About: I have cared for dogs from a young age, with most of my experience being with Labradors and Weimaraners. I have regularly looked after dogs belonging to family and friends, including feeding, walking, playing with them and providing companionship. I have also gained experience dog sitting in Cardiff, caring for dogs in their own homes and making sure they are happy, comfortable and well looked after. I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your dog. I’m available on weekdays after 3pm, as well as throughout weekends, and can provide plenty of walks, companionship, attention and exercise. I take pet safety seriously and would make sure the dog is always secure and comfortable in their home. I would check that gates and fences are securely closed before letting them outside, keep doors and windows closed where necessary, and make sure they cannot escape or access unsafe areas. I would follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep food and household items that could be harmful out of reach, and supervise the dog when they are outside or on walks. I would also make sure they have access to fresh water and a safe, comfortable space to rest.

About: Welcome to The Home and The Hound - luxury, home-from-home dog boarding in a warm family environment. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something that comes very naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained a lifetime worth of hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, ages, temperaments and needs, including through fostering for local charities as well as boarding. Growing up I have always had family pets - both cats and dogs and until a couple of years ago, had our own lovely dog, Bella. All this has given me valuable experience with everything from playful, energetic pups to more nervous dogs who need extra patience, reassurance and a gentle approach. I understand how important it is to feel completely confident when leaving your dog in someone else’s care… My aim is to provide a calm, loving and reliable home where your dog will be treated like one of the family, with plenty of comfort, affection, playtime, countryside walks and one-to-one attention. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to understand their usual routine, personality, likes, dislikes and any special requirements, and replicate these as much as possible le throughout their stay. Whether your dog loves cuddles on the sofa, quiet companionship, enrichment games or long walks, I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, settled and truly at home. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us. I have many customers who are willing to provide direct, independent and glowing references. I’m so excited to welcome your pup into our family home. My priority is always to make sure both dogs and owners feel happy, reassured and well cared for from the moment they arrive until the moment they go home. I work from home in Swadlincote, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I’m around throughout the day to give dogs plenty of company, attention and reassurance. Dogs staying with us will be part of our normal family home life, with time for walks, garden breaks, play, rest and cuddles. Whilst I will always remain the sole carer looking after your pets while they stay with us, my husband is a Head of Year at a local secondary school, so during school holidays - often peak boarding times - there is even more time, attention and hands-on help at home. Our two children, who are very ‘pet savvy’ through the experience of us fostering pets for several local charities over the years, also enjoy being part of our gentle, dog-loving family environment. I aim to offer two walks a day of between 20 & 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s usual routine, age, energy levels and preferences. We also love visiting secure dog fields for safe, enriching walks and playtime. Meals times will follow your home routine and requests. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us I offer a safe, calm and loving home-from-home environment with no pets of my own. For this year, I’ll only be boarding one dog, or one household of dogs, at a time, so your dog will receive dedicated one-to-one care and personalised attention throughout their stay. Dogs will always be supervised when using our fully secure, fenced garden, and I will follow your guidance closely around feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, routines, training cues and any special requirements. I understand how important it is to feel reassured when leaving your dog, so I’ll do everything I can to help them feel safe, settled and loved. Your dog will be welcomed into our family home and cared for with patience, kindness and consistency, just as I would want for my own, and you will be provided with regular photo and video updates throughout their stay with us.

About: Growing up back home I was always surrounded and looking after dogs including small dogs (Jack Russel) to larger dogs (Boxers). I genuinely love dogs and enjoy being surrounded by them, ensuring they are happy and going for walks. I’m currently working full time and therefore if I’m require to be onsite/ office, I will only be available in the late afternoon. However if I am working from home, then I have very flexible time and will be available to check up and go for walks on a more regular basis. On Friday and Saturday I am very flexible and am able to fit into the pet care request as required. I will ensure that when going on walks, the dog(s) will be looked after and appropriately cared for at the owners home. I won’t be able to facilitate the dog care at my own home unfortunately.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teen and have over 10 years looking after dogs with mine currently 10 and 11 respectively and used to larger dogs. I'm currently out of work and have lots of time to spend with your dogs whether you need them walking or looking after directly. I can walk your dogs daily or multiple times a day if needed or pet sit directly at your residence if needed. I have a fenced garden and the living room space is used as a space for my dogs with walks in the morning for them or as needed.

