Emma looked after our little Bonnie for the 2 weeks we were away in Greece, we loved receiving daily updates & photos which gave us so much reassurance & made us smile every day we were away. Bonnie loved spending time with Emma's 2 dogs, Chip & Bobby, going on regular walks with them which was so lovely for her, she had so much fun with them. Seeing Bonnie so happy & content meant the world to us. Emma treated Bonnie like one of her own, giving her so much love, care & attention. She was happy, settled & clearly very well looked after. It's obvious how much Emma genuinely loves dogs. She was amazing & we can't thank her enough! We would highly recommend Emma to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, loving & caring to look after their dog.

Our dog, Isla, has just had her first overnight stay with Joe and Helen. First impressions are excellent. Both Joe and Helen are very experienced in looking after dogs with quirks! Photos were shared during her stay and it was obvious from these that Isla was very relaxed and had made herself at home. We will definitely book Joe and Helen again. Huge thanks 😊

Frank stayed with Colin and his family for over a week. As always he was wonderfully well looked after. We received daily photos and updates which we really appreciated. Colin took particular care to make sure Frank was kept cool during the hot weather. As always, a big thank you to Colin and his family we look forward to seeing them again with Frank.

About: I’ve had dogs almost constantly since I was 7, of all sizes and temperaments, with a particularly fondness for greyhounds/lurchers. Have looked after friends’ dogs over the last few years too. Currently in between jobs, when I do work it will be part time. Husband currently works from home so almost always someone in the house. Like to travel and be active at weekends so weekdays work better currently. We have a small secure fenced garden with a large park and other field areas nearby for plenty of sniffs and longer walks. Teenage daughter at home who has always been around dogs. Currently have our own beagle who is fairly chilled; happy to not leave any visiting dogs on their own with her if preferred. We do live in a 3 storey house with the living room on the first floor so dogs need to be OK with stairs.

About: We are a friendly couple who will take care of your pet in our home whilst you are away. We lost our own pooch a couple of years ago and her passing certainly left a massive hole. I work from home 4 days a week and one in the office and will make sure you’re loved one is never left alone. Happy to go on short or long walks with your pets, whatever they enjoy. Will happily give medication if required, this is something we have experience in when looking after our own pooch. Currently work from home 4 days a week so your pet will never be never feel lonely. Also allows me to get out as frequently as needed for walks / garden play. I have a small fenced garden but we are abundant with fields and great walks where we live. Whether it’s playing with a ball or just a walk around the field on a lead, I’m happy to accommodate.

Brandy and Colin were incredible. We had booked them quite last minute to look after Maggie for our wedding. Communication was excellent, lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. They went above and beyond by bringing Maggie to our wedding reception so we could get some professional photos with her. Walking into our reception with a drink in hand to be surprised with Maggie running about is a memory we will forever treasure. We would 100% recommend booking with Brandy, thank you so much!

When they looked after them it was my wedding day and we was unsure about leaving the dogs but honestly we felt 100% happy and comfortable doing so and our wedding day was so relaxed with us knowing our dogs was safe and looked after!

Annette and Jamie once again could not have taken better care of our little Rascal. He is about 8 months old and he has come home calm happy and has been cared for and given lots of love and hugs. Annette sent updates every day of hie he was doing work pictures and this made it so easy to relax as they're the kindest people. Their dog Tinker is a lovely sweet boy too. They even spoiled him with a new bed as he loved the one Tinker had. Highly recommend and will be using again when we next go away. Thank you both so much for looking after our boy so well. X

Booked last minute as was let down, very friendly upon booking and drop off. Brilliant with my dogs considering one is very nervous and the other is a little jumpy sometimes. Sent a beautiful photo the next day and put my mind at ease (first time leaving them with anyone) within half an hour of drop off. Both dogs seemed chilled out when picked up and Rocket even wanted to stay. Would highly recommend xx

Neil is a very friendly, helpful man. When I first enquired about leaving our dog with Neil, he was able to rearrange his commitments to make it possible. He had already gone the extra mile before we made the reservation. When we dropped Walnut off with him, Neil gave as a very warm reception and we could see from who he was and how he kept his house that we had made the right choice. During Walnut’s stay, Neil sent us photo and video updates. Upon picking Walnut back up, they were snuggled together on the sofa. Neil had fallen in love with Walnut and she was totally at ease with his gentle spirit. We will now use Neil every time. We are extremely happy with everything. Thank you most sincerely.

