Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from energetic spaniels to gentle greyhounds. I also have experience with anxious dogs and understand the patience and reassurance they sometimes need to feel comfortable and safe. I work remotely, so I’m home most days and have a flexible schedule. I love being outdoors and going on long walks, so I’m always happy to keep dogs active and engaged, whether that’s regular walks, drop-in visits, or longer stays. While I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and treat every dog I care for as if they were my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and always happy to provide updates for peace of mind.

We can highly recommend Lucy for dog sitting and care. We feel so fortunate to have ‘found’ her. She is very friendly, and genuinely caring, and has looked after Marley brilliantly over the past couple of days while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Marley was happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. We feel completely confident leaving her with Lucy. Lucy was fantastic with Mochi during his overnight stay. Friendly, responsive and took great care of a shy lurcher. Will absolutely have Mochi stay with Lucy again.

I've known Lucy for a number of years now and there simply isn't anybody else that I would trust to look after my rescue pup, Polar. Polar had a difficult start, abandoned on a mountain side, and flew 10,000 KM to start a new life in the UK, which of course was not easy. However, Lucy has always been there to give me piece of mind and give Polar the care, love and adoration that he deserves to calm his anxieties and make him a truly happy dog. Lucy has grown up with dogs ever since she was wee and has been the go-to caretaker for all of her friends' and families' puppers too. As a result, she's well versed in catering to dogs of all temperaments, anxieties and ailments and given her love for the peak district, she'll certainly make sure any dogs in her care are very well exercised (unless they prefer to be a couch potato!). Lucy is experienced, attentive and deeply caring. Have no doubt that she's the perfect sitter for your most beloved family members.

Schedule
I work full time but entirely remote so am home every day. I can walk dogs before/after work, as well as keeping an eye on them during the day.

We have a fenced garden and a spacious home for the dog to make their own. This includes space for a large crate if necessary. It is an adult only home, with no other pets
