“Mark and Helen looked after Simba as if he were their own dog. We were so happy knowing Simba was being so cared for in every way while we were on holiday. We can't recommend them high enough, we met with Mark and Helen before Simba's stay any worries we had about taking him to stay there were gone completely after chatting with them. Simba's a 10 year old dog set in his ways everything was accommodated with smiles and like it was completely normal. Anyone leaving their dog with Mark and Helen will be as happy as we were. They were fantastic thankyou so much to you both, such a lovely couple xxx”

About: I’ve had pet dogs since I was 8 years old and have grown up looking after them, we had 5 of our own dogs at my family home, all of 3 different breeds. I am a huge cat and dog lover and love every single animal, looking after and being with animals is my passion! I also have lots of experience with cats after having and looking after them for years! I work full time but I am available at weekends from Friday evening to Sunday evening, I can also accommodate to weekday evenings too and boarding but will have to leave early morning in the week. I have a fenced and good sized garden, I have dogs of my own but if your dog needs to be alone, I can also accommodate to this and have them stay at my family house.

He was a Westie, and I helped care for him throughout his life, especially during his senior years. Weve recently moved back from living in Sydney for a year, where we looked after a variety of dogs including Jack Russells and Goldendoodles. We’re both very reliable, caring, and genuinely love being around dogs. After recently losing my own, spending time with dogs again means a lot to me. About: Dog owner since I was seven years old. My lurcher was an angel who had three legs the last few years of her life, used to life with elderly dogs. My second dog was a collie/cairn cross who could be a little devil so I know how to handle some moodiness. My grandmother had three Rottweilers when I was little so used to big dogs as well. About: I first began taking care of animals when the neighbors would ask my sister and I to watch their cats and small animals while away. Then I finally convinced my parents to get a family dog and that’s where most of my experience is! During covid years, my friend and I have been doing house/pet sitting for family friends for the past year and I enjoy it so much. Unfortunately we lost our precious family dog Jack a couple years ago and having moved from the US to the UK, I am seriously missing animal interaction ! I am pursuing a masters degree in social work from UoG and am currently on a full-time placement until the end of July. During placement I work Monday-Friday, 9-4:30 but am available in evenings and weekends. Once placement ends I will have much more free time and flexibility. About: I learnt the responsibilities of caring for dogs early on in my childhood. I have grew up with dogs since I was a baby, and have always had a deep love for animals. I took this passion and love of animals and wanted to pursue it as a career. I studied animal management at college where I gained 3 years work experience in a boarding kennel. I then wanted to expand my knowledge further and continued my studies at Hartpury University in Canine Training and Performance, where I graduated with a 2.1 (upper second-class honours). Through this time I have gained a lot of experience on caring for a wide range of animals. Including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and even pigs! I volunteered at a pig rescue in Ireland where I learnt a lot about these spectacular animals, who are a lot like dogs! I've learnt to deal with animals of all kinds of temperaments and how to pick up on body language to adapt my approaches quickly to ensure safety for all parties involved. This also helps to ensure that the animals are as stress free as can be. I do work full time however, I am typically available Mondays and Tuesdays, and most evenings. However this can change due to my work schedule. I have a fenced of garden to ensure security during their stay. I am also very knowledgeable about canine behaviours and training so am easily able to pick up on signs of distress when out on a walk to adapt and change to the environment

“Kell deserves five stars, a medal, and possibly honorary dog status after his week with Cassie. He and his family clearly treated her like one of their own — she came back happy, well-fed, and with the unmistakable air of a dog who’s been on a better holiday than her owner. Plenty of walks, lots of care, and (judging by her contented expression) zero complaints from the guest of honour. Honestly, I’m not entirely sure she wanted to come home. Would absolutely trust Kell again — though I suspect Cassie may try to rebook herself first.”
“Daniela was so lovely and warm, Luka was immediately at ease in her home and I was very happy leaving him in her care. She sent me updates and photos and Luka looked super relaxed and happy in them! He came home very reluctantly after clearly having a great time. Would not hesitate to recommend her :)”

“Roy was able to look after Kato at short notice and was very flexible over drop off and pick up times. Kato is a young dog who is full of energy but Roy gave him plenty of walks, play and cuddles and he was well looked after. I would definitely ask Roy to look after Kato again.”

Halley was brilliant at communicating from the initial enquiry and throughout Trevor's stay, sending updates with pictures too which were really appreciated. About: I’ve had pet dogs since I was 8 years old and have grown up looking after them, we had 5 of our own dogs at my family home, all of 3 different breeds. I am a huge cat and dog lover and love every single animal, looking after and being with animals is my passion! I also have lots of experience with cats after having and looking after them for years! I work full time but I am available at weekends from Friday evening to Sunday evening, I can also accommodate to weekday evenings too and boarding but will have to leave early morning in the week. I have a fenced and good sized garden, I have dogs of my own but if your dog needs to be alone, I can also accommodate to this and have them stay at my family house.

Their home is well suited for dog sitting, as they have a lovely garden in back. They even contacted us to see if it was ok to take Bruce out in the rain, because he looked hesitant.
