After Sarah agreed to look after Henry. We went to meet her and her husband Bob. Henry took an instant liking to both. We went back for a second meet, Henry ran straight upto them and into the house and made himself at home. I had no doubts what so ever leaving him with Sarah and Bob. Sarah sent photos of Henry, he looked happy and at home. I can't recommend Sarah enough to look after your dog. He will be so well looked after. Will certainly be booking Henry in again. Thank you very much Sarah and Bob for my worry free weekend knowing Henry was with you.

Our 2 Cockapoos were so well looked after by Lindsey and Karl. They settled quickly and we got lots of updates whilst we were away. Lindsey and Karl stepped in at the last minute after a new sitter cancelled last minute and we are so grateful they did. Would highly recommend them both as our lovely dogs can be quite discerning but they loved their stay.

About: A loving home away from home 🐾 Hi! I’m Meg, and I’d love to welcome your dog into our home while you’re away. I have my own lovely dog, Lenny, who is incredibly friendly and gets on brilliantly with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in best friend during their stay. We have a beautiful, secure garden with plenty of space to play and enjoy some fresh air, and we’re also right next to the Common, so we have gorgeous open spaces and fantastic walking routes literally on our doorstep. It’s perfect for dogs who love a good walk and a chance to explore! Dogs are very much treated as part of the family here. I’m attentive, caring and will make sure your dog gets plenty of fuss, company and attention throughout their stay. I’ll also stick to their usual routine as much as possible, including feeding, walks and any little quirks or requirements they have. I know leaving your dog with someone else can feel daunting, so I’m happy to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can see how they’re getting on and have complete peace of mind while you’re away. Lenny is very sociable and loves having other dogs around, so we’re ideally suited to dogs who enjoy company and would benefit from a relaxed, loving home-from-home environment. Your dog will get plenty of love, attention, walks, garden time and cuddles — and hopefully leave having made a new four-legged best friend too! 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have my own dog, Lenny, so I’m already used to getting out for a good walk every day. We’re lucky enough to live right by the Common, which is perfect for lovely walks and plenty of fresh air. I also have a beautiful garden where dogs can safely play, sniff and relax throughout the day. In the evenings, we always have another little garden outing before bed, followed by plenty of sofa cuddles and downtime. I’m happy to build my routine around the needs of the dogs in my care and make sure they get lots of attention, exercise and company. As a dog owner myself, I completely understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires a huge amount of trust. Lenny is a big part of our family, so I would treat every dog in my care exactly the same way — with lots of love, patience and attention. Safety would always be my top priority. I’m very conscious of keeping dogs secure on walks, particularly around roads and unfamiliar environments, and would always follow an owner’s instructions around leads, recall and off-lead walking. At home, we have a lovely enclosed garden where dogs can play and relax safely, as well as plenty of space for them to settle. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with photos and messages so you know your dog is happy, safe and being well looked after while you’re away. Most importantly, I want dogs staying with me to feel at home — whether that means a long walk on the Common, playing in the garden or curling up on the sofa for a cuddle.

Jo and Helen were first class with Bailey. We were worried about leaving him as he hadn’t been very well and needed medication but we had no reason to. My dog stayed with Julie for a week, she was amazing and went above and beyond for him. We met before the visit so Gus could see where he was staying, meet Julie and make sure he was comfortable with her. Unfortunately shortly after Gus went to stay he became ill due to circumstances out of everyone’s control and Julie was amazing at keeping us up to date throughout everything and took him to the vets when needed on multiple occasions. I honestly cannot recommend Julie enough. She is such a friendly and caring person and i would definitely use her again to look after Gus.

I understand their routines, quirks, and the importance of a calm, respectful approach. Gemma recently looked after our cat Bruno - dropping in daily to feed, play, clean and give much needed attention to him whilst we were away. I cannot rate Gemma highly enough. I have experienced less than ideal cat sitters in the past who don't provide the care and enthusiasm that Gemma does. I received daily updates with photos and felt reassured that both our cat and our home was in good hands. At the initial meet and greet, Bruno was a bit unsure and hissed but I could tell that Gemma was unphased and simply understood cats and how they can be wary at first. It can be hard leaving your cat whilst your away but they will be in safe hands with Gemma - thank you.

