“We left our Caucasian Shepherd Cross rescue - Calli - with John and Teresa for a 24 hour period to see how she got on - prior to a couple of week long stints that we have booked with them in February and April. We had also been for a meet and greet prior to leaving her. It was clear from our first meeting that John and Teresa are lovely people who really care about dogs and also know how to look after them and make sure they are happy. We got a photo of Calli out on a walk in the country park that borders John and Teresa’s house. She was given 2 long walks during the day. On collecting Calli, I could see that she had bonded well and was very much at home - which was great to see and put our minds at rest about leaving her for longer periods. Knowing that Calli will be so well looked after is very important to us and John and Teresa are the perfect people to ensure that is the case. Thank you very much. See you in February.”

“we left our corgi with Manuela and were very nervous at first as this is the first time leaving him with someone who’s not a family member. however, Manuela made us feel so at ease. she sent regular updates and on all the photos/videos our pup looked so happy! i am so grateful to Manuela for looking after our pup and will 1000% be returning! would recommend to anyone🥰”

“Absolutely fantastic host for Kora. Seemed like she absolutely loved staying there and I had regular updates which helps massively. Wilf, their other dog was lovely and think my dog wants to go back just to have some more time with him!! Thanks both.”

“Leah and Cameron have looked after my cat twice now, first time for a few days and the recent one was for a whole week. Milo is a very shy cat and is very used to his home environment. Leah and Cameron have gone above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and help him get settled in with them. They have stuck to his diet, played with him and made him a little den so he feels safe. He settled in extremely well with them both and started to get comfortable with them within a few days, he’s been meowing after them for attention and that’s a positive sign he happy. Can’t thank you both enough for everything you both have done for him and won’t hesitate to use them again or recommend to others. See you both soon for cat sitting and thank you so much.”

About: Hey, I’m Dan! My wife, Danielle, and I are lifelong dog lovers and the proud pawrents of Wilbur, our 4yo Goldendoodle. He is incredibly friendly, full of life, and loves making new furry friends! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family had everything from Westies to German Shepherds, so I’m entirely comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Why choose us? Experienced Hosts: We regularly look after our friends' and family’s dogs for day care or overnight stays, so hosting other dogs in our home is second nature to us. Incredible Walks: We’re lucky to have gorgeous country and riverside walks right on our doorstep. All 3 of us love being in the outdoors, so we can ensure your dog gets plenty of fresh air and exercise whatever the weather. Safety First: We have access to local enclosed dog fields (paid) if your fur baby needs a safer, secure space to run off lead. We’re happy to cater to individual dogs needs. Your dog will always be treated like one of our own! I’m available most weekends and have plenty of time to fit your dog into my routine, alongside Wilbur. They’ll join us on a long morning walk, usually through the countryside and farmers fields with plenty of space to sniff and play together. During the day there’s plenty of time to play in the house and garden (weather permitting!), and lots of time for an all important snooze before another evening walk. We have a fenced garden with plenty of grass space. Our own dog Wilbur will be more than happy to help look after and make your own dog feel welcome, comfortable and loved!
“Susan took great care of my fur baby Alfie whilst we attended a party in Farndon for the evening and she was so loving and caring towards him. Alfie has separation anxiety so she ensured he wasn’t left at all and even allowed him to sleep in the bed with her teenage daughter in the night to stick to his usual routine of sleeping in the bed with someone. She sent updates and photos which was really appreciated and put my mind completely at ease that he was receiving the best care. It was evident Susan and her daughter have a true love for dogs and Alfie was completely relaxed staying with them even though we didn’t manage to fit in a meet and greet prior to the stay due to it being such a last minute booking and us living further away. Susan’s Cockapoo was very chilled out and my Alfie had no issues sharing the use of his bed with her lovely pooch. They have a beautiful spacious house and garden and Susan even had a fan running for the dogs in the kitchen as it was during a heat wave that he stayed. I would not hesitate to use Susan for boarding in the future, she is amazing and I would recommend her highly as she treats boarding dogs like she does her own and is very accommodating to their individual needs.”

“Donna was a great cat sitter for our boy while we went and visited family over Christmas. She made sure he always had food, played with him, gave him fusses and made sure he had company. He was so relaxed when we came back and it makes all the difference knowing he was okay while we were gone. She did an initial visit and took down so many details to make sure he was well catered for. Thank you so much for taking care of him!”

