Vet care/ behavioural trainer
Experienced dog walker/ sitter, behavioural trainer. Qualified in basic veterinary medicine, canine nutrition + canine first-aid. I'm not put off by breeds with bad reputations such as bullies, chow chows, shepherds etc... with the right guidance and tools, any dog is manageable. I'm somewhat of a dog nerd, ask me about the history of the akita inu and I'll talk your ear off for hours if you let me! My favourite breeds include german/ dutch shepherds, malinois, australian cattle dogs, labradors, daschunds, jack russell terriers, rottweilers, akitas (american AND japanese), and of course, staffordshire bull terriers. All that being said... you can't beat a good mutt! Currently based in Nottingham, UK. Please be aware that my availability is reduced during term time as I am currently studying my undergraduate at NTU!

Safety, trust & environment
On our first meeting we will have a chat about your dog, their medical needs, their dietary needs, and their behavioural challenges if any. Please bare in mind that if your dog is defensive and wary of strangers, I fully expect a muzzle to be properly fitted on first meeting. I also require you to share with me your veterinary practice's number. I am trained in veterinary care and canine first-aid, so in the event of an emergency your dog will be safe in my hands until they can get to the vet.

Devon looked after our 5 month old whippet puppy for 3 nights at our house. We came back to a tidy house and a dog who behaved better than when we left him! Devon knows so much about dog behaviour and seemed happy to do some extra training while we were away. Our dog was very happy and has continued to be well behaved. Devon is a confident, respectful and trustworthy, and I’d very happily ask him to dog sit again.

Truly an amazing pet carer ! I have a very large dog who can get a little excited at times but Devon handed it perfectly, looked after Leader so well made sure everything was done daily and overall a really lovely person, will definitely be rebooking !
My dog loves Devon! Devon has been a lifesaver this summer when we’ve had family and friends visiting and were scared to take our nervous puppy. Devon has been kind and patient with Bruno and we couldn’t be happier with his service.

- If your dog is reactive, fearful, or needs a muzzle when going outside you MUST let me know at our first meeting. The same goes for any medical conditions that need taking into account when it comes to exercise/ feeding. I love all dogs, big or small, and I'm not particularly concerned about breeds with a bad reputation so long as they have had basic training.
