Tessa provided amazing service when looking after our cat Jenny, she gave a daily update with photos and made sure Jenny had everything she needed. She even put our rubbish out - thanks Tessa! It really put our mind at rest to know everything was ok at home during our holiday - would recommend Tessa without hesitating.

I highly recommend Dave as a dog walker and pet sitter. I call him “the dog whisperer “ as he has such a calming persona which seems to transfer to the dog. For many years, Dave walked our much loved Labrador, Jack. Jack absolutely adored him and the feeling I know was mutual. Everyday Jack would wait excitedly for Dave to arrive and they would have a lovely time walking in the park or by the river. Jack could be at challenge at times but I was always confident that Dave would be able to manage his (as he called it) - handbags at dawn behaviour. Dave has a key to our home and has often let our x2 Labradors out as well as feeding them. He would always spend extra some time with them so they were happy and relaxed when he left. So, if you are looking for someone to look after your fur babies I would suggest you give him a call - you’ll be glad you did!

Jaye allowed us to be away from the girls without any worries at all. She looked after them so well and the regular updates and photos were just fab. Clearly an animal lover, Jaye was so gentle with them both and we are delighted to have found somebody we can trust to take such good care of them. Thank you!

About: For the last 15 years I have volunteered for a range of animal charities across the UK and the USA, as well as managing a cat rescue charity in Lancashire for 7 years. I am highly experienced in caring for cats especially, including hand rearing orphan kittens, socialisation of stray and feral cats and kittens, administering medication, caring for pregnant cats, cats with medical conditions and much more. I have a deep understanding of cats behaviour and requirements, and can tailor cat care from the most playful cats to those very shy and nervous. I have rescue cats of my own at home, which are neutered, fully vaccinated and parasite treated, but always kept in a separate area to any boarding cats. I am also a registered volunteer for Animal Care and The Cinnamon Trust, which I have done for several years. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate. I now work from home on a flexi time schedule, meaning I can be available morning, lunchtime or evenings to provide home visits. I am at home seven days per week to provide a high level of care to boarding cats. We have a dedicated boarding room for cats, set up with litter trays, scratching trees to climb, chairs for lounging and sleeping, toys and background music. The room has a wooden floor and all surfaces, bedding and equipment are cleaned and washed between boarders with SAFE4 Defra and Veterinary approved detergent. You can choose to provide your own litter tray, litter, bed, bowls and food if you wish, to help make your cat feel at home. The room has underfloor heating and cosy cushions and blankets to help make it a home away from home. For extended stays, once your cat feels comfortable here, your cat can have monitored access to our garden. This is fully cat proofed with purrfect cat fencing ensuring that the cats are secure in our garden and cannot escape. Of all the cats that have used our garden we have never had any escapees. Both our garden and cat boarding room are camera monitored. We treat all boarding and foster cats with the same love, care and attention as we treat our own. We can offer long term stays for owners to travel abroad, hospital stays etc. We have plenty of photos of our boarding room and garden available on request, please just ask!

Sam and her boys have cared for my Rocky on many occasions, and he loves them as much as they love him. Even if it’s been months since he’s seen them, he’s so happy and excited to see them. He’s stayed over at their house quite a few times, and is always happy and relaxed when I’ve picked him up. I know he’s well looked after and showered with love. I completely trust Caiden to take Rocky for walks and Louie is always great with him, even tries to (unsuccessfully) race him. I would definitely recommend them all to look after your pet, they will be treated as family, and definitely have a wonderful time.

About: Ive always had dogs, there was always a dog at home when I was a child, and this continued throughout my life. I had a working dog for 10yrs, who continued to live with me when he retired, and have had Spaniels ever since as pets. Currently I have a 2yr old show type cocker, who is very chilled and very sociable. I don't take boatders, but am happy to stay in your home to keep your dogs routine - my dog Joe will be with me on any dog sitting jobs I will always want to arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure your dog(s) get on with Joe :) I work for the NHS, from home, and on a very flexible basis, more an 'as and when' type of job, which fits in with dog sitting. For anyone needing ad-hoc visits for dogs or puppies this would need to be within a 10 mile radius of Bardney, Lincoln. Happy to dog sit overnight within Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire & South Yorkshire When dog sitting in your home I will follow your dogs feeding and exercise routine. I would ensure I have your vets contact details - just in case.