About: I have over 15 years of personal experience caring for cats, from growing up with my family’s 12-year-old senior cat to co-owning a cat for 4 years. I truly understand feline behavior, boundaries, and how to make them feel safe. I've even successfully trained cats to walk on a leash and play treat-guessing games! I am a regular, trusted cat sitter for my friends' pets, and I recently completed a wonderful month-long boarding stay for a cat at my place. I live on my own in a large, quiet house with a big garden, making it a peaceful, stress-free environment for your pets. I have a lot of love to give and plenty of free time right now to focus entirely on your furry friends, whether they stay at my home or I visit yours. While cats are my specialty, I am also very open to hosting or visiting calm, friendly dogs to expand my care experience! I work completely from home, which means my schedule is highly flexible and I am around all day. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods. My daily routine revolves around providing consistent companionship, sticking strictly to your feeding and medication schedules, and building in plenty of dedicated time for play, grooming, and mental stimulation (or leash walks if they are trained for it!). Because I have a lot of free time right now, your pet will truly be my top priority. In My Home: I live alone in a large, quiet house with a big, secure garden, offering a peaceful environment free from the stress of children or other resident pets. Before any stay, I meticulously pet-proof the space. Your pet will have full freedom to roam, explore, and find their favorite cozy spots. I am extremely mindful of open doors and windows to ensure absolute safety. In Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure. During drop-in visits, I focus entirely on making your pet feel safe and loved while you are away. Communication: Trust is everything to me. I will send you daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see exactly how much fun and love your furry friend is getting!

“Edwina and her partner were amazing. Lexi was so well looked after by two people that are clearly dog lovers. I forgot Lexi's blanket and toys and nothing was too much trouble. If you want your dog looked after in a caring home look no further.”

About: Hi! I'm Leah, a devoted cat lover based in Carlton. I am known to befriend cats wherever I am and I like to do my bit for the stray cats whilst roaming around on my holidays. I am a big lover of all animals, but cats hold a particularly special place in my heart. I am the owner of Peanut, my rescue cat for the past 12 years who I love to bits. I have cared for him through various health issues and traumas which has given me valuable experience in understanding feline behaviour, administering medication, monitoring health concerns and recognising when they need a little extra attention. I am a self employed yoga teacher and I have set teaching hours in the week. I have the flexibility to fit in visits around my schedule to provide plenty of love, care and attention for your cat. I understand that many cats are happiest staying in their own home whilst their owners are away, and I would love to help in maintaining their usual routine to help them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. I know how it can feel when leaving your cat in someone else's care and so I would do my best to provide you with reassurance that your cat is happy, safe and well looked after. This would include sending regular updates, photos and messages during each visit. I have a genuine love for cats, and would love to ensure your cat continues to receive the love, attention and care that they deserve during your time away.

“Sarah is super calm and relaxed, our rescue dog Hazel is a bit anxious around new people but Sarah put her at ease and looked after her for us with plenty of updates and photos. Thanks so much Sarah! xx”

About: Since moving out, I’ve really missed having my family dog around, so I love any opportunity to spend time with a new furry friend! Whether it’s walks, playtime, training, or plenty of cuddles, I’m always happy to give dogs the attention and care they deserve. I work from home most weekdays, which means your dog will have lots of company, supervision, and flexibility in their routine throughout the day. I grew up with dogs and have always been very comfortable understanding their different personalities, needs, and behaviours. I’ve looked after a wide range of breeds and sizes, from small dogs to very large breeds. At the moment I regularly care for a Cockapoo, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and even a Great Dane, so I’m confident handling dogs with very different temperaments and energy levels. I’m patient with puppies and young dogs who are still learning, and I’m happy to reinforce basic training, routines, and good habits. I’m also attentive and gentle with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra care, or medication. Above all, I’m responsible, calm, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’ll always treat your dog like they’re part of the family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after. My home feels far too quiet without a dog around! I currently work from home in a flexible role, allowing me to provide care and attention to pets during weekdays. I can schedule walks/playtime/drop ins during breaks and lunch. I am also available in evenings and at weekends. I provide safety for pets in their own homes by ensuring i have a clear understand of the pets needs and the owner’s instructions. I engage with the pet to build trust and strengthen my bond with them.
“Laura was fantastic! She was friendly and communicative and I was kept updated with lots of pics so that I knew Frank was happy. I would definitely recommend and 100% book again! :)”