About: I have grown up around dogs and regularly have my mum’s dog to stay for up to 2 weeks at a time. I trained my family dog when she was a puppy and continue to recap her commands with her. I also have looked after my friends cats when she goes away by checking in a few times a day to feed and play with the cats and ensure they get time to go outside. I am a hybrid worker so have the flexibility to wfh. My hours are flexible so I can ensure I take dogs on long walks during my lunch break and that they are fed and played with at periods throughout the day. I have a fenced garden with plenty of grass and space to go to the toilet and run around. I live at the end of a cul-de-sac so very safe area with no cars passing by and a main road is a bit of a walk away. I allow pets on the sofa and have a plenty of blankets to cover furniture with so don’t mind them jumping up.

About: I have always had dogs and cats in the house until last month when my 23 yr old cat died. I don’t want another dog/cat of my own because, having recently retired, I am at that stage of life when I can travel whenever I want to however, I already miss the companionship that an animal brings to a home and feel that giving your dog a home from home experience will serve two purposes; firstly it will give you piece of mind that your dog is being lovingly cared for and secondly it will fulfil a need in me without impacting my wanderlust! The experience I can offer is purely from having my own pets, all of whom were rescued, the first being back in 1994 when I adopted my first dog from Battersea Dogs home. During my career I have held positions of responsibility within the RAF, local Education and most recently the NHS before retirement. I am recently retired and are therefore mostly at home which means that your dog would have all the love, fuss and company it needs. I have a large walled garden most of which is laid to grass. Unfortunately I have had to remove the gates as they were rotten so there is open access to the garden. In the interests of safety, I would ensure that your dog is kept on the lead whilst outside. I live on a one way, single lane street in a quiet area of the village with immediate access to some great country walks which I am looking forward to exploring more.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with dogs as a child (picture of my first dog, Murphy, attached!) and also to have my own dogs for the past 8 years - both big and small in breed. The handsome dachshund in my photos is Buzz, who loved nothing more than to come on adventures and squirrel hunt. A couple of years ago I adopted Olive and Willow from Turkey, the two beautiful girls next to me in my profile photo. They’re the most extravagant souvenirs I think I will ever bring back from a holiday! I found them whilst in Turkey with my family. They’d been abandoned as puppies and Willow in particular was in a terrible state, so weak she couldn’t even stand. Fast forward 4 months of them quarantining with a lovely Turkish family, going through all the required tests and checks, posing for a passport photo and road tripping across Europe - they finally arrived to their forever home with me in Lincoln in December 2023. The change in them has been amazing to watch and they’re now happy, confident, obedient, loving, hilarious - and mischievous! There were some tough moments for us all whilst they settled in and decompressed, but seeing what time, patience and love has done for them has been incredible and I couldn’t imagine my life without them. My mum says I’m obsessed with them, and I am! Olive and Willow are Anatolian Shepherd mix and have therefore given me experience caring for and handling larger breeds. Last year Willow was sadly diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia (as a result of her bad start in life) for which she has had daily medication and recently undergone total hip replacement surgery. I therefore also have experience in catering for medical needs and administering medication. I am also able to cater to any dietary requirements - including giving supplements. My pets are part of my family and I do all I can to give them the best life possible and reciprocate the unconditional love they give to me. I understand that you often need support to look after a pet, particularly around work and other personal commitments, and have used dog walking services for my own pets for many years. I therefore know how daunting it can be to trust someone else with your pets care, safety and happiness, how important it is to find the right person and what qualities are needed - kindness, patience, resilience, honesty, reliability. I promise to treat your pet/s with the same care and love as I do my own. I have also experience caring for cats, tortoises, fish, hamsters, rabbits, and chickens. I am in the process of a career change and therefore fortunate to currently have a very flexible schedule. Your pet will therefore be my sole priority during my visit, walk or stay with them. I will always do my best to accommodate the times and schedules that suit you and your pet/s best and ensure their normal routine and schedule is adhered to as far as possible. I will care for your pet as if they were my own, and always prioritise their safety, happiness and wellbeing. Before caring for your pet under any service, I will arrange a meet and greet to introduce myself and discuss what you would, or wouldn’t like me to do during any booking so there is transparency and to ensure that I’m the right fit for you and your pet/s. I will care for and respect your home during any visit and give you regular updates.

About: I have loved, adored and cared for various four-legged friends including my very own cocker spaniel Ellie; this has included all breeds small, large and of all ages. Now that I have recently moved and no longer own a canine of my own, I am ready to give all my love and cuddles to your best friend, from drop-in visits, to adventurous walks that are pawfect for your pooch. My promise is to meet all your dogs need while your away, as I understand no dog is the same; this I believe is what makes them the very best companions and truly man's best friend, with all their wonder, and their love for life and those around them ... can it really get any better than seeing that smile on your dog's face. I currently work as a practice nurse on Monday - Fridays. Meaning that my weekends are fully available with no commitments to tend to your four legged friend! I will ensure to follow your rules, and will have a pre visit with every owner to set out the expectations you have. I will send regular pictures and updates when walking or visiting your dog, so that you can be at ease while your away and know that your best friend is safe.

