Leaving a dog is a big decision - but with John & Teresa, we knew all would be well as soon as we first met them. They are true dog lovers who ensured that Calli was well looked after and given long and varied walks to keep her happy. When it came time to collect Calli, it was very clear that she had made a special bond with John & Teresa and that was lovely to see. We have already booked another 8 night stay in April. About: As a couple we love to have dogs in our lives and routines 🐶🐾 Bruno grew up with dogs being part of the family and, from a young age, was used to looking after them. I didn’t have the chance to have a dog of my own until a few years ago, mainly because my living arrangements were not ideal for pets. Over two years ago, when we bought our home, we started looking after dogs for friends and neighbours. We really enjoyed it and soon realised how much we wanted to have our own furry companion. So, six months in, we welcomed our little Faye into our family. Even then we continued looking after other dogs. It has been a lovely way for Faye to socialise, while also giving us the chance to meet more four-legged friends and their owners in our local community. We’ve looked after dogs with a wide range of personalities — from excited young pups who need plenty of attention, play, guidance and boundaries, to older dogs who prefer a quieter environment and a slower pace. We know that every dog is different, so we are committed to adapting to their usual routines and needs as much as we can. Most importantly, we want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, safe, cared for and part of the family. I work from home and Bruno is currently home all day too, so your dog will not be left alone. As we also have our own dog, feeding, walks, playtime and cuddles are already a integral part of our day. We would start by introducing your dog to our home environment and giving them some time to feel comfortable and settled in. We’ll always keep their safety and wellbeing in mind and make sure they feel secure in their new environment. We understand that trusting your dog to someone can be difficult and feel like a big decision, especially for the first time. So we want to make sure we provide a calm, caring and safe environment for all dogs staying with us. To give you some peace of mind, we are happy to send updates 📸 as frequently as you’d like. We can agree on this together when making the booking. We only take dogs from one household at a time, to ensure they get all the care and attention they need, while also reducing the risk of dogs not getting along with each other, becoming anxious around unfamiliar dogs or having interactions forced upon them. As we are always home, your dog will never be left alone and will have plenty of company and attention. Because we have our own dog, Faye, we take introductions seriously. Faye is very friendly with all the dogs she comes into contact with, but we never expect two dogs to become best friends immediately. We allow them to meet calmly, give them time to get used to each other and always pay attention to their body language and comfort levels. We are also able to keep your dog and Faye separated within the house if they need some quiet or alone time. Our Home & Environment 🏠🌳 Our main living space is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area leading to a fully enclosed garden. Providing it’s not raining or extremely cold, we tend to keep the door to the garden open so dogs can access the garden whenever they like. We also have at least three different parks within walking distance of the house, and a couple of others within a 5–10 minute drive.

About: Both of us have looked after dogs for 10+ years, comfortable handling dogs at all sizes. Enjoy playing and working on a bit of training! Chill secure environment, lots of friends use us to look after their dogs for up to two weeks at a time! We walk our dogs early in the morning before breakfast and after work, we work from home so can check on them regularly. Typically leave the back door open so the dogs can mooch in and out at their leisure. Gardens safe and full of toys for the little ones to enjoy. I have a fenced garden away from main roads, very quiet friendly neighbourhood. We have a young Border Collie type dog who is very friendly to people kids and especially dogs! We have a crate available if needed but are happy to accommodate all sleeping styles and eating routines :)

About: We have grown up with dogs and as a family we have always had dogs. We have also cared for friends and families dogs. We have our own dog,a shitzu, who loves company plus we live right next to a beautiful county park and big exposed field. We are a fun lovely family of four. I work full time but work from home2/3 times a week. My husband has a lunch break at home on the days that I am in the office so your dog would not be left for long without company. I have an enclosed dog friendly garden that’s fenced and safe. I have a small playful shitzu who would keep your fur baby company.

About: I have been a pet owner my whole life of both dogs and cats. I have a family dog, a cockerpoo called George who is now 7. I used to look after him when my dad was away. I cater to all needs and will amend my services where possible. I have a 3 year old Husky/Labrador called Milo. He is a very social dog and it would be nice if he made some friends. He has 3 walks a day. I can also walk the dog without Milo. I’ll ensure the dog is safe and always on a lead. I am very friendly and go the extra mile. About: There has never been a time in my life when I haven't had a pet! Over the course of my childhood and adulthood my family have owned and cared for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. So I'm neither a 'dog person' nor a 'cat person' - I love both! Nowadays I care for my year old pet cat, and also look after friends' and relatives' cats and dogs whilst they are on holiday or away. A year ago, my partner and I adopted our cat, Kintaro. As such, I am able to care for pets in their own homes and to walk dogs, but am sadly unable to care for pets in my own home. Fortunately, however, I am a PhD student and am able to work on my laptop wherever I happen to be; my partner works from home and is able to care for our cat if I am out. As such, I am often available to care for others' pets! I am able to care for pets in their own home, and am also available to dog walk. (When in a pet's home, I am caring - but not pushy. This means that I will make fast friends with confident pets, but know to give shyer animals their own space. I also follow recommended guidelines on feeding quantities, give pets plenty of opportunities to go to the loo outside (under supervision), and take dogs on walk twice a day (or more, should they wish it!)

