There is an enclosed garden for him to play in and was treated like part of the family, Joe and Helen are certainly dog lovers and sure any dog they look after they will go above and beyond to make your fur baby feel at home from home. “This was the first time we left Peppa with someone rather than having a sitter stay in our home. So we were a little worried about how Peppa would adapt, but we needed not to worry. Peppa settled down after a couple of days and Alastrina took excellent care of her and Peppa seemed to be very happy. Alastrina also sent us updates on Peppa's progress, which was much welcomed. About: We are a friendly couple who will take care of your pet in our home whilst you are away. We lost our own pooch a couple of years ago and her passing certainly left a massive hole. I work from home 4 days a week and one in the office and will make sure you’re loved one is never left alone. Happy to go on short or long walks with your pets, whatever they enjoy. Will happily give medication if required, this is something we have experience in when looking after our own pooch. Currently work from home 4 days a week so your pet will never be never feel lonely. Also allows me to get out as frequently as needed for walks / garden play. I have a small fenced garden but we are abundant with fields and great walks where we live. Whether it’s playing with a ball or just a walk around the field on a lead, I’m happy to accommodate.
“Neil is a very friendly, helpful man. When I first enquired about leaving our dog with Neil, he was able to rearrange his commitments to make it possible. He had already gone the extra mile before we made the reservation. When we dropped Walnut off with him, Neil gave as a very warm reception and we could see from who he was and how he kept his house that we had made the right choice. During Walnut’s stay, Neil sent us photo and video updates. Upon picking Walnut back up, they were snuggled together on the sofa. About: My names Kel and my wife Tracy. I am a Firefighter full time and a dog lover. Me and my wife have grown up with dogs all of our life. Predominantly GSD’s. We currently have 1 nephew - a golden Lab who we love. Would love our own but sadly our working life means we can’t. So instead we hope to take excellent care of your pets Currently do 4 days on 4 days off, so have plenty of time on days off to provide the perfect time with your pets. Your pet would get our undivided attention throughout their stay! We live in a rural village, with plenty of open green space around and lovely walks close by. About: After losing our dog not too long ago, I feel like there’s a massive gap in our lives and I would love to look after your fur babies, in the way we looked after ours. We have a 6 year old and a 4 year old so they would need to be good with children. I am excited to have all kinds of different breeds in our home that may help us decide what dog we would have join our loving family in the future. We are surrounded by fields as we live in a small village, which has just as many dogs as people in, we ( myself and the dogs) will often bump into other dog walkers so the dog would also need to be sociable with other dogs and humans. I am currently working part time, with only two days a week working 8-5 and I don’t work weekends. We have some plans at weekends like most family’s do, but when booking your pets in I will make sure that the weekend is fully dedicated to your pet. I have an enclosed garden, and live on a close, quite some distance from any main roads. Your dog will be crated if needed. About: I've looked after a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments throughout my life. This included my own personal pets but also neighbours, friends and family. I'm highly reliable and pride myself on my duty of care. I am retired and I am able to provide care during the weekdays with a range of flexibility to provide care during the weekends too. I have a fully fenced garden as well as a completely secure property. Ample space within the property and the garden for pets to enjoy.
About: I have been a military dog handler for the RAF for the past 7 years. And have experience dealing with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. About: I’ve had a passion for animals since I was a little girl. Since graduating with an Hons degree in animal behaviour and welfare in 2021, I have been continuing to develop and share my skills within the animal industry, specifically for training and behaviour in Canines. About: My experience working with dogs is extensive, having had them as pets for 20 years of my life. At my childhood home we have 3 dogs and 1 cat in the house- so an absolute a madhouse! I have been relied on to walk, feed and bathe the dogs under my care and have house sat multiple friends and family pets. I specialise in the care of small-medium size dogs as this is where my experience lies but I would be happy to look after larger dogs if you don't mind the occasional foray onto google. I have also looked after a dog with epilepsy so i have experience giving regular and emergency medication when necessary. I have looked after 4 litters of puppies and a litter of kittens, toilet training them and teaching basic skills such as sit, fetch and return. We even had to bottle feed one litter of puppies as the mother was not producing milk so I understand the full time care and responsibility that owners require to keep their pets safe and happy. I work 8-5 during the weekdays, two of which I work from home so I have some flexibility when it comes to my schedule. However, I am fully available on weekends unless stated otherwise on my calendar. In my home dogs will be treated like part of the family, given lots of love hugs and attention but still discipline when needed. I like to provide each with a safe space using soft furnishings or a crate if possible so they can retreate of needed. Usually I will crate dogs at night or if I leave the house, which is not often. They are fed and walked (for at least 30 minutes) twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with their regular food. Water is, of course, constantly available and the back door to the garden is open whenever possible. Though I should note that I let dogs out at least once every 2 hours so they can do their business and if a garden is not available then I would take the dog out on the lead outside. In regards to discipline, I usually prefer the carrot over the stick, rewarding dogs when they have done well with first treats and later just a clicker or toy. However if punishment is necessary I would only ever tap the dog on the nose and state a firm no, hitting is never required. For example, if the dog has urinated in the house, I would sharply tap them on the nose, state no, putting their nose in their urine and then simply place them where they need to be - usually outside or on a toilet training area (e.g. newspaper). In regards to safety while walking, I would either use a harness or collar and a non-extendable lead. A dog would not be left off a lead until I have walked with them at least 5 times and built a relationship with them to avoid the dog running off or back home. I usually go to a green area nearby when walking the dogs and like to let them run around wherever possible in the garden, often leaving the door open so they can run in and out. I do of course recognise that all owners have different methods for providing a home for their furry pet so I would defer to whatever rules are already in place with whomever I am hired by.

