I have experience of working with animals of all shapes and sizes, from cows and horses to axolotls and guinea pigs. I enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I have experience with nervous or reactive pets and use desensitisation and counter-conditioning with positive re-enforcement to help them feel calm, confident and accomplished. I’m especially passionate about enrichment, using games, puzzles, and activities that engage an animal’s natural skills. Enrichment not only keeps pets mentally and physically stimulated, but also strengthens the bond between pet and carer and helps prevent boredom related or problem behaviours. I aim to provide care that keeps animals happy, confident, and thriving while you’re away. I am extremely passionate about animals and will do everything I can to make their experience the best it can be.
