About: I've grown up with cats, dogs and other pets - I truly love all animals and will take the best care of your fur-baby. I have worked with rescue, feral and shelter pets before, and I have taken part in dog agility classes and basic dog training. I am happy to wash/bathe/groom your pooch if required, same goes for cats. I work from home during week days, so I will be on-hand for your pets care, needs and attentions day and night! My work is flexible, so I can start and stop as needed, meaning I can provide them with their required attention - whether that's playing, fussing, or giving them space to chillax and snooze. I have a fenced garden, a small secure catio for cats and live with my friendly house cat Binx who is my fur baby; he loves to play, but if your pet isn't keen on playing then Binx picks-up the cues and will take himself somewhere out of the way. I understand separation can be hard on your fur baby, so I will try and make them feel as safe, loved and tended to as possible. I am used to being woken in the night by Binx, who sometimes panics and starts meowing for me - so I understand there may be some reassuring and extra attention required.

David and his family sent me picture and video updates every day letting me know what they had been up to, and for me to see how happy and settled Callie looked. Callie’s experience there went that well I began thinking she won’t want to leave! It’s always worrying when using someone new but Samantha and her husband was so friendly and asked lots of questions about Freddie which was reassuring that they were making sure they knew things about Freddie to make his stay perfect. “I could not recommend Dina and her little dog Daisy enough ☺️ We did a meet and greet prior to my holiday just to make sure the dogs would get on ok. I knew there would be no issues and was more than happy for my dog to be looked after by Dina. Dina kept me updated with photos throughout the week and I could tell my dog was having a lovely time and was very happy with her surroundings. My dog is 15 so can have days where she’s a little more tired than others but everything was accommodated. A perfect little holiday for my pooch ☺️ 🐾”

Growing up I have always had family pets - both cats and dogs and until a couple of years ago, had our own lovely dog, Bella. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to understand their usual routine, personality, likes, dislikes and any special requirements. Whether your dog loves cuddles on the sofa, quiet companionship, enrichment games or long walks, I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, settled and truly at home. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us. I’m so excited to welcome your pup into our family home. My priority is always to make sure both dogs and owners feel happy, reassured and well cared for from the moment they arrive until the moment they go home. I work from home in Swadlincote, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I’m around throughout the day to give dogs plenty of company, attention and reassurance. Dogs staying with us will be part of our normal family home life, with time for walks, garden breaks, play, rest and cuddles. Whilst I will always remain the sole carer looking after your pets while they stay with us, my husband is a Head of Year at a local secondary school, so during school holidays - often peak boarding times - there is even more time, attention and hands-on help at home. Our two children, who are very ‘pet savvy’ through the experience of us fostering pets for several local charities over the years, also enjoy being part of our gentle, dog-loving family environment. I aim to offer two walks a day of between 20 & 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s usual routine, age, energy levels and preferences. We also love visiting secure dog fields for safe, enriching walks and playtime. Meals times will follow your home routine and requests. Your house rules are our house rules when your pet stays with us I offer a safe, calm and loving home-from-home environment with no pets of my own. For this year, I’ll only be boarding one dog, or one household of dogs, at a time, so your dog will receive dedicated one-to-one care and personalised attention throughout their stay. Dogs will always be supervised when using our fully secure, fenced garden, and I will follow your guidance closely around feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, routines, training cues and any special requirements. I understand how important it is to feel reassured when leaving your dog, so I’ll do everything I can to help them feel safe, settled and loved. About: I’ve grown up around lots of dogs. My dads always had between two and six so as kid walking 3 white German shepards at a time was a good start. I’ve cared for 3 dogs the last two years walking them everyday, one being elderly and needing extra care. Whenever I’m out or round a friends house if there’s a dog I will be playing with it. I’ve been told and feel I have an affinity with dogs so making this a bigger part of my life would be a dream. Nearly 4 years ago I sold my place to move into a van this has allowed to follow my passion, dogs. I can’t tell you how lucky I feel when I’m out with a dog I get on well with. I feel I can communicate with dogs as many have told me I’m their best friend. Now summer is here I play cricket so Saturday day I will be unavailable. I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs and understand their different needs. I’ve sat for an XL Bully to my dad’s six King Charles Spaniels. One of the dogs I walk I take for longer than I should but the dog needs it so she gets it. I speak to all dogs and feel that they understand the intent behind your words. I have lots of free time and I’m very punctual.

I am a young 62 year old, living with my husband Martin and we have a labrador retriever Kodie and a lovely fluffy ginger tom cat Buckie, and they are always cared for at home. I have always had animals in my life since I was a young girl and I know that it is really important for pets to try and keep their routine as much as possible when family are away, and the best way to do that is in there own home. For me this is about spending time and sharing company with your cat(s). Yes feed them, clean up if needed. And then just be with them, play if that's what they want. Sit and just be there for cuddles or whatever they need, shy nervous, I'll just sit and let them come to me if they want to, I would want to meet them with you before my first visit. And see what they enjoy and anything special they require. Also happy to support any other small pets you may have (I have experience of birds, fish and reptiles too). Happy to walk dogs too. 😊

However, we did notice the visit lasted around 20 minutes rather than the full 30 minutes we had agreed and paid for, which we would have appreciated being respected. Additionally, we weren’t sure if our full feeding instructions were followed, as we couldn’t find any dry food left out, which made us wonder if the cats only received their wet food. We always aim to give honest feedback to help sitters improve, and we hope this helps for future visits.”

I make sure that your dog always has water available and I let them out to go to the toilet regularly. I leave the back kitchen door open when it is sunny so they can come in and out of the house and garden as they please.
About: We have been around animals especially dogs all our lives, as a child and adult. We've owned dogs, cats, horses and chickens. We are retired so we have lots of spare time. We lost one of our aged dogs a few years ago but have now got the elderly cockapoo and an adorable 1 year old Jackapoo.. We have owned, poodles, labradors, spaniels, a cockerpoo and terriers. We also have experience of caring for dogs into old age and that have medical needs and reqiure a timetable of medication. About: I've been taking care of family and friend's dogs, love going for walks with them as well as snuggling up on the sofa. I work from home Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so i can provide dog sitting services on those days, I can provide dog walks any day in the evenings. I've had dogs and cats all my life (and smaller pets- gerbils, hamsters, fish and rabbits and guinea pigs). My parents and other family have dogs I look after regularly and I look afte the neighbours dog when they're away. Otherwise I've got a peaceful life with 2 cats. Unfortunately don't have the time to have a dog full time so I just borrow everyone else's 🤣 I work from home full Time but long days. Shift work is normally 4 on 4 off so the days I'm free will vary but I do get breaks so if you're not too far from me we can make it work. I'll be sensitive to your and your pets needs. Realistically I can't have any pets here as it'll upset my female cat because she takes some time to get used to other cats and I don't think she'd be keen on a dog staying.

I have a completely fenced in garden to keep your dog safe and your dog can either relax next to me as I work or lie in the living room either in a basket, on the sofa or in a crate if you prefer. I make sure that your dog always has water available and I let them out to go to the toilet regularly. I leave the back kitchen door open when it is sunny so they can come in and out of the house and garden as they please.

For this year, I’ll only be boarding one dog, or one household of dogs, at a time, so your dog will receive dedicated one-to-one care and personalised attention throughout their stay. Dogs will always be supervised when using our fully secure, fenced garden, and I will follow your guidance closely around feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, routines, training cues and any special requirements.
