We were somewhat let down by a friend just before going abroad and what would usually be a mad panic was completely resolved by Megan putting us fully at ease. She offered to do a meet and greet before the date to make sure she and her Bella were the right fit, proving she actually cares about your dogs welfare. While away we received frequent updates and pictures which kept me at ease, and since Onyx is a bigger somewhat complicated breed I always have worries leaving him with people but honestly he had a better time with her than I’ve ever known him have. I have my own lovely dog, Lenny, who is incredibly friendly and gets on brilliantly with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in best friend during their stay. We have a beautiful, secure garden with plenty of space to play and enjoy some fresh air, and we’re also right next to the Common, so we have gorgeous open spaces and fantastic walking routes literally on our doorstep. It’s perfect for dogs who love a good walk and a chance to explore! Dogs are very much treated as part of the family here. I’m attentive, caring and will make sure your dog gets plenty of fuss, company and attention throughout their stay. I’ll also stick to their usual routine as much as possible, including feeding, walks and any little quirks or requirements they have. I know leaving your dog with someone else can feel daunting, so I’m happy to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can see how they’re getting on and have complete peace of mind while you’re away. Lenny is very sociable and loves having other dogs around, so we’re ideally suited to dogs who enjoy company and would benefit from a relaxed, loving home-from-home environment. I have my own dog, Lenny, so I’m already used to getting out for a good walk every day. We’re lucky enough to live right by the Common, which is perfect for lovely walks and plenty of fresh air. In the evenings, we always have another little garden outing before bed, followed by plenty of sofa cuddles and downtime. I’m happy to build my routine around the needs of the dogs in my care and make sure they get lots of attention, exercise and company. Lenny is a big part of our family, so I would treat every dog in my care exactly the same way — with lots of love, patience and attention. Safety would always be my top priority. I’m very conscious of keeping dogs secure on walks, particularly around roads and unfamiliar environments, and would always follow an owner’s instructions around leads, recall and off-lead walking. About: I have plenty of experience caring for dogs through looking after my own dog, Max, back home, who I have taken full responsibility for. They clearly adore animals and Sparky had a wonderful time. I wasn't expecting her to be walked because Sparky is very strong willed and rarely allows anyone else but me to walk her. However, Sarah struck up a strong rapport and did take her out. Brilliant care and very happy with all she did for her whilst I was working. An easy 5 star rating.”

About: I am flexible to support your fur child, as long as they’re happy to be with a large golden retriever named Douglas (4 year old). I work from home so can ensure your pooch is a priority, we have a lovely enclosed garden and local walks nearby. I’ve looked after friends and families dogs throughout my life and a huge dog lover. Douglas even has his own TikTok if you wish to view the fun we have: teachm........ I’m used to big dogs growing up with a German Wirehaired Pointer and we also had a Border Terrier. All shapes and sizes are welcome in my home. My schedule usually starts between 6-7am, we are up and out with Douglas. I’m usually logged on my laptop from home at 8:45am finishing at 17:15pm. I manage my own diary and can book meetings around your dogs needs. I live at home with my partner who is on 12 hour shifts, so he is in/out depending on his schedule. After work we have another walk. Bedtime around 9-10! Douglas sleeps downstairs but we don’t mind dogs upstairs too, whatever they are comfortable with. I have a fenced garden, space for them to explore and open house for them to sit on several sofas! I’m happy to cater for their needs, ensuring their usual schedules are followed as much as possible. Douglas is super friendly and happy to welcome visitors.

“Suzanne and her husband were amazing with Belle over the weekend she stayed with them. Belle can be quite cautious around new people and dogs and it was the first time I'd left her with someone she didn't know well but at our first meeting Suzanne medee feel Cofindant the Belle would be looked after, there were Plenty of photos and updates and On picking up Belle she behaved like she'd had a better weekend break then my partner and I did 😅. Will definitely use Suzanne again and after this experience I would be very reluctant to use any one else”
About: I currently have a 3 year old Labrador x Golden retriever and before that had a Border collie. I am used to high energy large dogs. I'm currently working from home full time during the week so have full availability Monday to Friday days and evenings. I am also available during weekends. I live in a 2 bedroom house that I share with a 3 year old Labrador x Golden retriever (spayed), she is very friendly and gets on well with other dogs. I have a fenced garden with a lockable gate.

At the start of our dogs stay we were regularly updated whilst on our holiday, with photos and messages. We felt happy with the contact and care our dog received 😊 The distance between us was shortened by Jayne collecting& also dropping off our dog at our home.