About: I’m someone who finds a lot of joy in quiet routines and gentle company, which is probably why I’ve always been drawn to cats. Over the past months I’ve looked after several cats, and each stay has reminded me how lovely it is to share a home with them — even if only for a short while. My previous sits have involved caring for cats with very different personalities, from shy and slow-to-warm to bold and demanding. I enjoy taking the time to understand what each cat needs to feel settled. I’ve often been told that homes are left tidier than before, and that the cats seem almost disappointed when their humans return — something I take as the highest compliment.😆 Although I haven’t administered medication or handled bathing, I’m very confident with everyday care, gentle routines, and keeping a calm, clean environment. I also communicate clearly and respectfully, because I know how much trust it takes to let someone into your home and care for your family member.

About: I have helped look after cats and have had a pet cat since the age of 4. I have looked after other people's pets such as dogs, cats and hamsters. I would provide good, loving care for people's cats, feed them, clean their litter tray, and play with toys to help them to feel comfortable and safe in my company. I have looked after my daughter's two cats when she had to go away for work. They both have very different personalities; one likes to play for a short while and then likes to be left, whereas the other cat likes to play a lot. I am available 5 days a week and would dedicate one hour with each pet per day.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and the care I give to every pet as if they were my own. I’ve grown up around cats, so I’ve always understood their different personalities, routines, and the patience they need to feel comfortable. A few years ago, I adopted a cat who needed a loving home, which made me even more passionate about providing a safe, caring environment for animals. Over the years, I’ve also looked after the cats of family and friends while they’ve been away, making sure they stick to their usual routines and receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I know that every cat is different, some love company, while others prefer their own space and I’m happy to adapt my care to suit each cat’s individual needs. My priority is always making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: My parents and grandparents had cats while I grew up but I only got into looking after them when my parents got an older Tabby after I had finished University. They went on holiday while I was living at home and working locally. I would get up, feed the cat and walk the dog before work and then again when I got home. The cat, Tilly bonded with me. Despite my parents being home or my job changing, Tilly would come to my door 7am every morning and meow at the door till the day she died. I recently moved to Lincoln and as part of the move my wife and I rescued two kittens from a litter of unwanted cats from a farm. The kittens are now adult cats named Mildred and Enid after The Worst Witch characters.

Sarah and her husband are a lovely couple with a lovely house and a lovely garden. The place is a very nippy drive from the centre of Lincoln and you get stunning views of the Cathedral on the way. They clearly adore animals and Sparky had a wonderful time. I wasn't expecting her to be walked because Sparky is very strong willed and rarely allows anyone else but me to walk her. However, Sarah struck up a strong rapport and did take her out. Brilliant care and very happy with all she did for her whilst I was working. An easy 5 star rating.

My little Moose had the best day! He made a true friend,Angus (Joanna's dog). Joanne and her partners communication was excellent throughout Moose's stay, we got plenty of pictures and videos, where we saw our puppy really enjoy spending time with them and Angus. I definitely reccomend and will absolutely be using them again! Once again thankyou for making his day brilliant 🥰

Doug has returned tired and happy from his day with Hannah! We had not been able meet Hannah in advance but she was more than accommodating and was super friendly and easy going. It was a hot day so I requested that Doug not be walked but he had access to play and toilet in the garden. We were visiting the area from a fair distance away but if we were ever local again I would book Hannah. I would highly recommend her for doggy care. Thanks Hannah!

About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, my own 2 (Husky/Akita's) are 10 years old and I've had them since they were 10 weeks old I work from my laptop so am usually available whenever and wherever so long as WiFi is available. Both weekdays and weekends (with enough notice) I would visit the owners House before agreeing to look after anyone's cherished pets, whilst there we would talk about feeding/schedules/behaviour/anything I need to know. The aim is to provide the same that the pet is used to and treat them like family

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 5 years old, when my parents adopted our first rescue border collie. Since then, I have grown up with three other rescue dogs, providing me with a wide range of experience with different personalities, natures and needs. I have cared for young active dogs who need plenty of play, rescue dogs with nervous temperaments who require patience and reassurance and senior dogs that need comfort, peace and a slower pace. My dog, Toffee, was diagnosed with CCLD, and I played an active role in managing her care, recovery plan and medications. This taught me how important consistency and routines are for for pets that need that little bit of extra support. I also have plenty of experience dog sitting for family and friends, and have cared for cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I would love the opportunity to help more loving owners by providing caring, reliable and attentive pet care :) I am currently available most weekdays and weekends, with a flexible schedule. I live with my two parents who are very welcoming pet-lovers themselves. I have one 10-year-old female golden retriever, who lives at a slightly slower pace, but still loves to play. I have a fenced garden and spacious living areas, and your pet will have freedom to roam. I live close to lots of lovely fields, with plenty of room to run around.

