Both dogs were more than happy with Bradley which was great to see from my more nervous people cocker spaniel and my puppy was clearly enjoying herself and having fun playing with Lincoln. Whilst ollie the older cocker spaniel enjoyed quuer cuddles. Bradley sent us plenty of pictures of them which was really reassuring and responded quickly to any questions we had. Will certainly use Bradley again as its always nice when you find a home from home that your dogs are settled and comfortable with. Would also recommend to friends.”

About: We are a family of 3 who love cats! I have always had cats and have even fostered up to 30 kittens at one time, in Alaska! I cat sat in Thailand for 9 gorgeous Siamese kitties, which was so fun! I also cat and dog sat for a family in Evedon when my son was a small baby. We have 1 family cat now who is a chunky all black girl named Koshka although Orion is desperate for a new kitten! I have experience with alot of different breeds and needs.

About: My parents and grandparents had cats while I grew up but I only got into looking after them when my parents got an older Tabby after I had finished University. They went on holiday while I was living at home and working locally. I would get up, feed the cat and walk the dog before work and then again when I got home. The cat, Tilly bonded with me. Despite my parents being home or my job changing, Tilly would come to my door 7am every morning and meow at the door till the day she died. I recently moved to Lincoln and as part of the move my wife and I rescued two kittens from a litter of unwanted cats from a farm. The kittens are now adult cats named Mildred and Enid after The Worst Witch characters.
About: After losing our dog not too long ago, I feel like there’s a massive gap in our lives and I would love to look after your fur babies, in the way we looked after ours. We have a 6 year old and a 4 year old so they would need to be good with children. I am excited to have all kinds of different breeds in our home that may help us decide what dog we would have join our loving family in the future. We are surrounded by fields as we live in a small village, which has just as many dogs as people in, we ( myself and the dogs) will often bump into other dog walkers so the dog would also need to be sociable with other dogs and humans. I am currently working part time, with only two days a week working 8-5 and I don’t work weekends. We have some plans at weekends like most family’s do, but when booking your pets in I will make sure that the weekend is fully dedicated to your pet. I have an enclosed garden, and live on a close, quite some distance from any main roads. Your dog will be crated if needed. I will do my best to accommodate your needs the best I can, please just ask. There are no other pets currently living with us just two small children.