About: I have owned and cared for a variety of animals since I was a child, including a range of dog breeds from small to large as well as volunteering at a livery yard through my teenage years. I have experience working for a reputable boarding kennels, completed dog first aid and currently working on my level 2 in Canine Care and Welfare I am currently pursuing a career in pet sitting, so will have a lot of availability. Each day/ week is currently different for me therefore I can easily adapt to clients requirements I will only be offering pet sitting services at the owners home, therefore I only need to make sure that the animal feels safe and comfortable with myself. Using my years of experience and knowledge with the owners advice of their animal I will tailor my approach to each situation appropriately.

About: I have studied animal care and agriculture at college, I then went on to completing my level 2 dog grooming apprenticeship where I handled all different types of breeds and their different personalities. I have also volunteered at different animal care establishments along the way. I do pet sitting/walking for a few different breeds currently. Im currently working part time so I’ll have flexibility to care for, play with and make time with your dogs around my working hours. When looking after a pet in the owners home I will meet all the owners wishes for their pets and give them all the attention they need! Making sure they’re safe and well looked after.

About: I’ve been caring for animals all my life as I grew up with dogs, cats and ponies. I began my working life in the 1980’s as a veterinary nurse for a few years and then a dairy hand, raising calves in Israel for several years. On my return to England I began free lance yard work at various livery stables and house sitter for large and small animals. I do have a part time job, 4hrs in the afternoons on week days and 6-10 on a Saturday, but still have time for walks and play, depending on the needs of the animals I’m caring for. I have a friendly miniature bull terrier for company. We go on lots of walks and as I have a car, we travel to some lovely woods and country walks. I’ve been house sitting for a few years now so am pretty adept at finding new walks in new areas and navigating a variety of kitchens ( almost more tricky than going out for a walk! ). House sitting allows me to keep the animals of the household in their routine, care for all the pets there and keep an eye on the property itself.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. I walk with my dogs twice a day at least . I love to spend a lot of time with any kind of dogs whatever they are small, medium or large size: I used to had 4 dogs at some point of time. Dogs are our wonderful friends and family members. I always keeping taking care the pet in my daily life . I’m spending a lot of time with fur baby except feeding time and walking time . I have a backyard for your lovely boy/girl for playing with my lovely big boy. All dogs are allowed to sit on the sofa and enjoy a movie time if they are interested. Basically the short walk schedule will be at lunch time between 11-2pm or dinner time between 6-8 pm for 20-30 min and there is long walk and playtime for an hour in playground everyday if not a rainy day. My schedule is always open to you. I am available all the all if no booking. Please let me know if you need me. :) We are always welcome your pets can sit/sleep on furniture and my bed if they are love to do that. We will give extra treats if they love to eat and no allergies.

About: I have had dogs for most of my like, i cared for my own for 16.5 years. She was my baby, ive looked after all different breeds. Some who have allergies so need medicine, ear issues, and even washing them I work from home most of the week so i can do daytime if local, evenings are free depending on times, fri evening / saturday evenings can be busy but i am sure we can work around it I will adjust to the homes the pets are in. If gates are there and need to be locked i will keep them locked, if there is a certain entrance to use entering or leaving the house i will follow that too

My home is a calm, safe space—no other pets or children—so your companion gets relaxed, one-on-one attention. Because I travel a lot and live on my own, I can’t have my own pets at the moment. That means I can give 100% of my time and attention to yours, treating them like family. By the way, I’m a qualified vet—so your furry (or scaly!) friends are in safe, caring hands. I work four days per week from 9 am to 6:00 pm, with weekends off. During working days, I am available for morning and evening care, and I can also use my break to check on or walk your dog if needed. On weekends, I have full availability and can stay with your pet, providing more consistent care, companionship, and attention. I don’t have pets of my own, so your pet will feel right at home with me and get all my attention and affection. They’re more than welcome on the sofa and bed, and I’m happy for them to sleep with me if that’s what they’re used to. I don’t have a garden, but there’s a park right in front of my home where I can take them for regular walks and fresh air. My home is very safe for cats, with no open windows and secure balconies. I always try to create a calm, cosy environment where pets can relax, feel safe, and be treated like part of the family.

About: Zookeeper working with great apes with a passion for the outdoors and pets! I have 2 relevant animal degrees including animal welfare, clinical animal behaviour and training I have plenty of time for walkies (and treats), mostly in the evenings. Working throughout the day but can regularly visit home as I live on site at my work. I have a private apartment near to work, attached to enclosed fields in which the animal can enjoy. The apartment is cool and quite year round.
