Rebecca has been absolutely amazing, and after rebooking her for a second time, I can say with complete confidence that she is wonderful. My cat, Smudge, absolutely loves her, and both experiences with her have been excellent. She takes such great care of Smudge and always makes sure he is happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he is in such caring and capable hands. She keeps me updated, and it is clear that she genuinely cares for the animals she looks after. What makes Rebecca truly special is that she goes above and beyond. She not only looked after Smudge beautifully, but she also fed the stray cats that come to my window, as well as the squirrels and birds. I am so, so happy with the experience and incredibly grateful to have found someone as reliable, caring, and trustworthy as Rebecca. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dog/cat sitter.

About: I have completed a Level 3 diploma in Animal Management, so I am educated on health care, animal behaviour, training and advanced husbandry so I am able to give full and accurate care to dogs, cats, small mammals and reptiles (I also know bird husbandry but I can be a bit uncomfortable around birds). I can look after animals at any life stage, including mother’s with young. I am also aiming to return to uni to study Ver Nursing in 2027 During my college course, I also completed about 200 hours of work experience at a dog groomers in my home city, so I have significant experience in basic grooming dogs (washing, drying, nail trims). Though I do not have a grooming licence, I have had practice in trimming paws, ears, tails and hygiene areas. On a personal level, I have grown up with two beautiful dogs, both raised from puppies and they both have had numerous health issues and surgeries throughout their lives so I am confident in caring for sick animals. As well as my own pets, I have worked with and bonded with so many animals at college and would love the opportunity to meet more amazing animals I know how hard it can be to leave our animals at home alone so I hope to bring you and your furbabies comfort and peace while you are apart. I do work full-time (roughly 35 hours p/w) in Notts Train Station with a 7 hour shift pattern. I can attend to animals mornings, and evenings, and I can check on homes during my shift if they are relatively close by. I will follow your house rules and make sure doors and gates are always locked, and whenever I have to take dogs outside I will supervise them at all times, and any walks will be on-lead unless instructed otherwise. For other animals (reptiles, small mammals) I will make sure I maintain proper hygiene if I need to enter enclosures to prevent cross contamination of smells and reduce stress.

Whether it’s my own cat or caring for the pets of friends and family, I’ve always found joy in making sure animals feel happy, loved, and safe. About: I have over 15 years of personal experience caring for cats, from growing up with my family’s 12-year-old senior cat to co-owning a cat for 4 years. I truly understand feline behavior, boundaries, and how to make them feel safe. I've even successfully trained cats to walk on a leash and play treat-guessing games! I am a regular, trusted cat sitter for my friends' pets, and I recently completed a wonderful month-long boarding stay for a cat at my place. I live on my own in a large, quiet house with a big garden, making it a peaceful, stress-free environment for your pets. I have a lot of love to give and plenty of free time right now to focus entirely on your furry friends, whether they stay at my home or I visit yours. While cats are my specialty, I am also very open to hosting or visiting calm, friendly dogs to expand my care experience! I work completely from home, which means my schedule is highly flexible and I am around all day. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods. My daily routine revolves around providing consistent companionship, sticking strictly to your feeding and medication schedules, and building in plenty of dedicated time for play, grooming, and mental stimulation (or leash walks if they are trained for it!). Because I have a lot of free time right now, your pet will truly be my top priority. In My Home: I live alone in a large, quiet house with a big, secure garden, offering a peaceful environment free from the stress of children or other resident pets. Before any stay, I meticulously pet-proof the space. Your pet will have full freedom to roam, explore, and find their favorite cozy spots. I am extremely mindful of open doors and windows to ensure absolute safety. In Your Home: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure. During drop-in visits, I focus entirely on making your pet feel safe and loved while you are away. Communication: Trust is everything to me. I will send you daily updates, photos, and videos so you can see exactly how much fun and love your furry friend is getting!

About: I've done a lot of cat sitting, usually over a long period of time. Additionally I've had a pet dog for the majority of my life. I'm currently at NTU in my second year. So I should have lots of spare time to walk and care for pets. I'm avaliable mostly in the evenings from 4 and in gaps during lectures and seminars I'm very accustomed to caring for pets, especially dogs and cats. So I will have no trouble feeding and walking pets in a pets owners home.

