“First time using Jade and I’ll definitely use Jade again! She made sure to keep me updated with how Winnie was getting on and send me loads of photos which made my heart melt, Winnie had the bestest day to the point where she didn’t even want to get back in the car! Jade looks after your pup like she’s her own and it’s amazing to have that when it’s needed!”

“Hayley and Pete were lovely, they kept me updated and sent pics of Rocky. He loved his stay and was tired out from all the fun when I picked him up. Highly recommended.”

“Megan looked after our 2 year old Lab while we were away. She was well cared for, and it was lovely to come home to a happy dog. Megan kept us updated during the stay, which we appreciated. Thank you for looking after her.”

“Kate looked after Morpheus for a few days while we were on holiday. She kept me updated everyday and sent me some pictures and videos as well. She made me feel at ease leaving Morpheus with them.”

“Meisha was absolutely brilliant! She booked a meet and greet for us, and her and Freddy hit it off from the start. We fully trusted Meisha, and Freddy felt so at home there - he even got to visit her family which was super sweet, a real “one of the family” feeling. She went above and beyond to make Freddy comfortable and stick to his usual routines, and knew everything about him (we really appreciated it and knew he was in safe hands). We’ll definitely book Meisha again - can’t thank her enough! x”

“Dilma and Eric took a great care of our boy. We received constant updates, photos every day. Our boy came home clean, happy and tired from all the activities (in the good way). Really appreciate your had work. Will definitely book again and highly recommend!”

“Our 1 year old cockapoo Bertie loved his first stay with Karolina, he obviously had so much fun as he was exhausted the rest of the day! Great communication and arranged a meet before accepting the night stay. We wanted to do a night trial before going away later in the year, very happy with the service and will be booking again 😊 thank you!”

“Grace is fantastic. We met up prior to leaving our dog and even booked a day visit to make sure he would settle. Grace is very accommodating and provides a fantastic service. Thankyou Grace and see you again soon!”

“Hayley was an absolute star looking after our Freddie! She was easily contactable & flexible when making arrangements. Freddie loved his stay & was suitably tired when we picked him up!”

“Megan was amazing. My dogs were so happy when I collected then. Taya had an absess on her buttom just a few days before she was due to go but I spoke to Megan and she said she would still have her. With Megan's vet background I felt reassured that she would be fine, and she was. Came back all healed, all meds had been taken and had even had a bath. My other dog is 17 and she came back lovely and rested. I'm so happy and will definitely book Megan again. With out a doubt. Thank-you Megan for having our dogs and good look with every sitting you have. 5*”

“Ebru is amazing! So caring and experienced with cats. She communicated with me throughout, sent pics, and even asked how they were after o collected them, as one has car sickness. Highly recommended!”

About: I've been a dog owner for over 15 years and have done Rover in the past. I'm a relaxed dog sitter that understands dog behaviour and I would never use any form of punishment training. Your dog will be looked after like they are my own with care and kindness. I work mainly from home but have a routine with my own large rescue dog that is usually first thing in the morning and around 4-5pm. I can offer regular walks around these times, some doggy day care (Ollie loves having friends to play with!) and also occasional dog boarding. I do sometimes leave the house for work for around 4 hours so boarding will need to be arranged upfront and for dogs that are ok to be left for a while. I have a secure garden at home and a van that I can collect your dog in to take on walks - we usually go for an hour to the woods or moors and Ollie loves company!
“For most trips, we leave the girls with family, but a big family holiday meant we needed to find another solution. Kennels weren’t right for us, so we turned to Rover. We went through a lot of profiles, but Helen’s really stood out: a peaceful location and a one‑dog policy, which was ideal as one of our girls is very anxious around other dogs. After a pre‑visit, we felt completely reassured. During their stay, Helen sent daily updates and photos showing how settled and content they were — from relaxing around the house to enjoying their walks. They looked genuinely happy. We’d absolutely recommend Helen and her family. If we need a sitter again, they’ll be our first choice.”

“Jack looked after my German Shepherd for one night and provided excellent care throughout. He kept me updated, made sure my dog was comfortable, and was reliable and easy to communicate with. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in good hands. I would happily book with Jack again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog boarder. Thank you for your little ones drawing, I've popped it on my fridge.”