Nina is a very lovely lady who is friendly, trustworthy and approachable. I met her when she came to pet sit for me. She kept my house neat, tidy and clean whilst I was away. My cats were very happy on my return as Nina had ensured that they were well looked after. I have fluffy Ragdoll cats with very different personalities (one timid girl and a diva boy) and even the rather demanding, stress prone boy was relaxed during our holiday making his demands in his usual loud fashion. Nina also kept a close eye on my horses, checking their welfare daily. I received regular updates so that I knew all was well at home with my pets. It was a pleasure to meet Nina and I’m sure that Hemmingway will agree that she’s a fabulous pet sitter.

Lauren has always had a love for animals. She is a very caring, compassionate lady who has always made sure animals are part of her life . She volunteered at a cat rescue for many years while completing her D of E and GCSEs . After completing her veterinary nursing course she worked in a vets practice and then spent 2 years working at Battersea dogs home in London . She is always so caring , has an excellent confidence with dogs and I would be thrilled if Lauren was walking my dog as I’m sure they would have a wonderful walk !!

At the end of January i will becoming a student nurse, at University Wednesday - Friday giving availability to fit pet care in Friday evening - Tuesday evening. When providing dog walking and sitting services in other people's houses, my approach focuses on creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for the pets in their familiar surroundings. Here's how I ensure their well-being: **Routine Maintenance:** I'll follow the pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, toilet breaks, play sessions, and walks. Consistency is crucial to keeping the pet comfortable and minimising stress. **Safety and Security:** I'll make sure the house is secure and safe for the pet. This includes checking for any hazards, ensuring gates and doors are closed properly, and confirming that the pet cannot access any dangerous substances. **Regular Exercise:** Dogs need regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. I'll take them on walks or engage in playtime according to their energy levels and preferences. This helps them burn off excess energy and reduces anxiety. **Hygiene and Cleanliness:** I'll clean up after the pet, including disposing of waste properly and maintaining cleanliness around feeding areas. A clean environment contributes to the pet's well-being and helps prevent any health issues. **Medication and Health Needs:** If the pet requires medication or has any special health needs, I'll administer medication as instructed by the owner and keep a record of dosages and times. **Interaction and Enrichment:** Dogs and cats need mental stimulation too. I'll engage with the pet through play, interactive toys, and gentle training exercises to keep them mentally engaged and happy. **Communication:** Regular updates are essential for pet owners' peace of mind. I'll provide them with updates on their pet's activities, behavior, and overall well-being through messages, photos, or videos. **Emergency Preparedness:** I'll be equipped with the owner's contact information, local veterinary contacts. **Respect for the Home:** I'll ensure the house remains clean and orderly during my stay. This includes tidying up after myself, respecting the owner's property, and maintaining security. **Comfort and Affection:** I'll provide pets with the care and affection they need, offering companionship and cuddles to ease any separation anxiety. 12. **Flexible Adaptation:** Each pet is unique, and I'll be attentive to any changes in behavior, mood, or health. If necessary, I'll adapt my approach to ensure the pet's comfort. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a seamless and stress-free experience for both the pets and their owners, allowing them to feel at ease knowing their beloved companions are in capable and caring hands.

I had to leave my 13 week puppy with a reliable and trustworthy dog owner. Catherine was a warm and friendly person with a dog to match. My puppy was well socialised with Catherine's dog, Arnie, with plenty of play time and training by Catherine. I was impressed by Arnie's ability to recognise my dog was a puppy and played accordingly despite being a much bigger dog. I notice a definite difference in my dog's behave thanks to all the good quality traits that Arnie taught her during the week's stay. Catherine's home offers a comfortable and safe environment for any dog with a spacious and securely enclosed garden for all dogs. I would definitely recommend Catherine to a friend and would use her again my with dog.

About: I have a range of experience looking after dogs from German shepherd's, to schnauzers, to new foundlands. I grew up with springer spaniels and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. I currently work full time during the week, but have shorter days on Mondays and Fridays which is ideal if you're heading away for a long weekend. Pets can roam about my home wherever they please. I do not have a fenced garden, but a courtyard outside where your pet would be allowed out under supervision. We would go on regular walks too.
