About: We love looking after dogs and want to help your pet feel at home with me while you’re away doing important human things. Your pet will be part of our family when they are with us. I have common sence, empathy and intuition. I love a cuddle and am a human nurse 😍 I live close to a big green park for walks We love to take dogs with to our activities like going to the pub, the river, paddling pool and for days out. If your pet is up for it of course. We recently took a pet on the miniature railway! I live with my partner who will also be involved in giving your pet love and attention. We have a big house and a lovely enclosed garden for them to enjoy and once we are all worn out they can join us chilling in the sofa If you have a bigger dog than our set criteria we are happy to have them as long as they are well behaved and able to sleep downstairs alone. I am a human nurse so hygiene is big on my agenda so I do lots of cleaning between customers. I’m understanding if different schedules and will fit around theirs if needed. There are quiet spaces available in the house. I do a mixture of work from home and working from an office that’s only a few streets away. And partner does shifts so we can ensure someone is home 24/7. We can do any length and frequency of walk desired and dogs on longer stays will be taken for walks and days further away (Whisby being one of our favourite). I have an enclosed back garden and live in a quiet street. There are no other pets here and it’s a big house for them to have their own space and move around when home. The basics of my job as a nurse is making sure basic needs are met like eating, sleeping, weeing, popping and feeling content, well and happy and I want to make sure this happens for your pet to…. So be prepared to answer questions about their pooping routine! I have done the NarpsUK free dog sitting course and am currently undertaking the full course which includes being educated about dog/cat first aid, breeds and healthcare.

About: Having grown up around animals pretty much my whole life, I have lots of experience in taking care and loving animals and know exactly what it takes to look after yours. Although taking care of animals can be a handful at times- whether you have an anxious pet, a puppy that hasn’t been crate trained or a dog that needs medication- I find it to be one of the most rewarding jobs. My flat is on a fenced in 20+ acre piece of land so there is plenty of room for your dogs to run around, and on top of this I am surrounded by numerous dog walking spots with lakes and mountain trails right on our doorstep. On the flip side, if you would prefer me to come and stay in your home to look after your pets, I want to ensure you a worry free trip through treating your home as I would my own with care and consideration. I make sure to strictly follow your instructions regarding feeding times, routines, and where your pets are allowed to go in the house. ​I know that every animal is different, so I always take a patient approach. I pay close attention to their body language to make sure they are comfortable and happy, never forcing them into interactions if they are feeling shy or overwhelmed. ​For walks, I keep dogs on a lead unless we are in a designated safe area and you have explicitly told me they have excellent recall. Before leaving your house, I always double check that doors and gates are properly locked, and that small pets or reptiles are completely secure in their enclosures. You will get regular photo updates throughout the stay so you can see exactly how relaxed and well cared for they are.