About: As a lifelong pet owner myself, I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet loves adventures, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and at home. 🐾❤️ Healthcare professionals can leave their dog with me for their 12hour+ shifts. I am a nurse and I understand the difficulties in accessing daycare that works for you. _________________ Important: As I have my own dog, I can only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in my care, dogs must be neutered/spayed. I also require a meet and greet before any booking to ensure the dogs are comfortable with each other and that your pet will be happy, relaxed, and safe in my home. I carefully manage introductions and household spaces so that all animals in my care can feel safe, relaxed, and secure. I live with my dog, Simba, and my 17-year-old cat, Tiger, so my routine naturally revolves around caring for them, including walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, grooming, and making sure they are happy and comfortable. I work at an hospital, and my pet-sitting availability varies weekly so please check my calender. I’m used to planning my days around animals’ needs and routines, and I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and companionship. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and caring for them is something I do because I love it, not just as a service. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, affection, and care while they’re with me. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in my home, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced garden for dogs to enjoy supervised outdoor time, and my home is a calm, pet-friendly environment. For added security, I also have CCTV covering the property. I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, routines, and any specific requirements. I understand that pets can feel unsettled when away from home, so I do my best to maintain their usual routine and provide plenty of attention, reassurance, and enrichment. I live with my friendly dog, Simba, and my 17-year-old cat, Tiger, so I’m experienced in managing a multi-pet household and recognising individual needs and personalities. I’ll ensure pets are fed, exercised, kept company, and cared for according to their normal routine, while also providing updates and photos for peace of mind. 🐾❤️

About: After a health scare & with my boys being much older now, I completed an Animal Care course to gain additional knowledge in animal care. I had a Westie for 16 years & now have a Havachon that we have had for 10 years now. I have built up a good sized portfolio of regular dogs & cats through BARK providing walks, pop ins & stays. *Additional customer reviews can be found on BARK. I am available in the week to walk & the week/weekend to provide pop in visits & day stays at my house. I do go over to France four times per year as we have a small house out there, but this would be discussed with the pet owners. I am offering dog walking, pop ins & day visits to my house. I have a large house & a good sized garden which is fenced & gated with no way to escape. I take my own dog Lola over to another village where there is a lovely long lane where we walk. I have now built up a good sized client base & so I would plan accordingly with your dog or cat & my regular clients.

About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes—from tiny Chihuahuas to lovable Golden Retrievers—I’ve developed a deep understanding of each dog’s unique personality and needs. My journey started when my brother brought home a puppy, and caring for him quickly became second nature. Since then, I’ve become the go-to sitter for friends, family, and local pet owners who value my reliability, frequent updates, and genuine love for dogs. What sets me apart is that I’m home full-time during the week, giving your dog plenty of attention, long walks, and companionship throughout the day. I treat every dog like family and strive to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Being home all day every day means pet care naturally fits into my routine. I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, regular walks, and a calm, consistent environment throughout the day. Whether it’s sticking to a specific feeding schedule, providing company and playtime, or just being a reassuring presence, I’m here for it. My flexible schedule also means I can often help out at short notice—perfect for last-minute plans or unexpected changes. Your dog will never feel like they’re waiting for company—I’m here, ready, and happy to welcome them in. Safety and trust are at the heart of how I care for every pet. Whether I’m welcoming your dog into my home or looking after them in yours, I treat them with the same level of attention and care I’d give my own. In my home, I create a calm, dog-friendly space where pets can feel secure and relaxed, with plenty of love, structure, and supervised time outdoors. If I’m in your home, I respect your space and routines, making sure your pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment. I keep things clean, follow instructions carefully, and provide regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. My goal is to make your time away stress-free—for both you and your pet.

About: I've always loved animals, ever since we got our first family dog when I was little. I am drawn to animals and would provide your pet with so much love and care when looking after them! I also grew up with cats and love them dearly. I have dogsitted for family and friends before, both big and small dogs. I am very responsible and would keep you up to date on how your pet is doing. I'm currently a student at the university of Lincoln, but due to the nature of my course a full time or part time job doesn't really work with placements and lectures! I live in the city so can walk or drive if further afield. I am happy to follow whatever rules you have in place to keep your pet safe and calm. I am a big fan of written instructions and will follow any provided very carefully.

