However, we did notice the visit lasted around 20 minutes rather than the full 30 minutes we had agreed and paid for, which we would have appreciated being respected. Additionally, we weren’t sure if our full feeding instructions were followed, as we couldn’t find any dry food left out, which made us wonder if the cats only received their wet food. We always aim to give honest feedback to help sitters improve, and we hope this helps for future visits.”

For me this is about spending time and sharing company with your cat(s). Yes feed them, clean up if needed. And then just be with them, play if that's what they want. I've had dogs and cats all my life (and smaller pets- gerbils, hamsters, fish and rabbits and guinea pigs). My parents and other family have dogs I look after regularly and I look afte the neighbours dog when they're away. Otherwise I've got a peaceful life with 2 cats. Unfortunately don't have the time to have a dog full time so I just borrow everyone else's 🤣 I work from home full Time but long days.