“Patrycja and Hadley were fantastic, they demonstrated just how much they care for dogs by inviting us round so they can meet nelly and make sure they were the right match. Once they were happy, we filled out the boarding forms, got dates and times arranged and we didn't have to worry about anything leading up to the day. Drop off was easy, very welcoming, checked through all our requirements one more time before we left. The updates and pictures we got from each day really helped us relax on holiday, nelly looked right at home and so happy, very picturesque walks each day and cuddles throughout. Couldn't reccomend them enough, and if we ever need dog boarding again I won't bother looking anywhere else.”

“I needed to go out for the evening. Oliver let me know that he was able to help. He came round for the meet and greet and spent quite a bit of time with the dogs, while i explained what i needed. Oliver came round to let my dogs out at the agreed time and spent time with each of them. I couldn't have asked for more, will definitely be speaking to Oliver again about next time im out. I highly recommend Oliver 10/10”

“I honestly can’t thank Megan enough for the amazing care she gave our cats, Monoco and Goose, while my partner and I attended my partner’s grandad’s funeral. It was such a difficult day for us, and knowing they were in such kind and capable hands gave us one less thing to worry about. Megan kept in touch throughout the day with plenty of thoughtful updates and photos, so we always knew what they were up to. It was so reassuring to see how happy and settled they were. She also went above and beyond by scooping their litter tray, washing their bowls, and refreshing their water, even though I’d told her she didn’t need to. It’s clear that Megan genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. Everything was absolutely perfect, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with Monoco and Goose again. I can’t recommend her highly enough – she’s truly wonderful. Thank you so much, Megan!”

About: I’ve had cats and kittens since I was a child so very experienced with them and their nature. I truly believe every cat has a their own unique personality and it takes someone with experience to understand them and their behaviour. I am a lover of all cat breeds and passionate about giving them the time and attention they need. I currently have a cat of my own, Nala, who I rescued 8 years ago. She was a very timid cat when she first came home and still sometimes struggles with trusting people so have the experience and patience to care for cats who may not be that confident around people.

“I was very happy with the care Julia gave to my two cats one of whom is an insulin dependent diabetic. She is intelligent, quick to learn, reliable, honest and kind. I would certainly recommend her.”

“We would highly recommend Lynda. Her love for animals shines through, which makes leaving your pets in her care stress free. We received reassuring photos and messages each day of our break so we were confident that our cats were happy and well looked after. This in turn allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. Thank you Lynda,”

“This is the first time we have booked a cat sitter and Charlotte was everything I had hoped for. We booked 6 drop in visits whilst we were away for a long weekend. The communication from Charlotte was excellent from the moment of enquiry right until the end of our holiday. Charlotte came and met us and the cats before our weekend away and asked lots of questions to help accommodate our needs, even offering to put the bins out! We loved getting regular updates especially the photographs of the cats greeting her at the door and getting a fuss afterwards. Charlotte fed the cats, cleared out and changed the litter and gave them plenty of attention which was clear in her feedback about each individual cat. We came back to their feeding area and litter space spotless and all rubbish in our outside bins. We would book Charlotte again without question and would encourage anyone else looking for a reliable, fuss free cat sitter to do the same.”

“My oldish cat, Boo, has grown to trust Megan after only a small number of visits. It is reassuring to come home seeing Boo, in a relaxed state, knowing that she has been well taken care off.”

Hence I am opening my availability up to provide care for more pets. She kept us up to date and sent regular pictures to show how much of a good time he was having. We will 100% be booking future daycare and overnights with Megan for sure. About: Hi! I’m Jade, a huge animal lover who has grown up around dogs and horses my whole life. I offer fun, safe walks and loving home-from-home stays. Dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention and cuddles, and I always treat them like part of the family. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes, especially larger breeds, and I’m used to strong, energetic dogs who love a good adventure. At home your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving environment with my friendly dog Reggie. I also have a young 5 year old son who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them. Whether it’s a walk, daycare or a sleepover, my goal is always the same — a happy, safe and tired pup by the end of the day! My day starts early with breakfast around 8am before the school run. I do the school drop-off at 8:30am and I’m back home by 9am ready for morning walks and pet care. Late mornings are usually spent out walking, playing and giving dogs plenty of exercise and attention. Lunch is around 12pm followed by more walks or outdoor time, depending on the dog’s needs. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house during the day which means dogs are rarely left alone. In the afternoon and early evening we head out for more walks before dinner around 5:30pm. Evenings are relaxed with cuddles, settling down and a final toilet break or short walk before bedtime around 10pm. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and included in our daily routine Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and personalities and always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, behaviour and needs. Walks are carried out safely using secure leads and suitable walking routes, with plenty of exercise, attention and fresh water. At home, dogs have space to relax and settle wherever they feel comfortable. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house, meaning dogs are rarely left alone. I also have a friendly dog at home who is used to being around other dogs. In addition, I have a young child who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them, so I do ask that any dogs staying with us are friendly and comfortable around children. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet before a booking so both you and your dog can feel completely comfortable and confident they’re in safe hands.
“I’ve booked with Hayley and Pete a few times now and I wouldn’t want my furry friend to go anywhere else. Lots of love, care, and fun walks, and it’s real peace of mind to know he’s with such a lovely family. I would highly recommend. Graham, Hazel, Michael and Snoops. 🐶”

