Fun an loving home with lots of countryside walks!
With a quiet rural setting and countryside walks from the door, including historic Foxton Locks country Park we aim to provide a fun holiday for your best friend while you are away. I have 45 years of experience with dogs and my favourite people have always been dogs! I currently have no pets of our own, so you can be assured that your dogs will get all of the love and attention that they need. I have a large secure garden and we are happy to provide photos of their stay and even arrange zoom calls if you'd like. I have experience with large and very large dogs and also more challenging breeds such as huskies and malamutes. Aside from dogs, I am an animal lover generally and spent many years running a wildlife rescue. I can't wait to meet your dog or dogs!

A big thank you to David and Sophie for making our holiday stress free in the knowledge that our dog was safe and being cared for so lovingly. It was just evident through pictures sent to us daily, that our dog Sonny was truely cared for 100%. David and Sophie are dedicated, caring dog sitters and understand dogs so well. Sonny loved his stay and hardly wanted to come home after a 9 night stay. I highly recommend David and Sophie and feel they are 5/5 top rated sitters!! X
Our first dog boarding with David. Ollie is our rescue spaniel and does have some separation anxiety. David and Sophie were great with him on our meet and greet. Ollie made himself at home for our week away and he had so many interesting experiences( eg, scarecrow festival, car boot sale, pubs) and lovely country walks! We had daily updates, photos and videos and it gave us a lot of reassurance that he was happy being on his own little holiday. He was so happy when we came to collect him and we could see a lovely bond had developed. I don’t think he wanted to leave!! Thank you so much for you excellent care and attention with Ollie. We definitely highly recommend and hope to return for our next holiday.:)
David and Sophie looked after our two whippets brilliantly whilst we went on holiday to France. They were treated to lots of care and attention and lots of long walks in the surrounding countryside. We had lots of pictures and videos to keep us updated on what the dogs were up to which was lovely. All in all, our dogs had a fantastic home from home. We would definitely use David and Sophie again.
Thanks for looking after Arnold so well and giving him 5star treatment. He had a lovely stay, made himself properly at home, so that’s the greatest compliment to you both. He was relaxed and happy in your home and with you. Thank you for all the pictures of your weekend together, really put my mind at rest and thank you for Arnold’s toys which he loves and is still carrying around!
I can’t recommend David and Sophie highly enough. They are genuine dog lovers and I could see that my dog Soph was comfortable straight away when we went for our pre- meet up. They live in a great location on the edge of a lovely quiet village with endless walks which was perfect for Soph as she is not good with other dogs. I will definitely be using them again.

Schedule
Taking care of your best friends is my job so I am always at home to give as much attention as they need. I will adapt to your dog's routine and provide any special requirements.