About: A Home From Home for Your Dog. Dogs have always been at the heart of my life, and that love shows in the care I provide. Growing up with dogs and horses gave me a strong foundation, and over the years I’ve become the go-to person for trusted, attentive pet care, whether for a day, overnight, or longer. I share my home with Oscar, my sociable Cocker Spaniel, who loves making new friends. I care only for friendly, socialised dogs, so every stay is calm and stress-free. Your dog will be treated like family. In warmer weather I take extra precautions to keep dogs cool, including shaded areas, cooling fans, and a paddling pool for those hot paws. Before any first booking I arrange a meet and greet, so you can see where your dog will be staying and make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments. Day care and overnight boarding available. Get in touch to arrange a meet and greet. Daycare drop-off and pick-up is between 7am and 7pm. If you need to collect after 7pm, that would move into overnight boarding with a next-morning pick-up, but please ask if you need flexibility. I work from home full time, so your dog gets regular potty breaks and attention throughout the day, and I’m happy to work around their usual routine, including any special care or play needs. My lawned garden is fully fenced and your dog will be supervised at all times. We have great walking options in the village or a short drive away and your dog will always be on a lead when out, unless you give permission for off lead fun. Your dog is welcome to make my home theirs. At night they’ll sleep snuggled in their own bed, with Oscar close by. What to bring: • Bed & blankets • Food (with measurements) & treats • Collar & lead • Any medication or supplements (with timings) Fresh water, bowls and balls are provided, and cuddles are always on offer! Oscar and I look forward to meeting you! 🐾

About: I am a Volunteer foster carer for an animal shelter and have taken care of multiple dogs over the last couple years. My experiences mainly focus on small-mid sized dogs, such as Pomeranian, Bichon, Yorkshire terrier, Staffordshire, Doberman, etc. I have a cat myself so I fully understand dogs’ and cats’ everyday needs, I have the right mindset for understanding their behaviours and am equipped with basic training skills. I’m working part time so am reasonably flexible. I live in NG5 area, but I could travel further as I drive. I’m open to short notice booking too. My partner (who’s also a volunteer foster carer) is home most of the time, although I will be the main carer giver in terms of walking the dog or playing with them. The house has a fenced garden, a spare room for the dog if they prefer, and it’s ideal for dog that doesn’t cope with being alone very well. Except from our bed, doggies are welcome in all around the household.
“I highly recommend this dog sitter! I used their daycare service for three days, and they were absolutely wonderful. From the start, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which put me right at ease. Most importantly, they took fantastic care of my dog, who came home happy and well-rested every day. If you are looking for a reliable and kind person to watch your dog, look no further. I’ll definitely be using their services again!”

About: I've grown up around dogs all my life and they've always been part of my family. While I haven't owned a dog myself as an adult, I regularly care for my sister's dog, both in her home and in my own flat, so I'm comfortable with day-to-day routines, walks, feeding, playtime and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to care for pets. This means I can accommodate daytime walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules and toilet breaks, rather than being limited to mornings and evenings. For dogs boarding with me, they will have company for most of the day and won't be left alone for long periods. I can provide regular walks, playtime and attention alongside maintaining their usual routine. I'm also available for house sitting and can work remotely from your home, allowing me to spend more time with your pet and minimize disruption to their normal environment and schedule. Your pet's safety, comfort and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a first-floor flat in a quiet area and take care to provide a calm and safe environment for any dog in my care. Although I do not have a garden, I live next to a canal, with plenty of nearby green space and walking routes, making it easy to provide regular exercise, enrichment and outdoor time throughout the day. As I work remotely, I am able to keep a close eye on pets in my care and ensure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I will always follow your instructions carefully to help them feel settled, happy and secure while you're away. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind that your pet is being well looked after.

“So happy to have met Rebecca. I feel reassured as she knows about dogs which is important when you have 2 big ones! I used her as a one-off while my other half was away. I will definitely use her again if ever needed :0)”

About: I've always had cats and dogs growing up in my parent’s house and currently own a ginger tabby girl called Pili🐈. Me and my husband adopted her when she was 4 years old, she was coming from a home where she was regularly abused physically and didn't have a lot of trust in people. She has spent the first 2 weeks hiding under our bed and crying through the night but during these 7 years years I've had her she learned to trust again and she is the most loving and caring cat. I have a lot of experience with cats, I treat them with love and patience, and can also administer medication if needed. I'm currently in maternity leave so I’m flexible with visits whenever you need.
About: Hi I am the proud foster Mummy to a lovely tabby cat called Charlotte. She is my world ♡ Charlotte got lost at Skegness a while back for 27 days, but after a lot of hard work, tears and sleepless nights I found her and she was brought safely back home. I look forward to meeting you and looking after your fur babies when you and they need some extra help with lots of fuss and cuddles xx Any of my friends can tell you I adore cats. I always carry around a packet of cat treats in my car as I'm driving around for work providing social care rehabilitation in the community, just incase I see any feline friends on my travels. I have a full DBS check and will promise to give your little one(s) as much love, care and attention as I do my own. One thing I love about my job is the opportunity to meet new people and their pets :) I live in Mapperley and have my own car so I can travel a little further afield. I have experience administering medications onto food and applying eye drops. I'm not confident in giving oral medications or injections, but if shown I'm sure I will be fine :) I can do drop in visits for your fur babies at your own home so your cat feels comfortable in their own surroundings or I can look after them at my property. I am already a registered cat sitter on Cat in a flat.