“For a first time ever at daycare I'm really pleased. Obi is a nervous little guy sometimes and Dilma and co. really helped Obi feel comfortable. He even had a little nap which I was surprised at. I didn't know if he was going to be able to settle in a strange environment. Will definitely be coming back for another play day x”

“Natalie was fantastic with my dog. I visited to check that my dog was a good fit and she was. Pearl came home tired and slept the car ride and for the rest of the night (must have enjoyed herself a lot). Natalie double checked the care requirements and ensured that the best care was provided for my dog. I have already booked for a weekly visit and look forward to seeing many more pictures of Pearl enjoying herself.”

“I was very nervous about leaving Tucker with anyone, as he is a very anxious dog around both people and other dogs. From the very beginning, Chloe’s communication was fantastic. She was happy to meet beforehand and do a meet-and-greet so Tucker could be introduced in a calm, relaxed way, which immediately put me at ease. The way Chloe interacted with Tucker made me feel comfortable straight away. When we dropped him off yesterday, her communication continued to be excellent. She kept me updated on how he was settling in and sent regular updates throughout the day, including lots of photos, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be using Chloe again. In fact, I’ve already booked her for next month and plan to continue doing so to help Tucker build familiarity and confidence. We’ll then be introducing overnight stays, which will make such a difference for us as a family, knowing we finally have a reliable and caring person to look after him when needed.”

“Megan is absolutely wonderful!! When she initially came to ‘meet & greet’ our dogs she asked loads of relevant questions & listened to advice given about their characters, etc. She is very friendly & polite, arrives on time & takes great care with our little guys. We get photos of them out enjoying themselves with Megan & she updates us on how they’ve been on the walks, which is lovely. All communication has received a quick response & I can’t recommend her enough 🐾😍”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention Milo receives from Amy. It was clear how much she genuinely loves dogs as Milo warmed to her as soon as she stepped through the door. Amy is reliable, communicative, and goes above and beyond in sending updates, adjusting to our schedule, or just giving Milo a little extra attention when needed. We wholeheartedly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog walker.”

“Julia came promptly and had an excellent attitude. She bonded immediately with our dog and paid careful attention to all the instructions we gave her. She was an absolute delight to deal with and I would definitely use her again - the dog will be in heaven”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Dog Walker I am delighted to share my experience with Oli, who has been exceptional in walking my Belgian Malinois, Loki. As a large, intelligent, and high-energy dog, Loki requires someone confident, experienced, and genuinely attentive—and Oli embodies all of these qualities. From their first meeting, Oli built a strong connection with Loki, handling him with both professionalism and an easy, friendly manner. He is consistently reliable, calm, and clearly dedicated to the dogs in his care. Loki always returns home well-exercised, happy, and relaxed, which gives me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend Oli to anyone looking for a trustworthy, capable, and caring dog walker. His service has been outstanding, and Loki absolutely loves his time with him.”

About: Hi! I’m Jasmine, and I have lots of hands-on experience caring for animals. I currently work as a veterinary receptionist at a small animal vets, so I’m used to being around animals every day and understand the importance of their health, welfare and individual routines. I’m also starting an Animal Science course at college and working towards a career in veterinary nursing. I’m responsible, caring and reliable, and I’m very happy to follow detailed instructions from owners. I understand that every dog is different, so I’ll always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy while they’re in my care. 🐾 I’d love to meet you and your dog and hopefully become someone you can trust for regular walks, drop-ins or pet care! ❤️ Pet care would fit really well around my current lifestyle. I work part-time at a small animal vets and will be starting my Animal Science course at college, so I would mainly offer pet care around my existing commitments, particularly evenings, weekends and days when I’m available. I’m organised and responsible with my time and would only accept bookings that I know I can give my full attention to. I’m hoping to build up a small amount of regular pet care alongside work and college, rather than taking on too much. I’d especially love to build relationships with local owners who need someone reliable for regular dog walks, drop-in visits or occasional pet sitting. I have dogs of my own, so I’m very used to caring for animals safely and responsibly. I make sure they’re secure, have everything they need, and are never left without proper care. 🐶❤️

