“Rosie is so settled when staying with Paula and John. They treat her as a member of their family. I couldn’t ask for anything more, very special couple with lots of love to give. I feel so relaxed knowing she is so well looked after. Thank you Paula &John xx”

“Charlie had a great bank holiday weekend with Tessa - drop off and pick up was easy, I got updates and photos with how he was doing and he was super happy when I picked him up. Tessa was responsive to messages quickly. Thanks again!!”

“Hayley was an absolute star looking after our Freddie! She was easily contactable & flexible when making arrangements. Freddie loved his stay & was suitably tired when we picked him up!”

“Freddie had the perfect stay. It’s always worrying when using someone new but Samantha and her husband was so friendly and asked lots of questions about Freddie which was reassuring that they were making sure they knew things about Freddie to make his stay perfect. The updates were also very much appreciated. The resident dog, Eddie was perfect for Freddie and gave him space. Hopefully Freddie will become a regular visitor as will not hesitate to use Samatha again.”

“Spud had such a lovely stay with Sam! Having a reactive dog, it can be challenging to find someone who understands the extra bit of comfort they need to settle but Sam was great. I had regular update pictures of Spud, which really put my mind at ease! I would 100% recommend choosing Sam to care for your pups!”

About: **I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats and other small pets through dog grooming, pet retail, animal welfare support, and personal pet ownership. I currently share my home with two friendly dogs and two cats, and I regularly care for friends' pets. I'm confident handling pets with a wide range of personalities and needs and I take a calm, patient approach to help them feel safe, comfortable, and secure.** **My experience includes helping to rehome animals, supporting local welfare initiatives, and working alongside a veterinary practice on animal welfare and community education projects. I'm DBS checked, trained in pet first aid through professional grooming courses, and committed to providing the same level of care and attention I'd want for my own pets.** **As a qualified dog groomer, I can also offer puppy introduction sessions, bath-and-tidy appointments, and full grooms during your dog's stay. Grooming sessions are tailored to each dog and carried out at a relaxed pace, with plenty of breaks and positive reinforcement to keep the experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.** **To provide the best experience for every guest, I only accept small dogs who are friendly with cats and comfortable in a home environment. My goal is to create a true home-from-home where dogs can relax, play, enjoy companionship, and feel part of the family while you're away. Whether your dog loves adventures, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply a quiet place to unwind, they'll receive plenty of individual attention, affection, and care.** **I want every dog who stays with me to be excited to come back—a place where they can have fun, feel safe, and enjoy their own little holiday while you enjoy yours. We are lucky to have great walks on our doorstep and are frequent visitors of secure doggy parks nearby so no dogs will be bored here!** I work from home, so I'm here throughout the day. Pets staying with us become part of our daily life, rather than being left alone for long periods. Walks, playtime, cuddles, rest breaks, and any grooming appointments can be tailored around each dog’s individual needs and routine. I live with two small, friendly dogs and two cats in a home with secure, fenced front and back gardens, with a gate between them for flexibility. The house is at the end of a private driveway, with no streets directly outside, and fields nearby with plenty of wildlife to observe. I only accept small dogs who are comfortable around cats and enjoy a home environment. I want dogs staying with me to feel as though they’re on holiday rather than in kennels. I can quickly separate dogs if needed, keep pets separate for meals or rest time, and follow any routines or instructions owners provide. Having worked with many different animals, including nervous and rescue pets, I’m happy to go at their pace and help them settle in comfortably.
“Jodie was absolutely fantastic looking after Buddy. From the moment we met, it was clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs. Buddy settled in straight away and was so happy and relaxed in her care. Throughout his stay, Jodie kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. It was lovely to see how much fun Buddy was having and how well he was being looked after. When I collected him, he was happy, healthy, and clearly had a wonderful time. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Jodie again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter. Thank you, Jodie, for taking such great care of Buddy!”

“Chris and Venetia are wonderful doggy hosts. They were very accommodating and my two frenchies were in great, safe hands whilst we were away. Excellent photo skills too. Thanks so much both, we'll definitely be back.”

