“Taking a risk saying how great Tarryn is in case she gets so busy she can’t fit me in. Would 100% recommend. She’s absolutely lovely. My dog took to her immediately tho he loves most people, the clincher was that my cat who dislikes most people adores her. Tarryn is professional and reliable. We had an excellent meet and greet prior to booking. Tarryn took charge of my dog for the walk and I was amazed at how well he behaved for her(he’s a newly acquired rescue), she seems to have a great way with dogs. The start and end time of the walk is logged as we as the route and Tarryn sends photos. I swear my dog gets more excited on work days as he know’s he’ll get to see Tarryn. Not only is she great with my dog she’s really flexible. On every visit so far I have managed to completely mess her around with times and she’s nothing other than accommodating. I am also very comfortable giving Tarryn access to my home while I’m not there”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was five years of age, we have always had family pets ranging from cats, hamsters and dogs. I am experienced at looking after all types of animals but for the last 16 years in particular dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. I love to go on long walks with my canine friends and should you decide to entrust your fur baby with me, then they will have a home from home experience. Not only have I made many new canine friends along the way but I am also friends with many of the owners, having looked after their pets for many years or months. I am happy to bath your pet should that be required. My children are also huge animal lovers. Your pet will be in safe, kind and fun hands in your absence. I am currently working part time mainly from home so am very flexible to suit your needs. Weekdays and weekends are all possible to suit your individual needs. My home has a fenced garden and whatever your pet is accustomed to in terms of feeding, sleeping and exercise routines, I will follow. I have two cats who are accustomed to dogs and one in particular loves to curl up with them!

If you want to be at ease knowing your dog is safe and happy with someone while you are away, book with Valisia. Your pet will most definitely be looked after. Another home away from home.”
6. David G.
“I highly recommend Dave as a dog walker and pet sitter. I call him “the dog whisperer “ as he has such a calming persona which seems to transfer to the dog. For many years, Dave walked our much loved Labrador, Jack. Jack absolutely adored him and the feeling I know was mutual. Everyday Jack would wait excitedly for Dave to arrive and they would have a lovely time walking in the park or by the river. Jack could be at challenge at times but I was always confident that Dave would be able to manage his (as he called it) - handbags at dawn behaviour. Dave has a key to our home and has often let our x2 Labradors out as well as feeding them. He would always spend extra some time with them so they were happy and relaxed when he left. So, if you are looking for someone to look after your fur babies I would suggest you give him a call - you’ll be glad you did!”

About: As a dedicated pet lover, with a lifetime of experience, living alongside dogs and cats, I bring a deep understanding of the needs and behaviours to your fur baby. I’m currently in the process of obtaining my level 3 advanced pet first aid, and a dog walking/pet sitting qualification. In the future, I am hoping to undertake a veterinary nursing diploma. I have had 3 dogs and currently have 2 cats. One cat I’ve cared for had diabetes for the last 5 years of his life so I have experience with injecting insulin in cats. I am currently working part-time so i am very flexible to suit your needs. Available weekdays and weekends. Just pop me a message to inquire! I have decent sized completely fenced off garden. I only walk dogs off the lead if they have complete recall if not I can take to an enclosed field.

About: I’ve looked after my family and friend’s pets so often that they often ask me why I don’t do it all the time- so I thought I’d give it a shot! I’m never happier than when I’m surrounded by animals and I have a natural ability to care for them and train them. I ride my horse early morning and then walk my own dogs who are sociable and well behaved and love new faces ! I thought I have lots of some spare time on my hands so I’m giving this a go . I have a safe , secure nice sized garden and live in a village location with lots off on and off lead walking areas. I have a crate for those that need one and plenty of space so that pets feel at home and not overwhelmed.

15. Megan B.
“Megan has grown up in a household full of dogs, usually with one or two of our own plus whichever other dogs I am boarding at that time. All of regular dogs love Megan and are excited to see her whenever she is home. Megan has often been the sole carer for our own dogs and has frequently helped out with the dogs I board too. She has always ensured that they receive the love, attention, and exercise they need. Megan is a loving, responsible, and dedicated caregiver who is passionate about animals. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 7 years old, we have 5 dogs in my family which we’ve trained since they were puppies and still have until the grown age of 15! I can have pets in my apartment at university, and being able to look after someone’s dog for at least an hour would be an absolute dream. I can look after as many as 5 dogs at once at owners' houses, having the skills to train them as well as keep them occupied with fun and playtime! I’m currently working part time, with my hours allowed to be chosen by myself when I’m free or available, also having 3 hours of university a week leaves me with a lot of free time to play with and walk dogs! I’m allowed to have up to 3 pets at my apartment! I know how to take care of dogs, especially in times of need when they can show signs of distress, I know calming methods as well as how to take action in times of emergency!

“Tina looked after our Bailey overnight and there is no where else I’d rather he stayed when we need it. Tina cares for Bailey like he is her own and she sent me pictures throughout to keep us updated. Bailey looked like he had the best walks and he came home tired which is always a good sign! Have used Tina more than once now and would highly recommend.”