About: It is well known that cats are the real rulers of this world and we humans are just their humble servants. If you are looking for someone to serve your fluffy prince or princess you have come to the right place! I am a married lady in her 30's, currently serving one fluffy domestic short-hair princess called Luna. I am known by my friends and family as the typical crazy cat lady who "chases" every single cat she sees outside and begs them for cuddles, and meows even in her sleep...! I never had a cat up until 2021 but I always loved them and their company. I remember every summer during childhood spending most of of the time in the garden of the house around the corner who was always full of old and young cats and kittens. My parents certainly never worried about where I was! Nowadays, Luna is my world, my happiness, my friend. She is a blessing and plays a crucial part to mine and my husband's wellbeing and so is every single cat I meet out there as they clearly make my day and teach me how to be pure and innocent (and funnily silly!) during everyday life. I may not have experience in caring for other people's cats yet but I can reassure you that your prince or princess will receive the service and care they deserve!

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! I’ve spent over 20 years caring for cats of all kinds—from confident cuddle bugs to shy, independent souls. I understand their routines, quirks, and the importance of a calm, respectful approach. Whether it’s feeding, litter changes, medication, or just keeping them company while you’re away, I’ll treat your cat like one of my own. My partner Scott is also a cat lover and often helps out with drop-ins, especially when extra fuss or backup is needed. We're both committed to making sure your feline friend feels safe and cared for in your absence. I’m reliable, tidy, and always happy to send updates so you can relax while you're away.

Rachel is a lovely, caring, flexible and conscientious sitter who made my boy feel so totally at home that he didn't give a monkeys about me leaving him. She was brilliant at sending photos and updates and I knew he was in good hands all day. And she's just a really nice person as well :)

Sarah and her husband are a lovely couple with a lovely house and a lovely garden. The place is a very nippy drive from the centre of Lincoln and you get stunning views of the Cathedral on the way. They clearly adore animals and Sparky had a wonderful time. I wasn't expecting her to be walked because Sparky is very strong willed and rarely allows anyone else but me to walk her. However, Sarah struck up a strong rapport and did take her out. Brilliant care and very happy with all she did for her whilst I was working. An easy 5 star rating.

Thanks so much to Natalie and Elliot for having George for the day. They are obviously natural dog lovers. They sent updates and photos throughout the day, which was very reassuring as I could see what a lovely time George was having. He’s come home and crashed out straight away. I think he’s had a great day! 😊

About: I have had cats for 16 years, in the house resides 1 indoor car and 2 who go in and out. I have had dogs as a child but the two littlies I have are 8 and 3. They all have very different levels of bounce and chatter. Oh and I do have a 15 year old who would adopt every pet possible if he could, so extra cuddles are available. I am currently assessing my options regarding my next career, so am available most of the time. I have numerous rooms to give space to any pet that needs it and have a garden that they can chase around too. Walking will be in line with owners expectations. So let me know what your pet needs. I have a fenced garden and have two little dogs and the 3 cats. And a gecko. I can accommodate crates if you bring them.

About: Hello! My name is Sara, I'm an Italian translator and I've been living in Lincoln for 14 years. I've had dogs my entire life (4 at the same time, at one point!). My beloved 13yo cavapoo, Mia, passed away in June 2024, leaving a gaping hole in my life that I'm now eager to fill by looking after other people's dogs. Mia was on heart medication for the last 2 years of her life, so I have extensive experience in administering tablets to dogs and taking care of any other special needs senior dogs may have (frequent toilet breaks, shorter walks, etc.). Conversely, I can also look after younger, more energetic dogs: I regularly walk Reggie, a 1-year-old black Labrador who's extremely full of energy (as you'd expect from a Labrador pup!), as well as several young cockapoos, spaniels and Cavalier King Charles. I'm a very active person who loves the outdoors - I'm a keen runner and hiker, so you can rest assured your dog will get all the exercise they need whilst in my care! I am FULLY INSURED as a dog sitter, which means you can have 100% peace of mind whenever I am walking your dog or taking care of them, either in my home or at yours. Your dog will always be the ONLY dog I look after (unless you have more than one dog living together, of course!). I believe every pooch deserves my undivided attention at all times, and that's exactly what they'll get whilst in my care. Would you like your dog to socialise more? No problem, I have friends who live nearby who are always happy to go for a walk with their lovely, well-behaved dogs, so that your pup can make new friends and get used to other pups and to being in social settings. I have recently taken sweet Rita on a long walk that culminated with Sunday lunch at the Pyewipe and she absolutely loved it! Not to mention Renzo getting all the attention at Caffè Portico during a coffee break 🥰 I live in central Lincoln and work from home. I'm self-employed and own a car, both of which give me maximum flexibility. If you need someone to stay in your house to ensure your dogs' comfort and avoid stressing them out in a new environment, I'm happy to work from your home. I can also look after them in my own house - I have a secure courtyard with a locked gate and my house is obviously dog-friendly. I'm happy for your dog to spend time on all of my soft furnishings with me, if that's what they're used to, and they will have access to every room in the house, so they can explore as they please and find the perfect spot to relax and feel comfortable in. Additionally, I'm happy to pop in for a quick visit to check on your dogs during the day and/or take them out for a long walk while you're at work. And, if it's cuddles they crave, there's plenty of those waiting for them! I absolutely love dogs and can't wait to give them all the attention they need and deserve. Do get in touch and let's get to know each other. I'd love to become someone your dog loves and looks forward to spending time with! I'm self-employed and work from home, so I'm extremely flexible in terms of schedule and location I can work from. I own a car and am happy to travel. I have a secure, enclosed courtyard with a locked, tall gate to keep your dog safe. I'd also never leave your dogs outside on their own - I always supervise them while they're outside to make sure they're safe.

