“Barney and Lola had a great time with Nicola and her partner, very waggy tails when collected. Nicola had my two terriers at short notice, kept me updated throughout the stay and was conscientious with asking questions about normal routines etc. Will definitely use Nicola again 100/10!”

“First time using Jade and I’ll definitely use Jade again! She made sure to keep me updated with how Winnie was getting on and send me loads of photos which made my heart melt, Winnie had the bestest day to the point where she didn’t even want to get back in the car! “Meisha was absolutely brilliant! She booked a meet and greet for us, and her and Freddy hit it off from the start. We fully trusted Meisha, and Freddy felt so at home there - he even got to visit her family which was super sweet, a real “one of the family” feeling. She went above and beyond to make Freddy comfortable and stick to his usual routines, and knew everything about him (we really appreciated it and knew he was in safe hands). We’ll definitely book Meisha again - can’t thank her enough! x”

Being a Border Collie, Milo can be quite demanding but during a very hot week Samantha exercised him at the coolest part of the day and kept him relaxed and chilled. I was updated daily with wonderful photos and videos. I returned to a very happy dog and have already rebooked. Thank you so much Samantha😊”

“I needed to go out for the evening. Oliver let me know that he was able to help. He came round for the meet and greet and spent quite a bit of time with the dogs, while i explained what i needed. Oliver came round to let my dogs out at the agreed time and spent time with each of them. I couldn't have asked for more, will definitely be speaking to Oliver again about next time im out. I highly recommend Oliver 10/10”

“My first experience with a cat sitter, Julia did a splendid job, sending me constant updates and the cats seemed to take to her quite well, they can be very sceptical towards some people. Will definitely use her services again”

“Kristina was marvelous. She fed them and made sure they had all that they needed. Cleaned their litter trays. She played with them and brought them a new toy. She kept in touch with me to tell me how they were getting on. I am sure she spoiled them lots. I was able to relax and know that my kitties were being well looked after.”

“Megan has looked after my cat several times and I always feel very safe leaving him in her care. She closely follows the instructions for my cat's meal plan and leaves very thorough notes on how much he has eaten and his behaviour. I would absolutely recommend Megan to anyone who is looking for a kind and responsible person to care for their pets while they're away.”

“We approached Lynda to see if she had availability to look after our cat, Chester, so that we could book a much-needed last-minute holiday. Despite the short notice, Lynda was incredibly accommodating and quickly arranged to visit us, meet Chester, collect the key, and familiarise herself with his routine. From start to finish, the service was flawless. Lynda kept in touch before, during, and after our holiday, providing regular updates and, at our request, daily photos of Chester. As Chester is our 13-year-old son’s beloved cat, this gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Lynda visited twice a day, as requested, and took excellent care of him. She ensured he was fed and watered, spent time playing with him, changed his litter tray, and even took care of small details such as switching the lights on and off. It is clear that Lynda genuinely loves cats. Chester warmed to her immediately and remained happy, relaxed, and settled throughout our holiday. Thank you, Lynda, for taking such wonderful care of Chester. We wouldn’t hesitate to use your services again in the future and highly recommend you to others.”

“This is the first time we have booked a cat sitter and Charlotte was everything I had hoped for. We booked 6 drop in visits whilst we were away for a long weekend. The communication from Charlotte was excellent from the moment of enquiry right until the end of our holiday. Charlotte came and met us and the cats before our weekend away and asked lots of questions to help accommodate our needs, even offering to put the bins out! We loved getting regular updates especially the photographs of the cats greeting her at the door and getting a fuss afterwards. Charlotte fed the cats, cleared out and changed the litter and gave them plenty of attention which was clear in her feedback about each individual cat. We came back to their feeding area and litter space spotless and all rubbish in our outside bins. We would book Charlotte again without question and would encourage anyone else looking for a reliable, fuss free cat sitter to do the same.”

