About: Iv taken care of dogs from a very young age. Iv always had a dog around me throughout my life. When I was younger I used to take my dogs and my neighbours dogs for their daily walks. I have trained my family dogs the basic skills for example being house trained, sit and stay. I currently have an eight month old show cocker who is very loyal, loving and playful to which I treat her as my child and hope to be able to give the same love and attention to yours. I’m home everyday all day and my partner works from home also. I walk Bella (our pouch) at least half an hour a day. Your fur baby will be highly looked after and will rarely be left alone for long periods. I have a fenced off large garden for your beloved dog to run around and toilet. Our home is big enough to host up to four dogs at a time. Your fur baby will be walked daily and fed upon the instructions given by the owner. I’m a highly trustworthy person. I have previously worked in the police, Immigration as well as care. I have a DBS also to prove that I do not have a criminal record.

Ideal for owners who maybe dont have the time or ability to climb hills or traipse the countryside! I can offer short stays mainly over weekends if required. I aim to only board over my time off so I can spend quality time with your pets. However, if the owner is agreeable I can take pets to work with me or they can relax at home. I have a large secure boot for transport with a dog guard. I can accommodate dogs upfront with a seat belt too if they prefer. I would always keep dogs on leads unless the owner species otherwise. I have an enclosed garden, on a quiet road. Seperate rooms for feeding away from my pets if needed.

Unfortunately, due to the demands of being full-time teachers, we’re not currently able to have one of our own. That’s why dog sitting gives us the best of both worlds — we get to enjoy the companionship, exercise, and joy of dog walking without compromising on the commitment a dog deserves. We love being outdoors and exploring new walks, so spending time with dogs fits perfectly into our lifestyle. We are happy to have dogs to stay during the week if they are used to being left alone for a fee hours in a large airy kitchen. About: My experience working with dogs is extensive, having had them as pets for 20 years of my life. At my childhood home we have 3 dogs and 1 cat in the house- so an absolute a madhouse! I have been relied on to walk, feed and bathe the dogs under my care and have house sat multiple friends and family pets. I specialise in the care of small-medium size dogs as this is where my experience lies but I would be happy to look after larger dogs if you don't mind the occasional foray onto google. I have also looked after a dog with epilepsy so i have experience giving regular and emergency medication when necessary. I have looked after 4 litters of puppies and a litter of kittens, toilet training them and teaching basic skills such as sit, fetch and return. We even had to bottle feed one litter of puppies as the mother was not producing milk so I understand the full time care and responsibility that owners require to keep their pets safe and happy. I work 8-5 during the weekdays, two of which I work from home so I have some flexibility when it comes to my schedule. However, I am fully available on weekends unless stated otherwise on my calendar. In my home dogs will be treated like part of the family, given lots of love hugs and attention but still discipline when needed. I like to provide each with a safe space using soft furnishings or a crate if possible so they can retreate of needed. Usually I will crate dogs at night or if I leave the house, which is not often. They are fed and walked (for at least 30 minutes) twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with their regular food. Water is, of course, constantly available and the back door to the garden is open whenever possible. Though I should note that I let dogs out at least once every 2 hours so they can do their business and if a garden is not available then I would take the dog out on the lead outside. In regards to discipline, I usually prefer the carrot over the stick, rewarding dogs when they have done well with first treats and later just a clicker or toy. However if punishment is necessary I would only ever tap the dog on the nose and state a firm no, hitting is never required. For example, if the dog has urinated in the house, I would sharply tap them on the nose, state no, putting their nose in their urine and then simply place them where they need to be - usually outside or on a toilet training area (e.g. newspaper). In regards to safety while walking, I would either use a harness or collar and a non-extendable lead. A dog would not be left off a lead until I have walked with them at least 5 times and built a relationship with them to avoid the dog running off or back home. I usually go to a green area nearby when walking the dogs and like to let them run around wherever possible in the garden, often leaving the door open so they can run in and out. I do of course recognise that all owners have different methods for providing a home for their furry pet so I would defer to whatever rules are already in place with whomever I am hired by.

About: Having previously worked as I dog sitter, I am extremely familiar with what is expected of me. I take pride in maintaining a relationship between myself and the owner, as well as the wonderful dogs. I know that all canines are different, and I treat each one as an individual. The importance of trust with a dog is something I practice with any dog, making each walk or visit that much more enjoyable. About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. Recently my dog passed away so looking forward to spending time around dogs as I miss him. I’m used to the frequent need to potty and the constant need for attention. I own a ginger nutty cat Hercules and 2 rescue kittens who are high energy and love dogs. I am a nurse however I will only put my availability for my days off so I can provide all my attention to your animals. Also on my days off my husband is around mostly to help with any boarding of dogs/cats.