About: 🔖 Full Enhanced DBS Certificate, June 2025 🐕❤️ Full Insurance for Pet Care Services, Present ❶ About Me Hi! I'm Weronika, a highly reliable and knowledgeable Pet Sitter and Dog Walker with over 20 years of hands-on experience looking after animals, both professionally and personally. As a deeply caring and empathic person, I’m also a current Graduate Entry Medicine student. My lifelong passion for animals began at age 5, when my family first started providing temporary, emergency home care for rescue dogs. We cared for pets in severe physical and emotional distress, ranging in size from tiny Terriers to remarkable Caucasian Shepherds. This experience further deepened my passion for and commitment to caring for animals, teaching me patience, empathy, and expert handling. I’ve since worked with pets of all temperaments, including reactive dogs, and truly believe that any animal can thrive when their needs are properly understood and met. I’m comfortable and confident caring for pets of all kinds and sizes. As a former owner of eight dogs, I know how much of a difference trusted support can make - whether you need a reliable walker, an expert pet sitter during long-term travel, or attentive in-home care whilst you're at work. Even as I'm starting my training to become a doctor, I remain committed to offering compassionate, evidence-based care to all pets. I continuously engage in further CPD-accredited training in animal behaviour and care to ensure my services stay effective and informed with the current specialist knowledge. ❷ Additional Services Offered • Dog Training & Behavioural Support - Please contact me to discuss → currently gathering funds for a Professional Qualification as a Dog Trainer; I am attending CPD-accredited courses on the subject in the meantime -- I'm more than happy to use my current expertise to help with training your dog or any behavioural difficulties. 💡 Travel costs vary based on distance - I often walk to reduce these costs and am happy to discuss a fair total based on your location. 🦮 To ensure the safety and my undivided attention to all pets staying at my home, I accept boarding requests for multiple pets from the same household only. ❸ Education & Professional Qualifications ✔︎ Higher Education: • BA Criminology (2021) • MSc Clinical Mental Health Sciences (2022) • MSc Psychology (Conversion, 2023) • BSMS Medicine (2025 - Ongoing) ✔︎ Pet First Aid & Safety: • Pet First Aid and CPR (2025, CPD Accredited) • Pet First Aid for Bleeding & Choking (2025) • Common Household Poisons for Pets (2024) • Health and Safety During Dog Walks (2024) ✔︎ Behaviour & Training: • Dog Health: Dog Breeds and Basic Anatomy (2025, CPD Accredited) • Dog Training Essentials (2025, CPD Accredited) 📚 Current Studies: • Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour & Welfare - AIM Qualification • Diploma in Veterinary Medicine (CPD Accredited) ✔︎ I have experience in caring for: • Dogs (Small, Medium, Large, Very Large Breed) • Cats • Birds (Cockatoo) • Fish (Aquariums/Tanks of various sizes) • Reptiles (Turtle, Chameleon, Bearded Dragon, Gecko) • Small Pets (Hamster, Gerbil, Mouse, Rat, Guinea Pig, Rabbit, Chinchilla) • Other (Tarantula, Phasmatodea aka Stick Insects, Phylliidae aka Leaf Insects) 24/7 availability - as a mature student, I will happily fully adapt based on your schedule and the pet's needs! I can also accomodate any urgent, late notice service requests. 🏠 At your home: When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping everything as familiar and routine as possible. I follow your instructions closely - including regarding the feeding schedules, walk times, medication needs, bedtime routines, and any quirks your pet might have. I make sure they get plenty of affection, playtime, and calm companionship. I also keep your home clean and tidy, ensuring your pet is safe to roam around and explore their usual territory. You’ll receive regular updates with photos so you always know how things are going. I am more than happy to follow any training and behavioural requirements based on your instructions, including the use of tools and specific collars/leads/etc. before heading out for a walk with your pet (if requested). 🌳 In my home: When pets stay with me, they have access to a spacious, clean and safe environment for them to thrive in. Prior to and following your pet's arrival, I prepare the space to ensure a calm and pet-friendly environment with room to play, nap, and relax. I only accept pets from the same household to ensure everyone gets along well and receives personal attention and care. I keep feeding and walking schedules consistent with what your pet is used to and accommodate any special needs they may have, whether very frequent potty needs or administering medication. Whether it’s a cozy spot on the couch or a quiet room for downtime, I make sure your pet feels right at home. I am also happy to speak about arranging a crate for your pet to relax in if appropriate due to their needs.

Our first time with Cat in a Flat and we hit the jackpot! From the moment we met Abi we knew our lads were in safe hands and so it proved. She quickly set up a great routine for Jet and Cooper and receiving cuddles from them showed how much they could trust her! The photos showed all this! We’d like to use Abi again and we’ll also let our cat keeping friends know about her! Receiving all this meant we also had a great time not having to think about how the lads were getting on. FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Nottingham

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Nottingham on Rover is £13.8 per Visit (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Many sitters respond to requests in under an hour. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