I have been trusted to dog sit for friends and family for most of my adult life, but have been doing so professionally for the last few years. About: Hi! I’m Jade, a huge animal lover who has grown up around dogs and horses my whole life. I offer fun, safe walks and loving home-from-home stays. Dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention and cuddles, and I always treat them like part of the family. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes, especially larger breeds, and I’m used to strong, energetic dogs who love a good adventure. At home your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving environment with my friendly dog Reggie. I also have a young 5 year old son who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them. Whether it’s a walk, daycare or a sleepover, my goal is always the same — a happy, safe and tired pup by the end of the day! My day starts early with breakfast around 8am before the school run. I do the school drop-off at 8:30am and I’m back home by 9am ready for morning walks and pet care. Late mornings are usually spent out walking, playing and giving dogs plenty of exercise and attention. Lunch is around 12pm followed by more walks or outdoor time, depending on the dog’s needs. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house during the day which means dogs are rarely left alone. In the afternoon and early evening we head out for more walks before dinner around 5:30pm. Evenings are relaxed with cuddles, settling down and a final toilet break or short walk before bedtime around 10pm. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and included in our daily routine Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and personalities and always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, behaviour and needs. Walks are carried out safely using secure leads and suitable walking routes, with plenty of exercise, attention and fresh water. At home, dogs have space to relax and settle wherever they feel comfortable. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house, meaning dogs are rarely left alone. I also have a friendly dog at home who is used to being around other dogs. In addition, I have a young child who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them, so I do ask that any dogs staying with us are friendly and comfortable around children. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet before a booking so both you and your dog can feel completely comfortable and confident they’re in safe hands.

“For a first time ever at daycare I'm really pleased. Obi is a nervous little guy sometimes and Dilma and co. really helped Obi feel comfortable. He even had a little nap which I was surprised at. I didn't know if he was going to be able to settle in a strange environment. Will definitely be coming back for another play day x”

“Anna has made the whole experience of using Rover and a Dog Sitter/ Day Care completely seamless and been absolutely fantastic with Lucky. Anna sent me regular updates and videos too to let me know how Lucky was getting on and what they were up to. I am so glad we met Anna through Rover and would highly recommend her for any other puppy parents! We will definitely be using Anna again soon!”

“My two little fur babies spent the day with Becca, Maple and the cats and had a lovely relaxed day there. I was feeling very anxious about leaving them but Becca sent me lots of photos and videos throughout the day, which put my mind at ease. Thank you for taking such good care of them 💕”

About: Myself and my husband have had dogs our whole lives , however since having kids we have always looked after family and friends dogs for short and long periods of time. The only reason we don’t have an animal ourselves is due to going away and we also have the joy from our families pets we care for too. I am a full time mum with two daughters and my husband works shifts so we are around all day every day between us. School runs are the only time we wouldn’t be able to have a dog with us due to the school not allowing dogs onto the playground. We are a fun and active family so walking dogs would never be a problem! Our house is safe for kids, fully fenced out back and doors locked , so the safety for a dog escaping the house wouldn’t be an issue. We also look after our families dogs so we are very used to having dogs around.
“Evie’s first day with Clare and it was clear to see when I picked her up that Evie had felt very much at home with Clare. Having been sent a video of Evie on a wall and pics of her playing, I was as able to enjoy my day out knowing Evie was in excellent hands and being taken care of. Thank you Clare and see you again soon!”

“I was very nervous about leaving Tucker with anyone, as he is a very anxious dog around both people and other dogs. From the very beginning, Chloe’s communication was fantastic. She was happy to meet beforehand and do a meet-and-greet so Tucker could be introduced in a calm, relaxed way, which immediately put me at ease. The way Chloe interacted with Tucker made me feel comfortable straight away. When we dropped him off yesterday, her communication continued to be excellent. She kept me updated on how he was settling in and sent regular updates throughout the day, including lots of photos, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be using Chloe again. In fact, I’ve already booked her for next month and plan to continue doing so to help Tucker build familiarity and confidence. We’ll then be introducing overnight stays, which will make such a difference for us as a family, knowing we finally have a reliable and caring person to look after him when needed.”

