I’ve looked after puppies, golden oldies, and large groups of dogs. I love teaching dogs new tricks, going for nice walks and cuddling on the sofa to watch films. I’m currently working part time and am looking to dedicate the rest of my time to looking after dogs! I have a decent sized garden which backs onto a park. I live with my boyfriend and we both love dogs. My step daughters are often here at the weekend so any dogs coming to stay need to be safe around children. I’m very easy-going and laid back. Happy to follow your instructions in your home, but equally more than able to use my own initiative. I love playing with pups and being out about, also love sitting in nice cafes and parks.

I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort by tailoring each visit to the pet’s usual routine and personality. I offer house sitting in the pet owner’s home, which helps reduce stress and anxiety, especially for more nervous pets. From daily walks to comfortable overnight stays, your dog’s safety, happiness, and routine always come first. Routines are tailored to every individual dog's need. We are a calm, pet-loving household with additional DBS-checked adults at home, which means visiting dogs always have someone nearby to help them feel secure and settled. Mornings begin with a full one-hour woodland walk through Blidworth or Samson Woods, where dogs can stretch their legs, enjoy off-lead time (where safe), and take in the sights and scents of nature. (Or longer if required. Shorter walks are also offered for those who prefer). In the afternoons, we head to Bestwood Country Park and Mill Lakes for another hour-long walk, ensuring plenty of variety and stimulation throughout the day. (Again, able to adapt to each dog's needs as we want to match your routine as closely as possible). Back at home, dogs enjoy supervised garden playtime in our secure, spacious garden, with areas for games, rest, and relaxation. As well as offering shorter walks for dogs who prefer a gentler pace, I am able to give individual walks for those who are more comfortable without canine company. Being a dog trainer too, I can help with lead training and canine eticacy when out on walks as part of the service (no extra fee). I’m very adaptable and always happy to tailor feeding and exercise routines around each dog’s individual needs, keeping their day as close to their home routine as possible. Our family home provides a calm, welcoming environment with plenty of space for dogs to settle comfortably — whether that’s relaxing after a long walk or curling up for a nap. Every dog in my care is treated as part of the family, with their safety, comfort, and happiness at the heart of everything I do. Providing professional, full-time dog care isn’t just what I do — it’s what I’m passionate about. Every aspect of my home and routine has been designed with dogs’ safety, comfort, and wellbeing in mind. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and operate this as my full-time profession, giving owners complete confidence that their dogs are cared for to the highest standards at all times. Dogs are never left alone, I provide 24/7 supervision whilst in my care so your dog always has someone with them and I maintain clear routines to ensure each one feels secure, calm, and happy during their stay. My partner also works from home as well as my adult son, both dbs checked also and animal lovers. They're able to answer the door etc so that my full attention is with the dogs I care for. Our large, family home offers a safe, relaxed, and spacious environment where dogs can rest comfortably between walks. The property has a fully enclosed spacious garden with a dedicated dog toilet area and artificial grass on the flat — perfect for playtime and fresh air in all weather, without muddy paws. Every dog is supervised, and I take time to get to know their individual personalities, preferences, and routines. Whether a dog needs quiet space, structured play, or extra reassurance, I adapt the environment to suit them. My gentle Labrador, Molly, also helps new dogs settle in, creating a calm, friendly atmosphere where every dog feels part of the family. At Molly and Friends, safety, trust, and genuine care are at the heart of everything I do — offering a professional, home-from-home experience where your dog’s wellbeing always comes first.

About: I have babysat dogs since I was 13 it is my dream job and I hope to make a business one day, I love animals and It makes me so happy and gives me joy in the life doing something I love with the best and most loving animals. I do love my walks too I go very far in some beautiful places and atmospheres I love to give dogs the lovely experience on or off the lead. I also am a freelance photographer on the side of babysitting animals and serving pints, so if you ever want any photos, free of charge let me know and I will take some beautiful photos of your pets, if not that is totally fine, just an extra free service on the side for my portfolio and you can get some free lovely photos of your pets. Babysitting cats does fit really well into my schedule since I do work at a pub too but I do babysitting on the side so I don’t do as many shifts anymore. If you have a cat that is independent that doesn’t like interacting that is lovely and if you have one that loves cuddles and some love that is also perfect so either way I will always make time for them even if I’m at work. I care for pets in anyway the owner wants me to, I follow the rules and requirements any owner has, some cats like to be left alone and not interact and if I that’s the case I will give them the space they need but also try and make them comfortable around me. If a cat wants a lot of attention I will reciprocate that back to them and give them as much love as I can, I will spend time with them and make sure they get fed and they are taken care of as many times as the owner requires me to do.

Karolina looked after our Labrador Max while we went on holiday. Max is only 1 and still very active and Karolina took brilliant care of him. We got regular updates of him playing with other dogs and having his walks. We could tell Max had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend.

About: As a professional trainer, I have a vast experience working with more difficult dogs- and specialise in aiding reactivity cases gaining confidence and freedom within the world. I have a fully set up dog van, that is inclusive of a built in crash tested crate system and an air conditioning unit that is set up to run when the van is off for warmer months. I am able to provide a variety of enriching walks, both solo and grouped, walking in differing environments each session alongside working on training skills to truly fulfil your dog mentally and physically. With a team of professional walkers under myself, we will always have access to cover should illness, personal issues, or otherwise occur. We also offer day trips to further afar places, like the beach and the peak district. Our priority when walking your dog, especially for owners who are struggling with behavioural issues, is the community we have built around us. This includes full access to our group chat; group training sessions; and a supportive family-like environment open to all our clients. My day to day job is dog care and training, so I am able to provide round the clock care for pets. I also have a small, professional team should anything happen- meaning you will never be left without a walker (even if it’s Christmas Day!). I have a professional built crash and roll tested crate system set in my van, alongside an airconditioning unit that runs even when the engine is off in the back, to ensure the dogs are always safe and happy when travelling.

About: Your dog will be apart of our loving family with lots of cuddles, playtime, walks & treats (if aloud by owner) When we look after your beloved dog we will ensure their needs are put first. Unfortunately, we lost our bulldog Bonnie recently and this has given us the passion and desire to look after other peoples dogs. We always found this difficult and a challenge knowing who to trust with Bonnie and my goal is to help others feel at ease. We as a family have experience being around a variety of breeds including young & old dogs. I currently work full-time in the community, however I work from home majority of the working week. Also, if I am not home my mum is at home as she only works part-time. At the weekends everybody in the house is home. Your dog will not be on their own longer than a couple of hours at a time. I have a private secure back garden where dogs will have access to safely and securely. I will care for your dog as if they were my own. I am honest, trustworthy and have a genuine love & care for animals especially dogs!
