About: 6 years experience handling and training dogs in the Military, working with both search and protection dogs and many different breeds from Spaniels to German Shepards. Overall I have 10 years experience in animal care and welfare having previously spent 4 years working in a zoo as a big cat keeper. I have rehomed 2 former working dogs in a 11 year old Belgium malinois and a 3 year old Red Labrador. Dog first aid trained and hold a level 3 qualification in Canine care, behaviour and welfare. Can offer dog walking, drop in visits, dog sitting and training if required. About: For the past year and a half I have worked professionally as a driver and daycare assistant in a busy doggy day care, this is where I received my Dog First Aid qualification and most of my professional experience caring for dogs. My responsibilities were extensive including walking and playing with the dogs as well as driving them to and from their homes at the beginning and end of the day. I have grown up in a pet filled household ever since I was born, not only did my own household have dogs and cats but my family and friends did also which I would often care for, walk and feed. As soon as I was stable enough to care for an animal myself I adopted my wonderful dog Popcorn, that was 6 years ago now and I can safely say it was the best decision I ever made, I have since fostered kittens and cats as well as taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family. About: I have looked after neighbours pets and family friends’ dogs for well over five years now. I also have experience in tending to senior dogs and with administrating prescribed medications, but also being attentive and stimulating with puppies! About: Hi, I’m Julie 🐾 I’ve been a dog lover all my life and was lucky enough to share many wonderful years with my two Labradors, Rubes and Rio. They were my world, and during the last four years of their lives I chose not to go on holiday because I simply wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. They weren’t “just dogs” they were family, and I know that’s exactly how many owners feel too. Although I’m not ready to have another dog of my own just yet, I really miss having dogs in my life. I regularly look after my son’s lively Cockapoo, and I also care for a colleague’s dog from time to time, so I still get plenty of muddy paws, wagging tails and dog cuddles. I work full time in an office role with the flexibility to work from home on some days, which allows me to spend extra time with the dogs in my care when possible. About: We are a family of 3 who love cats! I have always had cats and have even fostered up to 30 kittens at one time, in Alaska! I cat sat in Thailand for 9 gorgeous Siamese kitties, which was so fun! I also cat and dog sat for a family in Evedon when my son was a small baby.