About: I’ve had a passion for animals since I was a little girl. Since graduating with an Hons degree in animal behaviour and welfare in 2021, I have been continuing to develop and share my skills within the animal industry, specifically for training and behaviour in Canines. My aim is to further use my skills and love for animals to care for beloved companions, for owners in need. Whether that be for the day; or longer-term care in their home while owners are away. About: I have been a military dog handler for the RAF for the past 7 years. And have experience dealing with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule and I am able to accomodate last minute bookings when required. I can easily fit bookings into obscure times such as late evenings and weekends. I love to ensure that pets are happy and taken care of and feel safe in their own environment. I have a dog of my own who is quite difficult so I know the reassurance it gives me to have him looked after in his own house when I am away. And I want to make other pet owners feel the same so they can go on holidays or to work and not worry that their pet is unhappy or stressed. For clarity, my house sitting appointments cover short toilet walks. A longer walk will incur the normal charge on top. During house/dog sitting I will be at your house with your dog or cat for 90% of the time, with me occasionally popping out for refreshments and to run short errands or to check on my son.
About: My experience working with dogs is extensive, having had them as pets for 20 years of my life. At my childhood home we have 3 dogs and 1 cat in the house- so an absolute a madhouse! I have been relied on to walk, feed and bathe the dogs under my care and have house sat multiple friends and family pets. I specialise in the care of small-medium size dogs as this is where my experience lies but I would be happy to look after larger dogs if you don't mind the occasional foray onto google. I have also looked after a dog with epilepsy so i have experience giving regular and emergency medication when necessary. I have looked after 4 litters of puppies and a litter of kittens, toilet training them and teaching basic skills such as sit, fetch and return. We even had to bottle feed one litter of puppies as the mother was not producing milk so I understand the full time care and responsibility that owners require to keep their pets safe and happy. I work 8-5 during the weekdays, two of which I work from home so I have some flexibility when it comes to my schedule. However, I am fully available on weekends unless stated otherwise on my calendar. In my home dogs will be treated like part of the family, given lots of love hugs and attention but still discipline when needed. I like to provide each with a safe space using soft furnishings or a crate if possible so they can retreate of needed. Usually I will crate dogs at night or if I leave the house, which is not often. They are fed and walked (for at least 30 minutes) twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with their regular food. Water is, of course, constantly available and the back door to the garden is open whenever possible. Though I should note that I let dogs out at least once every 2 hours so they can do their business and if a garden is not available then I would take the dog out on the lead outside. In regards to discipline, I usually prefer the carrot over the stick, rewarding dogs when they have done well with first treats and later just a clicker or toy. However if punishment is necessary I would only ever tap the dog on the nose and state a firm no, hitting is never required. For example, if the dog has urinated in the house, I would sharply tap them on the nose, state no, putting their nose in their urine and then simply place them where they need to be - usually outside or on a toilet training area (e.g. newspaper). In regards to safety while walking, I would either use a harness or collar and a non-extendable lead. A dog would not be left off a lead until I have walked with them at least 5 times and built a relationship with them to avoid the dog running off or back home. I usually go to a green area nearby when walking the dogs and like to let them run around wherever possible in the garden, often leaving the door open so they can run in and out. I do of course recognise that all owners have different methods for providing a home for their furry pet so I would defer to whatever rules are already in place with whomever I am hired by.
About: I've looked after a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments throughout my life. This included my own personal pets but also neighbours, friends and family. I'm highly reliable and pride myself on my duty of care. I am retired and I am able to provide care during the weekdays with a range of flexibility to provide care during the weekends too. About: We live in a home set in 10 acres of securely fenced paddocks and parkland. We have 3 horses, and a stable cat, who does keep himself to himself, but I would prefer to avoid dogs who knowingly chase cats. We have two of dogs, a Weimerarnar and a Jack Russel. They are extremely welcoming of other dogs and we have a lot of space to roam in safety. We can go for walks around our own land on or off the lead. Your dog will sleep in the same room as my own dogs but they will have their own independent space, whilst still having company. I do not accept dogs the require to sleep on the sofa or upstairs on the bed! I do not leave my dogs for more than 3 hours at any time, so I am pretty much always at home. I understand how difficult it is to go away if you are not sure your pet is going to be happy and well cared for. I offer your pet a loving environment to ensure you can relax in the knowledge that your best friend will be looked after carefully and loved like one of the family. I will only ever accept 2 dogs from the same family. I will never mix dogs from another family during any stay, so you can be assured that your dog is my priority. I do not let dogs upstairs but they do sit with us as one of the family in the evenings. I find dogs are happier if they have some of their own belongings with them like their own bed/blanket etc. I prefer female speyed dogs but will consider small male neutered dogs. I always request a meet and greet before accepting a booking to ensure we are all happy. It is also beneficial to have a trial visit and ideally an overnight stay before embarking on multiple night stays. This ensures the dog is comfortable and stress free during its stay. For the avoidance of doubt, an overnight stay is 24 hours from the time of drop off to the time of collection. Anything over an hour additional time, will be charged at my standard day rate. I am not the cheapest sitter, (but the Ritz isn't the cheapest hotel). I do however offer an amazing service in a safe environment where your pet can have freedom, fun and become part of the family.

