My name is Josie and I run “ Sadie’s Retreat” I have a passion for caring and looking after your dogs to the highest standard! My License number is AWA091 I have been awarded the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 star higher standard rating from South Derbyshire Council! I have experience owning dogs as well as experience at boarding kennels, doggy day care and home boarding totalling over 10 years in the industry. I am also First Aid trained for your dogs best interest. What I offer: - Day Care🐾 - Overnight Boarding💤 If you choose to do overnight boarding, during your dogs stay I will send you photo/video updates, provide dog beds, and take your pup for a walk. All you need to provide is food, leads, collars and coats for any rainy weather☔ I will look after any breed or age of dog but they must be vaccinated. (Proof of vaccinations much be shown.) Please note, I do have two resident dogs (Sadie and Minnie) who can give your dog(s) company. This being the case, for overnight stays and daycare your dog must be dog friendly! My partner Kieran can also be available if I’m unable to be home. If you choose to drop off/pick up during the hours of 8am-4pm it will be Kieran who you will hand over/collect from. He works from home Monday to Friday and I am home every evening and all weekend. He’s very experienced in handling and taking care of all the dogs I board in our home and gives them the same love and care that he gives our resident dogs! He is also first aid trained.

Henry has once again thoroughly enjoyed his stay with Josie & Kieran. We received regular updates which always made us smile and they meant we could enjoy our holiday with the piece of mind that he was being so well cared for.

Our beagle Lola was in excellent hands for a week while we were on holiday. We received daily updates with photos. They made sure she was kept cool and comfortable during the heatwave and she also got along great with the resident dogs, Minnie and Sadie. She’s had the best time making friends and come home a very happy doggo. Thank you for having her and taking such good care of her, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again ☺️
Josie and Kieran took excellent care of Chester, providing updates and excellent communication throughout I highly recommend, and would definitely use again

Schedule
I currently work full time Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, but my partner Kieran works from home so can care for your dogs during the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer a secure fenced garden, two household dogs to keep your pup company, lots of bed space and crates if needed. All you need to provide is food, medication (if needed), collars, leads and coats for rainy weather.

A typical day
During your dogs stay, they will be walked, have ample time to play with their favourite toys. There will also be plenty of time for naps and cuddles. During their stay they can expect socialise with other pups and be given plenty of treats and rewards!
