About: Iv taken care of dogs from a very young age. Iv always had a dog around me throughout my life. When I was younger I used to take my dogs and my neighbours dogs for their daily walks. I have trained my family dogs the basic skills for example being house trained, sit and stay. I currently have an eight month old show cocker who is very loyal, loving and playful to which I treat her as my child and hope to be able to give the same love and attention to yours. I’m home everyday all day and my partner works from home also. I walk Bella (our pouch) at least half an hour a day. Your fur baby will be highly looked after and will rarely be left alone for long periods. I have a fenced off large garden for your beloved dog to run around and toilet. Our home is big enough to host up to four dogs at a time. Your fur baby will be walked daily and fed upon the instructions given by the owner. I’m a highly trustworthy person. I have previously worked in the police, Immigration as well as care. I have a DBS also to prove that I do not have a criminal record.
“Charlotte was fantastic with our cat, Maggie - she gave us regular updates & really put our minds at ease, she can be quite a nervous cat but seemed really settled when we arrived home, like we’d never been away! Thank you Charlotte! Xx”

“I arranged for Bethany to drop in for an hour and walk our Patterdale Terrier when we were out for the day. She came to meet him a couple of days before and asked about his routine etc. She came on the day as arranged and walked him and fed him. She sent updates and asked questions regarding his food, and let us know he was all good. Thank you - very happy x”

About: Hi, I'm Luisa! I'm originally from Spain and have been living in England for almost 11 years. Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, I grew up surrounded by dogs, pigeons, parrots and more, and I currently share my home with a 10 year old cat. EXPERIENCE: I have taken care of animals from friends and family, mostly dogs, cats and rodents, but I have accrued 3 years of experience as a professional dog sitter. After stepping away for a while to focus on other jobs as a chef, sales assistant and marketing executive, I'm now back to pet sitting while I study towards a career in Psychology (for humans), although, my interest in behaviour and wellbeing also extends to animals. DOGS: I'm a dedicated self-learner. During the time I wasn't actively working as a sitter, I kept studying canine behaviour, following professionals who stay up to date with current research and apply it through positive reinforcement, a training and care approach based on rewarding good behaviour rather than punishing unwanted behaviour. I'm not a dog trainer, but this knowledge allows me to understand much better dogs' body language. OTHER INFO: - My fees can vary depending on your needs as well, costs are lower if you need more frequent visits and 60-minutes walks. Get in touch for a personalised quote! - While I'm looking after your pet, I'm also happy to keep an eye on your home. This includes watering your indoor and outdoor plants, collecting your post, and alternating lights or curtains so your home looks lived-in while you're away. All at no extra cost, just as part of the service. - I can administer basic medication, both topical and oral. - I'm able to reply to messages quickly. - Please note: I have a cat who isn't used to being around dogs, which is why I'm not able to offer overnight boarding at my own home. However, I do offer house sitting at your home. TRUST & SAFETY: Free Meet & Greet: - Before your first booking, I offer a free introductory visit so your pet (and you!) can meet me, ask any questions, and feel comfortable before we start. No pressure, no obligation. - Photos & videos included in every service, so you can see how your pet is doing. Key safety: Keys are stored securely and privately, never labelled with your name or address. I'm happy to use a key safe or smart lock if you have one, and keys are returned or securely stored between visits, whichever you prefer. Emergency protocol: If your pet needs veterinary attention and I can't reach you, I will take them to the vet myself. Insurance & DBS check: I'm currently in the process of arranging public liability insurance and a Basic DBS (background) check, both of which I consider essential for the trust this job requires. I'll update my profile as soon as these are in place. I currently work from home starting up my online business and also studying for a Psychology career, so I have a flexible schedule and can usually reply and arrange visits quickly. I'm available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting throughout the week, including weekends, just let me know your routine and I'll adapt to it. About: I have cared for pets for all my life, ranging from hamsters to horses and everything in-between. I offer dog walks, cat and small pets care. I also do overnights in owners homes. With having pets already, I know how important constant routine is, so their needs come before my own, whilst having the freedom to be their fun, fluffy selves! I will follow the plan that we come up with together at the meet and greet, the maximum time left between visits is 4 - 4 1/3 hours, with a half an hour visit or walk in the day. I will stick to their feeding plans, and we will enjoy lots of cuddles and play time.
About: I’ve looked after cats with all different needs, such as needing medication or just needing extra affection. I also have experience of looking after senior cats as well as young cats. I work early shifts from Wednesday to Saturday, so can stop by early morning as well as in the afternoons and evenings. I drive so am able to travel to care for pets. I have an advanced DBS certificate. I am dependable and make sure to closely check and attend to each pet to make sure they are getting on okay when their owners are away. I can send daily photos and videos to owners missing their pets.