“Lisa is a fantastic dog sitter. Had a play date for the first visit so both dogs could interact and be comfortable with each other. Our dog A’mari was entertained all day with 2 long walks, lots of playing with toys and treats. Lisa makes it a home from home experience and will definitely be booking again ☺️”

About: I am a student at the University of Nottingham studying Agricultural Business Management, giving me the chance to learn about animal care and nutrition. In preparation for this degree, I have also had expereince working in veterinary and day care settings, introducing me to real life animal care beforehand which i believe would be benefitial to my expereince. I am mostly home due to the freedom from long holidays and less packed teaching schedules which gives me plenty of time to provide company and care for your pets. Our fenced garden is quite large with both concrete and grass, providing plenty of space for toilet and entertainment. I am also able to administer basic medication for your pet if needed and have space for food storage in case of fresh food. We look forward to meeting your pet and would make sure they get the best care they deserve throughout the day ;) Im currently on summer vacation so spend a majority of my time at home, giving me plenty of time to spend with you pet and watching over them. i have a fenced garden and can have a medium crate at home if needed. doors and windows are locked with windows fenced with netting.
About: I've grown up with cats, dogs and other pets - I truly love all animals and will take the best care of your fur-baby. I have worked with rescue, feral and shelter pets before, and I have taken part in dog agility classes and basic dog training. I am happy to wash/bathe/groom your pooch if required, same goes for cats. I work from home during week days, so I will be on-hand for your pets care, needs and attentions day and night! My work is flexible, so I can start and stop as needed, meaning I can provide them with their required attention - whether that's playing, fussing, or giving them space to chillax and snooze. I have a fenced garden, a small secure catio for cats and live with my friendly house cat Binx who is my fur baby; he loves to play, but if your pet isn't keen on playing then Binx picks-up the cues and will take himself somewhere out of the way. I understand separation can be hard on your fur baby, so I will try and make them feel as safe, loved and tended to as possible. I am used to being woken in the night by Binx, who sometimes panics and starts meowing for me - so I understand there may be some reassuring and extra attention required.

About: Please note, I have marked term time weekends as unavailable due to my working pattern, but may be able to accommodate evening catsitting bookings during these weekends. Please message me for more details! Hi there! My name is Nikki, I'm 30 and I work 2 part time jobs at a university as a librarian and wellbeing coordinator and I've loved cats for many years. I am also a volunteer for Cats Protection. My first proper family cat was Dilly who we had for 10 years until she passed away in 2020 and me and my partner currently have Easton who we adopted in July 2021. Then little Duffy joined us February 2023 after we found her in the middle of a road in Duffield (hence her name!). I love that cats are very independent animals but are also so caring and loving. One of the reasons I love cats is because of how clever they are and that you need to build up a bit of a relationship with them but following that they can be so loyal!

About: I've had cats my whole adult life 50yrs + I love all different cat personalities personally I own a tuxedo. Grey tri colour & a ginger 2 girls 2 boys very different characters I love to give cuddles but also understand the nature of cats. They generally decide if it's your knee or not which I totally agree with

“Tanya is the perfect cat sitter! Kinda obsessed with her feline clients, of which we have two, who also rather liked her 😻😻 She followed instructions to the letter and beyond stating to play and take photos to send to us. We can definitely recommend her services as a kind and caring sitter. 🤗🙏🏼”

About: I went from taking on my friend's cat when she moved into a home that wouldn't accept pets, to caring for the cat when she was pregnant, to raising kittens in their own room of the house, ready for their new homes. I am quick to clear out the litter tray - mainly to minimise the smell! And love playing with cats using various toys.

About: I have an animal-related qualification and am DBS checked. I understand that every cat has its own personality, from playful kittens to older cats who prefer a quiet space, and I always adapt to their needs with patience and care. I am confident with feeding, keeping litter trays clean, giving them attention, and helping them feel calm in my care. My aim is to make sure your cat feels safe, comfortable and looked after while you are away.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have been horse riding since I could walk and I’ve dreamt of being a Vet since I could talk. Although my career path has changed my life for animals has not. I currently have a dog and a cat of my own which I have had since they were babies and now I am looking after them in their senior years. My dog currently has heart disease, due to genetic issues, so I am experienced in administering medication. My cat although she is old she is still as fiesta as ever. She has not taught me how to administer medication but other skills such as patience.

“Jessica was very calm and relaxed when dealing with Luna. They are normally barks at someone for awhile before settling down. Luna instead took seconds this was surprising but nice to know we have felt safe. This was so last minute and Jessica was true lifesaver. We got a report on behaviour and reactive et cetera. The next day I was struggling with the harness .Jessica helped me, it turns out I’ve been putting it on wrong, somehow the whole time.! Luna enjoyed a walk and was totally shattered then it was time for sleepy dog naps the lurches do well.,”