“Our rescue staffie Daisy had a great second visit to Sam's house for doggy day care, we received lots of lovely updates and Sam is so friendly. We have now booked Daisy in for a weekend stay as we know she'll be so well cared for!”

“Megan is absolutely wonderful!! When she initially came to ‘meet & greet’ our dogs she asked loads of relevant questions & listened to advice given about their characters, etc. She is very friendly & polite, arrives on time & takes great care with our little guys. We get photos of them out enjoying themselves with Megan & she updates us on how they’ve been on the walks, which is lovely. All communication has received a quick response & I can’t recommend her enough 🐾😍”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Dog Walker I am delighted to share my experience with Oli, who has been exceptional in walking my Belgian Malinois, Loki. As a large, intelligent, and high-energy dog, Loki requires someone confident, experienced, and genuinely attentive—and Oli embodies all of these qualities. From their first meeting, Oli built a strong connection with Loki, handling him with both professionalism and an easy, friendly manner. He is consistently reliable, calm, and clearly dedicated to the dogs in his care. Loki always returns home well-exercised, happy, and relaxed, which gives me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend Oli to anyone looking for a trustworthy, capable, and caring dog walker. His service has been outstanding, and Loki absolutely loves his time with him.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention Milo receives from Amy. It was clear how much she genuinely loves dogs as Milo warmed to her as soon as she stepped through the door. Amy is reliable, communicative, and goes above and beyond in sending updates, adjusting to our schedule, or just giving Milo a little extra attention when needed. We wholeheartedly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog walker.”

About: Hello! I’m Jess, and I’d love to be your dedicated pet sitter. I’ve had dogs in my family since I was a little girl, and for the past 10 years, my husband, our two little girls, and I have shared our home with two wonderful cats. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly understand how important it is to find a sitter you can trust. When your pet is in my care, you can expect daily walks, playful moments, lots of cuddles, and plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and safe. I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family and strive to give them the attention, affection, and care they deserve. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends so we can get to know each other and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my top priorities. Currently, I’m on maternity leave, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. From September, once our daughter starts nursery, I’ll continue offering pet sitting alongside helping out part-time in our family business. My schedule is flexible around the school run, so I can accommodate most times for walks, visits, and playtime. This flexibility allows me to provide consistent, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I provide care in your home, ensuring your pets stay in the familiar, comfortable environment they know and love. I focus on safety and trust at all times—keeping doors secure, monitoring interactions, and giving each animal attention and care according to their routine. I also enjoy taking dogs on local walks, providing exercise and mental stimulation while keeping them safe and happy. Being active and fit means I can handle energetic dogs and ensure every walk is enjoyable. I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving plenty of love, playtime, and reassurance while you’re away.

About: I grew up with dogs (first a Dalmatian, then a Pointer, then two Cockapoos), but properly started looking after them when I was about 12. Since then, I’ve looked after and walked different dogs such as Jack Russells, Corgis and Rottweilers, and did quite a lot of this during University. I’ve looked after older dogs who needed medication, and walked puppies. I feel confident around most dogs and would love to chat with you about what is best for them and yourselves. I work from home so can easily check on your pet during the day and particularly happy if you need someone to check in or walk them during lunch. I’m available most weekends and can do as many check ins as required on those days. I am happy to come to your house to check in on your pet, stay with them a bit for company and do whatever is necessary. I cannot take them into my own home at the moment as I have my own cat and would not want to stress either pet. I’m happy to travel a bit and walk longer distances if that is what your pet requires. If they need crating, I’m also happy to do this.

