She followed his routine and even did extra walks. Charlie was very happy when I picked him up. I would be happy to recommend her and will be using her again. Thanks Sheena

John & Teresa looked after our ‘giant teddy bear’ Calli for 8 nights in February while we went abroad. We had previously had a one night trial to ensure all went well. Leaving a dog is a big decision - but with John & Teresa, we knew all would be well as soon as we first met them. They are true dog lovers who ensured that Calli was well looked after and given long and varied walks to keep her happy. When it came time to collect Calli, it was very clear that she had made a special bond with John & Teresa and that was lovely to see. We have already booked another 8 night stay in April. Thanks John & Teresa for taking such good care of Calli-Bear.

Leah was absolutely fantastic with my girls! She kindly came over a couple of times beforehand to meet the girls and gain some comfort around the house which made me feel so much calmer for my first time using a cat sitter. She was so attentive to my cats, kept me up to date and sent a daily update full of photos and info as we'd agreed. I'll certainly be using her again and can highly recommend 😊

From the moment we met Jamie and his wife, we knew our black Lab would be well taken care of and that we could go away for a few days without any concerns about dog sitting. Communication was excellent both before and during Dido's stay, and Jamie sent us plenty of photos throughout. The entire experience was a pleasure, and I would highly recommend Jamie's services. Thanks!

For most trips, we leave the girls with family, but a big family holiday meant we needed to find another solution. Kennels weren’t right for us, so we turned to Rover. We went through a lot of profiles, but Helen’s really stood out: a peaceful location and a one‑dog policy, which was ideal as one of our girls is very anxious around other dogs. After a pre‑visit, we felt completely reassured. During their stay, Helen sent daily updates and photos showing how settled and content they were — from relaxing around the house to enjoying their walks. They looked genuinely happy. We’d absolutely recommend Helen and her family. If we need a sitter again, they’ll be our first choice.

Kerenza was a great help taking care of our cat Sushi when we had to be away for the day while she was recovering from surgery with a feeding tube and medication. Her vet training meant that we could depend on her to administer the food and medication properly. It took so much of the stress out of having to be away for the day. I really appreciated Kerenza’s knowledge, reliability, and caring approach and highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs!

About: I have plenty of cat care experience, mostly learnt over my time working at the national animal welfare trust. This involved working with strays and boarding cats, including grooming, weighing, health checks, medication administering, specialised diets and many more. This allowed me to learn how to deal with all types of cat temperament. I also fostered a senior cat, Daisy, who sadly passed away March of 2025 from many health issues. Although, she had a comfortable, loving end to her life, surrounded by loved ones instead of a cattery.

I can throughly recommend Yeru for looking after your pet. She came and spent an hour of her own time, to meet Mopsy (he doesn’t like strangers) and see if they would get along. He loved her as soon as they met, so I knew he would be okay. I went through everything Yeru needed to know about his care, and felt confident she would be okay with him. She did everything I asked of her, was clean and tidy and respectful of my property. On many days, she also spent longer with him then the 30 minutes that Rover allowed, I can only guess they were having fun together, and lost track of time. From the video and pictures she sent me on a twice daily basis, I could see my dog was happy and well. She’s polite and punctual and a really nice person, and I really hope she will be available the next time I need a pet sitter.

Laura took such amazing care of our baby boy and made him feel comfortable and relaxed. She managed to get him to sleep for two hours (out of 4h he stayed with her), which really showed how safe and at ease he felt with her and her boyfriend. As a very attached dog parent, I was naturally worried about leaving him, so the regular updates and photos meant the world to me and really put my mind at ease. It was so reassuring to know he was in such caring and capable hands. Thank you so much!