About: I have always grown up with dogs and I have experienced both young pups and seniors alike. From energetic puppies to calmer seniors; puppy puddles to senior incontinence. I have experienced the wide spectrum of a dog’s life and changing needs and I am happy to accommodate your dog’s needs as necessary, including administering medication, if required. Dogs are not pets to me - they are our family members and our precious babies. I will treat your dog as my own - playing with them when they want to play, giving them a cuddle when they want one and leaving them to rest when they need sleep. I will provide home from home accommodation for your dog: if they like to sit or lay on the furniture or sleep in the bedroom or the kitchen, just let me know. I have a beautiful female Cockapoo, Hettie, who is 19 months old. She is friendly and playful and loves people and dogs alike. I work from home so will be available for cuddles and toilet breaks as needed in our enclosed garden. I know how daunting getting dog care is - please rest assured that I will take great care of them. If you have any questions please do feel free to ask. Your dog will have company all day as I work from home. I will offer regular toilet breaks and playtime and cuddles. If I have your dog during a weekday, they will be walked at 8am and again at 5pm. At weekends, the walking times are more flexible and may include different routes. Please contact me if you have special requirements and I will do my best to accommodate. I work from home and have a fenced garden so your dog can have regular toilet breaks and outdoor playtime. Your dog’s comfort and safety are paramount to me. I am happy to send you regular photos/videos of your dog during the day and please do feel free to contact me at any time to check in on your fur baby. In the unlikely case that your dog becomes unwell during my care, I will not hesitate to contact you and/or take them to the vet’s if required. I want your dog to feel right at home, happy and settled. I am calm, caring and patient, and will take things at your dog’s pace. It is really important that your dog is friendly with other dogs as I have a dog at home. I will always offer a Meet & Greet beforehand so that we can ensure that this is a good match.

Doug has returned tired and happy from his day with Hannah! We had not been able meet Hannah in advance but she was more than accommodating and was super friendly and easy going. It was a hot day so I requested that Doug not be walked but he had access to play and toilet in the garden. We were visiting the area from a fair distance away but if we were ever local again I would book Hannah. I would highly recommend her for doggy care. Thanks Hannah!

About: Hello! I’m Tasmin, a lifelong animal lover, especially of dogs. Although I don’t have my own dog right now (hopefully soon!), I’d love to take care of yours!

I’m an experienced dog boarder (our home), dog and home sitter (your home) and dog walker, regularly looking after dogs of all sizes from puppies and daschunds to german shepherds and retrievers. I am happy to take care of your dog for both short and extended stays. I also offer routine walks, home visits or one-off walks when you’re unavailable for 30 minutes or longer!

I enjoy long walks, playing, and even taking naps—so I'm the perfect best friend for any dog! As a self-employed brand designer and illustrator, I’m home almost all of the day and I really love having the company of a furry friend.

 Home Boarding and Doggy Daycare
🏠 I live in a spacious three storey town house with my partner Toby (who is also self employed and also dog obsessed) and we love having dogs stay with us. We only board up to two dogs at a time and only if they are from the same family, other than this, your pup is the only dog in the house, so you can rest assured they are getting as much love and attention as possible while you're away. Our home is spacious and we don't mind sharing our soft furnishings with your pup (as long as that's the rule in your house too) should you prefer they stay in their own space we are also very comfortable ensuring we follow and maintain your household rules during their stay. Wherever we are in the house we always ensure the dogs are with us too so we can keep each other company and keep them safe.

