It’s always worrying when using someone new but Samantha and her husband was so friendly and asked lots of questions about Freddie which was reassuring that they were making sure they knew things about Freddie to make his stay perfect. The updates were also very much appreciated. The resident dog, Eddie was perfect for Freddie and gave him space. Hopefully Freddie will become a regular visitor as will not hesitate to use Samatha again.”

About: I am an avid dog lover and have owned dogs of my own for 40+ years. With my own playful chocolate Labrador Rolo, I look forward to welcoming your pet into our home. Your pet is my priority and I will treat him/her as part of my family. Walkies, cuddles, reassurance and providing a safe, happy environment is my goal to make you feel happy, stress and worry free whether you are at work, taking a break or having a well deserved holiday! I am pet first aid trained and accredited and have transport available to be able to pick-up and drop-off your beloved dog if required to allow you to make the most of your time away. I have just finished caring for my youngest grandchild and am now ready to help hard working people who love their dogs care for them whilst at work or on holidays in my home. I will send photographs whilst you are away (if required) for your peace of mind knowing that your fur baby is looked after and happy in a home from home whilst you are enjoying time away. With a secure back garden and a large grassed area only feet away from me (for those dogs allowed off lead) to play or chase a ball I have a safe space to play and stimulate your beloved pet.
“I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Katy & Reece to have Woody & Lettie again. Loads of updates & photos throughout their stay. & on pick up my furries had clearly had a good time. Thank you 👍🏽”

“I could not recommend Dina and her little dog Daisy enough ☺️ We did a meet and greet prior to my holiday just to make sure the dogs would get on ok. I knew there would be no issues and was more than happy for my dog to be looked after by Dina. Dina kept me updated with photos throughout the week and I could tell my dog was having a lovely time and was very happy with her surroundings. My dog is 15 so can have days where she’s a little more tired than others but everything was accommodated. A perfect little holiday for my pooch ☺️ 🐾”

“Mickey had a great stay as always. He loves Paula so much and was quite happy to stay longer if he could. Paula is a lovely caring lady, we know our boy is always well looked after.”

“Having a business function 5 hours from home and needing to find suitable care for our needy French Bulldog was potentially stressful. So glad we found Cathryn and her wonderfully calming approach. She (and her husband) were super accommodating, communicative, helpful, reassuring. Instantly connecting with Merlin when we dropped him off, and sending photos and messages throughout the evening to reassure. When we are in Staffs again and need repeat care, we will be 100% returning to Cathryn. Highly recommended!!”

“Hio man took such good care of our dogs! We had regular updates and they were so relaxed and happy after their stay. We will definitely use Hio man again and would recommend friends and family! Thank you so much ❤️”

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a very happy, easy going girl. I owned a little Pug/ Shih Tzu in the past named Gerty and she was the funniest little character, I ended up moving to Australia after Gerty for the past 7 years. In this time I have done plenty of house sits in Australia and now the UK since I got back a few months ago. I have great experience in looking after all kinds of animals but mainly cats and dogs. I have my pet sitting qualification and I am currently also doing cpr training. I chose to be a pet sitter/walker as it doesn't feel like a job to me. What a wonderful life to be surrounded by creatures that bring us so much joy and comfort and to be able to bring just as much joy and comfort back to them. Previously I was a live in carer for years before becoming a sitter, I treat everyone's homes and pets as I would my own, with love and respect. DVS checked and pet sitter qualified ✅ I have been doing pet sitting in Australia and now I am back living in the UK where I have my own pet care business. So because I am just starting out again here I have plenty of room to book pets, as I am available on all days. I am happy to do day visits, walking, feeding, overnights etc…I have my qualifications and just doing my first aid for pets. I will happily keep your pet company, walk them, feed them, bath them, keep them happy and entertained. I clean out cages, litter trays etc… anything you need me to do for your pets and house I am happy to do. I treat your pets and house as I would my own, with love and respect.
“Tessa was wonderful with Toffee, she took the time for meet and greet and Toff loved her. She had a great time roaming around the house and playing in the garden with Tessa’s poodles. We had a nice holiday because we knew Toff was in good hands, we received photos and updates daily and saw how happy she was on walks and at home. I was searching for someone to allow doggies around the house and on sofa, not to put them in crates and found Tessa to be the perfect host for our little doggie. Definitely will ask her again to petsit for us. Thanks again for everything dear xx”

“Massive thanks to Lauren for taking such good care of our older cat Bluebell whilst we were away 🥰 We received lots of updates and could tell that Bluebell was relaxed and very well looked after, getting plenty of cuddles. Our house was left very clean and tidy. Will definitely be contacting Lauren again for house sitting, and will be highly recommending her to anyone needing pet care.”

