Cat Sitting, Grooming & Training 🐈
Hi! I'm Gemesia, a 45-year-old cat purrent based in the Leicester city area, offering cat sitting services in your home, as well as cat walking (either with me or supporting you), and harness training support for cat parents who'd like to learn how to safely take their feline friends outdoors. I've always lived with cats, and have been privileged to share unique and special bonds with each and every one of them. I have a lifetime of experience of not only caring for indoor and free-roaming cats, but also of training my own cats to go on outdoors adventures with me! All of my cat care services are client/feline led, which means that I always allow the cat to dictate the pace when getting to know new clients. As well as maintaining your cat's familiar feeding routine and a sanitary toileting environment, I will ensure that your cat's preferences for affection, play, or privacy are met during each visit. My approach to feline interaction is attentive responsiveness to their body language signals; I will never force a shy cat out of hiding, or touch a cat who is not ready to be approached. My goal with each visit is to reassure my feline clients (and their humans!) by providing a consistently stimulating and caring service, over and above basic feeding and litter cleaning.

Gemisia was excellent - sent little videos every day so we knew Mog was content. Mog has a thyroid issue and Gemisia has experience of this with one of her own cats so we were confident that meds would be dealt with correctly. One of the side effects of the condition is that a cat's fur can go a bit clumpy, especially given that our cat is not grooming as thoroughly as she did in her younger years. Gemisia used a gentle dry foam bath on Mog's fur which is looking so much better. Thanks for everything, Gemisia.
Gemesia has been a fantastic cat sitter from the very beginning. She came to meet us and Loki beforehand, let Loki set the pace, and asked lots of thoughtful questions about his habits and routine. Over the weekend we were away, she kept us well informed with videos both morning and evening, letting us know exactly what Loki was up to and how he was doing. Gemesia made the whole process easy and reassuring, at a time when leaving your pet can be really anxiety provoking. We've already booked her again for our next trip away - highly recommend!
Gemesia was an absolutely fantastic cat sitter! Immediately put me at ease seeing how gentle she was with Kiki at our meet and greet, as Kiki is quite timid initially. Gemesia provided constant communication throughout the stay with nice long updates, house was well looked after and I came home to a very happy, nonchalant cat which was lovely to see. Thank you so much Gemesia!! Kiki is looking forward to further visits from you in future ☺️.
Gemesia was fantastic. My kitties were clearly very comfortable with her from the start. She was very attentive to my crazy crew as well as my 2 ratties which she kindly cared for as well. I’m very happy she’s agreed to look after them again!
