3. Hope & Rachel W.
About: We (Hope, Left & Rachel, Right on the photo!) have been looking after all different shapes and sizes of dogs for the past 12 years and we absolutely love it! At our home, dogs are truly treated like royalty. During the week we both work from home, meaning that your dog will have constant company! The dogs are fed twice per day, both breakfast and dinner - we can also accommodate additional meals if needed. We walk the dogs in the morning and evening, so they are exercised for at least 90 minutes per day. On days where we have doggy daycare booked in, we take the dogs to a securely fenced dog agility field to ensure that they have full enrichment both mentally and physically. If your dog is boarding with us, we do this activity at least once per week - this is built into the cost already. During the weekend, we do one longer walk on both Saturday and Sunday mornings, combined with a variety of dog friendly activities in the afternoon such as dog friendly cafes and garden centres. We have a fenced garden which your dog would have constant access to through the dog flap. Our three little dogs love having company and will be there to help settle your dog in. Whilst they are all small breeds, they are used to a variety of dogs in the house such as Staffies, lurchers, cockerpoos, spaniels and other small breeds including chihuahuas. We also run a dog grooming business so we can cover any and all of your dog needs. If your dog is boarding with us and you would like to include a groom, please let us know and pricing is dependent on breed.

4. Sim K.

“Highly recommend Sim, my cat is an indoor pampered fur baby so can be a little nervous. He warmed to Sim immediately- have to say I was amazed and relieved. The photos and report I received from Sim on the first night of my holiday ( and after every visit )gave me such comfort that he was being so well looked after. Will definitely be booking another holiday with the knowledge that I have a true animal lover to trust with my precious pet.”

5. Jo I.

7. Emily H.
About: I currently work in the animal care sector with dogs. I am Canine First Aid trained and a qualified dog trainer. I love animals and have 7 pets of my own from dogs to horses. I have availability on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the afternoon after 2pm and some availability on weekends I am happy to work out times. I currently do not offer pet sitting in my own home but I do offer drop ins and walking form the owners homes. I used to be a dog walker so have experience.

8. Ella D.
“Ella is really knowledgeable about dogs behaviour and it's clear that dogs are her passion. She is responsible and trustworthy. My dog loves spending time her and I know he will have the best time! I love the updates of what they are doing as it puts my mind at ease.”

9. Leah H.
“Leah is my sister and I can safely say that she has always loved animals! Her passion and love for animals is admiring, the compassion and love she shows to them is unmatched. She currently is training to be a veterinary nurse and I couldn’t have found a more perfect job role for her. Caring for animals is something that has always come naturally to Leah. She would often help neighbours who went away, by popping over to feed their cats and change their litter, as well as always be up for walking family and friends dogs if they ever needed help during the working week. Leah would be an amazing addition to the rover pet sitting app, not only because she has a wealth of experience sitting and handling animals, but because it’s something she genuinely loves and is naturally good at!”

10. Tehya T.

14. Daisy A.
“Barney was extremely excited and happy with Daisy as soon as he met her. Daisy is obviously very experienced and confident with dogs and we were able to go away very relaxed knowing he was in good hands. Daisy communicated with us regularly while we were away and updated us with photos and news. Communication beforehand updating us with arrival times etc was also great. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Daisy back to sit for us again. Thanks so much. 😊”

About: I had cats growing up and have always looked after dogs on my extended family’s farm. I rescued a 1 year old beagle during lockdown who I cared for for 6 months before him being adopted. I now have my own border collie called Maximus so I’m used to looking after fury friends with bundles of energy! My job is very flexible and so just let me know your usual schedule and I’ll make it work, I am able to accept last minute requests for walks or drop in cisitsz I am more than happy to walk your dog alone, or if they are happy with a friend then Maximus will join us. I have a fenced garden and live a 10 minute walk away from 2 main parks so plenty of room for a run around. Me and Maximus are always trying new places to explore and so as long as you’re happy they’ll be coming on adventures with us!

17. Natasha J.
“Firstly, Tash is an animal lover. She is a pet owner and shows great care and compassion for her own pets, which I am confident she would also show for any other pets under her care. I have also personally seen her involved with training a young puppy, done with intelligence and sensitivity. I believe Tash would be an ideal person to care for other people's pets in a situation where they need that extra help.”