About: I’m Blu! I have been studying animal care since collage and study animal behaviour and welfare at uni! Iv had many pets through my life and always love meeting new fuzzy friends. I have worked in dog kennels and groomers along with reptile shops. I’m happy to work with any breed and behaviours and try and work on some training if wanted! Unfortunately due to student housing I am not able to take in any pets but can visit and play for a while! I am currently unemployed and have nothing to do!! At home I have a pet snake and use to have a dog who I lost to diabetes but had a verity of pets over the years. Now a days I have lots of free time (which I spend doing art) so same day calls will be no problem as I’m free most days. I use to spend a lot of time exploring with my pup, seeing new wooded places but also getting him use to loud areas. We worked on recall so when I saw him sniffing something to eat or roll in he would instead focus on me. Iv worked with many animals over the years including cat and dog behaviour training. What’s important to me is learning who I’m with and what personality they have, whether they prefer a chill cuddle or an excited play I’m down for whatever makes them happy!

About: I have taken care of animals both in my own home, and in family and friends houses. Most notably I have looked after Guide Dogs who are in training. Therefore, I have gained experience in how to look after, walk, stick to a routine and most importantly play with dogs and puppies in order to prepare them to go to Guide Dog training school. I am currently in my Second year at the University of Lincoln. Therefore, I can be flexible around my lesson times and especially on the weekends to care and play with your dogs! I have had experience caring for many different dogs so know that every dog is different, has different abilities and needs. I would aim to follow the dogs usual routine but can be flexible to match their current needs.

About: So far I have had 20yrs of pet care experience with both my own pets and other people’s. I have looked after a range of animals such as dogs, cats, small animals etc. I aim to make animals feel comfortable in my care and, when boarding, my home is their home. I’m always happy to give pet owners regular updates and pictures to give them piece of mind while their pet is with me and I enjoy building a good rapport with both pet and owner. Age isn’t a factor when looking after any animals, I have previously fostered new born kittens and I’ve also looked after senior dogs and cats so I’m comfortable with all ages. Thanks for reading this and I hope to hear from you in the future. I currently work from home Monday to Friday and only have to go in the office occasionally for a short period of time once a month. This is great as my schedule is very flexible. I attend classes for a hour on a Monday and Tuesday night and if your dog is comfortable I'm happy to have them on these nights but please let me know if your dog doesn't like to be left alone. I have a fenced back garden and live in a semi detached house on a quiet street. I don't have any pets currently so your dog will have my undivided attention.

About: I have grown up around dogs and regularly have my mum’s dog to stay for up to 2 weeks at a time. I trained my family dog when she was a puppy and continue to recap her commands with her. I also have looked after my friends cats when she goes away by checking in a few times a day to feed and play with the cats and ensure they get time to go outside. I am a hybrid worker so have the flexibility to wfh. My hours are flexible so I can ensure I take dogs on long walks during my lunch break and that they are fed and played with at periods throughout the day. I have a fenced garden with plenty of grass and space to go to the toilet and run around. I live at the end of a cul-de-sac so very safe area with no cars passing by and a main road is a bit of a walk away. About: I’m a true dog lover, if there is a party I’m the first to sit with a dog and have a comfortable chat, and pat. I was very fortunate to have 17 years with my first baby, a miniature schnauzer, who I adored. The last 5 years of his life required a lot of extra care due to heart problems, and extreme sensitivity to most food. That being said, I’m good at giving medication, and have the extra patience and perseverance to make sure the dog has his proper medication in a calm, loving way. Before my dog was poorly, he was a high energetic gentleman, who loved his 3-4 walks a day. I through enjoy a pets company and like them to feel comfortable, and pampered when in my care. I am the first to volunteer to furbaby sit if any of my friends are going away, and have asked friends if I could borrow their dogs for a nice walk. I currently work remotely (at home during the day) and have two young children in their first years of school. Working from home lets me be a companion with your pet, with breaks for play, breaks in the outdoor garden area, and a nice walk (or two). I have a small high stoned wall garden with a patch of grass, and I always walk with a lead when on public pathways, usually in quiet neighbourhoods, or public parks.