I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family and strive to give them the attention, affection, and care they deserve. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends so we can get to know each other and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my top priorities. Currently, I’m on maternity leave, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. From September, once our daughter starts nursery, I’ll continue offering pet sitting alongside helping out part-time in our family business. My schedule is flexible around the school run, so I can accommodate most times for walks, visits, and playtime. This flexibility allows me to provide consistent, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I provide care in your home, ensuring your pets stay in the familiar, comfortable environment they know and love. I focus on safety and trust at all times—keeping doors secure, monitoring interactions, and giving each animal attention and care according to their routine. I also enjoy taking dogs on local walks, providing exercise and mental stimulation while keeping them safe and happy. Being active and fit means I can handle energetic dogs and ensure every walk is enjoyable. I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving plenty of love, playtime, and reassurance while you’re away.

About: What sets me apart is that I’m home full-time as I am on maternity leave, so your pets will get plenty of attention, company and care throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I have a 10-year-old sprocker spaniel of my own and have owned several cats in my life, I also have 2 rabbits so it’s safe to say I’m an animal lover! I’m very experienced with caring for pets and understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable, safe and loved while you’re away. I’m a genuine animal lover and adore both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. Whether your baby loves long walks and playtime or prefers a calm, relaxed environment, I’m happy to adapt to their needs and routine. I’m especially patient with older pets and understand the extra care and attention senior dogs can sometimes need. I’ll always treat your pets like part of the family and make sure they get lots of love, cuddles, attention and updates while they’re in my care. I’m currently on maternity leave, so pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine and means I’m home most of the day. I have flexible availability throughout the week and can give pets lots of attention, company, walks and playtime. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I live in a house with a secure gated garden backing onto fields, so there’s plenty of safe outdoor space and lovely walks nearby. I have a baby, a friendly 10-year-old sprocker spaniel and two rabbits, so caring for animals is a big part of everyday life for me. I understand every pet is different and I’m happy to adapt to their needs, whether that’s sticking to routines, administering basic care, or giving them extra attention and reassurance.

I’ll keep you updated and make sure your pets receive lots of love, attention and reassurance while they’re in my care. 🐶🐱❤️
About: My love for dogs started where my family kept our family horses, there were 3 dogs (beagle, springer & Romanian rescue) so I spent lots of time with the dogs. In 2021 I began a role as a Theatre Technician for a Veterinary referral hospital where I primarily looked after sterile services for the hospital but around this, I assisted the nurses and surgeons in caring for dogs in other areas of the practice of all sizes up to Great Danes and Bernese Mountains dogs! Since, I have done 21 sits through Trusted House Sitters, of which, 12 were dog sits. I am happy to share my 5 star reviews from these. I have sat for a range of dog breeds such as Poodles, Chihuahuas, Chow Chow, Husky, Dalmation, Pomeranian, Corgi, Greyhounds and more! Through house sitting I have looked after dogs with special requirements such as post spinal surgery. I have completed my pet first aid course. I currently available for care Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays anytime during the day/ evening and over night. Midweek I am available from 5pm onwards but I am willing to consider care outside of these times if I have prior warning. Holiday rate (Double Rate) applies for overnight sits going into and on the night of Bank Holidays & between the 22 December - 4th January. Rover does not let you specify dates for holiday rates, please note I will manually change the rate to reflect bank holiday rates upon booking request. I will often come to house sit with my husband who: - Has had cats his whole life too - Looks after his mums Bengal cat when she is away so is used to raw feed routines and unique species of cats. - Helped to care for Cassie’s FIV cat Rambo. - Owns 2 domestic long hair cats with me now - Has owned hamsters so is used to smaller animals and their needs - Tom I had hugely helped Cassie caring for her parents two horses over the years so is horse aware . Tom is happy to meet pet parents before a sit too. Please let me know if Tom coming with me to a sit will be an issue before booking / commencement of the sit. I have done various care routines for these house sits so I am comfortable with raw or specialist feeding routines; walks up to 3 dogs at a time, crating, commands/ instructions and care of any injuries as well as administering medication. I am happy to provide updates morning and evening. About: I live in Ripley and work in Matlock Bath so flexible across locations between this radius. I recently joined Rover after previously providing pet care through Cat in a Flat. **Not available during the day on weekends - Primarily available for early morning/evening visits - but can factor in more dependent on my work schedule** I grew up with Maine Coon cats looking after them from their kitten stages right through to their senior years. I understand grooming needs for furry friends, and know that every cat has a unique personality and I always take the time to get to know them in a way that they can feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs. I am confident handling smaller breeds and am familiar with larger dogs through my partner's lurcher. Whether your dog enjoys an energetic walk, gentle stroll, or just some companionship, I tailor my care to suit all of their needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I'm always happy to share regular updates and photos while you're away for complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting your furry family members! I work full time including weekends, but can factor in early morning/evening visits if necessary. I usually have two mid-week days off scheduled around my work, so ideal if you are away during the week. My partner is also flexible to assist with any dates that I am personally unable to attend. When caring for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and relaxed whilst the owners are away. Before taking on any bookings, I like to learn as much as possible about the pet's individual needs so that I can provide the best care possible. I keep lists of where important items are kept, and times for feeding schedules etc. While I am mainly focused on walks and drop in services for your pets, I can look at offering care in my own home if the dates match with my schedule.