About: We are a loving happy household. There is myself, husband and our son who is 10. We have a cat called Rey who is 6 years old, she is confident around dogs and best friends with our lovely dog, Spencer who is 4 years old. We would love to welcome dogs into our home to give Spencer some company and give you reassurance that they will be well looked after! I work from home apart from when I have to travel to Manchester every 2 or 3 months for 1 day. We walk Spencer in the evenings and occasionally during a lunch break if he can be bothered! At the weekends we always try and take Spencer with us if go out places, but other than that we are at home and take him for nice walks. We have a large outdoor space which is fully fenced, with even a separate gated garden too. The main garden gate is double locked so no one can access from the drive. When it's not raining the patio doors are open most the time so there is also access to the outside. We have air con for when it's really hot and allow access to every room and sofa!

About: I have a great understanding of dogs and their behaviours. I have 2 strong powerful breeds, which I have had from puppies and trained myself. One of these is reactive so training will always be in his life. I have also helped many friends and family members in my life with their dogs and challenges. Monday-Friday 9.00-15.00, however I may consider out of these hours too. I would prefer not to work weekends but again would consider after 12.00 I will not care for pets in my home due to having a reactive dog myself. In your home I provide love and care for your animals as my own, whilst respecting your home, property and privacy.
About: I've always had cats and dogs growing up in my parent’s house and currently own a ginger tabby girl called Pili🐈. Me and my husband adopted her when she was 4 years old, she was coming from a home where she was regularly abused physically and didn't have a lot of trust in people. She has spent the first 2 weeks hiding under our bed and crying through the night but during these 7 years years I've had her she learned to trust again and she is the most loving and caring cat. I have a lot of experience with cats, I treat them with love and patience, and can also administer medication if needed. I'm currently in maternity leave so I’m flexible with visits whenever you need.

Rita can be very energetic but this hasn’t fazed Odeta, who seems very comfortable with dogs. She’s easy to communicate with and keeps us informed while out by sending lots of pictures and videos. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my day-to-day life. I currently have a young greyhound puppy of my own, which has given me plenty of recent hands-on experience with puppy care, including toilet training, lead walking, building confidence, establishing routines and positive reinforcement. My family dog is now a senior, so I also have experience caring for older dogs and understand that they can require a gentler pace, extra patience and care tailored to their individual needs. I’m also a cat owner to my 3-year-old cat, Spot, who I’ve had since he was a kitten. About: I have been a pet owner my whole life of both dogs and cats. I have a family dog, a cockerpoo called George who is now 7. I used to look after him when my dad was away. I cater to all needs and will amend my services where possible. I have a 3 year old Husky/Labrador called Milo. He is a very social dog and it would be nice if he made some friends. About: There has never been a time in my life when I haven't had a pet! Over the course of my childhood and adulthood my family have owned and cared for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. So I'm neither a 'dog person' nor a 'cat person' - I love both! Nowadays I care for my year old pet cat, and also look after friends' and relatives' cats and dogs whilst they are on holiday or away. A year ago, my partner and I adopted our cat, Kintaro. As such, I am able to care for pets in their own homes and to walk dogs, but am sadly unable to care for pets in my own home. Fortunately, however, I am a PhD student and am able to work on my laptop wherever I happen to be; my partner works from home and is able to care for our cat if I am out. As such, I am often available to care for others' pets! I am able to care for pets in their own home, and am also available to dog walk. (When in a pet's home, I am caring - but not pushy. This means that I will make fast friends with confident pets, but know to give shyer animals their own space. I also follow recommended guidelines on feeding quantities, give pets plenty of opportunities to go to the loo outside (under supervision), and take dogs on walk twice a day (or more, should they wish it!)

About: Since being a little girl, I have found so much peace being among animals. I have owned nearly every furry under the sun (dogs, cats, rabbits, guineas, mice, hamsters and more!) and love the unique personality each animal has. I have a soft spot for rescues, most of my pets have been strays and love being able to show them that the world can be a good place with the right people in it! About: Both of us have looked after dogs for 10+ years, comfortable handling dogs at all sizes. Enjoy playing and working on a bit of training! Chill secure environment, lots of friends use us to look after their dogs for up to two weeks at a time! We walk our dogs early in the morning before breakfast and after work, we work from home so can check on them regularly. Typically leave the back door open so the dogs can mooch in and out at their leisure. Gardens safe and full of toys for the little ones to enjoy. I have a fenced garden away from main roads, very quiet friendly neighbourhood. We have a young Border Collie type dog who is very friendly to people kids and especially dogs! We have a crate available if needed but are happy to accommodate all sleeping styles and eating routines :)