About: Hi there! I am a law student at the University of Lincoln. However, I have always had a passion for taking care of amazing animals! I have always loved dogs and I have owned 4 beautiful dogs throughout my lifetime with my family. I have had previous experience working alongside another dog sitter Emily Kennedy in Leigh-on-Sea. We both shared clients and took care of a range of different dogs. This experience taught me a lot about dogs and myself! It taught me how much I love animals and how to care for them. I currently have a dog of my own named chase as well as a tortoise named Mint! I have lots of experience with all kinds of animals and treat them all with kindness and respect. If you give me the chance to take care of your pets I can assure you you’ll be very happy with my service! I look forward to meeting you and your lovely dog. 😊 I’m available for all week days and weekends currently as my second year has came to an end and even during 3rd year I will still have a lot of availability! When I start my third year I will update my availability to make it easier to book with me.😊 When caring for your pets I will take them on walks for as long as you would like as requested. If you live near to me we have a range of local parks or grassy areas perfect for dogs! These areas are perfect for a run around and play! However I am open to all ideas and suggestions regarding your dog. As it’s important to keep a nice routine so your dog doesn’t feel stressed or uncomfortable. If you have booked for me to stay with you’re pets in your home during the day or overnight I will make sure I have walked and fed them and made sure they’ve had the best time while you are gone! I will make sure all of your loving pets are safe and happy as well as listen to any requests you may have as the owner. This is to make sure you’re dog and you are happy and feel in good safe hands!

About: I’ve had dogs almost constantly since I was 7, of all sizes and temperaments, with a particularly fondness for greyhounds/lurchers. Have looked after friends’ dogs over the last few years too. Currently in between jobs, when I do work it will be part time. Husband currently works from home so almost always someone in the house. Like to travel and be active at weekends so weekdays work better currently. We have a small secure fenced garden with a large park and other field areas nearby for plenty of sniffs and longer walks. Teenage daughter at home who has always been around dogs. Currently have our own beagle who is fairly chilled; happy to not leave any visiting dogs on their own with her if preferred. We do live in a 3 storey house with the living room on the first floor so dogs need to be OK with stairs.

About: I have recently lost my 11 year old labradoodle who was my shadow. The house is very empty now and would love to help someone else out to give their dog the best life it can have. I am very flexible with dates and can adapt my part time work as required. I generally work from home and am able to have a dog with me. I also like to take the dog out for a coffee or beer when I am not working but will have a walk out at lunchtime in any case if working. Your dog could sit by me in my office or basically go where he/she likes (bed/garden) 😀 I work 10 days a month from home (mostly) and can change my days within reason. If I am working, your dog can sit in my office or go basically wherever they want in the house/garden. I will walk your dog morning, lunch and evening or as required, whatever they are used to.I can be available at short notice and will do what I can to help out. I am at home with my wife, both daughters have flown the nest. My garden is very secure and your dog will have the freedom of the house. No problem to sleep on the sofa or the bed if that’s preferred 😀 Our garden looks out onto our allotment where my dog used to sit and watch the wildlife go by.

About: Council licences, qualified in pet care and first aid, dbs checked and insured. Offering a true ‘home from home’ experience. I devote myself to your animals, and am available to look after your dogs at anytime. Both my dogs love being with other dogs… they’re fully used to other dogs in the house as all of my family has a dog so the house often has up to 5 dogs in it, plus now all the boarding dogs we have. I can cater to any requirements. Offering a genuine animal-loving household with many years of hands-on experience. Having raised a Shih Tzu and a high-energy working Cocker Spaniel from puppies (now 11 and 2), and also had cats, horses, fish and chameleons. I am very active and used to meeting different needs — my Cocker Spaniel enjoys daily long countryside walks/ runs i take him on, often up to 7 miles, while my Shih Tzu follows a calmer routine due to being older and gets up to 30mins of walking in the evening. My dogs are friendly, well socialised, and comfortable around other dogs. Having boarded very wide range of dogs which have all become very quickly a part of our family, sleeping with us if necessary and always enjoying cuddles in the sofa in the evening. I am fully available and able to dedicate plenty of time, care, and attention to your pets. I understand every pet is part of the family and am always happy to follow individual routines to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. I have completed a diploma in pet sitting and dog walking which has given me the training and knowledge required to cater to your animals needs. Being at home weekends and all school holidays (and time in between)means no pet will be left alone for more than 3hrs. I have fully trained my spaniel from a puppy, he is able to follow many commands and regularly goes to dog shows. During school holidays (17wks) and weekends I am fully available at home consistently to be here and look after your pets. I will be home 24/7 and can walk dogs as much as required over whatever turf they’re used to. Fully enclosed large back garden with high fencing, including many pet agility jumps, hoops etc . About: my family have had an encyclopaedia of animals since I was a baby, from dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, cockatiels, love birds, Tropical fish, rabbits and Guinea pigs. I am now currently in my 30s with 2 children and 2 of the most energetic loving border collies. I often take care of all my families pets when they are away on holiday. I have had the rare opportunity of looking after my brothers chicks, from egg to chick to juvenile. I am currently working part time trying to make my way in the animal business, I have 2 children who are currently at school so am available from 9:30 am to 2:45pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday to play and have fun with your pets. Weekends are strictly family time. For walking I ensure I have lots of suitable treats, and an on the go water bottle ready for your pet and those long journeys we will take, along with very sturdy leads! My dogs love to pull because of their breed, so I make sure only to use the best of the best. I have a cushioned base in my car for comfort and suitable safety harnesses for the drive, because a walk around the block is just simply not suitable all the time. Accompanied with a long line lead, to build and develop that trust, so your dog can run but stay safe.

