I work full time during the week, but caring for animals is a core part of my daily life. I walk my own dog, Four, every day—rain or shine—so I’m used to fitting pet care around a busy schedule. I don’t work weekends or during school holidays, which gives me extra flexibility for drop-ins and walks. My partner Scott is also an animal lover and often supports with afternoon visits when needed, but I’m always the main point of contact and responsible for bookings and care. Pet care is second nature in our household! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I hold a current DBS check and treat every animal with the same care and attention I give my own dog, Four. When walking dogs, I ensure they’re secure on a lead—especially those with reactivity or pulling tendencies—and always check the environment for potential hazards. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I create a calm, secure space tailored to your pet’s needs. For drop-ins, I create a calm, familiar environment for your pet by sticking to their usual routine—feeding, providing fresh water, and giving them the attention they’re used to. I take extra care to follow any specific instructions from you, and I’m always happy to send updates to keep you reassured. Whether your pet is a dog or a cat, I treat them with kindness, respect, and care, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe in their environment.

About: I’m a true dog lover, if there is a party I’m the first to sit with a dog and have a comfortable chat, and pat. I was very fortunate to have 17 years with my first baby, a miniature schnauzer, who I adored. The last 5 years of his life required a lot of extra care due to heart problems, and extreme sensitivity to most food. That being said, I’m good at giving medication, and have the extra patience and perseverance to make sure the dog has his proper medication in a calm, loving way. Before my dog was poorly, he was a high energetic gentleman, who loved his 3-4 walks a day. I through enjoy a pets company and like them to feel comfortable, and pampered when in my care. I am the first to volunteer to furbaby sit if any of my friends are going away, and have asked friends if I could borrow their dogs for a nice walk. I’m currently a home maker with two young children in their first years of school. This gives me extra time in the day to take a leisurely walk, or have some quality time with a pet. I have a small high stoned wall garden with a patch of grass, and I always walk with a lead when on public pathways, usually in quiet neighbourhoods, or public parks.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with dogs as a child (picture of my first dog, Murphy, attached!) and also to have my own dogs for the past 8 years - both big and small in breed. The handsome dachshund in my photos is Buzz, who loved nothing more than to come on adventures and squirrel hunt. A couple of years ago I adopted Olive and Willow from Turkey, the two beautiful girls next to me in my profile photo. They’re the most extravagant souvenirs I think I will ever bring back from a holiday! I found them whilst in Turkey with my family. They’d been abandoned as puppies and Willow in particular was in a terrible state, so weak she couldn’t even stand. Fast forward 4 months of them quarantining with a lovely Turkish family, going through all the required tests and checks, posing for a passport photo and road tripping across Europe - they finally arrived to their forever home with me in Lincoln in December 2023. The change in them has been amazing to watch and they’re now happy, confident, obedient, loving, hilarious - and mischievous! There were some tough moments for us all whilst they settled in and decompressed, but seeing what time, patience and love has done for them has been incredible and I couldn’t imagine my life without them. My mum says I’m obsessed with them, and I am! Olive and Willow are Anatolian Shepherd mix and have therefore given me experience caring for and handling larger breeds. Last year Willow was sadly diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia (as a result of her bad start in life) for which she has had daily medication and recently undergone total hip replacement surgery. I therefore also have experience in catering for medical needs and administering medication. I am also able to cater to any dietary requirements - including giving supplements. My pets are part of my family and I do all I can to give them the best life possible and reciprocate the unconditional love they give to me. I understand that you often need support to look after a pet, particularly around work and other personal commitments, and have used dog walking services for my own pets for many years. I therefore know how daunting it can be to trust someone else with your pets care, safety and happiness, how important it is to find the right person and what qualities are needed - kindness, patience, resilience, honesty, reliability. I promise to treat your pet/s with the same care and love as I do my own. I have also experience caring for cats, tortoises, fish, hamsters, rabbits, and chickens. I am in the process of a career change and therefore fortunate to currently have a very flexible schedule. Your pet will therefore be my sole priority during my visit, walk or stay with them. I will always do my best to accommodate the times and schedules that suit you and your pet/s best and ensure their normal routine and schedule is adhered to as far as possible. I will care for your pet as if they were my own, and always prioritise their safety, happiness and wellbeing. Before caring for your pet under any service, I will arrange a meet and greet to introduce myself and discuss what you would, or wouldn’t like me to do during any booking so there is transparency and to ensure that I’m the right fit for you and your pet/s. I will care for and respect your home during any visit and give you regular updates.

About: We have cared for many dogs after using borrow my doggy and caring for neighbours dogs. The longest we cared for a 4 legged friend was 3 months, he left such a large hole in our lives that we adopted hula 2 years ago. We love taking Hula and borrowed dogs on long walkies so your pup would be in great hands for walkies and playtime. We believe that if the dogs pawrents 🐾 are on holiday, so should they. So we try to do fun and exciting activities when I looking after dogs. Such as beach days, ice cream dates and trips into town. Im currently a student and spend most days at home with Hula (Jonah) so would love to spend time with more dogs. My partner (Jess) works full time but is off at weekends to go walkies and have playtime. We have a garden with a 6ft fence/high walls so dogs cant escape, and am happy to put dogs in separate rooms or in a crate depending on your dogs needs. But we allow Hula in all rooms in the house and feel that dogs should be allowed where the humans are.

About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of animals, but dogs are my absolute favourite. I have taken care of my own dogs, but friends and neighbours also rely on me to take care of their pets. I always make sure to account for the needs of the pets in my care, whether they need a walk, a bathroom break, or a tummy rub. I also have a supportive family that also loves dogs. The dogs in my care have a totally supportive environment. Pets in my care always have priority. I will only agree to take care of dogs if I know that I can put them first. I have a fenced garden and a supportive family. Dogs will have access to most of the house - wherever they feel most comfortable. It is a non-smoking house. The stairs can be dog-proofed if required.

