Qualified zoologist with extensive dog experience
I have grown up surrounded by animals, starting with my Godfather's old sheepdog, Bonnie. Since then I have spent my life pursuing a career working with animals and now hold two zoology degrees and a wealth of practical experience. I have several years under my belt as a qualified zoo keeper, have kept dogs of my own and have even successfully trained for medical assistance work using the most up to date, evidence-based and force free methods. I am able to care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and energy levels, and the welfare of your four legged family member will always be my top priority.

Safety, trust & environment
I am able to travel to any address within my radius for both walking and overnight care. I am also able to walk out from my place if you would prefer to drop off your dog for walking as there are some fabulous green spaces near me, but unfortunately I am not currently able to have dogs inside my house due to the terms of my tenancy agreement. I will only walk dogs from a single household at a time and i am more than happy to meet you and your dog before their first walk or overnight stay to help put you both at ease. Ratings and reviews
Joseph has been great with our senior dog. Our dog has fairly complex requirements. He’s on various medications and cannot be left alone which is incredibly restricting and something many pet sitters would have difficulty accommodating. However Joseph has been more than happy to accommodate our dog’s needs which has been a huge blessing for us and such a relief to know he’s being well looked after in our absence. I’d recommend Joseph to other dog owners whose pets have more complex needs as I have felt very confident leaving my dog in his care.
Joseph was so good with our elderly dogs. His calm, gentle demeanour made them relax and enjoy his company. He kept me informed during the day and sent pictures to reassure me that they were fine. I would highly recommend his services and would have no hesitation in recommending him as a knowledgeable and trustworthy sitter.
Joseph is lovely and sent frequent update messages. Would definitely use again!
Joseph was really good with my senior dog, Mia. He was very considerate of her needs and kept me informed on how she was doing. Would definitely recommend him and I would use him again to look after Mia for me.

Schedule
I currently work full time in education, so over the school holidays I am able to offer my services almost 24/7 and during term time I can offer my services after work on weekdays, and any time on weekends
