Health conditions: Any medical issues, allergies, or mobility concerns. Medications: What they take, when they take it, and how they prefer it to be given. Diet and feeding schedule: Food type, meal times, treats allowed, and any dietary restrictions. Walking routine: Preferred routes, walking pace, and how they behave on the lead. Social preferences: How they respond to other dogs, people, or new environments. Favorite things: Toys, games, comfort items, or routines that help them feel relaxed and happy. Throughout the day, I travel between homes for dog walks, drop-ins, or pet-sitting visits. Each visit is personalised: some pets need energetic playtime, some prefer calm companionship, and others enjoy a relaxing walk around their favourite routes. I always take time to observe their behaviour, offer reassurance, and make sure they feel comfortable and happy. I provide regular updates to owners, including messages, photos, and notes about how their pet is doing. Safety is always a priority, so I keep a close eye on the environment, use appropriate equipment, and follow each pet’s normal feeding, walking, and medication routine. I finish the day by reviewing my visits, confirming upcoming bookings, and double-checking that every pet has received the care they need.