About: Hi, I’m Elle! I’m based in Belper/Ripley, Derbyshire and work from home three days a week, while leading a very active lifestyle. I’ve always volunteered to look after family and friends’ dogs, whether that was taking them for walks or house sitting while their owners were away. Over the past few years, I’ve become really close with my partner’s dog, which has only grown my love for spending time with dogs. Through my experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to older dogs with different needs. I’m confident following feeding schedules and dietary requirements, giving medication if needed, and making sure every dog gets the exercise, attention and care they deserve. I genuinely love being around dogs and always treat every one as if they were my own. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits and house sitting during the day, making sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise and care while you’re away. Please note that I don’t offer overnight stays. I currently work a flexible, hybrid role where I am able to visit or walk your pets at any time of the day. After work each day and most weekends, I typically do an outdoor activity of running or walking and would love a fury friend to join me on these evenings, or I would be happy to wind down after a long day, whatever suits your pets needs. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and home is a big decision so I will treat both with the upmost respect. I will always make sure your pet follows their daily routine to help them feel most comfortable, while ensuring they have love, food, water and plenty of treats! I will follow any instructions around your home safety, and I will always send many photos and updates throughout the day.
About: Hello! I’m Brigid, a qualified veterinarian. By The nature of my job, I’m an all animals type of person, but have a particular soft spot for the kitties. Please note that whilst I am a fully qualified vet, I will not provide any veterinary work, perform any clinical exams, or give any veterinary advice. For me to do the aforementioned is neither legal nor ethical. What I can offer is peace of mind for you if you have a pet with a medical condition and needs specific treatment administering, eg diabetics requiring injections, or pets with dry eye. My day to day work is keeping animals happy and healthy, detecting potential medical problems, and administering medications. I do sadly have lots of experience performing CPR in emergency situations, and am full capable of performing first aid in order to get your pet to their registered vet. If I decide your pet ever needs to be seen by their registered veterinarian, I will contact you immediately. I will be available most days, including the Christmas period and weekends. I’m an active walker regardless, and have lots of routes I can take your little one on with me. All whilst taking care of my own cat, Witchwitton! I currently cannot look after pets within my own home. All pet sits would need to occur within your home, but I am open to visiting multiple times a day or staying longer hours.

I have been trusted to dog sit for friends and family for most of my adult life, but have been doing so professionally for the last few years. If you have any questions at all - feel free to message me. I currently work from home so have now got increased capacity to make weekly trips to look after other peoples pets. Hence I am opening my availability up to provide care for more pets.

We’ll definitely book Meisha again - can’t thank her enough! x”

“I was desperately looking for a dog sitter to have our beautiful girl Kiara. I came across Jodie and immediately messaged asking if she could have our girl whilst we went away. Jodie got back to me really quickly and was so accommodating. She kept me upto date with how Kiara was doing and I could clearly tell from the picture that kiara had made herself well and truly at home. She was able to sleep upstairs with Jodie and pretty much followed her around everywhere she went. When I went to pick Kiara up she was happy and content which with my anxiety made me feel so better. I couldnt recommened Jodie enough and we have already agreed that when we go away again Jodie will be the first person we will contact regarding Kiara. Thankyou so much for giving our girl the best time whilst we were away 💓”
