About: I am new to the pet setting world, however I've grown up and owned dogs all my life (including collies, spaniels, jack russels and labs). I've looked after friends dogs and spent time walking dogs on borrow my doggy. I'm patient and comfortable with many animals, including cats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc. I am not currently in a position to have pets where I live. Hence, me offering this service to spend time with animals, and to give others piece of mind when away. I do have a job, which is why my free time is predominantly first thing in the morning, evening, Friday afternoons or weekends. I am happy to discuss possible lunch time drop ins via messenger. I work full-time, however I'm in a hybrid role so can spend time with your loving pet while I'm on my lunch break. I can also finish work at 4pm, so plenty of time to go for a long walk or play in the evenings. I only work half days on Fridays and often have weekends free. I only offer care for pets in your home, so they are used to the environment. When out walking I also won't let them off the lead until we are confident they will recall.

Lily was great. Offered a meet and greet before which was really reassuring to us as first timers! She picked Macey up on time and Macey seemed to have had a great time from the pictures. Thanks Lily!

About: I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have been house and pet sitting pretty much full time since January 2019 and, to date, have completed 110 sits in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand all receiving 5 star reviews. Those were through other platforms when I was travelling and rented out my home. I have been back in my home since July 2025 and decided to join Rover on recommendation. I have mainly looked after a variety of dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, cats and chickens but also alpacas, rare sheep, pygmy goats and fish. I like the challenge of teaching a dog new tricks (!) and taught a Dachshund to ring a bell, a Tibetan Terrier to wait before running after a ball and a Cockapoo to sit and high five, things they didn’t do before. I’m open to more challenges! I keep myself fit and particularly enjoy walking which is enhanced by the company of dogs. I like nothing more than to take my canine charges exploring with me, with their owners’ permission, and have introduced many to new walks and sniffs. I will keep your pets to their normal routines, give them as much love and cuddles as they can take and keep your home as clean and tidy as you leave it. I am retired so can give your pets plenty of attention in their home with long or short walks for dogs outside and happy to continue with any training they might be doing. Cats will get lots of attention also if they wish I will ensure that I keep to the routines of feeding, walking and sleeping that your dogs are used to. I will be alert to any changes in their demeanour and take appropriate action should they become ill. Having been a house owner for over 40 years I will also ensure I take action should any home emergency occur

About: I have grown up with a wide variety of animals, from dogs, to cats, chickens to cows and rabbits to reptiles (and more) and have also worked on a farm in the petting zoo area. I am extremely confident with animals and nothing makes me happier than the company of a dog. I have had my own dogs: German Shepherd, working Vizsla, Golden Retriever, I currently do not have my own dog since moving out of my family home but still look after the family Vizsla and Retriever when needed. I have also dog-sat and cared for other dogs recently including Whippets, Spaniels and Dachshunds. I will always request a list of instructions, training commands (known and learning) and will look after anyone’s pet to those specifications as I know how important it is to maintain an animal’s routine and training especially when being in a new environment. I have a large car so am able to take pets to their favourite parks / places, but also live in central Cheltenham near Montpellier, Imperial and Pitville which are ideal places for walks. I work from home 3 days a week and can walk a dog morning, lunch time and evening, my work will allow me to interact with pets all day in the house outside of the walking times whilst working. I am very attentive with dogs and it’s important to me that they’re kept happy and entertained all day. I live with my partner who also loves dogs and has lots of experience (he has had a Kangol and other mixed breeds of medium and large dogs throughout his life) I am free most weekends and bank holidays and would be able to have dogs stay overnight if needed during these times to allow owners to go on trips and holidays. I request owners to send me instructions including a daily routine, likes and dislikes, mannerisms, and any commands known or commands learning so that I can ensure I care for someone’s pet, the same way they care for them. I am able to host any size crate in my living room and have a multi-level property with a small courtyard garden, I live across the road from Montpellier Gardens so have outside space for a larger dog there if a private garden isn’t necessary for exercise. I am more than happy to give owners updates as much as they want during their pets stay, and frankly love giving updates and photos of their pets enjoying their time. All owners are welcome for property visits, walks to meet eachother and trial runs to see how I interact with their dogs to ensure you’re comfortable with me caring for them.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and had a family dog from when he was a puppy until he sadly passed away last year at the age of 16. He was a Westie, and I helped care for him throughout his life, especially during his senior years. Because of this, I understand the different needs of both young, energetic dogs and older dogs who require a little extra care and patience. I’ve recently moved back from living in Sydney for a year, where I looked after a variety of dogs including Jack Russells and Goldendoodles. My experience included day care while owners were at work, dog walking during the day, and overnight stays while owners were away on holiday. I’m reliable, caring, and genuinely love being around dogs. After recently losing my own, spending time with dogs again means a lot to me. Pet sitting is a great way for me to enjoy the company of dogs while helping owners who need support with their pets, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work a fully remote role (occasional office day a month) so I have plenty of availability during the week and some weekends. I have lots of time to walk, play with, and give attention to your furry friend! Im a 26 year old who’s just moved back to the UK from Australia. I am currently unemployed and looking for work, so I’m free all day every day in the week to look after and walk your fur babies! I have experience looking after my own dog and also my friends and family’s dog at their homes, taking out for walks and playing with them

