About: I have been around animals all my life and was lucky enough to grow up with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and hamsters- to name a few. I am a very loving, relaxed and laidback pet owner and love being around animals. I happily share my sofa and bed with my pets, so if that is something your dog would like, they would feel right at home when staying with me. My dog Oscar is a friendly and playful British bulldog and I also have 2 x 10 year old cats so any dog visiting would have friends to play with. I also have experience looking after puppies as well as older dogs. I work 4 long day a week but am free over the weekends to look after your dog. I generally walk Oscar once a day for an hour but sometimes he gets an additional half hour walk as well so can easily offer this for your dog. I have a large enclosed garden and space in the house to keep any dog separate from Oscar at nighttime if needed. There is also space for a crate if you prefer your dog to sleep in a crate.

Kara is double-coated so struggles in the heat, it was 28 degrees so I was especially impressed that Milena was so thoughtful- she used a cooling blanket and even gave her some frozen blueberries and watermelon to keep Kara comfortable. About: I have been around animals all my life and was lucky enough to grow up with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and hamsters- to name a few. I am a very loving, relaxed and laidback pet owner and love being around animals. I happily share my sofa and bed with my pets, so if that is something your dog would like, they would feel right at home when staying with me. My dog Oscar is a friendly and playful British bulldog and I also have 2 x 10 year old cats so any dog visiting would have friends to play with. I also have experience looking after puppies as well as older dogs. I work 4 long day a week but am free over the weekends to look after your dog. I generally walk Oscar once a day for an hour but sometimes he gets an additional half hour walk as well so can easily offer this for your dog. I have a large enclosed garden and space in the house to keep any dog separate from Oscar at nighttime if needed. There is also space for a crate if you prefer your dog to sleep in a crate.

“Milena looked after my dog Kara for a day & night and I couldn’t have asked for better care. She sent me plenty of updates and photos throughout, which gave me real peace of mind. Kara had a wonderful time playing with her dog Sky and her kids, and got lots of cuddles too. Kara is double-coated so struggles in the heat, it was 28 degrees so I was especially impressed that Milena was so thoughtful- she used a cooling blanket and even gave her some frozen blueberries and watermelon to keep Kara comfortable. About: I bloody love animals. No, really. Working with animals is probably the only career I could get out of bed for on a daily basis. I've looked after pets of all varieties for about 20 years. Dogs, cats, budgies, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits - I even rode horses once. I am a psychologist by profession, and have a BSc and MSc degree. I work full time as a researcher in the Leicester/Nottingham area, and work primarily with mental health and personality disorder. It is because I'm a psychologist that I realise how important it is to spend time with animals. Just their presence is invariably good for psychological well-being, and come on, a dog skidding around on a floor is better entertainment than any TV. I think these dogsitting sessions would be fantastic, as it gives me a chance to help you while your pet brings a bit of joy to someone else. I am trustworthy, responsible and hardworking, and I live in a stable home with my partner; I am fully DBS checked and have experience working with children and vulnerable groups.