About: I’ve grown up with small dogs, needing the typical love and cuddles. My boyfriend has a husky so I’ve learnt more about bigger dogs who need more attention, especially a reactive husky who has bounds of energy! I am a supply teacher who needs an excuse to be out in nature more. My boyfriend lives in America and I had to come home to England temporarily, walking dogs helps close my exercise rings and to keep me sane whilst I miss him! I would care for a pet by giving them my presence. Giving them love, making sure water bowls and any food they need has been replenished and getting their energy out on walks!
About: Hey, I'm Hannah , and I'm passionate about caring for animals! I've grown up around pets my whole life, including dogs, cats, and even goats, thanks to my dad. While I’m just starting out as a dog walker and pet sitter, I’ve learned a lot about responsibility, patience, and how to keep animals happy and healthy. I’m reliable, enthusiastic, and excited to give your pets the love and attention they deserve while you’re away or just need to get nose deep in some work or self-care. As for cats, I grew up with a family cat who had kittens, and I’ve helped care for my friend’s cats (and dog) while she was on holiday. My aunt has two cats, and my girlfriend has a cheeky ginger cat who loves Dreamies (and always begs for more!). While I’m just getting started professionally, I have plenty of hands-on experience from growing up with animals. I’m reliable, patient, and happy to care for your feline friends, making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and loved. Let me know how I can help care for your furry friends! I'm a bit of a night owl, so don't worry if you have late or odd hours. I'm happy to fit you in whenever possible. I will make sure I familiarise myself with the layout of the house and where all important items are, will photos frequently of your pet(s).
About: I have had all kinds of pets my whole life and currently have a smallholding caring for a variety of animals including poultry, waterfowl, sheep and goats aswell as pet birds. Dogs, cats and rabbits. Please message me about the particular breeds you have and their needs, I'm sure I can help. I work part time from home and running a smallholding so my only restriction is the school run morning and afternoon. Weekends are usually available. I can feed, water, medicate, walk, almost any kind of animal. I can keep small caged animals in my home. In the future I will be able to home board, non-reactive dogs.
About: I’m experienced in dog care and have always loved being around animals, especially dogs. Unfortunately, due to the demands of being full-time teachers, we’re not currently able to have one of our own. That’s why dog sitting gives us the best of both worlds — we get to enjoy the companionship, exercise, and joy of dog walking without compromising on the commitment a dog deserves. We love being outdoors and exploring new walks, so spending time with dogs fits perfectly into our lifestyle. We are happy to have dogs to stay during the week if they are used to being left alone for a fee hours in a large airy kitchen. We’re always free to dog sit during evenings, school holidays and most weekends. We’d love to spend time with your pups! We’re free to play, walk, and cuddle with them every Monday after 2pm, most weekends, and throughout the school holidays. Whether it’s a muddy adventure, a game of fetch, or just some belly rubs on the sofa, we’re ready to give your dog plenty of attention and fun while you’re away or busy. We are happy to have dogs during the week if they are comfortable being left on their own for 4 hours max - Our working hours are: Mon - Wed 8-4 (we have a dog walker to come in midway through the day) Thu - Fri we are back by lunchtime We have a secure, dog-friendly household with a fully fenced garden that’s perfect for your pup to run around and play safely. Whether your dog loves to chase a ball, lounge in the sun, or just explore, our garden is a great space for them to enjoy. We’re happy to accommodate any specific routines or requests you have—just let us know, and we’ll make sure your dog feels right at home.

About: *Please note I am currently unavailable throughout July due to work commitments. I will be available again from August and able to respond to any future requests from then - best wishes* I’m a new member here at Rover.com but I’m certainly not new to pet sitting or providing care to a variety of animals. I’ve been an animal-lover since childhood and am capable of providing a professional service so you can rest assured that existing care, routines and training are adhered to when you are not able to be with your pet due to holidays or work commitments. I have experience in both pet sitting and house sitting; caring for animals ranging from dogs, cats, horses, exotic birds, rabbits, sheep, cattle, chickens, goats and pigs. I love to meet and care for animals of all types and I am flexible and adaptable to treat your pet in the way they need, meeting the individual requirements of your furry-friend. I hold an NVQ Level 2 in Horse Care and have previous experience of working with nervous pets. I currently work from home and for the first time in my life; have found myself with no pets at home, leaving my commitments free to care for your pet. I can be flexible to fit around your schedule/requirements and often can be available to step-in if animal care is needed last minute. Please contact me, I am happy to help and get a booking arranged. I am flexible and adaptable to provide individual care for every animal. Please contact me about any requirements your pet may have, animal care will be tailored to the needs of your pet. I am very happy to continue light training, if this is something you are working on with your pet. When house-sitting I can provide basic homecare tasks e.g. plant-watering and being at the address to receive deliveries and during my stay I will upkeep the standards of your home. I understand it can be difficult to leave your pet when you have to be separated – previously I have provided photo and text updates and video calls to pet owners to ease this situation and bring comfort, feel free to ask if you would like this to be provided. Meet & Greets can then be arranged prior to your booking, so I can understand your companion’s needs and giving opportunity to go over care instructions - so you can relax when you’re away.
