“Declan was kind enough to attend for a meet and greet prior to the booking we made. Communications were exemplary at all times. We organised a face-to-face handover on the day and Declan arrived punctually for this. Bruce was very enthusiastic and seemed to have a nice time with Declan. When we returned to the house after the dog sit everything was in place and in order and Declan had left a report sheet for Bruce with a little Polaroid picture of Bruce in the corner, very cute. Declan’s girlfriend had accompanied him on the House/Dogsit and they also left us some homemade carrot cake in the fridge for our return 😋. Would definitely recommend :)”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my day-to-day life. I currently have a young greyhound puppy of my own, which has given me plenty of recent hands-on experience with puppy care, including toilet training, lead walking, building confidence, establishing routines and positive reinforcement. My family dog is now a senior, so I also have experience caring for older dogs and understand that they can require a gentler pace, extra patience and care tailored to their individual needs. I’m also a cat owner to my 3-year-old cat, Spot, who I’ve had since he was a kitten. This has given me experience with both kitten and adult cat care, so I’m very comfortable looking after both dogs and cats. Having pets of my own means I completely understand how important it is to trust the person caring for them. I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and allow nervous or shy pets to approach me at their own pace. On walks, I’ll keep dogs securely on lead unless specifically agreed otherwise and pay close attention to their behaviour, surroundings and interactions with other dogs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy and receiving plenty of attention and affection while they’re with me. 🐾

About: I have 4 cats at my parents home and my family that I stay with in South Africa have 5 dogs I have lived in these homes up until recently so I’m used to looking after many crazy animals at once! Also, i have done some experience cat sitting and dog sitting for other people for multiple nights. I know how to inject diabetic cats, give specific food to pets and dealing with all ages from pups / kittens to senior animals. Years of experience is hard to define as technically I have 14 years experience of looking after pets but only counting external I have about 3-4 years. I am a full time student and part time online tutor. Both of these are very flexible and don’t take up much time in my week meaning I always have time for your furry friends. The tutoring is online as well so I can work from anywhere meaning even if when you need me coincides with my work I can do both at once, my students absolutely love saying hi to the different pets I look after. I will spend a lot of the time playing or cuddling with your pet or just keeping an eye on them, I will always ask for any risks with the pet e.g. you’ve got a curious cat who likes the jump out of windows I will always make sure the windows are shut (my cats do this all the time). I can easily control dogs on a lead or if necessary crate them.

About: I live on my own and own a very active Cockerpoo. I've looked after and taken friends and family dogs for around 10 years. I live next to woodthorpe Park which is ideal for your dog to have a adventure day ! If it's a case of me looking after your dog/dogs on there own then that is totally fine. I have family that would be more than happy looking after ziggy for a while if you dog isn't comfortable around others. I currently work part-time so, so have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I am available during most of the week and also weekends I have a fenced garden which has lots of grass and greenery to run around in. I also live close to woodthorpe park which is ideal for your dog to run around and have adventures.