About: I have several years of experience in kennel/rescue environments and have been the go to carer/ trainer and walker for friends and family since I was 11. I specialise in dog training, specially that of service animals so am happy to work on problem behaviours during my time with your pet. You'll receive plenty of photos whilst they're in my care as I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else. I'm currently at university so I have most days completely free, just with assignments to work on. If I have classes during the care period I won't be out for longer than 5 hours of the day. Your pet will receive 1 on 1 care and all the cuddles they can manage. When in my care all pets will stay on leash when on walks to ensure their safety, you'll receive a daily dairy with plenty of pics of their daily activities to help you relax.

About: Hi all, My name is Raquel and I am Canine Behaviourist. I have my small Business called Treat and Trail - Canine Wellness where I offer training along other services. In addition, I worked as an assistant Canine Behaviourist at Fern Ember Dog Behaviourist. My approach follows the Thinking-Dog method, build around making all pups feel comfortable, calm and connected. The idea behind this is all about the dog’s wellbeing, their safety and comfort. I previously worked as a dog walker during my time as a student, specialising in high-energetic dogs, tailoring walks to their needs and combining running sessions with enrichment activities. I owned different breeds and temperaments, from puppies to adults and seniors, including reactive dogs. Furthermore, I am comfortable with big boisterous dogs, small fearful dogs or socially anxious dogs. All of them deserve to enjoy a caring space with free of judgement where their only concern is about how much fun and care will receive. I have full availability and can take care of your canine companions. I own my home and I only share it with my two-years-old staffy cross, Freya. We are big adventure explorers and love finding muddy walks, climbing, swimming, running and jumping obstacles. I completely understand how nerve-racking it is to leave your dog with a stranger, either for an hour or a night. For this reason, my approach would always be to include a free of charge meet and greet with the dog parents, take a walk in the area together and discuss all your concerns. My priority is for your dog and yourself to feel relaxed and trust that your dog is in good hands. Additionally, I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have a fenced garden with lovely views to the dog park. My dog, Freya, and I are less than 10 minutes to the common, and we are ready for an adventure, as mentioned. If your dog is staying a night, we will need to prearrange a meeting with my dog, Freya and trial night to understand if your dog feels comfortable and wants social interactions. If booking my services as a dog-walker, I will take your dog individually if requested.

About: I have 9 years experience caring for our dog Jasper and regularly also look after my parents, brothers and in-laws dogs. Plenty of space; an enclosed garden and love a long walk around the village and fields. Calm, friendly house. Love getting to know dogs and their personalities. My wife and I will be jointly caring for you dogs. As teachers our routine varies depending on the time of year. Often available over weekends and ready for evening walks regularly. Can also cover some school holidays. Happy for a late arrangement if it works within our plans. We have an enclosed garden and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Our own dog Jasper is friendly and always gets on well with others. Love meeting new dogs and happy for a good long walk in the country if required.

About: I have helped look after my grandparents dogs for many years through staying at they're home while they're on holiday and regularly taking them on walks etc. I am at university but I have tuesday, saturday and sunday completely free. on Monday i am free after 1pm, on wednesday I'm free after 12pm, on thrusday the only time im not free is 2-4pm and on friday im not free between 9-10am and 3-4pm. I'm not able to house animals in my accommodation but I would be able to stay over at pet homer's homes and I will be respectful and ensure I always leave the home tidy.

About: I had a dog and cats as a child and looked after lots of friends and families pets ever since. From taking them to walks to having them stay over for a week or 2. When looking after dogs previously, it makes me so happy to see them get excited to see me again! I have 2 sons, 15 and 7, who also live with me. They have been taught how to be safe around animals ever since they were little and are very caring and attentive around them. They both love cats and dogs and are keen to get one full time. They have also enjoyed dog walks with me aswell as spending with family and friends pets. I think this would be a good way to give them some extra experience in caring for animals. I currently work part-time so have plenty of time to play and care for your lovely pets! I work 9-5 on a Wednesday, 8-4 on a Thursday and 9-3 on Fridays. All other days I'm generally free apart from popping out to do the usual chores or to go to the gym. I would be happy to look after your pet whilst I'm at work if they are OK and happy to be left for that amount of time. I will make enrichment toys to keep them occupied whilst im out of the house. Apart from a Wednesday, Thursday and friday I am available to also do drop ins and dog walks. I have a high fenced garden for your pups to enjoy. I also have a large field at the top of my street that is great for a dog walk. I do drive so if your dog is happy travelling, I would take them out on longer walks if needed. Your pets will be free to roam all areas of the house and I am happy for them to sit on the sofa with us for cuddles or sleep in my bed if that's what they are used to. It will be my main priority to make them feel safe and happy whilst they are with me. Please feel free to discuss any care your dog may need and I will do all I can to accommodate. If you require me to look after your pet in your home, I am only available on a friday evening as I have my children with me all other nights of the week.

About: I have always loved dogs and gone out of my way to meet every dog I can. I've befriended nervous dogs "mean" dogs small dogs and big dogs. I'm confident handling any dog and have returned several strays that have found me on our journeys. I know loads of parks, fields and country tracks so I can give your dog variety to exercise their minds as well as their bodies. I have left the office behind and am a full time dog walker. Whether your dogs can tell time like my dogs can or they don't need routine I'll fit them into my schedule. If you don't want your dog taking on a walk then I can pop round and feed and water them, play with them and let them out for the loo.

I currently work as a practice nurse on Monday - Fridays. Meaning that my weekends are fully available with no commitments to tend to your four legged friend!