When your dog boards with us we provide at least two hours of walking a day split into two or three walks as well as additional toilet breaks. We have the West Common, The Lawn, The Arboretum and Mount Street Gated Dog Park on our doorstep and these are the places we head to most often. We do also have a secure balcony at the property with dog friendly artificial grass which can be used for elderly dogs or dogs that may struggle to get around or that are prone to little accidents (the balcony is also perfect for the dogs that love to sunbathe *I'm looking at the sausage dogs*) During their holiday we ensure to keep to your dogs routine so they can stay as settled as possible during your time away.

🚗 If you (and your dog) are comfortable with car rides then we love to take them further afield for a trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds, a local National Trust or a beach for the day, if that is something you feel they would enjoy.
🌲🐚 I know it’s hard to leave your pup and even harder to leave them with someone new, but I'll be sure to send you photos and videos of your pet snuggled up next to me, playing, chilling in their own space or on one of their walks so you can feel reassured that they're cosy, safe and having a holiday of their own!
 House Sitting
When I house sit I will be spending time with your pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to maintain their routine, offer lots of cuddles and playtime and ensure they feel calm and secure. Due the nature of self employed work I am able to work from anywhere as long as you have wifi you don't mind me using, so I would be able to stay for the duration of your time away. I am also happy to take deliveries, collect post, water your plants (inside and out) and do small jobs around the house and garden if needed! (I like to keep busy!) I will treat your home as my own, with respect and care, I ensure that I maintain your space and make sure it's inviting, clean and tidy for you to return back to. I'm very safety conscious person and I will always ensure to follow any usual security measures you would normally take when in your home. I am a photographer occasionally on the side of my design business so while your dog is with me I am sometimes a little extra and provide a mini professional photo shoot for your pup when they are relaxing or having fun, so you'll have some quality photographs to cherish forever. 📷✨ Dog Walks Need a dog walker? I'm super flexible with my availability for dog walks due to the nature of self employment and would love to collect your dog for half an hour up to an hour and a half for a walk and play to break up their day. The most common places we visit are The West Common, The Lawn, The Arboretum and Mount Street Dog Park (for the shorter walks).

Please free to message me with any questions, I'd love to get to know you and your best friend. About: I have always adored dogs and I've been taking care of them since my teenage years. My mum met an elderly lady, Sue, at a local library. She needed her dog, Penny, walking, and Mum suggested I helped her. I was 16 at the time and was saving up for a laptop. I had always loved dogs, but never thought about walking them. After a nervous cycle down the country roads and an awkward introduction, I was walking through a wheat field and I realised how peaceful it was. I cherished the experience and since that day, I have been helping with neighbours' dogs, whether that's house sitting them in their own home, walking them or just popping in for 30 minutes. My friend is a dog walker, so I would go for walks with her and I learnt a lot about handling from her too. Since moving to Lincoln with my husband, I haven't had much time to do that, and I don't know my neighbours as well, but I would love to start again and get the ball rolling. I have made a couple of dog walking friends, and we now have our own lovely puppy, Tonka. Training has been tough, so if you choose me to look after your pup, I will definitely keep up with their training as I know how hard it can be! Recently I looked after a friend's dogs in my own home and Tonka loved the experience, however, Archie (my cat) did not, so I would only look after dogs who are good with cats in my own home from now on. I'm currently between jobs. I am a teaching assistant, and I work with children with SEND. The child I was working with at my previous school was in year 6, so has moved on. I am currently looking for a new job, whether that's in school, in a care home or at someone's house as a nanny, so I have plenty of time on my hands to take care of people's pets. I have a decent sized house with a fenced garden that has plenty of space for my lovely boy and your dog/s to make friends and play. My cat likes to try and join in too. I will respect the needs and wishes of your pets and always aspire to give them the love and care they deserve wherever I look after them.

About: A former veterinarian now clinical animal behaviour student at the University of Lincoln with 10+ years of pet care experience across multiple species. Experience with petsitting and providing medical care to animals before the start of my veterinary career then moved to a dedicated veterinary practice for the last 8 years. I love being around animals and just watching and caring for them brings me so much joy! Through my recent education, have developed a better understanding of pet and this aids my motivation to be a pet sitter as I feel like with my experience and knowledge, I would make the experience for the pet wholesome and pleasurable and this in turn would help pet owners to be at easy that their pet is in good hands. I consider myself friendly, open and honest when it comes to my interactions with the pet owners and believe it is important to keep clear communication between us while also making sure they get timely updates and pictures of their pets. I understand this even more as I myself have had pets all through my life and even seeing a photo of them can bring me so much joy. Currently, I own 2 senior dogs, 1 rabbit and a newt back home but in the past I have also owned cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fishes and birds. I currently live on rent in a house with a dog so I cannot keep animals in my accomodation so would be looking to exclusively pet sit through overnight stays or drop-in visits. I can provide overnight stays on all days. Drop in visits through the day, all days of the week. Walks included in visits usually but would require a trial walk before the visit. I cannot bring pets in my accomodation. At a pet owner's home I can follow any practices the pet is used to whether it is being left in a crate or a specific area of the house before I leave. I can also provide medical care and follow routine and specific medical instructions if needed. I also accommodate requests for watering plants and any other specific house care instructions if within my capacity. I am adaptable and resourceful with my methods and would make any experience for the pet a positive one with keeping comfort and happiness as a priority. I also find it very important that the pet's routine should be as similar to what the owner's would normally do if they were home making it minimally stressful for the pet.