About: I am a reliable, caring, and passionate dog carer who loves spending time with animals. I provide safe and enjoyable dog walks tailored to each dog's needs, helping them stay active, happy, and healthy. I also offer drop-in visits, where I can feed your dog, refresh their water, provide companionship, play with them, and ensure they are comfortable while you're away. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine as I have my own cats at home. I make time each day for feeding, cleaning, exercise, and spending quality time with my animals to ensure they are happy and comfortable. I am organised and reliable, so I can easily fit pet care visits, walks, and check-ins into my weekly schedule while giving each pet the attention and care they need :) I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding them on schedule, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays or living areas, giving them plenty of attention and playtime, and ensuring they get any exercise they need. In a pet owner's home, I respect their instructions and keep them updated on how their pet is doing. My priority is always making sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away!
“Odeta is clearly a true dog person - she was fantastic with JoJo! Very experienced, with great communication and a solid understanding of the needs of reactive and larger dogs. We felt really reassured leaving JoJo in her care. Highly recommend to anyone.”

“Absolutely fantastic host for Kora. Seemed like she absolutely loved staying there and I had regular updates which helps massively. Wilf, their other dog was lovely and think my dog wants to go back just to have some more time with him!! Thanks both.”

“Odeta was amazing. She looked after Louis brilliantly. She sent lots of updates and pictures. I was happy throughout that Louis was being well looked after. I would definitely recommend Odeta”

“Edwina and her partner were amazing. Lexi was so well looked after by two people that are clearly dog lovers. I forgot Lexi's blanket and toys and nothing was too much trouble. If you want your dog looked after in a caring home look no further.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds and even a hedgehog. I currently have a friendly 2-year-old Labrador and two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to make pets feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’m confident with different personalities and routines, from energetic dogs to shy cats, and I always make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, care and patience. I work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins before work, during lunch breaks, after work and most weekends. Your pet’s comfort and safety will always be my priority. I’m calm, patient and reliable, and I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine, needs and personality. Having pets myself means I know how important trust and communication are, so I’ll always keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind.
“Thank you so much, we had a great experience with Eleanor! They followed Eddie's medication instructions carefully and kept us updated, which gave us a real peace of mind while we were away! They were also very flexible with Eddie's sleeping arrangements and made sure he was comfortable and settled in his usual routine. It was clear they treated him like their own, we came home to a happy and well cared for doggie and would absolutely book them again 😁”

“Oban had a great weekend with Mike and Sarah and their gorgeous GS Zania..Sarah sent us lots of photos and videos of the dogs playing and sleeping ..with Oban getting lots of cuddles off Sarah! We felt reassured and enjoyed our weekend without worry. They took him for lota of walks and he played in tbeir garden..Mike and Sarah are clearly experianced dog handlers, calm and confident.. we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definately be asking them to have Oban again 👍”

It was clear that my dog was well cared for, loved, and enjoying every moment. “Emma has been absolutely brilliant with my two. They took to her immediately. Emma is so lovely, has been really responsive and flexible and is just so good with my dogs, taking time to understand what they need and the best way to care for them. Really appreciate the care.”

“David looked after our cocker spaniel for one night. We had a brilliant experience. Communication was excellent from the start. David asked thoughtful questions and had us complete a form so they could really get to know Saffie which was very reassuring. We also did a trial meet beforehand, which helped Saffie settle and gave us real peace of mind. Saffie was clearly well cared for, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”

“Patrycja was the perfect dog sitter. She gives everything when looking after our springer, taking him on lots of walks, giving him lots of playtime but also relaxing cuddles in the evening. Her set up is well suited for dogs of different sizes and needs. She also sends lots of cute photos of our dog! We certainly trust Patrycja to look after our pooch very well.”

“I am extremely pleased with the care Jackson received today, from my initial call and conversation I knew that Jackson would be in safe experienced hands. Throughout the day I was updated with text and photos of Jacksons adventures, and a great one of him having a nap looking all at home and cosy. Exceptional service given.”
