“Blake was awesome with Hugo, I saw them on the way back and she had Hugo's full attention, he was following instructions and being very well behaved - not easy for a 16 week old puppy in a busy place!”

About: Dogs have literally been my whole world. Growing up... I had everything from my mum's sassy little sausage dog to big, bouncy German Shepherds. My proudest moment? Adopting a retired police dog... and at one point, having three large dogs under my roof all at once. I live for the chaos! Love playing, training, talking to them (full conversations, obviously!), and walking them endlessly until their tongues are hanging out. Here's the thing... I'm petite. But walking these big, powerful dogs actually gives me the bravery to explore Leicester properly. Dogs show me pathways and hidden spots I'd never find alone... and in return, I keep them safe, exercised, and happy. Now I'm settled on Vaughan Way, right in the city centre, and I've been loving discovering Abbey Park, the riverside, and every green patch Leicester has to offer. I'd genuinely love for your pup to be my next walking buddy. I'm actually out of work right now, so my schedule is completely open! I'm on this whole healthy self-betterment wave, and honestly, breaking up my day with a good dog walk would be amazing for both of us. Noon or night, I'm totally flexible and happy to fit around your pup's routine. Let's get those tails wagging! Safety is literally my number one priority. I've had three large dogs at once, including a retired police dog... so I know how to read their body language and keep them out of trouble. On walks, I stay totally focused on the dog, no phone scrolling, just me and your pup exploring Abbey Park, the riverside, or wherever they love to sniff. I keep them on a lead unless you say otherwise, and I always carry poop bags and water. Honestly, I just want them to feel safe, happy, and completely themselves while you're away.

But my timetable is very flexible. I can do also weekends which are more suitable and more free for me. I love going on walks throughout the city and if i had company by a dog that would be really good. About: I truly treat every pet as if they were my own with patience, affection and close attention to their unique needs. What sets me apart is my calm and reliable nature, especially with pets that may be anxious or need extra reassurance. I have experience caring for both energetic puppies and senior dogs who require gentler handling and a slower pace. I’m attentive to routines, medication needs and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe and loved while you're away. Pet care fits into my routine perfectly as I currently work part-time, usually between 5pm and 11pm. This means I’m available during the day for walks or extended visits. I enjoy starting my mornings with pet care whether it’s a walk, playtime, or just keeping your pet company. On my days off, I’m also flexible with longer daytime care. When doing dog walks or home visits, I always prioritise the pet’s safety, comfort and routine. I make sure collars and harnesses are secure before walks, avoid unsafe or overly busy areas, and adjust the pace based on the dog’s energy level and needs. During home visits, I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and fresh water to playtime or just some company. I respect your space and make sure everything is locked and secure when I leave. I also send updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is well cared for.
“Martina is fantastic 😊 Our dog Ted loves her. She gives him a good sensory walk and then plays with him afterwards. She is always on time, super friendly and really knowledgeable. I am delighted to recommend Martina - we are lucky to have found her 😁”

About: I had a dog back home for over five years, and he was such a big part of my life. I really miss having that companionship and joy, especially the little moments that make each day brighter. That’s why I signed up for Rover—to bring that feeling back and spend time with dogs again. Also I’ve taken care of pets back at my home country. I have looked after many of my friends and family members dogs. What makes me different is that I will try my best to keep your pet happy. When I study I stay home and I have plenty of time to watch your pet and give it what it needs, anytime it needs it High windows create a safe environment for a pet, plenty of doors to stop a pet from escaping. And I am always close to it to watch it
“The lovely Nadia, and her equally lovely daughter, walked Stan for me this morning, and did such a great job! It was my first time using this app, and she really put me at ease. They popped round to meet Stan the day before (and got on like a house on fire), so he was mega excited to see them again this morning! I'll definitely be hiring Nadia again, and would highly recommend her services! Stanley has 2 new best friends :)”

About: I’ve always been around animals but dogs have always had my heart. My sister and I got our pup Nala in 2023 when she was just 8 weeks old which feels like forever ago and like yesterday at the same time. Loosing teeth, medication, emergency vet appointments, potty training, heat cycles, I’ve done it all ! And confident in my ability to care for your fur baby I’m currently at uni studying paramedic science and love every bit of it. Demanding course so I’m normally free weekends and weekdays but after 4pm I care for dogs in their own home to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow their routine, give them plenty of walks, playtime, and love, and make sure they feel happy and cared for while you’re away.