About: Hi there! We’re Matt and Daniela, lifelong dog lovers who truly enjoy spending time with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Matt grew up with two dogs and has always enjoyed their company. Together, we’ve looked after many friends’ dogs over the years — sometimes for just a day, other times for several weeks at a time. We know how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets. That’s why we offer the same care, attention, and love we would give to our own. Whether it’s long walks, cuddles on the sofa, or keeping up with your dog’s routine, we make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Your dog will enjoy fresh air, plenty of playtime, and endless affection with us. We’d love to meet your furry friend and make them feel at home — because when they’re with us, they’re part of the family. Daniela mostly works from home, so your pet will have company throughout the day — plenty of time for cuddle breaks, playtime, and regular walks to keep them happy and relaxed. We have a fenced garden to make sure your pet is safe when playing outside. Please let us know if there is anything we need to know to make sure your dog is safe with us.

About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I’ve moved to Cheltenham for my work and I miss having a dog around so I thought I would look after them in my spare time while acting. I’m currently working as an actor, and I’ve got a couple of days off so I thought I would do Dog sitting as I couldn’t bring my dog up to Cheltenham so my dog is in back with my dad. Unfortunately, I can’t have dogs at my flat, but I’m more than happy to come over and dog sit at your house and take them for walks

About: I have been with cats and dogs since I can remember. Growing up with 4 cats in my family home and 2 dogs at my Nan’s house I have recently gone freelance as a photographer, so I am at home editing a lot. I shoot for a few hours a day but my availability varies widely. My house is secure and have a garden if your animal wants to go outside. Both neighbours have a small dog but there is no access to them.

About: Dog owner since I was seven years old. My lurcher was an angel who had three legs the last few years of her life, used to life with elderly dogs. My second dog was a collie/cairn cross who could be a little devil so I know how to handle some moodiness. My grandmother had three Rottweilers when I was little so used to big dogs as well. Calm, kind environment at home with the certainty of walks up the Cotswold hills. I’m currently working zero hour so can be around as much as required. My father who loves dogs works from home so there is additional care there! :) Currently working ad hoc; family home. My Dad works from home, loves dogs, my Mum does too. 3 people for the price of 1 :) Green grassy garden; perfect area downstairs for night that our dogs always used to sleep in. Close to town. Everyone drives, estate car so big boot to travel for more rural walks.

My dog chooses his own walkers/minders and given how he bounces up and down in delight when Clare arrives at the door, he has obviously made his decision !! Clare’s quiet and calm demeanour is perfect for my excitable little mutt, and I feel completely relaxed when she takes him out. Regarding my dealings with her, she has shown remarkable patience with my uncertain situation, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing a professionally minded and reliable walker and sitter.
