“100% recommend Andreia. We were worried about leaving our 6 year old, nervous and reactive Collie for a night, but Andreia was great with him. He was walked, fed and played with. Andreia sent us lots of photos and videos and we could relax knowing he was a very happy boy. So much so, we have put two more bookings in the diary😊”

About: I have a special love for animals, especially cats and dogs and they seem to like my caring personality. My own beloved cat recently crossed the rainbow bridge aged 19, allowing me to begin housesitting for your own lovely pets. I work on a freelance basis from my laptop, so am flexible for house sits, both during the week and most weekends. I have a 25-mile radius set, but will consider greater distances for more than 1 night. After a free initial meet & greet (or video chat if long distance), I will provide your furry family members with all the care, love and attention that they are used to - and in their own home. This naturally includes feeding, fuss & play, brushing, cleaning pet dishes and litter trays and spending quality time with them (I love a lap cat!). If walking your dog I'd be very careful to follow your instructions and would keep them on the lead for safety. I will travel by car so am happy to bring my own bedding and food (no problem if it needs to be vegetarian or vegan). I am DBS checked and will respect your privacy and any out of bounds areas, so please be reassured that your house and belongings will be safe and respected.

About: With years of hands-on dog care experience and a genuine passion for animal wellbeing, I provide more than just walks — I create safe, engaging, and personalised experiences for every dog I care for. I’m known for being reliable, attentive, and calm with dogs of most sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether it’s an energetic adventure walk, gentle support for older dogs, or helping anxious pets feel comfortable and secure, I treat every dog like my own. Owners trust me for consistent communication, punctuality, and the peace of mind that their pets are receiving loving, professional care every step of the way. As a university student with a flexible timetable, I am available throughout weekdays to provide reliable and convenient dog walking services that fit around your schedule. My lighter study hours allow us to offer daytime walks, last-minute availability, and consistent care when many owners are busy at work. Whether your dog needs a quick lunchtime walk or a longer daytime adventure, I am committed to giving them the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I care for my dogs with love, patience, and constant attention, making sure their safety, happiness, and wellbeing always come first. From regular walks and playtime to creating a calm and comfortable environment, we treat our dogs like part of the family. I understand how important trust is when it comes to pet care, which is why i give every dog the same level of care, affection, and attention I would expect for my own.
About: We love looking after dogs and want to help your pet feel at home with me while you’re away doing important human things. Your pet will be part of our family when they are with us. I have common sence, empathy and intuition. I love a cuddle and am a human nurse 😍 I live close to a big green park for walks We love to take dogs with to our activities like going to the pub, the river, paddling pool and for days out. If your pet is up for it of course. We recently took a pet on the miniature railway! I live with my partner who will also be involved in giving your pet love and attention. We have a big house and a lovely enclosed garden for them to enjoy and once we are all worn out they can join us chilling in the sofa If you have a bigger dog than our set criteria we are happy to have them as long as they are well behaved and able to sleep downstairs alone. I am a human nurse so hygiene is big on my agenda so I do lots of cleaning between customers. I’m understanding if different schedules and will fit around theirs if needed. There are quiet spaces available in the house. I do a mixture of work from home and working from an office that’s only a few streets away. And partner does shifts so we can ensure someone is home 24/7. We can do any length and frequency of walk desired and dogs on longer stays will be taken for walks and days further away (Whisby being one of our favourite). I have an enclosed back garden and live in a quiet street. There are no other pets here and it’s a big house for them to have their own space and move around when home. The basics of my job as a nurse is making sure basic needs are met like eating, sleeping, weeing, popping and feeling content, well and happy and I want to make sure this happens for your pet to…. So be prepared to answer questions about their pooping routine! I have done the NarpsUK free dog sitting course and am currently undertaking the full course which includes being educated about dog/cat first aid, breeds and healthcare.
About: Hi! I’m Eva, a 21-year-old Biomedical student currently on placement. My studies can be pretty full-on, so spending time with animals is honestly one of the best ways for me to unwind. I’ve grown up around pets and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. At home I have quite the little animal family myself two beautiful dogs, four cats, and three guinea pigs so I’m very used to different personalities, routines, and care needs. From energetic walks and playtime to quiet cuddles and feeding routines, I’m comfortable with it all. I’m a patient, responsible, and caring sitter who understands how important it is to know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away. I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and proper care. If you’re looking for someone reliable who genuinely loves animals, I’d be more than happy to help look after your furry family member! Pet care fits really well into my routine, especially towards the end of the week. I’m typically available on Friday evenings as well as during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. This means I can give pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and care without being rushed. As a student, I’m very organised with my time and I enjoy spending my free time around animals, so caring for pets over the weekend works perfectly for me. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled while you’re away. I always aim to care for pets in a way that keeps them comfortable, happy and as close to their normal routine as possible. In a pet owner’s home, I would make sure to follow the instructions provided carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime and any specific care needs. I understand that pets feel safest in familiar environments, so I take the time to help them feel relaxed and well looked after. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise depending on their needs and personality. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. As someone who has multiple pets of my own including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs I’m very used to different routines, temperaments and care requirements. I always treat every pet as if they were my own and make their wellbeing my top priority.
“Bik did a wonderful job watching our dog over a long weekend. She made sure he got lots of exercise and provided us with lots of pictures while we were away. We were able to enjoy our holiday to the fullest as we knew our fur baby was safe and happy.”

