About: I am an avid dog lover and have owned dogs of my own for 40+ years. With my own playful chocolate Labrador Rolo, I look forward to welcoming your pet into our home. Your pet is my priority and I will treat him/her as part of my family. Walkies, cuddles, reassurance and providing a safe, happy environment is my goal to make you feel happy, stress and worry free whether you are at work, taking a break or having a well deserved holiday! I am pet first aid trained and accredited and have transport available to be able to pick-up and drop-off your beloved dog if required to allow you to make the most of your time away. I have just finished caring for my youngest grandchild and am now ready to help hard working people who love their dogs care for them whilst at work or on holidays in my home. I will send photographs whilst you are away (if required) for your peace of mind knowing that your fur baby is looked after and happy in a home from home whilst you are enjoying time away. With a secure back garden and a large grassed area only feet away from me (for those dogs allowed off lead) to play or chase a ball I have a safe space to play and stimulate your beloved pet.

“Having a business function 5 hours from home and needing to find suitable care for our needy French Bulldog was potentially stressful. So glad we found Cathryn and her wonderfully calming approach. She (and her husband) were super accommodating, communicative, helpful, reassuring. Instantly connecting with Merlin when we dropped him off, and sending photos and messages throughout the evening to reassure. About: I’ve always been an animal person and have had all sorts of pets over the years, including Chow Chows, Labradors, Staffies, Huskies and cats, so I’m used to different personalities and energy levels. I owned a little Pug/ Shih Tzu in the past named Gerty and she was the funniest little character, I ended up moving to Australia after Gerty for the past 7 years. About: as someone who works from home, I am very blessed I get to spend as much time as I can with my baby - toy poodle Quincy. from walks to enrichment, playing games and training, our days are always filled with fun, love and care. we would love to help you look after your babies, whether it’s simply by taking them on a walk during the day, to keeping them company in our home. our only request is that your dog is friendly to other dogs, as Quincy is very small, and house trained. I work from home full time so I have a lot of time to give my attention to your fur baby. As I already look after Quincy, your pups will fit into our already existing schedule perfectly. We have a fenced garden, a big open lounge area with low couches. We have no sharp objects, no scented products that can be easily reached.
About: I’ve always had a love for dogs even since I was young. At 15, I finally got my own dog which I trained and took care of by myself. I love dogs company and taking care of them. During my undergraduate degree, I decided to join Rover as a way to help earn whilst being student, but also as a way to spend time with dogs as I missed my own dog, Harley, so much. I have done home-stays with puppies and post-surgery dogs to keep them company, whilst their owners are out. Boarding can be accepted but will need to be comfortable staying with my 10 year old, friendly cockapoo, Harley. I have recently started at the University of Hull as MSc Physician Associate Student and have decided to come back to rover and with my spare time, I would love to fit dog walking and sitting around my university schedule! I have a flexible schedule so I can easily fit let care into my daily routine. However, university is my priority, please contact me about any dates and I can let you know if I can work the care you need around my timetable! I would come to visit pets in your home either just for a few hours to keep them company or for longer stays if you are going away! In particular I have lots of experience with dogs and have worked at a puppy/dog behaviour training centre for 2 years. I have lots of flexibility in the times I am free and able to care for your pets, so feel free to message me about availability. I will make sure that your pet is able to follow its normal routine and I will provide lots of attention/enrichment to keep them busy and happy. As the owner of anxious dogs myself, I understand the importance of reading behaviour and making sure that pets are comfortable and happy. I am confident in basic animal first aid training from my time at university and will ensure your pet is looked after just as you would treat it yourself (with lots of love and cuddles!!).

About: During lockdown, I walked my neighbour's dog, a massive Bernese mountain dog, a few times per week. It was the best part of my week and I really enjoyed it. I then worked at an animal sanctuary for months, home to seven dogs ranging from Spanish mastiff to Australian shepherd. I walked these dogs weekly for about 5 months. Since I left home to study at university, I have missed that companionship and would like to spend my free time with four-legged friends! I study veterinary medicine and have the opportunity to arrange some parts of my schedule according to my availability. This means I can be somewhat flexible around my working hours to accommodate your pet's needs. I can take your dog on various walks around the neighbourhood. About: I’ve always been an animal person and have had all sorts of pets over the years, including Chow Chows, Labradors, Staffies, Huskies and cats, so I’m used to different personalities and energy levels.