About: I have looked after neighbours pets and family friends’ dogs for well over five years now. I also have experience in tending to senior dogs and with administrating prescribed medications, but also being attentive and stimulating with puppies! About: I have always adored dogs and I've been taking care of them since my teenage years. My mum met an elderly lady, Sue, at a local library. She needed her dog, Penny, walking, and Mum suggested I helped her. I was 16 at the time and was saving up for a laptop. I had always loved dogs, but never thought about walking them. After a nervous cycle down the country roads and an awkward introduction, I was walking through a wheat field and I realised how peaceful it was. I cherished the experience and since that day, I have been helping with neighbours' dogs, whether that's house sitting them in their own home, walking them or just popping in for 30 minutes. My friend is a dog walker, so I would go for walks with her and I learnt a lot about handling from her too. Since moving to Lincoln with my husband, I haven't had much time to do that, and I don't know my neighbours as well, but I would love to start again and get the ball rolling. I have made a couple of dog walking friends, and we now have our own lovely puppy, Tonka. Training has been tough, so if you choose me to look after your pup, I will definitely keep up with their training as I know how hard it can be! Recently I looked after a friend's dogs in my own home and Tonka loved the experience, however, Archie (my cat) did not, so I would only look after dogs who are good with cats in my own home from now on. I'm currently between jobs. I am a teaching assistant, and I work with children with SEND. The child I was working with at my previous school was in year 6, so has moved on. I am currently looking for a new job, whether that's in school, in a care home or at someone's house as a nanny, so I have plenty of time on my hands to take care of people's pets. I have a decent sized house with a fenced garden that has plenty of space for my lovely boy and your dog/s to make friends and play. My cat likes to try and join in too. I will respect the needs and wishes of your pets and always aspire to give them the love and care they deserve wherever I look after them.

I currently have a lively 3 year old Springer Cocker Spaniel cross called Hector who I’ve raised from being a puppy. I’ve previously cared for dogs with special health needs, and will work around any requirements you’ve got for your four legged friends. I also used to have 3 horses who required a lot of care and attention, and used to work on a yard at weekends looking after people’s horses. I know how important it is to stick to each animals needs and schedule. I work from home so I’m always around for toilet breaks and lunchtime walks. My availability is usually Monday-Friday but weekends are possible if given notice. I have one dog and no other pets at home. About: I grew up with lots of animals like a tiny farm and since going to university, I have missed it :( I always go to my family house where there is 5 cats, 2 goldens and 10 chickens and 1 rabbit. May sound like a lot but there is never a moment of boredom. I work in Boston, 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. Please take that into consideration when booking me as it doesn’t not let me edit my work schedule into the app. Anytime after 17:30, if you want your dog walking I would be happy too. I really enjoy going on walks with dogs. I have a fenced garden and love going on walks. Dogs and cats are allowed on furniture so they have many places to venture and relax :)

About: I have been raised with dogs since a child, I currently have a 2 year old Labrador myself. I love being in the company of dogs and enjoy teaching dogs new tricks, walks or just cuddling up on the sofa. I currently work from home between school hours, I walk my dog in the mornings to school and back, then he has his breakfast. During my working hours they will have access to the garden at all times for toilet breaks, or can be with me resting, where ever they feel comfortable. After work I walk to collect my son from school, on the way home they are able to have a longer walk. School run walks take 40 minutes in the morning, enough time to stretch their legs in the morning. I have a fenced garden and have a 2 year old male Labrador and two cats. We have two children aged 10 and 13 who love animals, there will be plenty of love, fusses and playtime for all. As our Labrador is entire, we are unable to accept unspayed female, as we do not think it is fair for either dog. We are able to accept entire males, subject to a meet and greet with both dogs. My main focus is making sure both dogs are happy to be around each other. If your beloved dog has any special requirements please let me know, I am happy to discuss these.
About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, my own 2 (Husky/Akita's) are 10 years old and I've had them since they were 10 weeks old I work from my laptop so am usually available whenever and wherever so long as WiFi is available. Both weekdays and weekends (with enough notice) I would visit the owners House before agreeing to look after anyone's cherished pets, whilst there we would talk about feeding/schedules/behaviour/anything I need to know. About: For the past year and a half I have worked professionally as a driver and daycare assistant in a busy doggy day care, this is where I received my Dog First Aid qualification and most of my professional experience caring for dogs. My responsibilities were extensive including walking and playing with the dogs as well as driving them to and from their homes at the beginning and end of the day. I have grown up in a pet filled household ever since I was born, not only did my own household have dogs and cats but my family and friends did also which I would often care for, walk and feed. As soon as I was stable enough to care for an animal myself I adopted my wonderful dog Popcorn, that was 6 years ago now and I can safely say it was the best decision I ever made, I have since fostered kittens and cats as well as taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family. I have also adopted a beautiful kitten named Pumpkin and she has become an amazing little outdoor cat. I find nothing more fulfilling than making an animals day! I am completely available for any of your pet car needs as this is my full-time occupation. I studied photography so cute pictures of your pet pending! I have lots of experience with different types of dogs with different needs! My home is a very loving one and I have done my best to make it the safest, most comfortable place for any animal to be in, my friendly fur babies will keep your pets company and I have a fenced garden so your pup can go to the toilet whenever they like safely!
About: I’ve had two dogs and 4 cats in my life. The dogs were black labradors I had with my parents one at a time and walked and looked after from puppy to senior. The first two cats we got one at a time as adults, while living at my parents. The second two we got as kittens together and are currently 1 year old while living with my wife. I have also had gerbils, rabbits, fish, horse and chickens while living at my parents. I also used to walk my Granddad’s black Labrador and have had experience with my Uncle’s Jack Russell and Brother-in-law’s Dashhound. I wake up, feed the cats check their water and clean the litter tray all before breakfast and dropping my wife to work. I currently work with schools so the holidays are free. I feed the cats their tea the same time we have tea in the afternoon and currently go for a play in the garden when it's cool in the evenings. I would check on your cats, have a bit of a play and make sure they have food, water and a clean litter tray. For a dog walk I would like to know your regular routine and would be happy with any kind of terrain or weather.

