Currently in between jobs, when I do work it will be part time. Husband currently works from home so almost always someone in the house. Like to travel and be active at weekends so weekdays work better currently.

We have a small secure fenced garden with a large park and other field areas nearby for plenty of sniffs and longer walks. Teenage daughter at home who has always been around dogs. Currently have our own beagle who is fairly chilled; happy to not leave any visiting dogs on their own with her if preferred. We do live in a 3 storey house with the living room on the first floor so dogs need to be OK with stairs.

As we do have a dog ourselves, any dogs for sitting need to be tolerable of her. Happy to not leave them alone together and can be walked separately.

A few different fields on our doorstep as well as potential for longer walks for the more adventurous hounds. Comfy sofa available for those dogs who are allowed and a garden for ball throwing or sunbathing.

I’ve had dogs almost constantly since I was 7, of all sizes and temperaments, with a particularly fondness for greyhounds/lurchers. Have looked after friends’ dogs over the last few years too.

Rachel is a lovely, caring, flexible and conscientious sitter who made my boy feel so totally at home that he didn't give a monkeys about me leaving him. She was brilliant at sending photos and updates and I knew he was in good hands all day. And she's just a really nice person as well :)
Rachel has been absolutely amazing at doing drop ins for our new rescue during the week. She always fills out the card so we get an update and pictures when she has finished. She has been helping to teach “fetch” and has given lots of cuddles. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. She’s absolutely brilliant! :)
Rachel has owned dogs for as long as I have known her and has also looked after some for friends over the years. She has always treated them with calm and patience and made sure they are happy and well cared for as well as ensuring they feel they are part of the family. I would have no hesitation in her looking after a dog or any other pet of mine as they would certainly be in safe, fun and welcoming hands.
