Our dogs welcome every foster dog we have had and easily adapt. i am from a medical and caring background so you can be sure your loving dog is in safe hands. We have 3 lovely dogs and now I'm only part time ( just 2 hours in the morning from 6-8am) I have plenty of time to take care of your pet. We treat all pets as if they are our own, and include them into any activity we undertake. Our garden is fully enclosed and the safety of your pet is our promise to you.

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something that comes very naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, ages, temperaments and needs, including through fostering for local charities. Growing up I have always had family pets - both cats and dogs and until a couple of years ago, had our own lovely dog, Bella. All this has given me valuable experience with everything from playful, energetic pups to more nervous dogs who need extra patience, reassurance and a gentle approach. I understand how important it is to feel completely confident when leaving your dog in someone else’s care… My aim is to provide a calm, loving and reliable home where your dog will be treated like one of the family, with plenty of comfort, affection, playtime, countryside walks and one-to-one attention. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to understand their usual routine, personality, likes, dislikes and any special requirements. Whether your dog loves cuddles on the sofa, quiet companionship, enrichment games or long walks, I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, settled and truly at home. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us. I’m so excited to welcome your pup into our family home. My priority is always to make sure both dogs and owners feel happy, reassured and well cared for from the moment they arrive until the moment they go home. I work from home in Swadlincote, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I’m around throughout the day to give dogs plenty of company, attention and reassurance. Dogs staying with us will be part of our normal family home life, with time for walks, garden breaks, play, rest and cuddles. Whilst I will always remain the sole carer looking after your pets while they stay with us, my husband is a Head of Year at a local secondary school, so during school holidays - often peak boarding times - there is even more time, attention and hands-on help at home. Our two children, who are very ‘pet savvy’ through the experience of us fostering pets for several local charities over the years, also enjoy being part of our gentle, dog-loving family environment. I aim to offer two walks a day of between 20 & 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s usual routine, age, energy levels and preferences. We also love visiting secure dog fields for safe, enriching walks and playtime. Meals times will follow your home routine and requests. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us I offer a safe, calm and loving home-from-home environment with no pets of my own. For this year, I’ll only be boarding one dog, or one household of dogs, at a time, so your dog will receive dedicated one-to-one care and personalised attention throughout their stay. Dogs will always be supervised when using our fully secure, fenced garden, and I will follow your guidance closely around feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, routines, training cues and any special requirements. I understand how important it is to feel reassured when leaving your dog, so I’ll do everything I can to help them feel safe, settled and loved. Your dog will be welcomed into our family home and cared for with patience, kindness and consistency, just as I would want for my own, and you will be provided with regular photo and video updates throughout their stay with us.

About: I have experience caring for dogs both in my own home and in their owners’ homes. While on a gap year in Melbourne, Australia, I looked after dogs in my home while their owners were away, ensuring they felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for. More recently, I regularly care for a Cockapoo in the owner’s home while they are away, maintaining their usual routine and providing plenty of attention, walks, and companionship. I also have a lovely 10-year-old Sproodle at my family home, who I have helped care for since she was a puppy. She has given me valuable experience with the day-to-day responsibilities of owning a dog, from walks and playtime to feeding and providing lots of affection. She is very friendly and gets on well with dogs of a similar size. I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors and love going for walks, so taking dogs out for exercise is something I look forward to rather than seeing as a chore. I also have had cats ever since I was born so I am used to caring for them, including feeding, litter care, and providing affection. Further experience comes from my job. I work in home care, where tasks regularly involve caring for our customers’ pets, particularly cats and dogs. I am a Nursing student, however I am on break until October so work part time in home care. My hours are flexible so I can fit in visits around pet care, depending on how long they can be left alone and how much attention they require. I always aim to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by keeping to their usual routine. Before any booking, I like to learn about their feeding schedule, walking routine, favourite toys, any medications, and anything else that helps them feel at home. In my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where dogs receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and cuddles. I never leave dogs alone for long periods and make sure they have fresh water, regular toilet breaks, and lots of company throughout the day. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I follow all instructions carefully, keep the home tidy, and make sure pets receive the same level of care and attention they’re used to. I know how important it is for owners to feel reassured while they’re away, so I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is getting on.

About: Having had dogs throwing life and having had my own for the past 10years and been a regular sitter for those of friends and family too I love the joy that a dog can bring to you home and your life overall. I really enjoy the time out and the mindfulness of walking a dog and in the comfort and care you get from them in return when chilling at home afterwards. Although full time employed I routinely work from home and a can adapt my day to suit the potential needs of any booking. I can work remotely while dog sitting in your home or arrange to walk your dog as part of my days routine. I would consider being your dog into my own home if they are sociable and gel with my own cocker poo Martha. I am caring and considerate and would respect your home as my own if caring for you dog in your own home. I would follow all instructions given. If bring them to my home I have a securely fenced garden should the care be in my own home. I also know of many wonderful walks int he area that are safe and dog friendly.

About: I have owned a dog all my adult life and come from a family of dog lovers, we have all different breeds and sizes which as a family we all care for together, we often meet up and socialise them together. Having had dogs myself I have cared for them from puppy to their final years. I have 2 Frenchies and a cat of my own, after recently being made redundant I decided to work for myself dog walking as I love Dogs, walking, and understand the stress this takes on working dog parents. I offer a free meet up for all new dogs and complete a questionnaire to understand your pets specific needs. I offer a variety of walking services all listed on my website.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I was raised with 5 dogs at home, from puppies to elderly I enjoyed training, feeding and playing with them. As a teenager I’d help my friends by going to their houses to take care of their dogs and cats and take them for walks. I’m a volunteer in a woodland forest rescuing animals and creating new habitats for them, which improves my understanding of their behaviours and needs. I don’t do boarding for pets from different households at the same time so they can feel more comfortable while away from home. If your pet has any allergies, special needs, medications or a specific routine please let me know during the booking. I’m currently back home during summer break from university so if there isn’t any plans I’m free the whole week 24/7. I got a flexible schedule to be able to adjust for shifts needed I’ve got a house with a closed and fenced garden with play and have a good time. I don’t have any pets at home but I’m free the whole time to stay with your pet.

About: Worked on an animal farm, in a doggy daycare and at a small pet rescue. I’ve had my own pets throughout my life including many dogs, cats, reptiles and small animals. We could see form the daily video and message "pupdates" what a fabulous time Willow was having❤️. I have 2 relevant animal degrees including animal welfare, clinical animal behaviour and training I have plenty of time for walkies (and treats), mostly in the evenings. Working throughout the day but can regularly visit home as I live on site at my work. I have a private apartment near to work, attached to enclosed fields in which the animal can enjoy. The apartment is cool and quite year round.