“Melissa and Sam looked after my cat for a couple of days in November this year, it was my first time using this type of service and I couldn’t have been happier with them. They came over to meet me and the nervous cat before I went away and I could immediately tell that they were animal lovers. They asked lots of questions to make sure that they got all the information they needed about how to look after her and what she is like. Whilst away, I had daily updates and they even washed up her cat bowls. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone else.”

“We were very happy to have Ana look after our two cats for our week away. She was very friendly and obviously caring about the cats, giving us regular updates and pictures. We felt we could trust her completely in our home, and were confident that she would not only look after the cats well, but also enjoy their company! We'd be happy to call on her again. :)”

“Alice was a fantastic cat sitter, extremely reliable & so friendly. We had daily updates of how our cat was & she tended to his every need. Our cat was relaxed and happy when we got home. Thank you Alice! ”

“We booked Maisie to drop in on our cat for a long weekend while we were away. She went above and beyond making sure that he was well looked after and cared for. We got regular updates with how he was and plenty of photos! She is super friendly and replied quickly to any queries we had at the time. Would 100% recommend and book again! Thank you 😊”

“It’s clear that Jane loves cats! Her communication was brilliant from the start, she really put us at ease. She is a great fit for our cat Bluebell, and sent lots of photos and updates, and we could see that Bluebell was relaxed and happy, which was wonderful. She arrived & left at the agreed times, and the house was left immaculate. Bluebell is looking forward to us going away again, so she can get more fuss from Jane 😂❤️ Thanks again for taking such good care of our fluffy girl!”

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have had all sorts of pets over the years, including Chow Chows, Labradors, Staffies, Huskies and cats, so I’m used to different personalities and energy levels. I’ve raised my own pets from puppies and kittens, and I’ve also adopted and rescued animals, which has taught me a lot about patience, care and really getting to know each animal as an individual. I’m genuinely caring and will always treat your pet like they’re my own. I’m not working at the moment, so I’ve got plenty of time and flexibility for walks, boarding or house sitting, and I won’t be rushing in and out. I’ve got experience with walking, boarding and looking after pets in their own homes, and I just want them to feel comfortable, safe and happy while they’re with me. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility throughout the week to dedicate to caring for pets. We often look after our neighbors’ pets and regularly take our own dog out for walks, which made me realize how much I enjoy spending time with animals and helping others with their care. I’m available every day except Saturdays and can offer a range of services including boarding, drop-in visits, walks, or anything else needed to make sure your furry friends are happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s a quick check-in or longer stays, I’m here to help and treat your pets as if they were my own. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always follow any instructions provided closely to ensure each pet’s routine, diet, and preferences are maintained. I understand that pets are cherished family members, so I treat them with the same level of care, attention, and respect. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether they require lots of play and stimulation, a calm and quiet environment, or something in between. I adapt my approach to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy at all times. I’m also flexible with timings and can work around busy schedules to provide reliable and convenient care. In my home, I can accommodate other pets either alongside my own husky—who is very relaxed and friendly with dogs, cats, and children—or separately if preferred. I have additional rooms and a secure garden, allowing me to tailor my services to suit different animals, temperaments, and situations.
“Storm has had a great time with Rafal and Maggie, who kept me updated, including photos, throughout the day, and even threw in a couple of lead walking training sessions! Storm has come home very happy, we will definitely be asking Rafal and Maggie and their daughter to look after Storm again, can’t thank them enough, and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks, Rafal and family, much appreciated 😀”

We have 3 lovely dogs and now I'm only part time ( just 2 hours in the morning from 6-8am) I have plenty of time to take care of your pet. We treat all pets as if they are our own, and include them into any activity we undertake. Our garden is fully enclosed and the safety of your pet is our promise to you.
“We are so glad to find lovely Hannah. Before Harper’s stay, arranged meet and greet. She has kept updated us and look after our furry girl really well. Definitely will keep in contact with her in future! Thank you !”

“Naomi was quick to respond to what was a last minute request. We managed a lovely meet and greet which put me at total ease to leave Dougie with her. I know Dougie loved his day as he was a tired boy when he got home. The photos during the day made me smile ands also relax knowing he was having a great time. I will definitely be using Naomi again and can totally recommend.”

