About: I’m a new graduate veterinarian from the University of Liverpool currently applying to jobs abroad. Whilst i’m waiting, i’m more than happy to help you out by house-sitting or boarding alongside our 6yo Springer Spaniel. My family have owned dogs throughout my childhood, from terriers to border collies to our springer Jasper, meaning i’m used to the exercise some dogs require. Any questions just give me a message. I’m currently organising various bits before moving abroad (date TBC) so other than emails, occasional interviews and generic admin, i’m free to cater to your dog’s needs. I have a fenced harden with a friendly 6yo springer who is used to company. We usually take him out for a lengthy walk twice a day, more than happy to use this time to exercise your dog if they’re suited to it, whether that be on lead, off lead or chasing a ball. I’m well aware that each dog may have different levels of obedience and recall, just let me know what you’re comfortable with and we can go from there.

About: My name is Grace and I live in Arnold, Nottingham with my partner and little boy. I work full-time in a professional career, but am able to use my mornings, evenings and weekends to care for your precious pet. I currently own 3 gorgeous guinea pigs, but have always loved cats too. My in-laws have always had cats, and we have always taken care of them when they go away for a few days. I will make sure I show the same love and care to your fur-babies.

About: Me and my partner, Myles, are lifelong dog lovers and the designated dog sitters for all of our family and friends, now looking to open our home up to more dogs. After losing our senior rescue chihuahua last year, our house feels very empty without the pitter patter of paws following us around! We already have many dog beds and blankets for your dog to get comfy in, along with a few sofas and an armchair that they would be welcome to take a snooze on. Your dog will never be left alone in the house, we understand it may take time for some dogs to trust new people and we are experienced and knowledgeable on building up trust safely with new dogs. Your dog will never feel pressured by us, and in turn we hope this means you will trust us with your dogs too!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my day-to-day life. I currently have a young greyhound puppy of my own, which has given me plenty of recent hands-on experience with puppy care, including toilet training, lead walking, building confidence, establishing routines and positive reinforcement. My family dog is now a senior, so I also have experience caring for older dogs and understand that they can require a gentler pace, extra patience and care tailored to their individual needs. I’m also a cat owner to my 3-year-old cat, Spot, who I’ve had since he was a kitten. This has given me experience with both kitten and adult cat care, so I’m very comfortable looking after both dogs and cats. Having pets of my own means I completely understand how important it is to trust the person caring for them. I’m patient, reliable and attentive, and I’ll always treat someone else’s pet as I would my own. I’m happy to follow their usual routines, accommodate individual needs and make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection and reassurance while in my care. Pet care already plays a big part in my everyday routine as I have pets of my own, so fitting walks, drop-ins and pet sitting into my week comes very naturally. I’m organised and flexible with my time and will always make sure I have plenty of time for each pet, rather than rushing visits. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual feeding, walking and toilet routine wherever possible, as I know how important consistency can be for keeping them happy and settled. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll follow your instructions closely and respect their existing routine, environment and boundaries. I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and allow nervous or shy pets to approach me at their own pace. On walks, I’ll keep dogs securely on lead unless specifically agreed otherwise and pay close attention to their behaviour, surroundings and interactions with other dogs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy and receiving plenty of attention and affection while they’re with me. 🐾

About: Hi, I'm Lorna-Rose! I've always loved dogs and being around them. Unfortunately, I can't have one of my own at the moment because I still live with my parents, so dog walking and pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with them while helping other owners. I work from home, which means I can provide your dog with plenty of company, attention and care throughout the day rather than leaving them home alone. Whether they enjoy playing, snoozing beside me while I work, or heading out for walks, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, happy and loved. I'm a very active person and enjoy getting outdoors every day. I regularly go for walks on my lunch breaks and again after work, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I'm also the go-to dog sitter in my family! I've looked after my brother's two greyhounds for six weeks while he was away on his honeymoon, and I continue to care for them for weeks at a time throughout the year. On top of that, I've looked after several of my cousins' dogs while they've been on holiday, so I'm comfortable caring for different breeds, personalities and routines. About: Since being a little girl, I have found so much peace being among animals. I have owned nearly every furry under the sun (dogs, cats, rabbits, guineas, mice, hamsters and more!) and love the unique personality each animal has. I have a soft spot for rescues, most of my pets have been strays and love being able to show them that the world can be a good place with the right people in it! A few years of my working life was spent in a kennels and cattery, and have recently been running a Nature School for children, where we explore and care for wildlife, animals and the world around us. It has been great to pass on my love for the animal world, to the next generation. All ages and stages of life are welcome, from pups and kittens, right through to the OAPs - and the care I offer is tailored to each animal as an individual. I will ensure I follow your instructions and care plan to ensure everyone is as happy as they can be. I've spent my entire life working with animals and children - and yes maybe you do need to be a little crazy to do that! But I do thoroughly enjoy the chaos and pure love they bring everyday. I'd be honoured to care for your beloved pets, and give you peace of mind for when you can't be there. From July, I will be working from home, so can offer the flexibility you desire. I have my children's school run twice a day, so have ample time between 9am and 3.30pm to accommodate your furry friends. I will also be available most evenings for later visits and walks if required. Weekends I can also be flexible. My large car can fit any size dog in, so can drive to green spaces for walks if desired! I have a large tiered garden, consisting of artificial turf, a bark area and decking. The house is a detached 3 bed, with 2 downstairs sitting areas, so your pets have plenty to of space to choose where they feel most comfortable.During warm weather, dogs can access an outdoor animal friendly paddling pool, and our outside space has plenty of trees to provide natural shade and a cooler temperature.

About: I live on my own and own a very active Cockerpoo. I've looked after and taken friends and family dogs for around 10 years. I live next to woodthorpe Park which is ideal for your dog to have a adventure day ! If it's a case of me looking after your dog/dogs on there own then that is totally fine. I have family that would be more than happy looking after ziggy for a while if you dog isn't comfortable around others. I currently work part-time so, so have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I am available during most of the week and also weekends I have a fenced garden which has lots of grass and greenery to run around in. I also live close to woodthorpe park which is ideal for your dog to run around and have adventures.