I also have experience in tending to senior dogs and with administrating prescribed medications, but also being attentive and stimulating with puppies! Pet sitting fits well into my schedule and I am able to accomodate last minute bookings when required. I can easily fit bookings into obscure times such as late evenings and weekends. I have a dog of my own who is quite difficult so I know the reassurance it gives me to have him looked after in his own house when I am away. For clarity, my house sitting appointments cover short toilet walks. A longer walk will incur the normal charge on top. During house/dog sitting I will be at your house with your dog or cat for 90% of the time, with me occasionally popping out for refreshments and to run short errands or to check on my son.

Both dogs were more than happy with Bradley which was great to see from my more nervous people cocker spaniel and my puppy was clearly enjoying herself and having fun playing with Lincoln. Whilst ollie the older cocker spaniel enjoyed quuer cuddles. Bradley sent us plenty of pictures of them which was really reassuring and responded quickly to any questions we had. Will certainly use Bradley again as its always nice when you find a home from home that your dogs are settled and comfortable with. Would also recommend to friends.”

Sarah suggested that I bought Jack my border terrier to her premises before making the booking to see if there were any apprehensions, she made Jack feel at home straight away which eased any doubts I had about this type of dog sitting. Sarah has been superb with Jack throughout his stay,keeping me informed by text of his daily routine and sending me occasional photos of jack which showed him being cuddled and well attended too. About: I have grown up around dogs and regularly have my mum’s dog to stay for up to 2 weeks at a time. I trained my family dog when she was a puppy and continue to recap her commands with her. I also have looked after my friends cats when she goes away by checking in a few times a day to feed and play with the cats and ensure they get time to go outside. I am a hybrid worker so have the flexibility to wfh. My hours are flexible so I can ensure I take dogs on long walks during my lunch break and that they are fed and played with at periods throughout the day. I have a fenced garden with plenty of grass and space to go to the toilet and run around. I live at the end of a cul-de-sac so very safe area with no cars passing by and a main road is a bit of a walk away. I allow pets on the sofa and have a plenty of blankets to cover furniture with so don’t mind them jumping up.

Milo being a cockapoo pup loves attention, likes to explore and wants to be involed in everything. Charys allowed us to bring Milo over to meet her a couple days before the stay just to help him feel familiar and settled, we were so grateful for this. She gave him loads of fuss (which he thrives on) and allowed him to settle in and enjoy his stay. Milo really likes her and we would like to let him stay again I'm future :)”

We currently have 1 nephew - a golden Lab who we love. Would love our own but sadly our working life means we can’t. So instead we hope to take excellent care of your pets Currently do 4 days on 4 days off, so have plenty of time on days off to provide the perfect time with your pets. Your pet would get our undivided attention throughout their stay! We live in a rural village, with plenty of open green space around and lovely walks close by. We are also lucky to have a large garden which your dog and explore and play in. Me and my wife both love walking, so will make sure your pet gets all the exercise they need!