About: I’ve always had a love for dogs even since I was young. At 15, I finally got my own dog which I trained and took care of by myself. I love dogs company and taking care of them. During my undergraduate degree, I decided to join Rover as a way to help earn whilst being student, but also as a way to spend time with dogs as I missed my own dog, Harley, so much. I have done home-stays with puppies and post-surgery dogs to keep them company, whilst their owners are out. I also have been trusted by owners to pop in for daily walks whilst owners are at work to give some fresh air and company to your loved ones. As my dog at home is my pride and joy, I really understand what great pet care means to us dog lovers and that’s why I’m so keen to look after your dogs! Boarding can be accepted but will need to be comfortable staying with my 10 year old, friendly cockapoo, Harley. We have a small garden but located right next to fields for regular exercise and walks! I have recently started at the University of Hull as MSc Physician Associate Student and have decided to come back to rover and with my spare time, I would love to fit dog walking and sitting around my university schedule! I have a flexible schedule so I can easily fit let care into my daily routine. However, university is my priority, please contact me about any dates and I can let you know if I can work the care you need around my timetable! I would come to visit pets in your home either just for a few hours to keep them company or for longer stays if you are going away! I’m also available for regular dog walking to fit both our schedules. I am a reliable and hard-working person with a passion for dogs and love their company, so unlikely to let you down! However, as I am a student and live in student accommodation, I am unable to have dogs board at my own home, so for longer stays, it would be essential I come to you, otherwise, I would not be suitable as your choice of sitter.
“I was really happy to have Alicia look after our 7 month old puppy. She found out all about her in advance and really put me at ease. Luna came home happy and relaxed after a day of fun. We will definitely book Alicia again in the future.”

“Flynn had a fantastic time with Joy and her family in their lovely home. It was great to receive pictures and updates of his day. He had a lovely time. Joy and her husband are very attentive and ensure they cover everything regarding your pets needs. I'd fully recommend to anyone.”

“How pleased I was to leave Wilson for a few hours with Jade prior to a four day booking in April.Wilson was relaxed in her company and it became clear that Jade is a dog lover and understood how much Wilson means to me. I have no fears that Wilson will enjoy his longer stay in the near future so will be more than happy to use Jade when the occasion arises.”

“Nigel is great with Toby and has helped his confidence with other dogs! He’s been great with our flexible time table and busy life. He’s brought us confidence that we can leave our baby there for a day and not have to worry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Elizabeth and her lovely family looked after biscuit with great care and gave her heaps of attention, they treated her like their own dog and biscuit loved being around the two girls. I was updated with photos and little stories of what they got up to whilst I was away for work and they made us smile as she clearly looked entertained, was having zoomies and playing with the children and getting lots of cuddles and attention. It made us quite jealous :) My husband found the location easy for work to drop her off on the way and made life easier for him knowing she was cared for extremely well. We will be using Elizabeth and her family again! Thank you for what you did for Biscuit, she came home tired and slept all afternoon and hardly moved :)”

“Absolutely brilliant! No worries at all first time leaving our new dog we’ve only had 14 weeks. Feel confident to leave Reg now with Samantha and her lovely husband for our four night trip in May.”

About: I have experience looking after a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. My responsibilities included feeding them on schedule, making sure they always had fresh water, cleaning their living areas, and ensuring they were comfortable and safe. I regularly walked dogs, played with them to keep them active, and paid close attention to their behaviour to make sure they were healthy and happy. I also helped with basic grooming such as brushing fur, cleaning food bowls, and keeping pets clean and well cared for. Through this experience, I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding each animal’s different needs and personality. I enjoyed building trust with the pets and making sure they felt loved and cared for while their owners were away. Looking after pets has taught me how important routine, attention, and kindness are in keeping animals healthy and happy. I’m currently working full time Monday to Thursday 6-2 and Friday until 12.45. I have my morning break half 9 to 10.15 and my lunchtime break half 12 to half 1 so I can nip and let your pet out for a toilet break. Im free at the weekends to look after your pets I have a fenced garden big enough for your pet to roam and play and I have a jack Russel that will keep your pet company or if you’d prefer your pet not to interact with my dog I can make arrangements for my dog to be somewhere else on the days I am looking after your pet

He came back happy and healthy and we couldn't be more grateful for the care and love he received while we were away.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Leaving our rescue dog, George, for a whole week was a big step, especially as we’d only had him for four and a half months. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in the best hands. Melissa took such wonderful care of George and kept us updated every single day with lots of photos and videos, which really reassured us that he was happy, settled and having a great time. It made such a difference while we were away. We came home to a relaxed, happy dog, and it’s clear he was treated with so much love and care.
