With a publishing career built on precision and high attention to detail, I now bring that same level of care and reliability to every pet I look after. This isn’t just a job for me – it’s a passion and a long-held dream. I treat every pet and home as if they were my own, offering dependable, respectful, and above-and-beyond care. My goal is to create a genuine bond with your pet so they feel safe, loved, and relaxed even when you're away. My journey into pet care began just before lockdown in 2020, when I qualified my cat Rupert as a Pets as Therapy animal. I then started dog walking. I also bring a wealth of professional experience from my nine years as Deputy Editor of Your Cat magazine, where I worked closely with cat welfare charities, breeders, and behaviourists. I researched and wrote articles, directed photo shoots with adult cats and kittens, and developed a deep understanding of feline behaviour, health, and care – all of which I apply in my day-to-day pet care. I follow your instructions closely – from feeding schedules and medication to playtime preferences and sleeping arrangements – ensuring your pet receives consistent, personalised care. I bring the same attention to detail that has defined my professional career into every visit, whether it’s a short drop-in or an extended stay. I keep your home clean and secure, and I’m happy to help with extras like watering plants, bringing in post, or adjusting lights and curtains to give your home a lived-in feel while you're away. I also offer support with vet and grooming appointments, including transport and companionship if needed. My goal is to be a trusted companion for both you and your pet – someone who goes above and beyond to ensure peace of mind and genuine care.

Fantastic first experience with Angela! Communication was great from the very beginning - prompt, friendly, and reassuring. Loved getting photo updates of the walk, it really showed how much care she puts in. On the second day I happened to be home during collection, and my dog was SO happy to see Angela again, it was very sweet. She went above and beyond what I expected. Highly recommend and will absolutely be using her again.
Angela is a star, really made Percy feel safe and such a warm friendly person. Percy loved her!
Angie is EXCELLENT! From initial contact communication was great, we needed someone to walk our dog for initially 4 days then extended it 8 which she accommodated for us. The initial meet & greet went brilliant, our dog Iggi can be reticent with people she doesn’t know but immediately warmed to Angie. She excitedly greeted her when going on a walk and Angie always sent a little report with each walk and a couple of photos. Iggi came back from each walk sated and happy. We cannot praise Angie highly enough and will use her in future when we are in the area visiting family & friends
We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful person than Angela to look after our dogs. From the moment we met her, she was warm, kind, and genuinely caring, instantly putting us at ease. She went above and beyond by taking the time to understand both dogs’ needs, letting one out and staying to play fetch, while also giving the other a lovely walk. She always made sure they were happy, calm, and settled (with treats too!), and they were so excited to see her every time, which says it all. Coming home to two relaxed, content dogs was such a reassurance, and we’re incredibly grateful for her care! we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thank you again, Angela, you are amazing!
