About: We love looking after dogs and want to help your pet feel at home with me while you’re away doing important human things. Please have a look at our pictures to see the fun some of our previous boarders have had including miniature rail way, hot tub, poker and dancing. Your pet will be part of our family when they are with us and we will keep them in mind when we plan activities so that they get to join in. We live close to a big green park for walks We love to take dogs with to our activities like going to the pub, the river, paddling pool and for days out. If your pet is up for it of course. I live with my partner who will also be involved in giving your pet love, care and attention. We have a big house and a lovely enclosed front and back garden for them to enjoy and once we are all worn out they can join us chilling in the sofa If you have a bigger dog than our set criteria we are happy to have them as long as they are well behaved and able to sleep downstairs alone. If your dates don’t align with our calendar please still ask and we can see if there is anything we can do. We do take up to 2 dogs at a time and have some lovely regulars. We also make sure it’s a suitable pair though, so for example we don’t take 2 un neutered dogs at once. I’m understanding if different schedules and will fit around theirs if needed. There are quiet spaces available in the house. I do a mixture of work from home and working from an office that’s only a few streets away. And partner does shifts so we can ensure someone is home 24/7. We can do any length and frequency of walk desired and dogs on longer stays will be taken for walks and days further away (Whisby being one of our favourite). I have an enclosed back garden and live in a quiet street. There are no other pets here and it’s a big house for them to have their own space and move around when home. The basics of my job as a nurse is making sure basic needs are met like eating, sleeping, weeing, popping and feeling content, well and happy and I want to make sure this happens for your pet to…. So be prepared to answer questions about their pooping routine! I have done the NarpsUK free dog sitting course and am currently undertaking the full course which includes being educated about dog/cat first aid, breeds and healthcare.

“Orissa house-sat our older Welsh Springer Spaniel for two nights. We were impressed right from the start. At the meet-and-greet it was obvious that Orissa was extremely organised, asking lots of questions and taking lots of notes. What was equally reassuring was her calm confidence when dealing with Brodie. Brodie became lame shortly before the booking and we had to adjust his daily routine to restricted exercise and provide regular medication. Orissa took the late changes in her stride and made sure that he didn't overdo his physical activities yet was mentally stimulated enough to not become restless overnight (something we don't always manage ourselves). Brodie clearly loved having Orissa around - he looked very happy in every one of the many photos she sent and the first evening we were back spent time looking for her to join us on his evening walk. And on top of keeping Brodie happy, when we returned home the house was spotless!”

“Hollie was great with Look Look! Hollie comes of as quiet and calm. She understood what needs to be done through the document we sent her and had taken care of Look Look well. I am sure her experience working in Southampton city farm also played a role. Her extended long stay discount is a bargain, we felt the need to tip her well as she even washed the sheets after her 5 nights stay with our dog! The house was kept clean and just like how we left it. The best proof of great service is when she left, the dog was still wanting to play with her and was sad that she is leaving. She truly loves animals and we will definitely recommend her.”

About: I have had dogs all my life and looked after cats, rodents, chickens and farm animals like pigs, donkeys, horses and goats. I have worked with horses since I was 16 and have done lots of house sitting before. I love being around animals, especially while I am studying at uni and missing my dog! I am currently studying at university, so I can fit in visits or walks between my schedule or housesit with the ability to pop out for lectures. Unfortunately I can’t board animals but happy to spend time with animals in their home. I love walking so always up for giving a dog a decent walk. And generally love to be around animals and giving them the attention they need!

About: I've grown up with all kinds of animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, birds, fish, and turtles. I also have experience with looking after rescue animals and a senior dog, and understand the extra attention that they may sometimes require. I'm currently completely free for the foreseeable future and am happy to come and look after your animals whenever you want! I'd love to spend all of that free time with animals! Please let me know if your pet has any specific needs, Im happy to provide. For example, specific feeding times, allergies, medication (and how to administer), walk lengths, or anything else that I might need to know. I'm very flexible as at the moment this is my only job and I'm happy to work around your requirements! I will always stay in contact with you as often as you would like and will update you with calls, photos, and texts depending on what you would prefer.

About: I’ve always had pets around me whilst I was growing up. I am experienced with epileptic dogs also as my “sister” (a French bulldog) has epilepsy and understand the importance of care and routine. I am a part time fully remote worker so am at home a lot. The school that my children attend is only a 5 minute walk away so not away from home long at all. I have a fully fenced and secure garden. We will be happy for any pet to join us on the sofa for cuddles. The upstairs is gated to help prevent any injuries.
