Hi there, I'm Clare, a working professional who adores animals. I have grown up with pets around the house since the day I was born and have lots of experience with both dogs and cats. Sadly, my lovely lab (Poppy) passed away last year (at 16 years old!) and life has never been the same. I'm now looking to love and look after doggies in the Cheltenham area whilst their mums and dads are away or at work. In order to provide the love and attention that your fur-kids deserve, I only take one booking at a time for pet-sitting. I understand that leaving pets behind can be daunting, so I send regular updates and photos of them enjoying every day to put your mind at ease

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground floor flat that is lovely, comfortable and spacious for your pets. There is a safe, enclosed garden attached to the apartment. There are plenty of nearby options for plenty of lovely walks and regular toilet trips. I will never walk your dog off-lead, unless you advise that you are comfortable with this.

My dog chooses his own walkers/minders and given how he bounces up and down in delight when Clare arrives at the door, he has obviously made his decision !! Clare’s quiet and calm demeanour is perfect for my excitable little mutt, and I feel completely relaxed when she takes him out. Regarding my dealings with her, she has shown remarkable patience with my uncertain situation, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing a professionally minded and reliable walker and sitter.
Clare was great at looking after our pup for the day. We had photos and updates and would definitely book Clare again! 😊
This is second time Claire had Justin and I can’t thank her enough for looking after him ssl well. He comes home so happy and tired.

Clare would make an excellent dog sitter, having grown up with her own dog, which gave her years of hands-on experience in caring for pets. She developed a deep understanding of dogs’ needs from a young age and knows how to create a calm and nurturing environment for them. Clare is responsible, attentive, and truly loves animals. She enjoys being active, so dogs in her care can look forward to plenty of walks and playtime. Pet owners can trust Clare to treat their dogs with the same love and care she gave to her own.

Schedule
I have a flexible working pattern and am able to work from home on most days. I do not work on weekends. Please get in touch regarding availability as I will always try to accommodate. I am able to provide pet-sitting, drop-ins and walks and understand the importance of good company, stimulation, exercise and cuddles for a happy, healthy doggy.