About: My experience working with dogs is extensive, having had them as pets for 20 years of my life. At my childhood home we have 3 dogs and 1 cat in the house- so an absolute a madhouse! I have been relied on to walk, feed and bathe the dogs under my care and have house sat multiple friends and family pets. I specialise in the care of small-medium size dogs as this is where my experience lies but I would be happy to look after larger dogs if you don't mind the occasional foray onto google. I have also looked after a dog with epilepsy so i have experience giving regular and emergency medication when necessary. I have looked after 4 litters of puppies and a litter of kittens, toilet training them and teaching basic skills such as sit, fetch and return. We even had to bottle feed one litter of puppies as the mother was not producing milk so I understand the full time care and responsibility that owners require to keep their pets safe and happy. I work 8-5 during the weekdays, two of which I work from home so I have some flexibility when it comes to my schedule. However, I am fully available on weekends unless stated otherwise on my calendar. In my home dogs will be treated like part of the family, given lots of love hugs and attention but still discipline when needed. I like to provide each with a safe space using soft furnishings or a crate if possible so they can retreate of needed. Usually I will crate dogs at night or if I leave the house, which is not often. They are fed and walked (for at least 30 minutes) twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with their regular food. Water is, of course, constantly available and the back door to the garden is open whenever possible. Though I should note that I let dogs out at least once every 2 hours so they can do their business and if a garden is not available then I would take the dog out on the lead outside. In regards to discipline, I usually prefer the carrot over the stick, rewarding dogs when they have done well with first treats and later just a clicker or toy. However if punishment is necessary I would only ever tap the dog on the nose and state a firm no, hitting is never required. For example, if the dog has urinated in the house, I would sharply tap them on the nose, state no, putting their nose in their urine and then simply place them where they need to be - usually outside or on a toilet training area (e.g. newspaper). In regards to safety while walking, I would either use a harness or collar and a non-extendable lead. A dog would not be left off a lead until I have walked with them at least 5 times and built a relationship with them to avoid the dog running off or back home. I usually go to a green area nearby when walking the dogs and like to let them run around wherever possible in the garden, often leaving the door open so they can run in and out. I do of course recognise that all owners have different methods for providing a home for their furry pet so I would defer to whatever rules are already in place with whomever I am hired by.

It’s my passion to care for pets and animals from dogs and cats to reptiles I love them all :) I’m at uni and work a part time job so your pet will easily fit into my routine, I card for my partners dog and grandparents dog as well as my own pets which I have a variety including hamsters and a bearded dragon:) I care for pets In a way others may not, I treat pets with respect and care in their own home and help them to thrive and be happy and content even when their owners aren’t around.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets has given me a genuine understanding of their different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I've owned a Labrador Retriever and currently have a Working Cocker Spaniel, so I have hands-on experience with both relaxed family dogs and more energetic breeds that require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I've also had cats throughout my life, giving me a good understanding of feline behaviour and the importance of providing a calm, safe, and stress-free environment. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've looked after dogs and cats for neighbours, friends, and family, including home visits, feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and check-ins while owners have been away. I understand that every pet is unique, which is why I take the time to follow each owner's instructions carefully. Whether it's sticking to a specific feeding schedule, administering medication orally(if required), maintaining exercise routines, or simply providing plenty of love, attention and reassurance; I tailor my care to ensure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and well looked after. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is being cared for as if they were my own. I am also fully insured for your peace of mind and carry first aid kit either on me or in the car. I have a flexible schedule, which means I'm available for boarding, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week, including weekends. This allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship to the pets in my care, while working around their usual routines. Your pet's wellbeing is always my top priority. This includes feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, medication (where needed), and any special requirements to help them feel comfortable and settled. During warmer weather, I also take extra precautions to keep dogs safe. If temperatures exceed 22°C, I won't take dogs out for walks, as heat can be dangerous. Instead, I'll provide indoor enrichment, play, and plenty of attention, along with access to fresh water and regular comfort breaks in a safe, shaded area where appropriate. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I provide a calm, loving, and secure home where pets can relax and feel part of the family while you're away. I live in a house with a large, fully fenced garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to play, explore, and enjoy regular toilet breaks. Inside, they'll have plenty of companionship, attention, and a comfortable environment to settle into. I also have a 5-month-old female Working Cocker Spaniel who is friendly, playful, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She has a gentle nature and is also comfortable around cats. I always introduce pets carefully and supervise interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll always follow your instructions regarding routines, boundaries, feeding, exercise, and any special requirements. My aim is to provide the same level of care, patience, and affection that I'd want for my own pet, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind while you're away.
