“Devon walked my dog Toby every day while I was away on holiday. It was very reassuring to know that he was someone I could absolutely trust, and have great confidence in him knowing how reliable he is, and also having the knowledge, experience, and affinity with dogs that Devon obviously has.”

“We have used Aliyah a couple of times recently to check in on our dog and take her a walk, we felt super at ease because Aliyah was great with communication from the off and seemed trustworthy and reliable - which she indeed is. Everything went really well and we will definitely be using her again in the future - things are especially handy on the Rover app because of the updates and photos she was able to give so overall a great experience, thanks.”

“Negin took such amazing care of our little girl! She has an amazing approach, even though our girl is a nervous one. They had a great walk together, and Bridget was really happy afterwards. Will definitely book again xx”

“Leah was really great walking Luna. Luna can be nervous but Leah spent the time building trust with Luna and they had really good walks together. I was also regularly updated and sent photos which I really appreciated”

“Marium was superb. Communicated with us extremely well before the walk and gave us lots of information afterwards. Was extremely helpful tidying up some mess in the house too, and made sure that Luigi had a wonderful time out on his walk!”

“Emma and Will have been fantastic with Loki, who can be a handful. They communicate really well and provide lovely updates from their walks with Loki. They've been amazing at working with Loki's pace, as quite a nervous dog we weren't sure about getting a walker, but Emma and Will have gone above and beyond to make us feel reassured.”

About: Hello! I am a Nottingham Trent University student raising money for Meningitis Research Foundation. I grew up with dogs (Jack Russell terriers, a golden lab, and a German pointer mix) and I was a dog walker for about a year many years ago. I am also a runner, so if you would prefer I take your dogs for a run, just let me know! I’d love to get to know you and your doggies :) I currently work part time at an art studio and am studying for my masters in fine arts at NTU, but my schooling is quite flexible and my work is less than 20 hours per week so I am able to find time around these responsibilities. For walks I care for the dogs by allowing them to stop and explore when they want and by bringing water and a small bowl for if they get thirsty on a longer walk. I also will take the dogs for a run if that is something you would like. For dog sitting I will let the pups out every couple hours or when they want, I will feed them when needed, fix them with clean water, take them for a walk at least once per day, and of course play with them and give them lots of pets
“Nicola was great with Nala, she kept me updated on her visit and provided great pictures of their walk. She was on time, left the house clean and tidy even after a very muddy walk. I’ll definitely use Nicola again! Great service”

About: I have completed a Level 3 diploma in Animal Management, so I am educated on health care, animal behaviour, training and advanced husbandry so I am able to give full and accurate care to dogs, cats, small mammals and reptiles (I also know bird husbandry but I can be a bit uncomfortable around birds). I can look after animals at any life stage, including mother’s with young. I am also aiming to return to uni to study Ver Nursing in 2027 During my college course, I also completed about 200 hours of work experience at a dog groomers in my home city, so I have significant experience in basic grooming dogs (washing, drying, nail trims). Though I do not have a grooming licence, I have had practice in trimming paws, ears, tails and hygiene areas. On a personal level, I have grown up with two beautiful dogs, both raised from puppies and they both have had numerous health issues and surgeries throughout their lives so I am confident in caring for sick animals. As well as my own pets, I have worked with and bonded with so many animals at college and would love the opportunity to meet more amazing animals I know how hard it can be to leave our animals at home alone so I hope to bring you and your furbabies comfort and peace while you are apart. I do work full-time (roughly 35 hours p/w) in Notts Train Station with a 7 hour shift pattern. I can attend to animals mornings, and evenings, and I can check on homes during my shift if they are relatively close by. I will follow your house rules and make sure doors and gates are always locked, and whenever I have to take dogs outside I will supervise them at all times, and any walks will be on-lead unless instructed otherwise. For other animals (reptiles, small mammals) I will make sure I maintain proper hygiene if I need to enter enclosures to prevent cross contamination of smells and reduce stress.

“Colleen and Frieda are probably best of friends already. We all know our fur babies are very precious and I feel at ease knowing Colleen looks after her whilst I am at work. Super lucky to have found her.”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Nottingham
This was our first time booking with Tom, and we were really happy with the experience. Communication was good, and he took the time to make sure JoJo felt comfortable and had space when needed. We’re always a bit nervous leaving our anxious dog with someone new, but Tom made us feel reassured throughout. Would definitely recommend!

Adrianna is so lovely and professional, my dog Gus warmed to her straight away. I would definitely recommend Adrianna to walk your dog. She was on time, brilliant communication and has such a great energy, we are looking forward to making this a regular weekly walk x