About: What sets me apart is that I’m home full-time as I am on maternity leave, so your pets will get plenty of attention, company and care throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I have a 10-year-old sprocker spaniel of my own and have owned several cats in my life, I also have 2 rabbits so it’s safe to say I’m an animal lover! I’m very experienced with caring for pets and understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable, safe and loved while you’re away. I’m a genuine animal lover and adore both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. Whether your baby loves long walks and playtime or prefers a calm, relaxed environment, I’m happy to adapt to their needs and routine. I’m especially patient with older pets and understand the extra care and attention senior dogs can sometimes need. I’ll always treat your pets like part of the family and make sure they get lots of love, cuddles, attention and updates while they’re in my care. I’m currently on maternity leave, so pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine and means I’m home most of the day. I have flexible availability throughout the week and can give pets lots of attention, company, walks and playtime. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I live in a house with a secure gated garden backing onto fields, so there’s plenty of safe outdoor space and lovely walks nearby. I have a baby, a friendly 10-year-old sprocker spaniel and two rabbits, so caring for animals is a big part of everyday life for me. I understand every pet is different and I’m happy to adapt to their needs, whether that’s sticking to routines, administering basic care, or giving them extra attention and reassurance.

About: I live in Ripley and work in Matlock Bath so flexible across locations between this radius. I recently joined Rover after previously providing pet care through Cat in a Flat. **Not available during the day on weekends - Primarily available for early morning/evening visits - but can factor in more dependent on my work schedule** I grew up with Maine Coon cats looking after them from their kitten stages right through to their senior years. I understand grooming needs for furry friends, and know that every cat has a unique personality and I always take the time to get to know them in a way that they can feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs. I am confident handling smaller breeds and am familiar with larger dogs through my partner's lurcher. Whether your dog enjoys an energetic walk, gentle stroll, or just some companionship, I tailor my care to suit all of their needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I'm always happy to share regular updates and photos while you're away for complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting your furry family members! I work full time including weekends, but can factor in early morning/evening visits if necessary. I usually have two mid-week days off scheduled around my work, so ideal if you are away during the week. My partner is also flexible to assist with any dates that I am personally unable to attend. When caring for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and relaxed whilst the owners are away. Before taking on any bookings, I like to learn as much as possible about the pet's individual needs so that I can provide the best care possible. I keep lists of where important items are kept, and times for feeding schedules etc. While I am mainly focused on walks and drop in services for your pets, I can look at offering care in my own home if the dates match with my schedule.

About: Hello! I’m Brigid, a qualified veterinarian. By The nature of my job, I’m an all animals type of person, but have a particular soft spot for the kitties. Please note that whilst I am a fully qualified vet, I will not provide any veterinary work, perform any clinical exams, or give any veterinary advice. For me to do the aforementioned is neither legal nor ethical. What I can offer is peace of mind for you if you have a pet with a medical condition and needs specific treatment administering, eg diabetics requiring injections, or pets with dry eye. My day to day work is keeping animals happy and healthy, detecting potential medical problems, and administering medications. I do sadly have lots of experience performing CPR in emergency situations, and am full capable of performing first aid in order to get your pet to their registered vet. If I decide your pet ever needs to be seen by their registered veterinarian, I will contact you immediately. I will be available most days, including the Christmas period and weekends. I’m an active walker regardless, and have lots of routes I can take your little one on with me. All whilst taking care of my own cat, Witchwitton! I currently cannot look after pets within my own home. All pet sits would need to occur within your home, but I am open to visiting multiple times a day or staying longer hours.

