“Mark and Helen looked after Simba as if he were their own dog. We were so happy knowing Simba was being so cared for in every way while we were on holiday. We can't recommend them high enough, we met with Mark and Helen before Simba's stay any worries we had about taking him to stay there were gone completely after chatting with them. Simba's a 10 year old dog set in his ways everything was accommodated with smiles and like it was completely normal. Anyone leaving their dog with Mark and Helen will be as happy as we were. They were fantastic thankyou so much to you both, such a lovely couple xxx”

“Dominika and Adam were fantastic. Great communication before and during our dog’s stay with them. Lola seems to have had a great time there and nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommend!”

“Rachel was great with George. She sent photos and updates and was really understanding when I picked him up late in the evening due to a delayed flight. He was clearly very happy there 🐕🦺😁”

“Can’t recommend Heather highly enough. Looked after our boy so well - a real home from home for him! Communication was great and we really appreciated the photos and updates of him enjoying himself! Thank you!”

“Sarah and her wonderful family looked after Luna for a few days. She was very well looked after and I would highly recommend Sarah as a great option to look after your dog.”

“Would highly recommend Lydia! On first meeting Lydia with Teddy, she made me feel very reassured that Teddy would be happy and comfortable in her home. Communication was perfect throughout his stay and we picked up a very happy and well cared for doggie.”

“Kell deserves five stars, a medal, and possibly honorary dog status after his week with Cassie. He and his family clearly treated her like one of their own — she came back happy, well-fed, and with the unmistakable air of a dog who’s been on a better holiday than her owner. Plenty of walks, lots of care, and (judging by her contented expression) zero complaints from the guest of honour. Honestly, I’m not entirely sure she wanted to come home. Would absolutely trust Kell again — though I suspect Cassie may try to rebook herself first.”

“Georgie was an absolute joy throughout the entire process - quick to respond, fully professional, and so welcoming of Ewok into her home. Ewok had an absolute blast with her and Nala, so much so that she needed a nap when she got back! Can't wait to book her in again soon.”

“Daniela was so lovely and warm, Luka was immediately at ease in her home and I was very happy leaving him in her care. She sent me updates and photos and Luka looked super relaxed and happy in them! He came home very reluctantly after clearly having a great time. Would not hesitate to recommend her :)”

“We cant rate Daniel highly enough, Frankie had a day with Daniel and he was fantastic. Our beautiful Border Collie had the best time. We won't hesitate in using him again... He was extremely attentive and even kept us informed throughout the day. Thank you so much.”

“Roy was able to look after Kato at short notice and was very flexible over drop off and pick up times. Kato is a young dog who is full of energy but Roy gave him plenty of walks, play and cuddles and he was well looked after. I would definitely ask Roy to look after Kato again.”

“Tango enjoyed his stay, and was noticeably happy on arrival and when we picked him up. He was played with, walked and had plenty of attention. I was updated everyday, low detail but was away abroad, so it was appreciated! Will use again!”

“Susan and her family made our little Pip VERY happy! She clearly had a wonderful time with the family (including with Ozzy the dog), looked extremely settled, and returned home a very relaxed dog. Enormous thanks to you all.”

“Halley and Eddie were great - from the moment I dropped Trevor off I knew he was going to be well-looked after for the weekend. Halley was brilliant at communicating from the initial enquiry and throughout Trevor's stay, sending updates with pictures too which were really appreciated. Trevor loved his walks over at Cox's Meadow and came home happy and tired. Would highly recommend to all. Thank you Halley and Eddie.”

“Charlie had a lovely time during his stay with Kristen. He was very well Looked after and well exercised. I received regular updates and pictures of him on walkies and him snoozing. I Would highly recommend Kristen to look after your Fur baby 🥰”

About: I’ve had pet dogs since I was 8 years old and have grown up looking after them, we had 5 of our own dogs at my family home, all of 3 different breeds. I am a huge cat and dog lover and love every single animal, looking after and being with animals is my passion! I also have lots of experience with cats after having and looking after them for years! I work full time but I am available at weekends from Friday evening to Sunday evening, I can also accommodate to weekday evenings too and boarding but will have to leave early morning in the week. I have a fenced and good sized garden, I have dogs of my own but if your dog needs to be alone, I can also accommodate to this and have them stay at my family house.

