About: Iv taken care of dogs from a very young age. Iv always had a dog around me throughout my life. When I was younger I used to take my dogs and my neighbours dogs for their daily walks. I have trained my family dogs the basic skills for example being house trained, sit and stay. I currently have an eight month old show cocker who is very loyal, loving and playful to which I treat her as my child and hope to be able to give the same love and attention to yours. I’m home everyday all day and my partner works from home also. I walk Bella (our pouch) at least half an hour a day. Your fur baby will be highly looked after and will rarely be left alone for long periods. I have a fenced off large garden for your beloved dog to run around and toilet. Our home is big enough to host up to four dogs at a time. Your fur baby will be walked daily and fed upon the instructions given by the owner. I’m a highly trustworthy person. I have previously worked in the police, Immigration as well as care. I have a DBS also to prove that I do not have a criminal record.

About: I have cared for pets for all my life, ranging from hamsters to horses and everything in-between. I offer dog walks, cat and small pets care. I also do overnights in owners homes. With having pets already, I know how important constant routine is, so their needs come before my own, whilst having the freedom to be their fun, fluffy selves! I will follow the plan that we come up with together at the meet and greet, the maximum time left between visits is 4 - 4 1/3 hours, with a half an hour visit or walk in the day. I will stick to their feeding plans, and we will enjoy lots of cuddles and play time.

About: I’ve looked after cats with all different needs, such as needing medication or just needing extra affection. I also have experience of looking after senior cats as well as young cats. I work early shifts from Wednesday to Saturday, so can stop by early morning as well as in the afternoons and evenings. I drive so am able to travel to care for pets. I have an advanced DBS certificate. I am dependable and make sure to closely check and attend to each pet to make sure they are getting on okay when their owners are away. About: I’ve grown up with small dogs, needing the typical love and cuddles. My boyfriend has a husky so I’ve learnt more about bigger dogs who need more attention, especially a reactive husky who has bounds of energy! I am a supply teacher who needs an excuse to be out in nature more. My boyfriend lives in America and I had to come home to England temporarily, walking dogs helps close my exercise rings and to keep me sane whilst I miss him! I would care for a pet by giving them my presence. Giving them love, making sure water bowls and any food they need has been replenished and getting their energy out on walks!

About: I have had all kinds of pets my whole life and currently have a smallholding caring for a variety of animals including poultry, waterfowl, sheep and goats aswell as pet birds. He will be over the moon to have a friend to hang out with , we have a large fenced off garden to run around and a stair gate so the dogs are always downstairs and are easy to spot! I have to cats who are very cuddly and aren’t fazed by other animals. I have plenty of toys and treats to go around , and pet beds for when they get sleepy however I don’t mind them joining me in the sofa for a cuddle :)

About: My experience working with dogs is extensive, having had them as pets for 20 years of my life. At my childhood home we have 3 dogs and 1 cat in the house- so an absolute a madhouse! I have been relied on to walk, feed and bathe the dogs under my care and have house sat multiple friends and family pets. I specialise in the care of small-medium size dogs as this is where my experience lies but I would be happy to look after larger dogs if you don't mind the occasional foray onto google. I have also looked after a dog with epilepsy so i have experience giving regular and emergency medication when necessary. I have looked after 4 litters of puppies and a litter of kittens, toilet training them and teaching basic skills such as sit, fetch and return. We even had to bottle feed one litter of puppies as the mother was not producing milk so I understand the full time care and responsibility that owners require to keep their pets safe and happy. I work 8-5 during the weekdays, two of which I work from home so I have some flexibility when it comes to my schedule. However, I am fully available on weekends unless stated otherwise on my calendar. In my home dogs will be treated like part of the family, given lots of love hugs and attention but still discipline when needed. I like to provide each with a safe space using soft furnishings or a crate if possible so they can retreate of needed. Usually I will crate dogs at night or if I leave the house, which is not often. They are fed and walked (for at least 30 minutes) twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with their regular food. Water is, of course, constantly available and the back door to the garden is open whenever possible. Though I should note that I let dogs out at least once every 2 hours so they can do their business and if a garden is not available then I would take the dog out on the lead outside. In regards to discipline, I usually prefer the carrot over the stick, rewarding dogs when they have done well with first treats and later just a clicker or toy. However if punishment is necessary I would only ever tap the dog on the nose and state a firm no, hitting is never required. For example, if the dog has urinated in the house, I would sharply tap them on the nose, state no, putting their nose in their urine and then simply place them where they need to be - usually outside or on a toilet training area (e.g. newspaper). In regards to safety while walking, I would either use a harness or collar and a non-extendable lead. A dog would not be left off a lead until I have walked with them at least 5 times and built a relationship with them to avoid the dog running off or back home. I usually go to a green area nearby when walking the dogs and like to let them run around wherever possible in the garden, often leaving the door open so they can run in and out. I do of course recognise that all owners have different methods for providing a home for their furry pet so I would defer to whatever rules are already in place with whomever I am hired by.