About: I have looked after neighbours pets and family friends’ dogs for well over five years now. I also have experience in tending to senior dogs and with administrating prescribed medications, but also being attentive and stimulating with puppies! I’m currently studying at University during term time in Coventry, but living at home in Lincolnshire during holidays. I’m up to looking after your lovely pets whenever I’m available!! I can easily crate your dog in your home (if you prefer this when they’re left alone inbetween any visits) and make sure that they are comfortable and stimulated throughout any visits.

About: We live in a home set in 10 acres of securely fenced paddocks and parkland. We have 3 horses, and a stable cat, who does keep himself to himself, but I would prefer to avoid dogs who knowingly chase cats. We have two of dogs, a Weimerarnar and a Jack Russel. They are extremely welcoming of other dogs and we have a lot of space to roam in safety. We can go for walks around our own land on or off the lead. Your dog will sleep in the same room as my own dogs but they will have their own independent space, whilst still having company. I do not accept dogs the require to sleep on the sofa or upstairs on the bed! I do not leave my dogs for more than 3 hours at any time, so I am pretty much always at home. I understand how difficult it is to go away if you are not sure your pet is going to be happy and well cared for. I offer your pet a loving environment to ensure you can relax in the knowledge that your best friend will be looked after carefully and loved like one of the family. I will only ever accept 2 dogs from the same family. I will never mix dogs from another family during any stay, so you can be assured that your dog is my priority. I do not let dogs upstairs but they do sit with us as one of the family in the evenings. I find dogs are happier if they have some of their own belongings with them like their own bed/blanket etc. I prefer female speyed dogs but will consider small male neutered dogs. I always request a meet and greet before accepting a booking to ensure we are all happy. It is also beneficial to have a trial visit and ideally an overnight stay before embarking on multiple night stays. This ensures the dog is comfortable and stress free during its stay. For the avoidance of doubt, an overnight stay is 24 hours from the time of drop off to the time of collection. Anything over an hour additional time, will be charged at my standard day rate. I am not the cheapest sitter, (but the Ritz isn't the cheapest hotel). I do however offer an amazing service in a safe environment where your pet can have freedom, fun and become part of the family.

They clearly adore animals and Sparky had a wonderful time. I wasn't expecting her to be walked because Sparky is very strong willed and rarely allows anyone else but me to walk her. However, Sarah struck up a strong rapport and did take her out. Brilliant care and very happy with all she did for her whilst I was working. An easy 5 star rating.”