About: I’m a true dog lover, if there is a party I’m the first to sit with a dog and have a comfortable chat, and pat. I was very fortunate to have 17 years with my first baby, a miniature schnauzer, who I adored. The last 5 years of his life required a lot of extra care due to heart problems, and extreme sensitivity to most food. That being said, I’m good at giving medication, and have the extra patience and perseverance to make sure the dog has his proper medication in a calm, loving way. Before my dog was poorly, he was a high energetic gentleman, who loved his 3-4 walks a day. I through enjoy a pets company and like them to feel comfortable, and pampered when in my care. I am the first to volunteer to furbaby sit if any of my friends are going away, and have asked friends if I could borrow their dogs for a nice walk. I currently work remotely (at home during the day) and have two young children in their first years of school. Working from home lets me be a companion with your pet, with breaks for play, breaks in the outdoor garden area, and a nice walk (or two). I have a small high stoned wall garden with a patch of grass, and I always walk with a lead when on public pathways, usually in quiet neighbourhoods, or public parks.

About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of animals, but dogs are my absolute favourite. I have taken care of my own dogs, but friends and neighbours also rely on me to take care of their pets. I always make sure to account for the needs of the pets in my care, whether they need a walk, a bathroom break, or a tummy rub. I also have a supportive family that also loves dogs. The dogs in my care have a totally supportive environment. Pets in my care always have priority. I will only agree to take care of dogs if I know that I can put them first. I have a fenced garden and a supportive family. Dogs will have access to most of the house - wherever they feel most comfortable. It is a non-smoking house. The stairs can be dog-proofed if required.

About: I’ve grown up with pets throughout my childhood. I’ve learnt how to train puppy’s and kittens, I have learnt how to behave with gun dogs and simply enjoy playing with animals! I am at home every day, I would love to get out more, be active and allow pets to join me on a fun walk! I live with family, in a very loving and caring home. I am happy to walk dogs whenever suited, and I would treat the dog as if it were my own. :)

Lorena has been brilliant with our dog, he’s usually quite shy and can be reactive to new people, however he warmed up to her straight away which made things so much easier. We was let down previously by another walker & Lorena with very little notice was able to step in and help us 😊 Her fast communication and post walk / visit updates are great & we can highly recommend her services to anyone in the area. We shall be using Lorena for any future needs 😄

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! Before my loyal Malinois, Four, turned me into a full-on dog person, I was a lifelong cat lover—so I truly understand both feline independence and canine companionship. I offer calm, trustworthy care shaped by years of hands-on experience with a range of pets, from affectionate lap cats to high-energy, working-breed dogs. Thanks to Four, I also have experience supporting dogs with pulling, reactivity, and basic training needs—so I know how to keep walks safe and stress-free. My partner Scott often lends a hand on walks and drop-ins—we’re both passionate about animals and committed to providing gentle, reliable care. Whether your pet needs company, exercise, or just a steady presence while you're away, I tailor my care to suit their personality and routine. Because your pet deserves a Five-Star experience! I work full time during the week, but caring for animals is a core part of my daily life. I walk my own dog, Four, every day—rain or shine—so I’m used to fitting pet care around a busy schedule. I don’t work weekends or during school holidays, which gives me extra flexibility for drop-ins and walks. My partner Scott is also an animal lover and often supports with afternoon visits when needed, but I’m always the main point of contact and responsible for bookings and care. Pet care is second nature in our household! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I hold a current DBS check and treat every animal with the same care and attention I give my own dog, Four. When walking dogs, I ensure they’re secure on a lead—especially those with reactivity or pulling tendencies—and always check the environment for potential hazards. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I create a calm, secure space tailored to your pet’s needs. For drop-ins, I create a calm, familiar environment for your pet by sticking to their usual routine—feeding, providing fresh water, and giving them the attention they’re used to. I take extra care to follow any specific instructions from you, and I’m always happy to send updates to keep you reassured. Whether your pet is a dog or a cat, I treat them with kindness, respect, and care, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe in their environment.