James is absolutely fantastic with our rescue dog Gary. I was worried about handing him over to someone as he is not the easiest dog to deal with as we believe he has had a very difficult life, James has made a very strong bond with him and is very caring and capable of looking after our looney pup! He is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. Seeing the photos each day has been great too! We would highly recommend James to anyone.

About: Myself and my partner, Jonah, have cared for many dogs after using borrow my doggy, caring for neighbours dogs and on Rover. The longest we cared for a 4 legged friend was 3 months, he left such a large hole in our lives that we adopted hula 3 years ago. We love taking Hula and borrowed dogs on long walkies so your pup would be in great hands for walkies and playtime. We believe that if the dogs pawrents 🐾 are on holiday, so should they. So we try to do fun and exciting activities when I looking after dogs. Such as beach days, ice cream dates and trips into town. Im currently a student and spend most days at home with Hula (Jonah) so would love to spend time with more dogs. My partner (Jess) works full time but is off at weekends to go walkies and have playtime. We have a garden with a 6ft fence/high walls so dogs cant escape, and am happy to put dogs in separate rooms or in a crate depending on your dogs needs. But we allow Hula in all rooms in the house and feel that dogs should be allowed where the humans are.

About: I have grown up around dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. As a dog owner myself—to two wonderful French Bulldogs—I fully understand the love, patience, and attention to detail that pets need to feel safe and happy while their owners are away. I offer both house sitting and dog walking services, making sure your pets maintain their regular routines, feeding schedules, and exercise habits. Whether it’s energetic play, relaxed walks, or just cozy companionship at home, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Having experience with smaller breeds like Frenchies, as well as larger dogs from my upbringing, I’m comfortable handling different temperaments and care requirements. You can rest easy knowing your home and pets are in safe, loving, and reliable hands—with plenty of updates and photos along the way! I am available evenings weekends and some weekdays. I structure my day around giving pets the dedicated time and attention they need. Whether I am house sitting or dropping by for walks, pet care is my primary focus during bookings. My schedule allows for regular walking times, consistent feeding schedules, play, and plenty of quality downtime. I am always happy to adjust my routine to match your dog's specific needs, ensuring they stay on their normal daily schedule while you are away. Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. When house sitting or walking, I follow all owner instructions precisely—including meal routines, leash protocols, and house rules. I make sure spaces are kept secure, maintain clear communication throughout the stay, and send regular photo updates. Having my own two Frenchies, I am very attuned to safety, heat sensitivity, and keeping dogs comfortable and calm in their familiar environment.

