“I picked up our Boston Terrier, Edie, today after an overnight stay with Simon, and it was another very positive experience. Once again, I found him to be highly responsible, professional, and kind. He was eager to learn about Edie's habits, likes, and dislikes, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I provided a list of her commands, routine, and little quirks, but I felt that even if I had forgotten something, he would easily handle whatever came up. Simon was also incredibly helpful when I accidentally left a couple of Edie's things behind, generously offering some of his own for her to use. When I collected Edie, she was bright and happy, and they had just been outside playing in the garden together. Additionally, his house and neighbourhood are very safe environments. I didn't worry about her getting into trouble inside because his home is so organised and tidy. The neighbourhood has plenty of green space for walks and feels like a close-knit community. I have already booked Edie in for another overnight stay with Simon. I expect it will go just as well, and I know Edie will be happy to see him again!”

Their last toilet break is usually around midnight. Your fur baby will become part of our family whilst you are away. There are no favourites in this household, and no forbidden areas. Everyone is treated the same. If Polly goes for a walk, so does your dog. If Polly gets a treat, so does your dog. You can enjoy your time away, knowing that your fur baby will not just be taken care of….they will be loved. Please read my testimonials. Lynn is semi retired and works from home and Paul works nights, so is up and about from lunchtime onwards. There is always at least one of us at home. We have a large private and secure garden where dogs can run and play. Enrichment activities are part of the day and walkies are twice daily. About: I’ve struggled myself to find the right home to look after my precious boys. I offer a home from home setting where your dog(s) will receive lots of cuddles and lots of playtime. We have two male cockapoos, one of which is of senior age. We have previously had Great Danes (gorgeous breed) and have grown up round a variety of breeds. We have two children age 10 and 13 who have grown up around animals and absolutely love dogs and if your dog wants to run around with smaller humans they’re all for it. I have a large enclosed garden perfect for your fur babies to run around in; they have full access to the garden as they desire as my back door is rarely closed. I have crates, should your pet need crating or you may of course provide your own. I adhere strictly to any special requirements you have regarding the care of your pet. I also have my own private walking field where all dogs are safe to run freely.

About: From a young age I have been asked to care for animals in families I’ve known, in the past couple of years I have developed that into housesitting, looking after animals from horses to dogs and I am happy to adapt to any task at hand. About: I'M BACK! After taking 6 months off to breed and train my next generation of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, I am happy to say that I am available again! I own two dogs, one cat and two horses, some of whom you can see on my profile! I would definitely say that I am an animal person haha! Over the years, I have learnt dog training skills such as how to remedy a dog who pulls on the lead or jumps up. I am experienced in administering medication for both dogs and cats and can even bathe them for you if needed! I am more than happy to do drop-ins for cats to feed and top up their water when needed if you don’t need me to stay over night! If you have any other small pets, I'm more than happy and experienced in looking after them for you whilst you're away (I grew up with mice, rabbits and Giant African Snails)! If you have horses, there is no need to put them into livery either, as I can look after them too when you go away! A bit about myself: I work from home which fits in great with dog sitting, as all I have to do is remember to bring my laptop with me! Don't worry, your pets will get plenty of exercise, socialisation and of course lots of love and care with me! Working from home means I am able to be around your pets all day, as long as I remember to bring my laptop with me! If needed, I can do a morning walk, a walk during my lunch break and an evening walk. For dogs that enjoy more exercise, I’m also happy to take them to paddocks so they can have a safe run around and burn off energy. On Fridays I work an evening shift at a pub, so I would only be available with your pet from around 5pm–6pm before leaving for work and returning around midnight. Because of this I usually avoid Friday bookings, but I’m happy to discuss it with owners if this schedule still suits their pet. On Saturdays I work at the pub from 12pm–6pm, so I’m available in the morning and again in the evening. I am fully available on Sundays. I currently offer pet care in the owner’s home rather than bringing pets to my own home. I find that many animals feel much more relaxed and comfortable staying in their familiar environment, where they have their usual routine, smells and surroundings. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, calm and well cared for while their owners are away. As a veterinary nursing student, I am confident handling animals safely and recognising signs of stress or illness. I am experienced in administering medication, following specialised diets and making sure pets receive the care and attention they need. I will always follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime and rest. I regularly take my family’s dog there for walks and really enjoy spending time outdoors with him. The area provides a lovely environment for dogs to explore, get some exercise and enjoy their surroundings. Having both a secure garden and such a beautiful walking area nearby means I can provide dogs with regular toilet breaks, exercise and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

“I picked up our Boston Terrier, Edie, today after an overnight stay with Simon, and it was another very positive experience. Once again, I found him to be highly responsible, professional, and kind. He was eager to learn about Edie's habits, likes, and dislikes, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I provided a list of her commands, routine, and little quirks, but I felt that even if I had forgotten something, he would easily handle whatever came up. Simon was also incredibly helpful when I accidentally left a couple of Edie's things behind, generously offering some of his own for her to use. When I collected Edie, she was bright and happy, and they had just been outside playing in the garden together. Additionally, his house and neighbourhood are very safe environments. I didn't worry about her getting into trouble inside because his home is so organised and tidy. The neighbourhood has plenty of green space for walks and feels like a close-knit community. I have already booked Edie in for another overnight stay with Simon. I expect it will go just as well, and I know Edie will be happy to see him again!”