James is absolutely fantastic with our rescue dog Gary. I was worried about handing him over to someone as he is not the easiest dog to deal with as we believe he has had a very difficult life, James has made a very strong bond with him and is very caring and capable of looking after our looney pup! He is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. Seeing the photos each day has been great too! We would highly recommend James to anyone.

About: my family have had an encyclopaedia of animals since I was a baby, from dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, cockatiels, love birds, Tropical fish, rabbits and Guinea pigs. I am now currently in my 30s with 2 children and 2 of the most energetic loving border collies. I often take care of all my families pets when they are away on holiday. I have had the rare opportunity of looking after my brothers chicks, from egg to chick to juvenile. I am currently working part time trying to make my way in the animal business, I have 2 children who are currently at school so am available from 9:30 am to 2:45pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday to play and have fun with your pets. Weekends are strictly family time. For walking I ensure I have lots of suitable treats, and an on the go water bottle ready for your pet and those long journeys we will take, along with very sturdy leads! My dogs love to pull because of their breed, so I make sure only to use the best of the best. I have a cushioned base in my car for comfort and suitable safety harnesses for the drive, because a walk around the block is just simply not suitable all the time. Accompanied with a long line lead, to build and develop that trust, so your dog can run but stay safe.

About: Council licences, qualified in pet care and first aid, dbs checked and insured. I devote myself to your animals, and am available to look after your dogs at anytime. Both my dogs love being with other dogs… they’re fully used to other dogs in the house as all of my family has a dog so the house often has up to 5 dogs in it. I can cater to any requirements. Offering a genuine animal-loving household with many years of hands-on experience. Having raised a Shih Tzu and a high-energy working Cocker Spaniel from puppies (now 11 and 2), and also had cats, horses, fish and chameleons. I am very active and used to meeting different needs — my Cocker Spaniel enjoys daily long countryside walks/ runs i take him on, often up to 7 miles, while my Shih Tzu follows a calmer routine due to being older and gets up to 30mins of walking in the evening. My dogs are friendly, well socialised, and comfortable around other dogs. Having boarded very wide range of dogs which have all become very quickly a part of our family, sleeping with us if necessary and always enjoying cuddles in the sofa in the evening. I am fully available and able to dedicate plenty of time, care, and attention to your pets. I understand every pet is part of the family and am always happy to follow individual routines to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. I have completed a diploma in pet sitting and dog walking which has given me the training and knowledge required to cater to your animals needs. Being at home weekends and all school holidays means no pet will be left alone. I have fully trained my spaniel from a puppy, he is able to follow many commands and regularly goes to dog shows. During school holidays (17wks) and weekends I am fully available at home consistently to be here and look after your pets. I will be home 24/7 and can walk dogs as much as required over whatever turf they’re used to. Fully enclosed large back garden with high fencing, including many pet agility jumps, hoops etc . Large house for dogs to roam free and have their own beds and rooms.

About: Note: Rates on this platform differ slightly from my direct bookings due to Rover platform requirements. Hi, I’m Ashleigh – a qualified animal enthusiast with over 8 years of experience studying and caring for animals. My passion and empathy for animals have always been a part of who I am, and from a very young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career working with them. After leaving school, I went to college to study animals, which eventually led me to earn a BSc in Animal Behaviour & Welfare. Along the way, I’ve gained hands-on experience working and volunteering in rescue centres, daycares, zoos, aquariums, and wildlife rehabilitation. This has provided me with the amazing opportunity to work with a wide range of species – from dogs, cats, and rabbits to snakes, penguins, armadillos, octopuses, and rhinos! After a short break from studying, I’ll soon be starting an MRes in Animal Behaviour & Welfare, and my research will be centred around reptile cognition. I am committed to building on my understanding of how and why animals think and behave the way they do. Understanding an animals behaviour isn’t just fascinating – it’s essential to providing the best possible care and building trust-based relationships. Driven by my knowledge and lifelong passion for animals, I began offering my own services some time ago to just a few clients alongside my work and studies. I’ve now decided to take the next step and officially launch Tails & Scales Pet Care – providing trustworthy, personalised care for pets of all shapes and sizes. Services I provide: 🐕‍🦺 Solo dog walk – dedicated one-on-one time tailored to your dog’s needs 🐇 Pet sitting – in-home care while you’re away, keeping your pets comfortable in their own space 🐈 Drop-in visits – check-ins for feeding, playtime, company, and a toilet break 🐢 Experienced care for scaly, slimy, feathery, and creepy-crawly pets Whether you need regular walks, a one-off pet sit, or the occasional drop-in visit, I’m here to make life easier for you and more comfortable for your animals. Every pet I care for is treated like one of my own – no matter their shape, size, or quirks. I am a full-time pet sitter/dog walker. I will try my best to be available for any requests and to meet your needs - just ask! I only offer 1-2-1 care, or care for pets from the same household for safety reasons, and to ensure every animal in my care is getting the necessary attention and devotion! Happy to follow safe and sensible owner instruction regarding care and routine for your animal/s in your own home.