About: Beth: I’ve had a family dog from when he was a puppy until he sadly passed away last year at the age of 16. He was a Westie, and I helped care for him throughout his life, especially during his senior years. Because of this, I understand the different needs of both young, energetic dogs and older dogs who require a little extra care and patience. George: used to have a family dog who was a Great Dane / Akita who was so loving, experience with dog dog breeds. Weve recently moved back from living in Sydney for a year, where we looked after a variety of dogs including Jack Russells and Goldendoodles. My experience included day care while owners were at work, dog walking during the day, and overnight stays while owners were away on holiday. We’re both very reliable, caring, and genuinely love being around dogs. After recently losing my own, spending time with dogs again means a lot to me. Pet sitting is a great way for me to enjoy the company of dogs while helping owners who need support with their pets, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Beth works fully remote (occasional office day a month) so I have plenty of availability during the week and some weekends. I have lots of time to walk, play with, and give attention to your furry friend! Between both of us there will always be someone around to help care for your dog! I work fully remote and love being active so I’m at home to keep your dog company and and play, I also love getting my steps in multiple times a day so can keep them entertained with walks! I have experience looking after my own dog and also my friends and family’s dog at their homes, taking out for walks and playing with them
“She is a special person, my dog was very well taken care of, she is a very responsible and caring person, both she and her partner are very pleasant people, very sociable and friendly, I always received information about the dog, pictures and videos, I am very happy to have met her and I will use her again whenever I need to. THANK YOU”

“Gemma was amazing. The cats liked her immediately and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Thank you so much for taking care of our babies and entertaining them while we were away.”

“Lily was fantastic with my two cats, and was able to coax my shy cat out for food when he got a bit scared and made sure he was fed. I received fantastic updates from Lily, and I'd have no hesitation in rebooking her for future visits and recommending to others. Thanks Lily!!”

“Rebecca was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Dillon. She kept me consistently updated with messages, photos and videos, which genuinely made such a difference while I was away (he’s basically my child, so this meant a lot!). It was so reassuring to see how relaxed and content he was with her. Especially as he can sometimes take a little while to warm up to new people. Rebecca was incredibly attentive, kind and thoughtful. She picked up on little things, kept me informed, and clearly gave Dillon lots of love and attention; he looked so happy and settled. She also took great care of my home, left everything spotless, and was just a pleasure to communicate with throughout. I would 100% rebook with Rebecca in a heartbeat and would highly recommend her to anyone. Dillon already can’t wait for his next stay with her 🥰”

“Thanks to Lisa again for looking after our two cats, we had a great long weekend and knew the cats would be well cared for. Really appreciate the updates and the peace of mind.”

“Micol is just amazing and Oscar absolutely loves her. She is so conscientious and updates me thoroughly. It's always nerve wracking leaving your fur baby in the hands of someone else, but I feel 100% confident and relaxed when Micol is looking in. In fact, I think Oscar is starting to prefer her to me! 😂 ”

About: My first pet was a cat and ever since I’ve just loved them. The attention, love and sometimes chaos 😅 means no moment with a cat is ever dull. I’ve had and looked after cats since I was 13 and can’t imagine life without one.

“I've used Rover a couple of times before and Elise is by far the best sitter I've had. The photos showed she was interacting with the cats, giving them fuss and playing with them and when there was something she wasn't sure about she got in touch about it. Highly recommended and will definitely use again.”

“Gillian did great job, I received daily updates with multiple pictures, any questions I had were answered quickly, both my kittens were happy on arrival. I highly recommend Gillian.”

About: Hello, I’m Emma. I have over 15 years experience in pet care, including house sitting, dog walking and puppy training. I am also a dog wedding chaperone, helping happy couples have their beloved pets part of their wedding day. As well as offering services on Rover, I also have my own pet care business called Harris Hounds of Cheltenham. Full Insurence including public liability, DBS check and Dog First Aid Trained. Thanks for stopping bye, I look forward to hearing from you. ☺️🐾🐕 My services are subject to my availability as I do work but hoping to soon be in a position that I can do this full time. However I am free most evenings and weekends and also available to house sit whilst you are away. I am able to look after small animals at my place (weekends) and have a safe and secure garden. Any animals larger than your average small dog, it would be more convenient for me to look after them at your home. I am experienced with: - puppies - nervous dogs - elderly dogs - reactive dogs

“Gemma was great! She was super patient with Juniper who is very shy and takes time to get to know new people. I had regular updates, and was really pleased to see him building trust with her ☺️🐈⬛”