Although my career path has changed, my love for animals has not. I currently have a dog and a cat of my own, which I have had since they were babies, and now I am looking after them in their senior years. My dog currently has heart disease, due to genetic issues, so I am experienced in administering medication. My cat, although she is old, she is still as fiesta as ever. She has not taught me how to administer medication, but other skills such as patience. I’m currently working full time as an apprentice in supply chain compliance. This allows me to be flexible with my working as I am working from home majority of the week. I also have flexible working times so can finish my hours later/earlier than a rigid working week. My dog got a daily walk due to him being little and older, he doesn’t walk very far (he chooses when to go back). He suffered from heart disease- a genetic disorder, so I administered medicine to his twice daily every 12 hours. My cat on the other hand is very low maintenance, but loves a cuddle and spend majority of the day sleeping in my room.
About: Hi! My name is Tia, I’m a 22-year-old animal lover with a passion for caring for pets. I love feeding, walking, playing, and spending time with animals. I’m friendly, patient, and animals tend to trust me quickly. I hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management and a DBS check as well as years of hands-on experience with pets, both through my studies and caring for my own family’s dogs. At my parents’ home, we have an energetic English Springer Spaniel named Nugget and a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lana, so I’m very used to different personalities and needs. I offer boarding, walking, sitting, day care, and drop-ins - all with the guarantee that your pets will feel safe, happy, and loved. Okay, here's that message expanded to 29 words: I'm currently working full-time, so my availability can vary quite a bit. Please reach out to me directly for my most up to date schedule! When pets are in my care, their safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I create a calm and welcoming environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I keep spaces tidy and secure so they are safe at all times. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their normal routines closely, from feeding to playtime, so they feel settled and comfortable. I also make sure their environment is clean and safe, and I always give regular updates to owners for peace of mind.
About: I’ve grew up in a family home where we’ve forever had a different range of pets. We started off with 2 hamsters, then 2 guinea pigs, then chickens and then 2 special needs dogs. I’ve recently moved out of my family home with my 5 year old French Bulldog Elsy, who absolutely adores other dogs. My parents 2 dogs are very needy and require a lot of love and medication so I’m very clued up with looking after dogs with more higher needs. My brother has also been at uni and finished his veterinary degree. & is now a manager veterinary nurse at a vets so teaches me a lot generally & is always around to give advice where needs be. Your fur babies will be my number 1 priority as I believe all animals should be treated the way humans are. I also have full boarding, walking, and pet sitting insurance. ❤️❤️ I work a Monday to Friday 9am-5pm job, however I do have the flexibility to work from home where your furbabies need someone to be home all day. I have a fenced off garden, with plenty of area to play. I have a 5 year old French Bulldog Elsy, who will keep your fur babies company. I do also have a spare room if your dog is currently crated and would prefer them to stay in their crate. If your dog does prefer to be on their own, I do have the availability to take my Frenchie to my parents so your dog has full roam of my house on their own🐾

“Jimmy had an amazing day with Jo and Dave. It was evident from the photos and when we picked him up that he had made himself at home. A lovely couple who we felt completely comfortable leaving Jimmy with.”

“Rachel was fantastic from start to finish. She made me feel very comfortable in leaving Milo for what was his first ever boarding and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. She kept me updated throughout the boarding with updates and pictures/videos showing what a great time Milo was having! In fact I think for the first night back home he was sulking he had such a good time 🙈😂 Thank you Rachel. Definitely recommend and will use again.”

“Martha settled brilliantly with Eve, who was so warm and welcoming… Eve is the first person, outside of our family we’ve left Martha with, and she was amazing. We will now use her whenever we need a sitter. Martha loved her!”

“Thank you so much, Cyrene, for taking care of our dogs. We're so sorry Slinky's hernia caused you so much trouble. We're sure they were very happy with you. If we need your help again, we hope to be able to contact you. 🐶”

“Great sitter, highly recommend. Very friendly, reliable asked plenty of questions on prior meet up to get to know Lucky more. They took Lucky on plenty of walks each day. She hurt her paw at some point on a walk but Laura kept us updated on how she was doing and rested it up for her and bathed it. Really nice family and lovely home. Lucky made herself comfortable and they send pictures also if you'd like them whilst your away. Will definitely book again :D xx”

“We met with Jayne and Brian on a meet and greet so they could get to know our dog Luca prior to him boarding with them. Everything went well and we came away very happy to leave Luca in the safe hands of Jayne. For our mini break away we dropped Luca off with Jayne, where the handover was very smooth and we went through Luca’s usual daily routine. Throughout our time away, Jayne updated us daily with pictures and videos of Luca. Luca had lots of long walks, paddles in the water and playtime. Luca was happy, contented and having lots of fun. I’m very happy with the care that Jayne provided to Luca during our breakaway. I would happily leave Luca with Jayne and Brian again as the care provided was exceptional. Both Jayne and Brian are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Jayne as a pet sitter/carer for your dog as the care and communication is brilliant.”

“Alfie had such a lovely time with Rebecca. He made himself at home and I could tell from the photos and videos that he was comfortable and happy. We will definitely be bringing him back. Thank you again 😊”
