I really believe these are not just pets, but family members and thus I know how heartbreaking it is when you have to leave your dog alone even for a quick run to the store. We would like to help your dog with not feeling alone. I am a dog mom of 2 miniature dachshunds and I know how horrible separation anxiety is, thus I would like to give your dog the possibility to ease the feeling. I do not leave my dogs alone, thus I am taking dog care extremely important. I am working hybrid. I will only offer daycare or boarding on days I am home with my own dogs. My dogs are very friendly and very playful. But an initial meeting is required to make sure everyone is happy. I go on 2 long walks daily out to exhaust them. We have plenty of toys and enjoy some cuddles as well as playtime together. I live in a house with a fenced garden and I installed a doggy door, so my dogs have access to it 24/7. As I have dachshunds, we have plenty of ramps and doggy steps to ensure their backs are protected. My dogs are fully vaccinated including kennel cough.
About: I had a fox red Labrador for 11 and a half years, he was a huge part of our family. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at 10 months old and I administered his medication twice a day and remained calm when he had a fit. Sadly I lost my Jasper in August 2026, he had a stroke following a fit. He was the most amazing furbaby and we all miss him dearly. I offer a loving smoke free environment to other fur babies who need someone in the daytime or board to help his/her parents out from time to time. I work Tuesday to Friday from home and Monday is my day off so I’m available all day to support any needs. I am up by 7am to receive any daycare fur babies I have a fenced off garden and there are some lovely local walks with lots of places for exploring. My home is open plan and comfortable for day visitors or overnight stays

I’m happy caring for older pets, supporting medication routines where needed, and providing a safe, loving environment while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and happiness will always be my priority, and I’ll treat them as if they were my own 😊 Also available on bank holidays and most half terms! I’m currently available throughout the summer holidays and have lots of flexibility for pet care, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. I’ll be away from 15th–18th August, but otherwise I’m happy to discuss bookings and find a time that works for you and your pet. From September, I’ll be returning to my role as a primary school teacher, so my availability will mainly be before and after school, as well as weekends. I’ll always make sure I can fully commit to your pet’s needs and provide reliable, loving care. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority. As a primary school teacher, I’m responsible, organised and used to following routines carefully. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, and I’ll treat both with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m calm, patient and attentive, taking time to understand each pet’s personality, needs and usual routine. I’m happy to provide updates, follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, settled and loved while you’re away.
About: I’ve looked after friends and family dogs for a number of years. I have my own dog too and she is good with other dogs. I offer a safe and friendly environment for your dogs to stay and play. We like to go on lots of walks and would love for your dog to join us. Weekends are better for overnight stays due me and my partner working during the week. Although we would be happy to help if we are available of an evening and you needed to pop out for a few hours. Our garden is secure and we would be happy to keep your dog on the lead whilst out walking. There will always be water down for your dog and we would stick to your feeding/treat schedule if preferred. Dogs are allowed upstairs and on the sofas, lots of toys to play with too.
About: I’ve had dogs all throughout my childhood, and now I have moved out of home and bought my own place, I’m looking to help others with their furry bestie. I work from home during the week on a flexible work pattern, so I’m able to pop out and attend to your dogs needs when necessary. I have a fenced garden (with grass!) and a camera outside the house for extra protection. I work downstairs so your dog will never feel like they are alone.

About: I’ve had dogs around me since a child from puppies to rescue dogs. I’m reliable and trustworthy and will give your dog the same level of care that you give them at home. I’m currently working part time so I have lots of time to play with and care for your dog. I'm available mostly in the week to take for walks and board and can be flexible with weekends. I have a fenced small garden so your pet is safe, there is also lots of parks and open land locally to take your dog for fun walks. There is also space for crates if your dog requires it.

About: I had a fox red Labrador for 11 and a half years, he was a huge part of our family. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at 10 months old and I administered his medication twice a day and remained calm when he had a fit. Sadly I lost my Jasper in August 2026, he had a stroke following a fit. He was the most amazing furbaby and we all miss him dearly. I offer a loving smoke free environment to other fur babies who need someone in the daytime or board to help his/her parents out from time to time. I work Tuesday to Friday from home and Monday is my day off so I’m available all day to support any needs. I am up by 7am to receive any daycare fur babies I have a fenced off garden and there are some lovely local walks with lots of places for exploring. My home is open plan and comfortable for day visitors or overnight stays

“Easily the best decision I could have made. I was so nervous about leaving my 18 month old boxer (36kg) who suffers with seizures. “This was Baileys 7th or 8th stay with Martine and Alex. As always we couldn’t have been happier knowing Bailey was in their extremely capable (and loving) hands. Martine is always great with communication and send lots of photos and updates which we love. It’s obvious they treat Bailey with so much love and care, as she is always excited when she realises where she is and quickly makes herself at home. On this occasion we had a last minute unavoidable change in our plans. This lead to requesting to extend the booking and although Martine and Alex had some other bookings in between they went above and beyond to assist in getting Bailey cared for. We couldn’t have been more appreciative as they took one thing off our plate when dealing with a lot of plan changes and organising ourselves. Knowing Bailey was in their hands relieved a lot of stress and worry at a difficult time. I just cannot recommend Martine & Alex highly enough. We often talk about how lucky we are to have found in them, the absolute best match for our Bailey girl.”