About: I owned two dogs when I was in Italy. I was responsible for caring for my dog since I was 13. My dog lived 15 years and the second is now 12 but he is in Italy with my sister. We went for walks in the forest and loved going to the park to play with other dogs. I have experience in walking different sizes of dogs. I also have 8 years experience in looking after guinea pigs. I have 2 cats that can be separated from pets boarding in a different room I am currently off work until the middle of July, so I will be at home most of the day. This means I can provide regular walks, plenty of playtime, toilet breaks, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of attention and companionship. Your pet will not be left alone for long periods and will receive consistent care throughout the day. Lots of cuddles and stimulation. Always supervised and have a pet camera. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always loved caring for them. I have a dog of my own who lives with my parents, and I’ve been taking care of him since I was growing up, so I’m very comfortable with the responsibilities that come with looking after a dog. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow their usual schedule and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection. I’m also comfortable staying in someone’s home and making sure both their dog and home are well looked after while they’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. 🐶❤️ As a university student, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. My days can vary, but I’m able to work my routine around a dog’s needs, whether that’s morning walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company throughout the day. I really enjoy having dogs around, and I’m happy to give them plenty of attention and make sure they get the exercise, care, and companionship they’re used to. My flexible university schedule also means I can be available during the day and adapt to different routines and requirements. 🐶🐾 I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while they’re in my care. I take the time to understand their usual routine, personality, and any specific needs before looking after them. I’m responsible and respectful of both the pet and their home. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep an eye on pets when they’re outside, and follow their feeding, walking, and medication routines if needed. I also keep their environment clean and tidy. Most importantly, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always do my best to give them the same care and love I would want for my own dog. 🐶❤️

About: Me and my partner, Myles, are lifelong dog lovers and the designated dog sitters for all of our family and friends, now looking to open our home up to more dogs. After losing our senior rescue chihuahua last year, our house feels very empty without the pitter patter of paws following us around! We have many years of experience with a vast array of breeds and ages and I have also previously volunteered at a doggy daycare centre. We really do just love dogs of all sizes, shapes, temperaments and age and we would love to take care of yours! Please send me a message for more info about me or if you have any questions. I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and Myles works from home all week. We are free most evenings and weekends and available for long-term boarding We live in a semi detached house which your dog would have free roam of and a secure fenced off yard. We already have many dog beds and blankets for your dog to get comfy in, along with a few sofas and an armchair that they would be welcome to take a snooze on. Your dog will never be left alone in the house, we understand it may take time for some dogs to trust new people and we are experienced and knowledgeable on building up trust safely with new dogs. Your dog will never feel pressured by us, and in turn we hope this means you will trust us with your dogs too!

About: Hi, we’re Leah (you can call me Leah – my legal name is Youngkyung) and Cameron, a cat loving couple based in Nottingham! 🐱💕 Cameron grew up with his beloved cat, Tiger, who was by his side for 22 wonderful years. Tiger taught Cameron the true meaning of love and care, and I (Leah) joined his life 5 years ago, having the privilege of caring for her as well. Even in the short time I spent with Tiger, I learned how special the bond between a person and their pet can be. As Tiger became a senior, we developed our skills in caring for older cats, learning to provide specialized attention to their unique needs. This includes administering medications, understanding dietary requirements, and ensuring they have a comfortable and safe environment. I am currently dedicated to full-time Rover cat sitting, while Cameron works full-time in retail management. This arrangement allows me to promise full availability and a reliable backup plan, ensuring your precious kitty receives the personalized attention they deserve whenever needed. One of the greatest benefits of choosing us as your kitty’s sitters is our heartfelt commitment as a couple to provide flexible and loving care. We’ve both missed having a furry companion in our lives! We live in a cozy, cat-friendly flat, perfect for welcoming your kitty into a quiet and safe space. Our flat especially has a door separating the living room from the entrance to ensure a secure environment for your cat. We’re non-smokers, and our home is peaceful and warm. Ideal setting for your pet to feel relaxed and cared for! 🌿☀️ Let us be your kitty’s next best friends! We can’t wait to meet them and give them all the love and attention they deserve. With us, your kitty will always feel right at home! 💓💓 P.S. I can take the best pictures of your kitty while you’re away!