About: A former veterinarian now clinical animal behaviour student at the University of Lincoln with 10+ years of pet care experience across multiple species. Experience with petsitting and providing medical care to animals before the start of my veterinary career then moved to a dedicated veterinary practice for the last 8 years. I love being around animals and just watching and caring for them brings me so much joy! Through my recent education, have developed a better understanding of pet and this aids my motivation to be a pet sitter as I feel like with my experience and knowledge, I would make the experience for the pet wholesome and pleasurable and this in turn would help pet owners to be at easy that their pet is in good hands. I consider myself friendly, open and honest when it comes to my interactions with the pet owners and believe it is important to keep clear communication between us while also making sure they get timely updates and pictures of their pets. I understand this even more as I myself have had pets all through my life and even seeing a photo of them can bring me so much joy. Currently, I own 2 senior dogs, 1 rabbit and a newt back home but in the past I have also owned cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fishes and birds. I currently live on rent in a house with a dog so I cannot keep animals in my accomodation so would be looking to exclusively pet sit through overnight stays or drop-in visits. I can provide overnight stays on all days. Drop in visits through the day, all days of the week. Walks included in visits usually but would require a trial walk before the visit. I cannot bring pets in my accomodation. At a pet owner's home I can follow any practices the pet is used to whether it is being left in a crate or a specific area of the house before I leave. I can also provide medical care and follow routine and specific medical instructions if needed. I also accommodate requests for watering plants and any other specific house care instructions if within my capacity. I am adaptable and resourceful with my methods and would make any experience for the pet a positive one with keeping comfort and happiness as a priority. I also find it very important that the pet's routine should be as similar to what the owner's would normally do if they were home making it minimally stressful for the pet.

Jo and Helen were first class with Bailey. We were worried about leaving him as he hadn’t been very well and needed medication but we had no reason to. Jo and Helen took good care of him and giving him his meds didn’t phase them at all. We had full confidence in them and will definitely be using them again. Thank you!

Archie had a lovely time with Jessica and Jonah and their dog Hula. It was a last minute booking but that wasn’t a problem. Jessica sent regular updates and photos and I know Archie was in very good hands. A lovely couple who genuinely care for their four-legged lodgers! Will definitely use again next time. Thank you so much!

Sarah came to my rescue during a difficult time that meant needing short notice care of my dad's dog. She was incredibly understanding that Bruno was very anxious in the circumstances he was in and went above and beyond to help him settle. She gave me regular updates to make sure I didn't worry about him. I couldn't recommend her more.

So happy to have found Linnet for my first use of Rover. Linnet looked after my 2 dogs for 3 days and they absolutely loved their time with her. Plenty of updates and photos were provided during their stay giving ultimate reassurance. Linnet was really accommodating for both dogs, one of which can be slightly nervous and fussy at dinner times. Two very tired and happy dogs at the end of their stay!

It was a pleasure to meet with Laura and Jack enjoyed his short stay in her lovely home. Laura keep us updated with pictures of Jack which was reassuring. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up arrangements which help us tremendously with our arrangements. I would have hesitation in recommending Laura and would be pleased for her to look after Jack again.

About: Hi all, My name is Raquel and I am Canine Behaviourist. I have my small Business called Treat and Trail - Canine Wellness where I offer training along other services. In addition, I worked as an assistant Canine Behaviourist at Fern Ember Dog Behaviourist. My approach follows the Thinking-Dog method, build around making all pups feel comfortable, calm and connected. The idea behind this is all about the dog’s wellbeing, their safety and comfort. I previously worked as a dog walker during my time as a student, specialising in high-energetic dogs, tailoring walks to their needs and combining running sessions with enrichment activities. I owned different breeds and temperaments, from puppies to adults and seniors, including reactive dogs. Furthermore, I am comfortable with big boisterous dogs, small fearful dogs or socially anxious dogs. All of them deserve to enjoy a caring space with free of judgement where their only concern is about how much fun and care will receive. I have full availability and can take care of your canine companions. I own my home and I only share it with my two-years-old staffy cross, Freya. We are big adventure explorers and love finding muddy walks, climbing, swimming, running and jumping obstacles. I completely understand how nerve-racking it is to leave your dog with a stranger, either for an hour or a night. For this reason, my approach would always be to include a free of charge meet and greet with the dog parents, take a walk in the area together and discuss all your concerns. My priority is for your dog and yourself to feel relaxed and trust that your dog is in good hands. Additionally, I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have a fenced garden with lovely views to the dog park. My dog, Freya, and I are less than 10 minutes to the common, and we are ready for an adventure, as mentioned. If your dog is staying a night, we will need to prearrange a meeting with my dog, Freya and trial night to understand if your dog feels comfortable and wants social interactions. If booking my services as a dog-walker, I will take your dog individually if requested.

About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember! Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and even stick insects! (don't ask - my poor Mum!) I'm also available for overnight boarding at the weekend too. I have a fenced garden and plenty of open space around us to stretch our legs and get a change of scenery. In your home I will follow your usual routine for feeding, play, medication etc.
