The initial meet & greet went brilliant, our dog Iggi can be reticent with people she doesn’t know but immediately warmed to Angie. She excitedly greeted her when going on a walk and Angie always sent a little report with each walk and a couple of photos. Iggi came back from each walk sated and happy. About: I’ve had pets ever since I was little and loved looking after them. I absolutely love nature and all animals (I don’t eat meat and my dream is to save the environment). My dogs, Sky and Lolly, and my cat, Ivy, are my whole world so I know how scary it is to leave your fur-baby with someone new. Alongside my veterinary nursing training, I have been pet sitting through Rover for the past few months, giving me the opportunity to care for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and personalities. I love providing pets with the care, attention and reassurance they need while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy and relaxed in their own home. I currently work at a boarding kennels, where I care for dogs every day. My role includes feeding, exercising, cleaning, administering medications when required, monitoring behaviour and ensuring every dog is comfortable, healthy and happy. I have owned dogs and cats for most of my life and currently have an English Bull Terrier puppy called Moose, along with my two cats, Cookie and Colin. Cookie is a senior cat with arthritis, so I have plenty of experience caring for older pets and understanding their individual needs. If needed, I can do a morning walk, a walk during my lunch break and an evening walk. On Fridays I work an evening shift at a pub, so I would only be available with your pet from around 5pm–6pm before leaving for work and returning around midnight. Because of this I usually avoid Friday bookings, but I’m happy to discuss it with owners if this schedule still suits their pet. On Saturdays I work at the pub from 12pm–6pm, so I’m available in the morning and again in the evening. I am fully available on Sundays. I currently offer pet care in the owner’s home rather than bringing pets to my own home. I find that many animals feel much more relaxed and comfortable staying in their familiar environment, where they have their usual routine, smells and surroundings. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, calm and well cared for while their owners are away. As a veterinary nursing student, I am confident handling animals safely and recognising signs of stress or illness. I am experienced in administering medication, following specialised diets and making sure pets receive the care and attention they need. I will always follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime and rest. About: I’ve had experience with a variety of dogs throughout childhood, but have raised labradors from puppies in my adult life. Whilst having the opportunity to be at home through the week, the biggest thing I can offer you is my time and dedication; I love all breeds and no requirement is too small. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. My two dogs Rosie and Marley are my world. Rosie is 10 westie and Marley is a 7 month old Lhasa apso cross poodle. Both dogs are extremely placid and love other dogs. I’ve had dogs of all breeds over the years - Irish setters, cocker spaniels, golden retrievers etc. I look forward for to welcoming your dog into my home. I am currently at home full time, therefore happy to accommodate your dogs schedule. My dogs usually get up at 7ish and have to their breakfast soon after. They usually go out for a good hours walks in the afternoon then have their dinner early evening. I have a fully secure, good sized garden for your pups to play in. I will be guided by you dependent on whether your dog comes off lead on walks etc. I will make sure your dog is safe and happy.

About: I'M BACK! After taking 6 months off to breed and train my next generation of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, I am happy to say that I am available again! I own two dogs, one cat and two horses, some of whom you can see on my profile! I would definitely say that I am an animal person haha! Over the years, I have learnt dog training skills such as how to remedy a dog who pulls on the lead or jumps up. I am experienced in administering medication for both dogs and cats and can even bathe them for you if needed! I am more than happy to do drop-ins for cats to feed and top up their water when needed if you don’t need me to stay over night! If you have any other small pets, I'm more than happy and experienced in looking after them for you whilst you're away (I grew up with mice, rabbits and Giant African Snails)! If you have horses, there is no need to put them into livery either, as I can look after them too when you go away! A bit about myself: I work from home which fits in great with dog sitting, as all I have to do is remember to bring my laptop with me! Don't worry, your pets will get plenty of exercise, socialisation and of course lots of love and care with me! Working from home means I am able to be around your pets all day, as long as I remember to bring my laptop with me! Our home has a fully secure terraced garden with 6ft+ old stone walls, so there is no escaping! We have many wonderful walks on our doorstep and our house location is quiet and safe. We take the dogs on secure, off-road country walks, and especially enjoy going for walks in the woods!

I always insist on a meet and greet before your dog comes to stay. This will reassure you, that our house is a safe, secure, clean and loving environment. I know how stressful it can be, to leave your pets with anyone, other than family. We will never take dogs out in the heat of the day, or when it is raining heavily and won't let them off lead, unless told that they can be trusted to not run away. We have a large secure garden with shaded areas to play in, and enjoy indoor playtime and enrichment activities, when we are unable to go out for a walk, due to adverse weather conditions. We allow all dogs the full run of the house.....but have a barrier at the bottom of the stairs, and at the entrance to the kitchen, where they can be contained, if we open the front door. We are getting electric gates fitted soon. Every aspect is covered to keep them safe, secure and happy, whilst they are in my care. We always send lots of updates and photos to reassure owners. I am licensed to board 5 dogs at a time, so your dog needs to be well socialised and toilet trained. All dogs are walked once/twice a day....weather and ability dependant. All dogs are let out into our large secured garden to play, or go to the toilet every hour or so. In the Summer months, the back door is left open, so they can come and go as they please. Their last toilet break is usually around midnight. Your fur baby will become part of our family whilst you are away. There are no favourites in this household, and no forbidden areas. Everyone is treated the same. If Polly goes for a walk, so does your dog. If Polly gets a treat, so does your dog. You can enjoy your time away, knowing that your fur baby will not just be taken care of….they will be loved. Please read my testimonials. Lynn is semi retired and works from home and Paul works nights, so is up and about from lunchtime onwards. There is always at least one of us at home. We have a large private and secure garden where dogs can run and play. Enrichment activities are part of the day and walkies are twice daily. We have a barrier that is placed at the bottom of the stairs and a barrier to contain any dogs whilst we answer the front door.

Being around animals from a young age has helped me develop a natural understanding of how to care for them, be patient with them, and make sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. I also live next to a beautiful bank and walking area, which is perfect for giving dogs plenty of exercise and outdoor stimulation. I regularly take my family’s dog there for walks and really enjoy spending time outdoors with him. The area provides a lovely environment for dogs to explore, get some exercise and enjoy their surroundings. Having both a secure garden and such a beautiful walking area nearby means I can provide dogs with regular toilet breaks, exercise and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