“Evie did a great job handling my pack. Each of my 3 dogs have specific needs and Evie took this all in her stride. Particularly impressed with how Evie handled my reactive Samoyed- he’s a strong, highly strung dog- but Evie wasn’t phased. Thank you Evie. Look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Dogs were well looked after and loved their time with Deborah many thanks to Ed as well he looked after Coco Pops and Ludwig no problems at all Thanks Debbie and Ef”

“Katrin is amazing! She is so friendly and understanding when it comes to my nervous cockapoo Daisy. She puts my mind to ease as I have never left Daisy with anyone before . Although Daisy is nervous of new people she warmed up to Katrin very fast. Cannot recommend enough! Will be booking Katrina whenever I need a dog sitter for Daisy :)”

“Christa is absolutely wonderful! She stayed at my home to pet sit for my dog, Pearl, who is relatively particular, and Pearl warmed to Christa very quickly. Christa is an excellent communicator, attentive to detail, organized, and a generally pleasant, kind, compassionate, and considerate individual. I felt very comfortable knowing that Christa was caring for my dog in my home. I recommendation Christa without hesitation! Thank you, Christa! You are the best!”

“Amanda is a wonderful sitter! She is kind and friendly, and took excellent care of Charlie at my home. She shared updates and photos and I felt completely at ease while I was away. 100% recommend! Thank you Amanda x”

About: Hi, I’m Anna! I have been surrounded by animals my whole life. Growing up, our house was always full of pets. We always had family dogs, plus a huge mix of small furry creatures and reptiles too. Because of that, I am completely comfortable looking after all kinds of pets and understanding their different quirks and personalities. I am currently a PhD student, which means I am very reliable, quiet, and trustworthy. If you need in house pet sitting, I am the perfect fit because my studies allow me to spend plenty of time at your home keeping your pets company and making sure their routine stays exactly the same. Whether your dog needs a long walk to burn off energy, or you have a small pet or reptile that needs specific feeding and cage care, I can help. I love being outdoors and walking, so your dogs will get plenty of quality time outside, and back at your house I will make sure all your instructions are followed perfectly. I will send plenty of updates and photos while you are gone so you know everything is going well. I look forward to meeting your pets! Because of my schedule as a PhD student, my routine is incredibly flexible. I do a lot of my work from a desk, which means I can easily base myself at your house for day care or overnight stays, providing plenty of consistent company and supervision. My routine allows me to easily fit in morning, midday, or evening walks depending on what your dog is used to. Whether you need regular weekday check ins or full time company over the weekend, I can adapt my time to match your pet's normal schedule perfectly. Safety and trust are my main priorities when looking after your pets and your home. When I am house sitting, I treat your space with complete respect, keeping everything clean, tidy, and secure. I make sure to strictly follow your instructions regarding feeding times, routines, and where your pets are allowed to go in the house. I know that every animal is different, so I always take a patient approach. I pay close attention to their body language to make sure they are comfortable and happy, never forcing them into interactions if they are feeling shy or overwhelmed. For walks, I keep dogs on a lead unless we are in a designated safe area and you have explicitly told me they have excellent recall. Before leaving your house, I always double check that doors and gates are properly locked, and that small pets or reptiles are completely secure in their enclosures. You will get regular photo updates throughout the stay so you can see exactly how relaxed and well cared for they are.
About: I’ve had a family dog since I was 15. I have previously worked with a professional dog walker. Friends, family and his clients have relied on me to walk, feed, administer medication and keep their pets company and happy. I’ve worked with all different breeds of dogs. As a university student I have plenty of free time to dedicate to looking after your pets and keeping them happy. Anytime during the day or on a night. I try to stick to the pets usual schedule as not to discomfort them too much with their family being away. Adequate walks for the dogs needs but also enough affection and chill time to ensure they’re happy and comfortable.
“Christoper provided a great service looking after our doggies. He was greeted with a poorly dog and coped beyond what we had expected. Daily updates were much appreciated and kept us at ease. I hope he enjoyed.”

Newark pet owners share their Rover experiences
Ava was absolutely fantastic. Both our cats were happy (a difficult task). They were well looked after and the house was left in a lovely way, too. Ava was really easy to communicate with and is such a lovely person, too. We would very happily have Ava house sit for us again!

Lauren has been our regular sitter for a while now, and Max and Mitzi absolutely adore her! 🐶🐶 She’s reliable, caring, and always goes the extra mile to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. We can tell how much she genuinely loves animals — they get so excited every time she arrives! It gives us complete peace of mind knowing our pups are in such safe and loving hands. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

So far Emma has been looking after our elderly labrador twice for a few days and overnight. We couldn’t praise her enough. Her communication prior to the stay has been excellent. Our dog has been very happy , relaxed with Emma. He has been given plenty of attention and love. We have received updates regularly ensuring peace of mind while away. We will definitely keep booking Emma when available.

We are so grateful to Pamela for taking such good care of our dog, Wendy. It was Wendy’s first stay with Pamela and she can be a bit nervous around new people. But Pamela was very patient and kind with her, which we very much appreciate. Pamela kept us updated with Wendy’s visit with lots of pictures and was very responsive throughout the booking process. Wendy is looking forward to her next stay 😊

Ashleigh was a great dog sitter and chicken sitter. We could not recommend her more. Our dog Fergie is nervous of new people, and Ashleigh was very patient and attentive to Fergie's needs, prioritising extra meet and greets before the sit to get to know him. During the sit it looked like Fergie had found a new best mate in Ashleigh. The photos she sent showed Fergie adored Ashleigh. Ashleigh was very communicative and always kept us up to date and really took special care of Fergie who is not an easy dog. Ashleigh also looked after our chickens during her stay. We highly recommend Ashleigh and have already booked her for two additional sits with Fergie!