“Charlotte provided exceptional care for Marcus, keeping me informed every step of the way with regular updates on his wellbeing. It was such a relief knowing he was in safe, attentive hands. She was wonderfully flexible around my schedule and consistently punctual - exactly what you want when you're trusting someone with your pet. When I returned home, everything was spotless: a clean litter tray and the right amount of food in his bowl. It's clear she genuinely takes pride in the care she provides. I'd absolutely recommend Charlotte and will definitely be booking again! :)”

“Courtney has been great with my kitty Monna. I got daily updates/peace of mind and Monna got daily entertainment/belly rubs. We'll definitely be in touch again when we need help next 🙂”

“Leanne and her partner Pav, are such lovely and warm people and also big dog lovers! Ripley had a lovely time with them and they kept on sending pics with updates throughout the day. 😊🐾”

“Charlotte looked after Horace for the day and I think he was in dog heaven. He had a lovely walk and plenty of fuss and just the right amount of treats. “Highly recommend Annabel. Biggie loved playing with her dog,and I went sent regular pictures which I really appreciated as it was our first time leaving him with someone. About: My name is Shannon, I am 30 years old from the UK. I have previous experience house/pet sitting mostly when I was living in New Zealand (unfortunately I have no reviews on here as it was with a NZ company) I also worked in a Kennel in Australia working with different types of pets including dogs, cat, rodents, rabbits and some farm animals. I have also worked in Zoos as a Keeper so I am very organized, clean, officiant, always go above & beyond and am used to administrating medication if needed. I have just returned from Australia where I run a busy baby flying fox nursery every season. I have been volunteering with them for the past 9 years but now seeking to travel the UK and pet sit while seeking a permanent animal job here in the UK. I am currently taking a break from working at a Wildlife Hospital so I am flexible at the moment until otherwise stated. I will keep clients updated on work schedule. I live on a farm where there is huge fields to run through and small streams to swim in. I can walk your dog either on his/her own or take them with the other friendly dogs at the farms.
“Kim helped with pick-up and drop-off when we requested, which we really appreciated. The care was good overall, but communication was quite slow. Thank you for taking care if Lara for the day.”

“Kristen was very communicative to accommodate Rocco at short notice and completely reassured me before arrival On arrival she made such a fuss and showed him and I around and off he trotted tail wagging with his new friends. I got updates during the day to put my mind at rest for his first visit and she even had plenty cuddles with him. I took home a very happy and tired doggo who was full of tail wags We will be back!”

“Sophie was once again an absolute star with Joey! As he was unfamiliar with being in new surroundings, he unfortunately left his "mark" in multiple places in Sophie's house shortly after we arrived. Sophie was very understanding and forgiving :-) Joey has a great day exploring and giving and receiving cuddles, and Sophie was kind enough to brave the storm to drop him at home quite late at night. Fab experience again and I will have no hesitation in continuing to use Sophie's services and recommend her to others.”

“Can't recommend Claire enough, really helped us out incredibly last minute, and Ayce came home after day care incredibly chilled out and happy, he obviously had a great day!!”

“Thankyou to Bethany and Dan,Absolutely fantastic, my dog was so well looked after, their dog is so nice and friendly. It was my first time using daycare and I couldn’t of asked for a better experience, they kept me updated with photos and were flexible on pickup and drop off times, sorry again for the early mornings 🫣. Thankyou!”

About: Dog owner since I was seven years old. My lurcher was an angel who had three legs the last few years of her life, used to life with elderly dogs. My second dog was a collie/cairn cross who could be a little devil so I know how to handle some moodiness. My grandmother had three Rottweilers when I was little so used to big dogs as well. Calm, kind environment at home with the certainty of walks up the Cotswold hills. I’m currently working zero hour so can be around as much as required. My father who loves dogs works from home so there is additional care there! :) Currently working ad hoc; family home. My Dad works from home, loves dogs, my Mum does too. 3 people for the price of 1 :) Green grassy garden; perfect area downstairs for night that our dogs always used to sleep in. Close to town. Everyone drives, estate car so big boot to travel for more rural walks.

We know how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets. That’s why we offer the same care, attention, and love we would give to our own. Whether it’s long walks, cuddles on the sofa, or keeping up with your dog’s routine, we make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Your dog will enjoy fresh air, plenty of playtime, and endless affection with us. We’d love to meet your furry friend and make them feel at home — because when they’re with us, they’re part of the family. We have a fenced garden to make sure your pet is safe when playing outside. Please let us know if there is anything we need to know to make sure your dog is safe with us.
“Lisa has been completely brilliant, accommodating Her Ladyship and I very last minute. Marcie has really engaged well with Lisa and is always delighted to see her. Thank you Lisa, you’re a star.”