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life, I've never had a year go by without them! I've had experience with elderly dogs I've volunteered walking rescue dogs for 3+ years, and helped out with walking and watching elderly people's dogs and house sat with cats. I've just recently graduated from university and am currently looking for a work-from-home job in the comics industry, I am fully at home and present and will be able to give your beloved family members the attention they deserve! I have a fenced garden and no pets living here, although there is a dog in the family who visits, upon request. I can separate your pets if they need space as our house is nice and big, there's plenty of room for them to stretch their legs, and a park in close proximity.

About: As a couple we love to have dogs in our lives and routines 🐶🐾 Bruno grew up with dogs being part of the family and, from a young age, was used to looking after them. I didn’t have the chance to have a dog of my own until a few years ago, mainly because my living arrangements were not ideal for pets. Over two years ago, when we bought our home, we started looking after dogs for friends and neighbours. We really enjoyed it and soon realised how much we wanted to have our own furry companion. So, six months in, we welcomed our little Faye into our family. Even then we continued looking after other dogs. It has been a lovely way for Faye to socialise, while also giving us the chance to meet more four-legged friends and their owners in our local community. We’ve looked after dogs with a wide range of personalities — from excited young pups who need plenty of attention, play, guidance and boundaries, to older dogs who prefer a quieter environment and a slower pace. We know that every dog is different, so we are committed to adapting to their usual routines and needs as much as we can. Most importantly, we want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, safe, cared for and part of the family. I work from home and Bruno is currently home all day too, so your dog will not be left alone. As we also have our own dog, feeding, walks, playtime and cuddles are already a integral part of our day. We would start by introducing your dog to our home environment and giving them some time to feel comfortable and settled in. We’ll always keep their safety and wellbeing in mind and make sure they feel secure in their new environment. We understand that trusting your dog to someone can be difficult and feel like a big decision, especially for the first time. So we want to make sure we provide a calm, caring and safe environment for all dogs staying with us. To give you some peace of mind, we are happy to send updates 📸 as frequently as you’d like. We can agree on this together when making the booking. We only take dogs from one household at a time, to ensure they get all the care and attention they need, while also reducing the risk of dogs not getting along with each other, becoming anxious around unfamiliar dogs or having interactions forced upon them. As we are always home, your dog will never be left alone and will have plenty of company and attention. Because we have our own dog, Faye, we take introductions seriously. Faye is very friendly with all the dogs she comes into contact with, but we never expect two dogs to become best friends immediately. We allow them to meet calmly, give them time to get used to each other and always pay attention to their body language and comfort levels. We are also able to keep your dog and Faye separated within the house if they need some quiet or alone time. Our Home & Environment 🏠🌳 Our main living space is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area leading to a fully enclosed garden. Providing it’s not raining or extremely cold, we tend to keep the door to the garden open so dogs can access the garden whenever they like. We also have at least three different parks within walking distance of the house, and a couple of others within a 5–10 minute drive.

About: I have completed a Level 3 diploma in Animal Management, so I am educated on health care, animal behaviour, training and advanced husbandry so I am able to give full and accurate care to dogs, cats, small mammals and reptiles (I also know bird husbandry but I can be a bit uncomfortable around birds). I can look after animals at any life stage, including mother’s with young. I am also aiming to return to uni to study Ver Nursing in 2027 During my college course, I also completed about 200 hours of work experience at a dog groomers in my home city, so I have significant experience in basic grooming dogs (washing, drying, nail trims). Though I do not have a grooming licence, I have had practice in trimming paws, ears, tails and hygiene areas. On a personal level, I have grown up with two beautiful dogs, both raised from puppies and they both have had numerous health issues and surgeries throughout their lives so I am confident in caring for sick animals. As well as my own pets, I have worked with and bonded with so many animals at college and would love the opportunity to meet more amazing animals I know how hard it can be to leave our animals at home alone so I hope to bring you and your furbabies comfort and peace while you are apart. I do work full-time (roughly 35 hours p/w) in Notts Train Station with a 7 hour shift pattern. I can attend to animals mornings, and evenings, and I can check on homes during my shift if they are relatively close by. I will follow your house rules and make sure doors and gates are always locked, and whenever I have to take dogs outside I will supervise them at all times, and any walks will be on-lead unless instructed otherwise. For other animals (reptiles, small mammals) I will make sure I maintain proper hygiene if I need to enter enclosures to prevent cross contamination of smells and reduce stress.

