Prices may vary based on client needs and level of care. Walks and drop-ins offered at a standard hourly rate. I have experience of working with animals of all shapes and sizes, from cows and horses to axolotls and guinea pigs. I enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I have experience with nervous or reactive pets and use desensitisation and counter-conditioning with positive re-enforcement to help them feel calm, confident and accomplished. I’m especially passionate about enrichment, using games, puzzles, and activities that engage an animal’s natural skills. Enrichment not only keeps pets mentally and physically stimulated, but also strengthens the bond between pet and carer and helps prevent boredom related or problem behaviours. I aim to provide care that keeps animals happy, confident, and thriving while you’re away. I am extremely passionate about animals and will do everything I can to make their experience the best it can be. From researching new innovative ideas to combatting their anxieties, or new fun games to play to battle boredom and creating training plans to giving the best cuddles! 🐾💛 A Little Piece of My Heart — And Why Animals Mean Everything to Me I’ve always felt a deep connection with animals, as if they understand me in ways that words often can’t. Their gentle nature, calming presence, and unwavering loyalty have been my rock, providing comfort, connection, and joy throughout my life. They have a way of reaching places in us that need healing, understanding, and peace. As a neurodivergent person, my bond with animals has been especially profound. They accept me without judgment, offering a sense of belonging and calm in overwhelming situations. They’ve helped me regulate, reconnect, and find peace on days when the world felt too loud. Animals are not just my passion, they’re my safe haven, my joy, and the reason I started Chester's Angel. I wanted to create a pet care service that’s more than just standard care. I strive to offer tailored support that fits your pet’s individual needs, honouring the unique bond between you and your pet.

I offer walks both long and short based on the pets individual needs and preferences. One hour is offered as standard to both walks and drop ins. I like to offer experiences rather than a generic 'walk' or drop in so will incorporate enrichment in everything I do. I will take your pets on a sniffari or play games with them. I love to incorporate enrichment into everything that I do from visiting new places, to meeting new dogs for a playdate. Every package is bespoke to your pets needs, and tailored with you and your pet in mind. If you book with me for a stay, I will offer a proposed plan in which I will outline everything that I will do while with your pets. From feeding and medication schedule, to places we hope to visit together. I will endeavour to meet all your requests and will work with your pets on basic training and commands to ensure that we maintain consistency in their routines. I am not able to offer boarding in my accommodation due to insurance

Maria was amazing with the drop in visit for Maxwell taking into consideration the warm weather to adapt the visit. We came back to a very happy pup, he very much enjoyed the treat Maria brought him! Couldn't ask for a better sitter 😊
Maria did a fantastic job of looking after our two grey hounds. Kept us update throughout our holiday with pictures and videos of what she had done each day. Maria did amazing brain training games with our dogs Kept the house clean and tidy throughout. Thank you so much - would definitely recommend her.

Schedule
I volunteer with various organisations on a part time basis including Derbyshire Mind and The Cinnamon Trust so I have a very flexible routine perfect anyone looking for a new pet nanny or walker. I am able to offer house and pet sits in the home for both long and short stays, and will send daily 'pupdates' for you to enjoy, so you can be assured that your pet is in the best hands!