About: My love for dogs started where my family kept our family horses, there were 3 dogs (beagle, springer & Romanian rescue) so I spent lots of time with the dogs. In 2021 I began a role as a Theatre Technician for a Veterinary referral hospital where I primarily looked after sterile services for the hospital but around this, I assisted the nurses and surgeons in caring for dogs in other areas of the practice of all sizes up to Great Danes and Bernese Mountains dogs! Since, I have done 21 sits through Trusted House Sitters, of which, 12 were dog sits. I am happy to share my 5 star reviews from these. I have sat for a range of dog breeds such as Poodles, Chihuahuas, Chow Chow, Husky, Dalmation, Pomeranian, Corgi, Greyhounds and more! Through house sitting I have looked after dogs with special requirements such as post spinal surgery. I have completed my pet first aid course. I currently available for care Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays anytime during the day/ evening and over night. Midweek I am available from 5pm onwards but I am willing to consider care outside of these times if I have prior warning. Holiday rate (Double Rate) applies for overnight sits going into and on the night of Bank Holidays & between the 22 December - 4th January. Rover does not let you specify dates for holiday rates, please note I will manually change the rate to reflect bank holiday rates upon booking request. I will often come to house sit with my husband who: - Has had cats his whole life too - Looks after his mums Bengal cat when she is away so is used to raw feed routines and unique species of cats. - Helped to care for Cassie’s FIV cat Rambo. - Owns 2 domestic long hair cats with me now - Has owned hamsters so is used to smaller animals and their needs - Tom I had hugely helped Cassie caring for her parents two horses over the years so is horse aware . Tom is happy to meet pet parents before a sit too. Please let me know if Tom coming with me to a sit will be an issue before booking / commencement of the sit. I have done various care routines for these house sits so I am comfortable with raw or specialist feeding routines; walks up to 3 dogs at a time, crating, commands/ instructions and care of any injuries as well as administering medication. I am happy to provide updates morning and evening. What I can offer on overnight house sitting: - Feeding PM & AM (please check special requirements beforehand) - 1 x 30 minute walk PM & 1 x 30 minute walk AM (please inform me if your dog has specific times to their routine beforehand or if your dog requires longer walks) - Fresh water putting down - Plenty of playtime (if dog requires) - Plenty of cuddles! - Grooming (if required) - Letting out before bedtime etc, crating On a drop in visit: sitting: - Feeding (please check special requirements beforehand) - Fresh water putting down - Playtime (if dog requires) - Plenty of cuddles! - Grooming (if required) - Letting out for toilet break

About: Hi! 👋 A little bit about me…I’ve grown up with animals in my life and have had pets since age of 5. Growing up on a farm, I’ve always naturally had an affinity for animals. I have experience looking after kittens, puppies, cats as well as dogs. I have been trusted to dog sit for friends and family for most of my adult life, but have been doing so professionally for the last few years. Hence I am opening my availability up to provide care for more pets. Caring for each pet is different and I am more than happy to meet requirements of each pet’s specific needs and routine alongside providing a watchful eye and fulfilling their personal interactive needs such as cuddles/petting, treats, and continuing their training as requested.

“First time using Jade and I’ll definitely use Jade again! She made sure to keep me updated with how Winnie was getting on and send me loads of photos which made my heart melt, Winnie had the bestest day to the point where she didn’t even want to get back in the car! Jade looks after your pup like she’s her own and it’s amazing to have that when it’s needed!”

“My dog had a trial night stay with Hayley, he had lots of fun with the other dogs, Hayley’s communication was great from start to finish, conversation over the phone at first, she also communicating with me really well when my dog was in her care and she sent me photos. Thank you so much Hayley I have 1 tired boy after all the fun and excitement!”

We’ll definitely book Meisha again - can’t thank her enough! x”

“This was the first time I have left Milo with anyone apart from family and as soon as I met Samantha I felt reassured.

In fact he was still happy to be there once I came to collect him. Thank you Lone it was a big help today see you soon 😀”

“Monty had a brilliant time, he was well looked after and Rachel even followed our training program so Montys training wasn't disrupted. Rachel kept me up to date with everything Monty was doing and sent pictures too. Overall a positive experience and Monty will probably visit again soon.”

“This was the first time we have used dog boarding. I was slightly nervous at first as we had a 5 month old Labrador. From our first meeting I felt reassured. Sylvia was professional, welcoming and you could tell she was a real love for dogs. During our trip she sent pictures and let us know that he had settled well. 5 stars isn’t enough we truly are really happy with the care Dexter received and wouldn’t hesitate to use Sylvia in the future.”