About: Hi, I'm Lorna-Rose! I've always loved dogs and being around them. Unfortunately, I can't have one of my own at the moment because I still live with my parents, so dog walking and pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with them while helping other owners. I work from home, which means I can provide your dog with plenty of company, attention and care throughout the day rather than leaving them home alone. Whether they enjoy playing, snoozing beside me while I work, or heading out for walks, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, happy and loved. I'm a very active person and enjoy getting outdoors every day. I regularly go for walks on my lunch breaks and again after work, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I'm also the go-to dog sitter in my family! I've looked after my brother's two greyhounds for six weeks while he was away on his honeymoon, and I continue to care for them for weeks at a time throughout the year. On top of that, I've looked after several of my cousins' dogs while they've been on holiday, so I'm comfortable caring for different breeds, personalities and routines. I understand that every dog is unique, and I'll always take the time to learn their individual needs, whether that's energetic adventures, slower strolls, playtime or simply lots of cuddles. I'll treat your dog as if they were my own and make sure they're safe, happy and well cared for while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I'll always keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I have a flexible schedule and am happy to provide dog sitting throughout the week and weekends. As I work from home, I can offer plenty of company and attention during the day. For dog walking, I’m available on weekdays before 8am, during my lunch break, or in the evenings after work. I’m also available for longer walks and visits at weekends. Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll take the time to understand their routine, personality and any specific needs so I can make their stay as familiar as possible. I’m happy to follow the same schedule and routines they have at home, including any rules around furniture or sleeping arrangements (if they’re allowed in the bed at home, they’re welcome to have cuddles with me!). As I work from home, your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos, my family often jokes they get bombarded with pictures of all the dogs I look after!

I’m currently working part-time on weekends so i have plenty of time during the week to give your pooches plenty of attention! I’m available for boarding monday to thursday nights and monday to thursday daytimes, however i’m able to shift around my schedule sometimes if this doesn’t quite work for you so drop me a message! I have a big, fully fenced garden and 1 eleven year old cocapoo who’s so lovely and would happily keep your dog company! However, i’m always happy to do what makes you feel most comfortable including crating.

About: I’ve taken care of puppies, as well as 4 dogs. I’ve also done multiple dog walking and dog sitting jobs over the years. I also have years experience taking care of cats, fish, rabbits and hamsters. I’m generally available mornings, afternoons, and evenings by arrangement, and I’m happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs to make sure they receive the best possible care. During home visits, I can stay for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or overnight, depending on your pet’s needs. Visits include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays or small pet cages, letting dogs out for toilet breaks and walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention. I’ll ensure your home is kept tidy and secure and keep your pets’ routine as consistent as possible. I can also administer basic oral medications if required, collect mail, water plants, and take out the bins while you’re away.