“Stef walks our dogs every week and they always have a great time! Stef is excellent with our labradors, incredibly patient and caring. One of our dogs is a puppy and Stef has been brilliant reinforcing the training and teaching Lana new skills.”

About: I first began taking care of animals when the neighbors would ask my sister and I to watch their cats and small animals while away. Then I finally convinced my parents to get a family dog and that’s where most of my experience is! During covid years, my friend and I have been doing house/pet sitting for family friends for the past year and I enjoy it so much. Unfortunately we lost our precious family dog Jack a couple years ago and having moved from the US to the UK, I am seriously missing animal interaction ! I am pursuing a masters degree in social work from UoG and am currently on a full-time placement until the end of July. During placement I work Monday-Friday, 9-4:30 but am available in evenings and weekends. Once placement ends I will have much more free time and flexibility. While I am currently living in an apartment and will not be able to bring your pet home with me, I enjoy going for long walks in some beautiful neighborhoods or parks of which Cheltenham has plenty to offer! I am also happy to check in on your fur baby for potty breaks, feeding time, or just to share some company for a while or even extend it to overnight house sitting as well if that makes them feel more secure!
About: I have been passionate about dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them, having them as pets, and looking after friends' dogs has only deepened my love of them. Whether your dog requires a refreshing countryside adventure, a fun park outing, an energetic playtime with games and balls, or a gentle local stroll, I am dedicated to providing the ultimate care and enjoyment for your furry friend. I have lots of time in the week to walk and play with your lovely dog. I’m available on weekdays from 9am. I also offer boarding in the week and on weekends. I have a fenced garden, with plenty of space to run around outside or play with a toy. I owned a dog for 15 until she passed recently, so my house is dog friendly.

About: I’ve recently relocated to the UK to train as a doctor in the NHS. I’m a proud owner of a sassy tortie named Charlie, who is currently back home with my family. I miss my cat very dearly and would love to channel all this love I have for other precious furry ones (and hairless ones too!) around me. I’ve been actively petsitting across the UK for the last 2 years - cats and dogs alike. I really enjoy spending time with animals so it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. I work full time as a doctor and have varying shift patterns, as such I can be available even during weekdays if those are my off days. I am amenable to tailor a schedule that best fits all of us, so please don’t hesitate to contact me. As your petsitter I will: - Arrange a free Meet & Greet to get to know you and your pet - Provide fresh food and water for your pet daily - Clean and groom your pet for free - Enjoy plenty of play time and cuddles - Send daily photos, videos and updates - Basic housekeeping to keep your home tidy while you’re away
About: I learnt the responsibilities of caring for dogs early on in my childhood. I have grew up with dogs since I was a baby, and have always had a deep love for animals. I took this passion and love of animals and wanted to pursue it as a career. I studied animal management at college where I gained 3 years work experience in a boarding kennel. I then wanted to expand my knowledge further and continued my studies at Hartpury University in Canine Training and Performance, where I graduated with a 2.1 (upper second-class honours). Through this time I have gained a lot of experience on caring for a wide range of animals. Including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and even pigs! I volunteered at a pig rescue in Ireland where I learnt a lot about these spectacular animals, who are a lot like dogs! I've learnt to deal with animals of all kinds of temperaments and how to pick up on body language to adapt my approaches quickly to ensure safety for all parties involved. This also helps to ensure that the animals are as stress free as can be. I do work full time however, I am typically available Mondays and Tuesdays, and most evenings. However this can change due to my work schedule. I have a fenced of garden to ensure security during their stay. I am also very knowledgeable about canine behaviours and training so am easily able to pick up on signs of distress when out on a walk to adapt and change to the environment

Their home is well suited for dog sitting, as they have a lovely garden in back. They even contacted us to see if it was ok to take Bruce out in the rain, because he looked hesitant. Will happily book again, and highly recommend.”

“Highly recommend Annabel. Bruce loved playing with her dog, Ronnie and she kept us up to date whilst we were away for the weekend. Wouldn’t hesistate rebook with her and thank you again for having 😊”
“Claire helped me hugely by taking Madra at short notice. Claire is very personable, and Madra adored her; I had trouble getting her to leave! Madra was very well cared for during her stay and I would have complete confidence in booking Claire in the future.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Leaving our puppy for a week was something I was quite emotional about, but from the very beginning we felt completely reassured. Our puppy was clearly cared for with so much love and patience, and settled in beautifully too. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was in a safe, calm and caring environment. We are so grateful and would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind.”