About: I have always adored dogs and I've been taking care of them since my teenage years. My mum met an elderly lady, Sue, at a local library. She needed her dog, Penny, walking, and Mum suggested I helped her. I was 16 at the time and was saving up for a laptop. I had always loved dogs, but never thought about walking them. After a nervous cycle down the country roads and an awkward introduction, I was walking through a wheat field and I realised how peaceful it was. I cherished the experience and since that day, I have been helping with neighbours' dogs, whether that's house sitting them in their own home, walking them or just popping in for 30 minutes. My friend is a dog walker, so I would go for walks with her and I learnt a lot about handling from her too. Since moving to Lincoln with my husband, I haven't had much time to do that, and I don't know my neighbours as well, but I would love to start again and get the ball rolling. I have made a couple of dog walking friends, and we now have our own lovely puppy, Tonka. Training has been tough, so if you choose me to look after your pup, I will definitely keep up with their training as I know how hard it can be! Recently I looked after a friend's dogs in my own home and Tonka loved the experience, however, Archie (my cat) did not, so I would only look after dogs who are good with cats in my own home from now on. I'm currently between jobs. I am a teaching assistant, and I work with children with SEND. The child I was working with at my previous school was in year 6, so has moved on. I am currently looking for a new job, whether that's in school, in a care home or at someone's house as a nanny, so I have plenty of time on my hands to take care of people's pets. I have a decent sized house with a fenced garden that has plenty of space for my lovely boy and your dog/s to make friends and play. My cat likes to try and join in too. I will respect the needs and wishes of your pets and always aspire to give them the love and care they deserve wherever I look after them.

About: I’ve had lots of experience looking after my own dogs and cared for dogs for friends and family. I currently have a lively 3 year old Springer Cocker Spaniel cross called Hector who I’ve raised from being a puppy. I’ve previously cared for dogs with special health needs, and will work around any requirements you’ve got for your four legged friends. I also used to have 3 horses who required a lot of care and attention, and used to work on a yard at weekends looking after people’s horses. I know how important it is to stick to each animals needs and schedule. I work from home so I’m always around for toilet breaks and lunchtime walks. My availability is usually Monday-Friday but weekends are possible if given notice. I have one dog and no other pets at home. About: I grew up with lots of animals like a tiny farm and since going to university, I have missed it :( I always go to my family house where there is 5 cats, 2 goldens and 10 chickens and 1 rabbit. May sound like a lot but there is never a moment of boredom. I work in Boston, 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. Please take that into consideration when booking me as it doesn’t not let me edit my work schedule into the app. Anytime after 17:30, if you want your dog walking I would be happy too. I really enjoy going on walks with dogs. I have a fenced garden and love going on walks. Dogs and cats are allowed on furniture so they have many places to venture and relax :)

About: For the past year and a half I have worked professionally as a driver and daycare assistant in a busy doggy day care, this is where I received my Dog First Aid qualification and most of my professional experience caring for dogs. My responsibilities were extensive including walking and playing with the dogs as well as driving them to and from their homes at the beginning and end of the day. I have grown up in a pet filled household ever since I was born, not only did my own household have dogs and cats but my family and friends did also which I would often care for, walk and feed. As soon as I was stable enough to care for an animal myself I adopted my wonderful dog Popcorn, that was 6 years ago now and I can safely say it was the best decision I ever made, I have since fostered kittens and cats as well as taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family. I have also adopted a beautiful kitten named Pumpkin and she has become an amazing little outdoor cat. I find nothing more fulfilling than making an animals day! I am completely available for any of your pet car needs as this is my full-time occupation. I studied photography so cute pictures of your pet pending! About: I grew up with lots of animals like a tiny farm and since going to university, I have missed it :( I always go to my family house where there is 5 cats, 2 goldens and 10 chickens and 1 rabbit. May sound like a lot but there is never a moment of boredom. I work in Boston, 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. Please take that into consideration when booking me as it doesn’t not let me edit my work schedule into the app. Anytime after 17:30, if you want your dog walking I would be happy too. Since graduating with an Hons degree in animal behaviour and welfare in 2021, I have been continuing to develop and share my skills within the animal industry, specifically for training and behaviour in Canines. We currently have 1 nephew - a golden Lab who we love. Would love our own but sadly our working life means we can’t. So instead we hope to take excellent care of your pets Currently do 4 days on 4 days off, so have plenty of time on days off to provide the perfect time with your pets. Your pet would get our undivided attention throughout their stay! We live in a rural village, with plenty of open green space around and lovely walks close by. We are also lucky to have a large garden which your dog and explore and play in. Me and my wife both love walking, so will make sure your pet gets all the exercise they need!

About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember! Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and even stick insects! (don't ask - my poor Mum!) I'm comfortable with large dogs and giving medication to pets. I can also look in on small pets too and I'll even put out your bins while you're away :) I'm available for pop-ins after 4pm, Tuesday to Friday and all day at the weekend. I'm also available for overnight boarding at the weekend too. I have a fenced garden and plenty of open space around us to stretch our legs and get a change of scenery. In your home I will follow your usual routine for feeding, play, medication etc.