About: I absolutely adore all animals from and have since a young kid. I have taken care of family dogs and occasionally stray dogs since childhood including walking, playing, feeding, bathing, vet visits, giving oral medication. My current dog is a senior so I have the ability to ensure any pet is comfortable and the activity is suitable or adapted for each dog whether that be a young or senior dog. During my time at university I was a part of a voluntary group that walked dogs for families that were unable to do so. This was once or twice a week with both extra large dogs and small dogs. I'm in full time education at the moment moving from Ireland to England.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, never having known life without one! I’ve personally owned labradors and Great Danes, but also have experience with other dogs such as greyhounds and spaniels, along with a variety of cats! Additionally, I’ve had a host of other pets, including lizards, chickens, horses, and rabbits, just to name a few! I love animals of all shapes and sizes! Some of my dogs have been puppies, and some I have rehomed when they were in older age. Therefore, I have experience with dogs who may be more nervous or unsure. We’ve kept our dogs for their whole lives, and so I am very well equipped to care for the youngest pups to the oldest dogs! Alongside this, I have completed work experience placements with a canine physiotherapist, and have had hands on experience with dogs in need of extra special attention and support. I enjoyed seeing dogs thrive under this care. Every dog deserves love, and I can promise I can provide that by the bucketful. I will treat your dog as my own, and I can ensure your best friend will be in safe hands. I am a full time student, and so over the summer I have no regular commitments, and therefore I am free at almost any day and time. I can very easily drive, take public transport, or cycle to your home in order to provide service. Due to being a student, I am available for durations and times that many other individuals may struggle to provide. I will also be able to adapt very easily to any need to change schedules, or fit in with your own plans. First and foremost, I believe that it is crucial that all pets feel comfortable safe and happy when in a new situation. I am happy to do free introduction sessions, where you are present, so that your fur baby can get used to me as a new presence, and you can ensure that you feel comfortable with me caring for your pet, whilst also ensuring you have provided all information that I may need. I am used to anxious and shy pets, and so this does not phase me, and I understand that different pets may have different requirements or need different things from me as a caregiver. I will ensure that your pets comfort is always my utmost priority.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my day-to-day life. I currently have a young greyhound puppy of my own, which has given me plenty of recent hands-on experience with puppy care, including toilet training, lead walking, building confidence, establishing routines and positive reinforcement. My family dog is now a senior, so I also have experience caring for older dogs and understand that they can require a gentler pace, extra patience and care tailored to their individual needs. I’m also a cat owner to my 3-year-old cat, Spot, who I’ve had since he was a kitten. This has given me experience with both kitten and adult cat care, so I’m very comfortable looking after both dogs and cats. Having pets of my own means I completely understand how important it is to trust the person caring for them. I’m patient, reliable and attentive, and I’ll always treat someone else’s pet as I would my own. I’m happy to follow their usual routines, accommodate individual needs and make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection and reassurance while in my care. Pet care already plays a big part in my everyday routine as I have pets of my own, so fitting walks, drop-ins and pet sitting into my week comes very naturally. I’m organised and flexible with my time and will always make sure I have plenty of time for each pet, rather than rushing visits. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual feeding, walking and toilet routine wherever possible, as I know how important consistency can be for keeping them happy and settled. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll follow your instructions closely and respect their existing routine, environment and boundaries. I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and allow nervous or shy pets to approach me at their own pace. On walks, I’ll keep dogs securely on lead unless specifically agreed otherwise and pay close attention to their behaviour, surroundings and interactions with other dogs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy and receiving plenty of attention and affection while they’re with me. 🐾

My dog Maisie seemed very happy when she stayed with Liz - and I was tremendously reassured by Liz's experience and empathy with dogs. Liz's house is very dog friendly and has a lovely garden plus good walking options nearby. And Maisie loved the fuss and attention she received. I would definitely ask Liz to look after Maisie again and indeed have already made my next booking.

About: I have always absolutely loved animals, from growing up in a village with lots of small pets to my adult life which has been centred around my love for dogs. I have lots of hands on experience with a family dog over the last 10 years, but most importantly became a dog mum to my very own rescue dog in 2024. I have experience with rescue dogs who need a little extra love and care. My dog is lead reactive on walks which means I have experience with this too. I am currently a primary school teacher which means I am available only on weekends during term time. However during school holidays I am available all day everyday to give your dog all the care and attention they need. I have a secure garden with 6ft fencing all round, which in summer doors are open throughout the day to allow freedom to roam outside whenever they please. During school holiday and on weekends, everyday I take my dog to a public enclosed park and woods area, where he can enjoy safe off lead exploring for at least an hour. He then has a shorter evening walk on lead around the residential area. There is also time for endless playing around the house and garden.