About: Hi, I’m Ange 👋🐾 — a lifelong animal lover, DBS checked, with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I now offer dog day care and pet services from Sutton on Trent, a lovely rural village surrounded by countryside, quiet lanes, and peaceful walking routes 🌿🐕. It’s a calm, home-from-home environment, ideal for dogs who enjoy companionship, fresh air, and gentle structure throughout the day. Originally from South Africa, I spent many years rescuing and caring for animals including injured Rottweilers, pot-bellied pigs, leopard geckos, kittens, rabbits, hedgehogs, birds, fish, and snakes 🐶🐷🦎🐰🐍. When I moved to the UK, I brought my German Shepherd, Jax, with me. Together, we completed obedience and protection training, giving me valuable experience handling large breeds and understanding canine behaviour. I’m confident caring for dogs with reactive behaviours, allergies, specialised diets including raw feeding, senior needs, and medication routines 💛. My approach is calm, patient, and tailored to each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort. ⸻ 🐶 Services Offered ✅ Dog day care in a calm countryside setting ✅ Dog walking tailored to age, fitness, and temperament ✅ Drop-in visits for feeding, companionship, medication, playtime, and toilet breaks ✅ Senior dog care and gentle enrichment ✅ Secure off-lead walks available if booked at a secure field ⸻ 🐾 Why Choose Me? • 🌿 Rural village location with access to lovely countryside walks • 🐕 Experienced with dogs of all ages, breeds, and needs • 💪 Confident handling large and strong breeds • 🥩 Knowledgeable in raw feeding, allergy management, and medication • 🐈 Comfortable caring for cats, small animals, reptiles, birds, and more • 📸 Regular updates and photos for peace of mind • 💛 Calm, reliable, and compassionate care The property has a large garden and outdoor space 🌳. Please note, the garden is not fully enclosed, so dogs are always supervised and kept safely on lead or long line unless we have arranged a secure enclosed field booking. Your pet’s safety will always come first. Whether your dog enjoys countryside walks, quiet companionship, playtime, or a relaxed day in a homely setting, I’ll care for them as if they were my own 🐾💛 Let’s arrange a meet-and-greet so we can find the best routine for your pet. 🐶✨ I’m currently preparing to start my MSc this autumn and also work part-time, so I’ll have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer pet care during both weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to work around your routine — whether that’s morning walks, midday visits, or evening care. Just let me know what suits you and we can find a time that works for everyone! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and needs so they feel secure and relaxed in my care. I maintain a calm, positive environment and always follow any instructions you provide — from feeding routines and medication to preferred walking routes or sleeping arrangements. I never rush interactions and always allow pets to approach me at their own pace, building trust naturally. Your pet will be treated with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own. I have an enclosed garden with high walls

About: As a lifelong pet owner myself, I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet loves adventures, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and at home. 🐾❤️ _________________ Important: As I have my own dog, I can only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in my care, dogs must be neutered/spayed. I also require a meet and greet before any booking to ensure the dogs are comfortable with each other and that your pet will be happy, relaxed, and safe in my home. I also have a 17-year-old cat, Tiger. During dog boarding, she will be kept in a separate part of the house that guest dogs do not have access to. This ensures her safety and wellbeing, while also providing a calm and comfortable environment for any dogs staying with me. I carefully manage introductions and household spaces so that all animals in my care can feel safe, relaxed, and secure. I live with my dog, Simba, and my 17-year-old cat, Tiger, so my routine naturally revolves around caring for them, including walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, grooming, and making sure they are happy and comfortable. I work four days a week, and my pet-sitting availability is Friday to Sunday, when I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m used to planning my days around animals’ needs and routines, and I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and companionship. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and caring for them is something I do because I love it, not just as a service. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, affection, and care while they’re with me. 🐾❤️ When caring for pets in my home, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced garden for dogs to enjoy supervised outdoor time, and my home is a calm, pet-friendly environment. For added security, I also have CCTV covering the property. I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, routines, and any specific requirements. I understand that pets can feel unsettled when away from home, so I do my best to maintain their usual routine and provide plenty of attention, reassurance, and enrichment. I live with my friendly dog, Simba, and my 17-year-old cat, Tiger, so I’m experienced in managing a multi-pet household and recognising individual needs and personalities. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat their home with the same respect and care as I would my own. I’ll ensure pets are fed, exercised, kept company, and cared for according to their normal routine, while also providing updates and photos for peace of mind. 🐾❤️
